This chapter takes place during Team Light chapter 319. There will be two chapter for the Kubutori Sarasa mini arc. Thanks to CMXB for letting me borrow a bit from him for this chapter.
Yuto who was giving Ellen a piggyback ride, Kurumi, and Zed who was in a cheetah form thanks to the Anitrix were rushing through the forest trying to get out of it as it somehow gave Daito some inference. Apparently, Daito forgot he can call Zelretch but forgot about it. There was a slight tension between Kurumi and Ellen, but they managed to get over it and Ellen now was calling Kurumi mama Kurumi and couldn't wait to meet her other mamas. Thanks to Daito Yuto made an herbal medicine for Ellen to get rid of the poison though she will have to drink it once a day for a few weeks which gave her mixed feelings as she was glad that her illness was finally going to be gone but the medicine was so bitter.
Suddenly another portal shows up and swallows them up. It spits them out in the sky near a snowy mountain.
"Not again!" Yuto yells in anger as Zed quickly uses the Dinotrix and transforms into a large Quetzalcoatlus and catches them. Zed quickly lands and drops them off before turning back into her true self.
"I am really starting to hate portals." Yuto with a frown as he kneels down so he can let Ellen down.
"It's snow daddy, mama Kurumi, Uncle Daito, and Zed." Ellen said with some joy as some of her past victims had memories of playing in the snow and that it was fun for them, so she wanted to play in the snow too, but she couldn't sense she was bound to the house before she starts wincing as the guilt of her victims' deaths hits her. Being with her daddy and some of her new family members for the last couple days has really help her get better mentally and morally but still she wishes she can stop feeling guilty soon. It does help relieve some of the guilt since that stupid demon was responsible for manipulating her.
"Do you want to play in the snow for a bit Ellen?" Yuto asks as he pets her head as he takes off his coat and places it on her, so she doesn't get cold.
"Uh-huh!" She said with a big smile on her face causing Yuto to chuckle a bit at her cuteness before a storm comes down surprising them. He picks up Ellen with his left arm and puts his right arm up as the group goes forward.
"What the hell is happening?" Yuto questions with a frown.
They then see a shadow and see woman wearing cloak and hood with a kimono. she has black hair in a ponytail and red eyes.
"Oh, what are you doing here?" She asks.
"We're looking for shelter to wait out this storm." Yuto said holding Ellen tightly as he felt some negative emotions from her.
"I see." She said as she smiles. "Come with me, it's too dangerous to be out here." She takes Yuto's hand and leads them to a house with a hearth with fire. Yuto, Ellen who was sitting on his lap, Kurumi, and Zed were sitting on the floor while the woman who helped them was making tea.
"I see. So, you four were in a forest when a portal of some kind swallowed you four up and spited you out in this location." She said with a frown as she could tell they were telling the truth as the dog was not like any other breed she knows about.
"Yes. This was the second time it happened to me, Kurumi, and Zed while this was the first time it happened to Ellen." Yuto explains.
"It was not fun." Ellen said with a grimace as going through the portal was rough. The woman sets the teacups down as starts pouring tea into them.
"My name is Yuto Emiya. This is my newly adopted daughter Ellen Emiya. My girlfriend Kurumi Ĺtsutsuki and our dog Zed." Yuto said introducing themselves.
"What's your name miss?" Ellen asks politely.
"Oh, my what a polite child. Well little one my name is Sarasa." The now named Sarasa said.
"Nice to meet you and thanks for giving us shelter for the night." Kurumi said as they start drinking the tea.
"This is good tea. Jasmine, right?" Yuto asks as he was a bit of a tea connoisseur and had a nice tea collection at home.
"Yes. A warm tea is the best medicine for this cold." She said.
"Yes, but are you all alone?" He asks being curious.
"My family died a long time ago. We had to leave our village as a monster called the Kubitori attacked." She said shocking them.
"I see. Sorry for your lost." Yuto said giving her condolences, but he can tell that there is something off about her. Kurumi, Zed, Daito, and Ellen could also tell as well.
"It's a pretty bad storm." Yuto comments upon looking outside.
"Stay here for the night. Once the storm has died down you can go." She said.
"Are you sure?" Yuto asks as he stares at her getting a bad feeling about this.
"Yes, it's fine. I would enjoy having some company." Sarasa said with a bewitching smile. Yuto looks at Kurumi, Zed, and finally Ellen before deciding.
"In that case thank you very much. In exchange I'll make dinner and breakfast." Yuto said causing Kurumi, Zed, and Ellen to start drooling a bit.
"You don't have to do that." Sarasa said in response.
"Trust me you'll want Yuto to cook. His cooking is amazing." Kurumi said smiling.
"Yep! Daddy's cooking is the best!" Ellen cheers as Zed barks in agreement.
"I see. Then in that case please make us dinner Yuto." Sarasa asks still smiling.
"Sure." Yuto said getting up and putting Ellen down while placing a kiss on her forehead causing her to giggle in delight. He then went into the kitchen and puts an apron on as he starts cooking.
"So, Kurumi how did you meet Yuto?" Sarasa asks making conversation.
"Long story short I was held prisoner because of people's greed and lust for power with one man freeing me but he used something to take control of my mind and forced me to attack the village I was held prisoner in. After he was defeated, I was then placed into a new prison where I eventually met a neglected child who was called a monster, a demon, and a failure through no fault of his own and an old man named Zelretch. Zelretch managed to free me, and I decided to watch over that child. That child was Yuto." Kurumi said with a slightly sad smile at remembering the past.
"I see." Sarasa said with a frown upon hearing Kurumi's story.
"Hey mama Kurumi?" Ellen asks Kurumi.
"Yes, Ellen?" Kurumi asks her daughter.
"Do you think grandma, grandpa, aunt Tenten, and the other mamas will like me?" Ellen asks a little insecure causing Kurumi to pick her up and give her a reassuring hug.
"Of course, they will." Kurumi said reassuring Ellen while rubbing her back.
"Other mamas?" Sarasa questions as she narrows her eyes.
"I and some other women are sharing Yuto." Kurumi admits.
"How many and why?" Sarasa asks in disbelief.
"Including me there are five of us, but I think two more will join us in the future. There might also be more in the future." Kurumi said.
"As the why there are several reasons. He's handsome, kind, smart, charming, a great cook, a great singer, has loads of stamina, is the last known male of a noble Clan, and despite it being only a couple days since he adopted Ellen, he has shown himself as a good father." Kurumi said causing Sarasa to blush a bit in agreement that Yuto is handsome despite that visor covering some of his face and charming. Her blush then increases when Kurumi said Yuto had loads of stamina as she knows as to what that can be used for.
"Plus, he does have a wonderful dream." Kurumi said catching Sarasa's and Ellen's attention.
"What's daddy's dream?" Ellen asks curiously.
"An ideal world without hatred or war. That is what he is fighting for." Kurumi said with a soft smile.
"Wow! Daddy's dream is so cool!" Ellen exclaims with stars in her eyes upon hearing her daddy's dream.
"While it does sound wonderful it is also an impossible dream to achieve." Sarasa said with her eyes close.
"While it does seem impossible now and Yuto knows that he can't accomplish it now but that's why he wants to be a symbol." Kurumi said.
"A symbol?" Sarasa asks.
"A symbol of hope that promises a better tomorrow for all will come one day. A hope that the cycles of hatred and war will never happen and plague us ever again." Kurumi said surprising Sarasa and Ellen.
"That's a noble goal." Sarasa said softly with a bit of awe.
"Here's dinner." Yuto said bringing out what he made. Kurumi, Ellen, Zed, and even Sarasa start drooling when they got a whiff of the food. After the food was dished out they started eating.
"Amazing! This is so good!" Sarasa said as she couldn't believe at what she's tasting.
"Thanks. Luckily you have some good quantity ingredients and spices, so it helps made things easier." Yuto said wavering off her compliment.
"I can see why five possibly seven women are with you." Sarasa said teasing Yuto a bit causing him to blush a bit.
"Kurumi told you, didn't she?" Yuto asks already knowing the answer.
"She did. I didn't take you as some kind of womanizer stealing the hearts of all young maiden." Sarasa said in a fake scared tone that was offset by a teasing grin causing Yuto to get a little angry at being called a womanizer.
"I am not a womanizer. It's not my fault that some women fall for me." Yuto said defending himself.
"Um yeah it is Yuto. After all, for example your cooking is one of the reasons why a woman could fall for you." Kurumi said also teasing Yuto as well causing him to deflate a bit.
"Seriously? Even you are picking on me now Kurumi?" Yuto mutters feeling a little betrayed.
"Stop picking on Daddy." Ellen commandingly said with her face hidden.
"Thanks Ellen." Yuto said petting his daughter on her head before she shows her face with a mischievous grin.
"After all he is weak to us girls." Ellen said teasing her daddy as well.
"I am not! And really Ellen? You too?" Yuto said in surprise that his daughter was joining in teasing him too.
"Oh really? When Ellen asked you for another bedtime story and another one after that you couldn't help but give in when she gave you puppy dog eyes." Kurumi said as she raises an eyebrow. Yuto tries to say something, but he hangs his head in defeat. Ellen then hugs her daddy.
"It's alright daddy. We know you are only weak to me, Mama Kurumi, Zed, and the other mamas." Ellen said reassuring her daddy.
"Not to mention Kagome and Tenten." Kurumi said.
"Who?" Sarasa asks.
"My adopted mother and sister." Yuto said with a fond smile.
"I can't wait to meet grandma, grandpa, and auntie!" Ellen said with a great big smile causing everyone to chuckle a bit at her cuteness.
"I'm sure they'll be happy to meet you, Ellen." Yuto said innerly grimacing as his mother has been teasingly asking him when she should expect grandchildren from him before he left on his trip. Tenten would join in as well by asking her when she should expect nieces and nephews from him but then Yuto would turn it onto her by asking her the same which causes their mother to turn her attention on her. After a few times of it happening to her she and Yuto silently agreed to never again to do it to each other again.
After eating dinner, it was time for bed and instead of a story Yuto decides to sing a song instead for Ellen to help her fall asleep.
(Play This is a Beautiful World by Aaron Brotherton but think of the song being sung like a lullaby)
Every day we just keep going through the motions and we don't know why
Seems like we never stop to take the time to know this life as it goes by
But there's a whole world out there, it's a miracle to see -
Like the colors of the rainbow, it's a living symphony
So, open your eyes
It's easy to do
Just take the time
And look around you
Never forget:
This is a beautiful world
Do we really celebrate the beauty that surrounds us every single day
Or ever realize the gifts that we've been given might just go away?
We can't let it happen, it's up to you and me
We've got to work together, it's our responsibility
So open your eyes
It's easy to do
Just take the time
And look around you
Never forget:
This is a beautiful world
There's a whole world out there
Be thankful everyday
And grateful for the magic
It touches us so many ways
So, open your eyes
It's easy to do
Just take the time
And look around you
Never forget:
This is a beautiful world (Oh, yeah)
So, open your eyes
It's easy to do
Just take the time
And look around you
Never forget:
This is a beautiful world
Just take the time
And open your eyes
Never forget:
This is a beautiful world
It's a beautiful world, oh
Oh, just open your eyes
This is a beautiful world
It's a beautiful world
(End song)
Yuto stops singing and sees that Ellen was asleep and she was cuddling with a sleeping Zed.
"Good she's asleep." Yuto whispers with a smile. He didn't think he would be a father so early in his life, but he doesn't regret it.
"I better make sure I prepare for her future." Yuto said quietly as he has to make sure she has a good school to go to as he wants her to have the best education possible though Daito did tell him that her immortality will eventually slowly dissipates which is fine as it gives him and her more time to spend together and she can spend more time as the child she is supposed to be. Which reminds him that he should ask Yui if she can help with Ellen's magic studies. Kurumi dressed in pair of normal pajamas then enters the room Sarasa lent them for the night coming from the bath.
"She's asleep." Kurumi said quietly as Yuto gently makes sure she is properly covered. Kurumi smiles lovingly at them.
'If he keeps this up, I might try and get a baby from him as soon as possible.' Kurumi thinks as she blushes and sightly shifts in place as thoughts of her and Yuto having sex pops into her head as thanks to her connection to him in her seal, she has been peeping on him through his eyes when he takes a bath or shower, so she knows that he is very large for someone his age.
Yuto looks at Kurumi and sees she had a massive blush on her face and was slightly drooling.
"Kurumi are you ok?" Yuto asks slightly worried as he had a feeling on what is on her mind. He really hopes that he is wrong bur if he wasn't wrong, he hopes she doesn't try to jump him right now with Ellen in the room as that would be bad. Kurumi snaps out of it.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Kurumi said sheepishly. "The bath is free now."
"Alright then I will go take one then." Yuto said pulling out some clothes from Daito's storage and taking off the visor and gauntlets. After placing them down he went to go take a bath.
