Chapter 21: Battle of Legend

Kiritsugu and Tohsaka continued their sprint down the road, the former occasionally shooting a glance behind them to see if Zouken's familiars were following, when he was confident enough that Maiya would be able to inform him he turned back to Tohsaka.

"What did your Church contact say?" He asked, a hurried tone considering their new circumstances, a feeling that Rin obviously shared considering her frazzled look.

"He said he will have to inform the Mages Association." She replied, a downright frightful look on her face "He can aid us with Zouken, but he will need Berserker removed first."

"Tch." Kiritsugu clicked his tongue, mulling over his options before he steeled his mind "We will need to kill Berserker's master."

"What!?" Rin balked shooting him a glare "But she-"

"Is already under Zouken's thumb." He shot back instantly "And neither myself nor the executors will be able to get near Zouken while his servant still lives."

Rin bit her lip, looking to the side for a few moments before she loot loose a heavy sigh "Just...give Archer time to get Berserker...or get Illya and Miyu, with their combined effort, they could probably take him."

"Probably." Kiritsugu replied "Not certainly. And I will not risk my daughters life on-"

Further argument was cut short when Archer dropped down near them, looking worse for wear with multiple bruises on his person and dried blood on his outfit.

"Archer?" Rin looked relieved "If you're here-"

"Berserker was recalled." He cut her off "Its the only reason I'm still alive." he looked around frowning "Where's Illya?"

"Illya?" Kiritsugu blinked "Why would she-…" he widened his eyes, snapping his attention back to the direction of the Matou house "She went after Zouken!?" he went to his ear "Maiya, any sign of movement at the Matou house?"

"Negative." The woman replied "The familiars have all been recalled, nor has there been further movement since your escape."

Kiritsugu frowned, turning back to the other two "Illya hasn't gone near the Matou manor."

Archer frowned "That's not right, my link said she was-"

'Archer! You have to come back now! Onii-chan! He's fighting a servant!' Illya's desperate cry came into his head moments later, his eyes widened in alarm and he shot a look back down the street. Kiritsugu and Rin followed his gaze and saw flashes of golden light in the streets below them.

"Shirou is fighting a servant." Archer announced "Withdraw back to the house. I'll do what I can." he left before either of them could reply.

He was frowning, the timing didn't match up. He was still fighting Berserker long before Illya had been in danger, and apparently she'd never reached the Matou household either. Which meant the possibility of another Servant, and he was in no shape to fight either.

What he needed was a better position so he could actually live up to his class name.

Shirou recoiled, the shock of the impacts against his body had him stumbling backwards, despite having suffered no physical damage, the actual power behind the swords and spears being launched at him was more than enough to give him pause.

"Chloe!" He shouted at the younger girl, heaving his slab sword to use as a makeshift shield "Get them out of here!" he nodded at the group she had thrown up Rho Aias to protect, she sent him a shocked look and made to argue back when he shouted at her "NOW!"

She winced, but nodded back to him, albeit hesitantly.

"Removing the audience so as to go all out against me?" The Golden Archer mocked, sneer still on his face "How very Noble of you...However." his red eyes turned on the retreating figures "I did not give permission for you to leave my sight." several portals opened up, firing off axes and spears at Irisviel and the maids.

Shirou widened his eyes in alarm, throwing himself across the road in front of the weapons, the axe and spear slammed into his side, shattering instantly doing no damage. The sword however, went straight through his leg. Shirou released a cry of pain, much to Irisviels distress, the woman pausing and letting out a strangled gasp of horror.

"Onii-ch-" Illya widened her eyes in alarm, rushing to him.

"Get out of here Illya!" He cut her off, rising to his feet as the sword disappeared into golden motes and the wound in his leg steamed over. The pain still afflicted him however, he was hissing in-between breaths.

"So that's how it is…" The Golden servant spoke to himself "It seems you are not as immune to my treasures as you appear." he sighed "As wasteful as it is, it seems only my finest will do to bring you down." he lazily raised a hand before his eyes snapped to his side, jumping away just before Miyu could land a blow on him. "You should know your place, Mongrel." he scowled at her, a portal opened up right in front of the girl and shot forth a rather large hammer.

Miyu raised Excalibur to act as a guard just before the weapon made impact, the sheer force behind the blow sent her flying down the street and through a wall, releasing a choked breath as the air was knocked from her lungs.

"Miyu!" Illya screamed in horror, rushing towards her friend.

"Illya!" Shirou's cry of despair had her stop her advance, turning in his direction onto to see a dozen golden portals aimed at her, the mocking visage of the Golden Archer staring her down.

"...eh?" Was all she could release before the weapons were fired forth, Illya released a scream and threw up her hands just as a shadow fell over her, followed by a deafening explosion.

The others had only just begun to retreat when Illya was consumed by the explosion, Irisviel felt her heart stop and it was only Sella and Leysritt holding her back that prevented her from sprinting towards her daughter. As the smoke cleared, the image of Shirou, impaled with an assortment of weapons came into view, his body still hunched over Illya as a shield.

"...O-onii-chan?" Illya whispered out, Shirou's glazed over eyes stared back at her, she gradually looked down to the spear which had lanced through his collarbone and stopped just shy of her chest. "O-ONII-CHAN!" she cried out in gut wrenching horror at his injuries reaching out towards him when the Archer called out again.

"You should cease wailing doll. While appropriate, your grief is far too early." He sounded more bored than anything else, Illya was overcome with rage and moved to stand up when Shirou's body glowed red. She gaped at him as his eyes once more burned with life and he gradually stood back up to his full height, the weapons vanishing from his body and the wounds on him healing rapidly.

The Golden servant stared at Shirou, unperturbed by his resurrection before a smirk came to his face "I'm tired of Heroes who refused to fall when cut or burned, but I have never seen one truly return from the dead." Shirou scowled, tensing his body as the servant went on, grinning the whole time "It would seem the Noble Phantasm you stole has allows you to rise after dying, it is a Noble Phantasm I do not posses." two portals fired off weapons, Shirou swung the slab sword up, shattering the first while the second slammed into his shoulder, going right through and sending him stumbling backwards.

He grit his teeth at the pain, he wanted nothing more than to run away. But he knew he couldn't the minute he turned his back the servant would just gun him down, or worse he would focus on Illya and the others. With the class card, he presented a greater threat, thus the servant would focus on him and Illya could escape.

"I suppose that places me at a disadvantage." The Golden servant spoke in a mocking tone "A faker and a thief who does not know when to die is most vexing." he scowled "An even greater crime is forcing me to use my finer treasures to end you."

Shirou kicked off the ground, closing the distance between himself and the servant in barely a second, swinging his weapon down towards the Servants head. Red eyes stared at him unimpressed before something slammed into his chest, Shirou felt his ribs crack under the blow and the oxygen was forced from his lungs, shooting back up the street and smashing into the ground. His eyes looking down to see a war hammer disappear into golden motes.

"The Hero you stole from seems to be unyielding, perhaps the pinnacle of human perseverance." He swept a hand behind him as Shirou got back to his feet, using the slab sword as a crutch, and more portals formed "My treasury, however, is the opposite. Nearly infinite and the pinnacle of overwhelming force." weapons emerged, Shirou's senses were screaming at him that these posed a genuine danger to him "Your stolen skill of revival is bound to be limited, so let us see how many times you need to be put down." he grinned "You may yet stand a chance against me however…" his eyes flickered over to Illya, Shirou caught his meaning as more portals opened up "That would depend on whether or not you would risk the dolls life."

"You won't go near her." Shirou growled out, moving in front of Illya, sending a glance her way "Ruby, take her and go!"

"B-but what about-" Illya made to argue when Shirou cut her off a second time.

"Go Illya!"

"Arrogant of you to believe I would allow her to escape." The Golden servant spoke up "You wished to protect her? Then prove your ability to, unless your resolve is as stolen as that card you wield." he laughed, shooting forward dozens of weapons with little accuracy, half aimed at Shirou while the others were aimed at Illya.

It was at this point where both Illya and Shirou realised that the servant would allow neither of them to escape him.

"We have to help them!" Irisviel cried out as Sella continued to drag her away "Let me-"

"It would be pointless." Bazett interrupted her, sending a fleeting glance behind them as the explosions continued "We stand no chance against them, and I will be dead before I could use my trump card." she muttered, expression strained. She looked to Luvia "Explain the situation to me."

"Miyu?" Chloe looked in surprise as the girl stumbled towards them, looking dazed, still wielding the Saber card.

"H-huh?" She blinked looking up and seeing Chloe staring at her in surprise, she instinctively scowled at the sight of the girl, shaking her head and looking around "Where is Illyasviel and On-...Shirou?"

"They have been cut off, still fighting the Servant." Luvia explained to her, biting her thumb "We need Archer but against that servant...he was firing Noble Phantasms as if they were trash!"

"Where did he even come from!?" Irisviel whirled on the girl, expression one of fury "You said all the cards were collected! Where did a servant even come from and how!?"

"How would I know!" Luvia replied with equal volume "This is too ludicrous! That servant being here is just as shocking to me as it is to you!" she turned to Bazett "Would you be willing to postpone the issue with the class cards for the time being?"

"I have little choice." Bazett admitted "With that servant here, collecting the cards is no longer a priority. Even if I attempted to do so, I likely would be killed in the crossfire."

"I'm going to help Illya." Miyu announced marching past, Chloe blinked in surprise and held out a hand in front of her.

"Whoa there. That isn't a very smart thing to do."

"Move."

"So you can go and get yourself killed? Are you dumb."

"I'm not leaving Illya alone to fight the servant. Move."

"Yeah, servant." Chloe reiterated "As in super powerful guy that puts even Archer to shame. He'll spare you perhaps a passing glance before he kills you, if you're lucky."

"I'm not leaving Illya." Miyu glared at her "Move."

"Is everyone around here hiding a secret death wish or something!?" Chloe growled, throwing up her hands "Wait for Arche-"

"You just want to leave Illya to die." Miyu interrupted her, causing the girls eyes to go wide and step back in shock.

"Wh-"

"You seem to enjoy making Illya suffer." she barged past Chloe, barely sparing her a second glance "No surprise you would leave her to fight a servant."

"Now wait just a-"

Further arguments were cut off when a black blur collided with the street behind them. The group turned around as the smoke cleared, revealing a shadowy armoured figure, red visor titled up before it locked onto Miyu, the warped blade in its hand groaning as the servant's grip on it tightened exponentially.

"Another servant!?" Luvia cried in shock, stepping back.

The shadowed knights body began to tremble violently as it glared at Miyu, the girl stepped back, tightening her grip on Excalibur.

The servant threw his arms wide, releasing a roar of rage.

"Step back!" Bazett shouted, rushing to the front of the group, upholstering the tube from her shoulder.

"AAAARRRRTTTTHHHHUUUURRRR!" Berserker screamed the name with such venom that Miyu felt her heart stop, the servant was entirely focused on her because of the card. Any thoughts that she could eject it and escape the servants rage disappeared in an instant.

As did Berserker.

The servant vanishing in a blur, in one moment being at least fifty metres from the girl and in the next was directly in front of her.

"...Eh?" Miyu released a small noise of surprise as the glowing red visor of the servant occupied her vision, empty hand formed into a fist and cocked back. Time seemed to slow down for her as the expressions of everyone around her changed into ones of horror, the moment was one of absolute stillness, Miyu could only watch, unable to move as Berserker's fist rocketed towards her midsection before it slammed into her gut with all the force of a freight train, her eyes bulged as the air was literally knocked from her lungs along with spit, the force of the punch creating a cannon like boom as she blasted into the air.

"Mi-!" She never heard the rest of Luvia's cry as she flew outside of her range of hearing, Berserker tearing off after her in a blur of motion, screaming the whole time.

"Oh damn!" Chloe cursed, shooting a glance at Sella and Leysritt "Get Irisviel back to the house! I'm going after Miyu!"

"Not alone you aren't." Luvia announced, stepping up next to her, swiftly followed by Bazett.

"Wait, why are you here?" Chloe looked at her in confusion, tilting her head to the side.

"It is still a servant." She replied, her leather gloves creaked as she tightened her hands into a fist, the runes activating and causing her fists to glow with a subtle hue "And even with your abilities with the Archer card, you will not be able to defeat it."

"...Right? That doesn't answ-"

"I cannot collect the class card if you die and the servant takes it." She replied, then sprinted off in the direction Miyu had been punched. Chloe and Luvia watched her run before they shared a sigh of exasperation and taking off after her.

"Chloe!" The tanned girl stopped briefly, looking over her shoulder at Irisviel, the woman clutching her chest with a desperate look. "Be careful."

Chloe gave her an archer like smirk before she returned to her run.

Archer landed on the nearby house as he overlooked chaos, his eyes instantly went to the golden portals firing off Noble Phantasms at Shirou, the boy having installed the Berserker card and desperately protecting a wounded Illya.

His heart rate quickened as he realised just how serious the situation was, that wasn't some desperate magus with some forgotten class card. That was Gilgamesh, the Servant. And despite the Berserker cards endurance, it meant nothing in the face of Gate of Babylon which could call forth peerless weapons and use them as projectiles.

Archer traced his bow, pulling back an arrow and lining up his target with the back of the blonde servants head before he fired.

The arrow got to within a few feet of him before golden lightning destroyed it. His eyes widened and then went to a small floating orb just behind him, the lightning having been shot forth from the seemingly mundane metal device.

Instinctively he fired forth a dozen more arrows, all of which were intercepted by the orb.

Halting his attack on Shirou, Gilgamesh looked over his shoulder, his red eyes locked onto the form of Archer nearly a kilometre away. His lip contorted into a scowl before several portals opened up and fired at him, producing several curved swords which flew at him, leaving a coloured trail behind them as they flew through the air towards him.

Archer scowled, jumping away and firing off more arrows, gritting his teeth when he saw the curved weapons follow him as he dodged and weaved.

Gilgamesh watched the second Faker dodge his treasures with an expression of annoyance "Is this world populated with Fakers?" he asked rhetorically, turning his attention back to the thief just in time to see his rage filled expression charge him again.

Shirou hefted the slab above his head and slammed in into the ground in front of him, chunks of concrete were thrown into the air as the road cratered under the force of the blow, slamming his foot down and pivoting his body. Shirou swung the flat end of the giant weapon like a bat, colliding with the debris in the air and sending it shooting towards the golden servant like a buckshot.

Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow, a shield came into existence in front of him as the sub-sonic debris crashed into his location, obscuring him from sight and leaving gashes in the road and surrounding walls.

Shirou made to charge again when a golden light caught his eye, turning on heel, he shot back towards Illya, throwing the weapon in his hands up like a shield to cover both their bodies just in time to block several swords and spears.

"Ruby!" Shirou shouted at the code "Why is Illya still here!?"

"She's too wounded to move!" Ruby cried out, Shirou looked down and saw the large gash in the side of her body, the bleeding had stopped courtesy of the mystic code erecting a small shield around it, however the impact was still felt if Illya's pained expression were any indication "It happened when we first encountered that guy!"

Shirou grit his teeth, making to argue again when a spear slammed into the back of his body, he coughed out blood as the weapon went straight through his lung, covering Illya's face with the red liquid, much to her growing horror.

"You fling dirt and then turn your back on me?" The voice of the Golden servant came forth as the dust settled, his expression deceptively blank save the burning rage in his eyes "You have some nerve, Mongrel." he waved his arms as another golden burst of lightning detonated something behind his back. "Tch, am I to be harassed by worthless fakes?"

Shirou could only suspect it was Archer as the spear disappeared from his body and the wound healed up. He was panting heavily, he needed to get Illya away while she was wounded, however the Servant was continually targetting her to prevent Shirou from pressing any attack.

He was also running out of lives, the small miracle the Card granted him was indeed not infinite, he had a number floating in his head that he could return six times.

He had already died three times in this fight alone and made little progress save annoying the servant. He looked between Illya and the enemy Servant, biting his lip as sweat trailed down his forehead.

He needed to get Illya out of here, or at the very least give her an opportunity to flee.

Any further thoughts of planning disappeared when the sky above him turned gold, nearly two dozen portals turned downwards with the tips of weapons emerging from them.

He came to a horrifying conclusion.

The servant was going to strafe the whole street. Shirou immediately threw the weapon above them was the weapons shot downwards, his legs buckled under the force of multiple impacts against the makeshift shield.

The weapons stopped falling, instead the sound of metal impacting metal filled his ears, lowering the sword, Shirou saw the weapons being shot at him intercepted by copies, he looked to the left to see Archer perched on a nearby tree, his hand extended outwards and more blades forming above his shoulders.

"I was curious as to when you would stop skulking like a common rat." The Golden servant sneered at Archer.

"I apologise, I'm not suited to withstanding a barrage of your treasures, King of Heroes."

"Hmph." The Golden servant grunted, crossing his arm "No matter. It will serve me some amusement to see you die." red eyes travelled back to Shirou "The task of expunging weeds from a garden would be better suited to a gardener, however I shall be magnanimous and tend to this feat myself."

"Brat." Archer called out to him, the black and white swords forming in his hands "Get the girl out of here."

"I think not."

Gilgamesh snapped his fingers, opening nearly a dozen portals behind Illya, Shirou and Archer widened their eyes in alarm with the former instantly throwing his body over Illya as a shield.

The girl let out a startled cry as Shirou became a pincushion of swords, spears and axes.

"That makes number four, thief." Gilgamesh smirked "You appear to be running out of lives." his smirk disappeared in an instant and he let loose a barrage against Archer, as Shirou was revived yet again, he noted that the servant was using more weapons against Archer then he had against him and Illya.

"I Am The Bone Of My Sword." Archer chanted, preparing to use his Reality Marble, the only thing he could do to match Gilgamesh.

"Attempting to send me to that wretched place?" Gilgamesh sneered, Archer internally froze "I think not, Faker." Gilgamesh was aware of his Reality Marble? How?

He didn't have much time to think on it as more portals opened, Archer was dancing inbetween the weapons, Kanshou and Bakuya gliding through the air as he blocked the ones he couldn't dodge. He grit his teeth as the barrage intensified.

Gilgamesh leapt away from where he had been standing, the bored expression he had never left his face, moments after he did, the slab sword Shirou was wielding slammed into the ground where he had been.

"It seems you wish to fulfil the role of Mad dog." Gilgamesh spoke as he landed back on the ground with surprising grace "Very well. If that is how you wish things to be, thief, then I shall put you down like one."

"-llya!" The white haired girl was only vaguely aware of what was going on. Wiping her hand over her face and drawing it back. It was red.

Why was it-?

Oh...right...it was Onii-chan's blood. He'd gotten hurt when he protected her...but he got back up…

Her eyes trailed over to where Onii-chan and Archer were fighting the golden servant, the sound was muffled, as if she had placed a pillow over her head, although she could feel the impacts of projectiles slamming into the ground, the street would occasionally shake or dirt would be flung past her.

She could feel a slight burning sensation in her side, her eyes went down to the area to see the cut she'd gotten earlier from the Servant. She could barely feel it, like a subtle sensation of pins and needles around her body.

"-lya! You have to listen to me!" There was that voice again, she recognised it...Ruby, that was it. Ruby. "Illya! Listen to me! We have to get out of here!"

"...Huh?" Illya blearily looked down to Ruby, furrowing her brows as what the mystic code registered, leave? Why would she need to…

Ah. She'd gotten hurt. That made sense...but then Miyu also got hurt, she'd seen her get struck by a hammer. Illya pressed her hands into the ground, using what little strength she could muster to push herself up. Gritting her teeth as the burning sensation in her side intensified, straining herself as she got back to her feet, only to stumble and fall back on her side.

She let out a groan, exhaling through her teeth, she looked up just in time to see Shirou take a spear to his face, he had ducked his head to the side fast enough to avoid it, but not fast enough to avoid the tip which sliced a large line across his left cheek.

Red eyes trailed over to Archer, swinging the black sword up to block a projectile, only for it to shatter on impact with a sword and slam into his shoulder. She could see every time he tried to say something the weapons would focus on him.

In the middle of all the chaos was the golden servant, still grinning as if he was watching something amusing, occasionally he would make a small motion with his hand and the portals would change position. Neither Archer nor Shirou could get anywhere near the golden servant as he continued to fire off weapons at them.

Shirou...Onii-chan...he'd gotten hurt because he had to protect her.

He was...he was dying and coming back just to protect her…

She grit her teeth, forcing power into her arms and legs, pushing herself back to her feet. It took what felt like hours for her to stand up, face awash with righteous fury, all directed at the Servant would had hurt her brother and her friend for his own amusement.

Illya tightened her grip on Ruby, the mystic code let out a breath of relief "You're back on you're feet, good." Ruby nodded to herself "Listen Illya, we need to get out of here while-"

"No." Illya replied, Ruby sputtered.

"W-what!?" The mystic code whirled around to face Illya "What do you mean 'no'!? Listen Illya! I'm all for being a hero! But if you try to fight this servant you will die!" she got in Illya's face "Do you understand that!? You will die! Zouken was something different because he is still just a magus and one from a dying family! The class cards were something different because even if you didn't have Archer to back you up, they could still be taken out! This is a servant Illya! A full on Servant like Archer and apparently much more powerful!"

"I don't care." Illya retorted, tensing her body "Ruby. We're going to beat him up."

"What!?"

"I don't care about anything else." Illya replied, floating into the air "He hurt Archer. He hurt Miyu. He hurt Onii-chan." she growled "He's going to keep hurting people. So I'm going to stop him." she looked at Ruby, the barest hints of a smile on her face "Because I'm a magical girl, and he's evil."

Ruby stared at Illya in silence for a few moments before she huffed, giving way to an amused laugh "You're crazy. But then, maybe that's a good thing." she shook her head "Just so you know, after we beat this guy up, I want everyone to know that I personally wanted us to escape."

"Its alright Ruby." Illya shook her head, turning back to the Golden servant with narrowed eyes "Now, lets go."

"As you wish, Illya-chan!"

"Is this all you can do Faker?" Gilgamesh smirked as Archer fired off several swords above his head to intercept the swords from Gate of Babylon, Archer was panting, cuts lining his body.

This was bad. Gilgamesh was keeping him occupied and not giving him enough time to call forth his reality marble. Worse was that he was aware of it already, somehow. Which meant he was also aware of just how to dispel it.

And if Gilgamesh wasn't planning on being arrogant, there was nothing Archer would be able to do against that sword. His grey eyes snapped to Shirou.

The boy was looking better, but only because he had been revived several times. He was small enough that he could use Berserkers sword as a shield, but that was it. He couldn't get close enough to Gilgamesh to use his strength and he hadn't been trained to use his projection magecraft yet. Also despite looking better, he could already see the tell-tale signs that he was beginning to tire. Worse was his sluggish movement.

It would seem that the Class Card had limitations to it after all.

Gilgamesh turned to look down at Shirou, his expression turned blank "You still cling to life?" he sighed, as if the entire affair was becoming more of an inconvenience to him "Your execution was to be mere sport before I dealt with the mad dog, but its proven to be tiresome."

Shirou growled, lifting up the sword and slamming his foot into the ground, pivoting his body so as he could throw himself forwards into a thrust.

Archer likewise re-traced his weapons, several hovering behind him as Gilgamesh looked between the two of them with no small amount of disdain.

He opened his mouth to speak, when he suddenly tilted his head to the side, a second later a pink lance of mana shot past his head, barely even touching him. His eyes narrowed dangerously while Shirou and Archer's widened in shock as their heads snapped back to the direction it had come from.

Illya floated above the ground, Ruby still extended outwards following the attack with a frown on her face.

"Illya!?/Master!?" Shirou and Archer cried out in equal parts bewilderment and horror.

"So you return to your feet, doll?" Gilgamesh tilted his head "And you dare to rise above me?" the corner of his lips twitched upwards "Perhaps this shall be amusing after all. You are special to the vessel, so I assume she will be most horrified to see your broken body dumped before her." he looked off in the direction of a distant boom "Provided she survives against the mad dog." he added on.

Archer figured that must mean that someone encountered Berserker. Although he wasn't sure what Gilgamesh meant by Vessel, unless he was referring to Irisviel.

"I'm going to stop you here!" Illya cried out, Ruby glowing pink with magical energy "And you won't hurt anyone ever again!"

"Fool! If they are injured in pursuit of the Kings justice, that is acceptable." Gilgamesh scoffed at her, looking between Archer and Shirou and then to Illya before he let loose a short burst of laughter "Fwahahahahaha! I truly am surrounded by frauds!" his laughter died down, a frown replacing his smile "Imitations of the real thing crafted by fakes themselves." he held his hand up, the street behind him shone gold as multiple portals opened up "Scum." he spat out the word "It sickens me that this should be my first sight on this world. Mongrels with naught to offer the world but forgeries of their betters."

"Stop saying big words!" Illya shouted, Archer would have laughed if he wasn't downright horrified at who she was screaming at.

Gilgamesh stared at her, expression flat for several seconds before he uttered a single word. "Die."

Archer threw himself from his perch and landed in front of Shirou, throwing his arm out in front of him as the portals shone a brilliant gold.

"I Am The Bone Of My Sword!" Illya seemed to realise what he was doing and flew down to land next to him "Rho Aias!"

The seven petalled flower shield appeared in front of him just at the weapons were shot forth. He grit his teeth as they smashed into the projection, the first layer began to crack under the intense fire.

He was worried about what Gilgamesh had said about the Vessel, however he couldn't worry about that right now, he was also aware that he was now in a perfect position to deploy his reality marble. With any luck, Gilgamesh wouldn't draw that sword.

It was all he could hope for.

AN: Yo!

So…bit of bad news first. Spacebattles took down this story on their site for moderator reasons. So...any of my readers who are also on spacebattles, that's a big yikes.

Anyway! Yes!

Shirou got his ass beat! Because lets face it, Gilgamesh took down Heracles himself when the guy was a proper Servant and not a class card. Shirou can basically use his sword as a shield and regenerate after death a few times and that's it.

Miyu getting punted is fun. And we'll be covering that fight in the next chapter.

So tune in next time for the continuation! Only on Fox Kids!

*Edit for those curious it was flagged on SB for review for underage stuff.
