Disclaimer: I do not own The Chronicles of Narnia. At all.

Summary: Susan wants to forget Narnia, telling herself it wasn't real. But all she can do is hide.

Author's Note: It's 1 in the afternoon, and I haven't had breakfast yet. But I'll be okay.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd. Voltaire.

Susan walked over to her vanity and straightened her dress, uncertain how this would look to her family, but certain that it would look good to Roger, her some-what steady date. "Won't you sit with us tonight, Susan? We were going to speak of our early days in-"

"There is no such thing as Narnia! Why can't you see that? It was just a silly game when we had to stay with the Professor. Stop pretending, all of you!"

She wasn't going to remember Narnia. Not tonight.
