An: So, this story is the sequel to my previous crossover story, Twilight Sparkle and the Sorcerer's Stone. After writing dozens of stories, I've finally decided to write a crossover story based on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I hope you like my new story.

Chapter 1

Spike the Dragon

It was another dark night in Ponyville, and Twilight Sparkle stayed in her room, reading one of her spell books as her pet owl, Owlowiscious sat in his cage. The purple unicorn soon took her eyes off her book as she looked over to a picture of herself standing next to her two best friends, Applejack and Rarity. Just looking at the picture brought back happy memories for Twilight. It felt like only yesterday when she found out that she was a witch and learned magic at Canterlot School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Twilight was soon startled out of her thoughts as she heard her pet flapping his wings, desperately trying to get out of his cage. Not wanting her family to hear anything, Twilight tried to calm her pet down.

"Shh! Owlowiscious, you have to be quiet or-"

"Twilight Sparkle, get down here!" roared an angry voice from downstairs.

With a sigh, Twilight sent an annoyed look towards Owlowiscious. "Well, now you've done it!"

Reluctantly, Twilight made her way downstairs where she met up with her uncle, Filthy Rich, her aunt, Spoiled Rich, and her cousin, Diamond Tiara. The family invited a couple of guests over, so Filthy Rich wore a fancy suit, while Spoiled Rich and Diamond Tiara wore dresses. As Twilight reached the bottom of the stairs, she was met with a glare from her uncle.

"I'm warning you! You'd better keep that bird of yours under control!" Filthy yelled, annoyed with Twilight's pet.

"But Uncle Filthy, Owlowiscious has been in his cage all day! Can I please just let him out for a few minutes?" Twilight begged.

Filthy shook his head. "Absolutely not! It is really important that we make a good impression for our guests tonight and we don't need any trouble from your pet. Now, let's go over what we're going to do once our guests arrive."

"I'm going to offer them my best meals!" Spoiled replied.

"And I'm going to offer to hang up their coats as they enter the door." Diamond Tiara said with a smile.

"Excellent!" Filthy smiled, satisfied with his family's responses. His smile soon faded as he faced Twilight. "And as for you?"

With a sigh, Twilight replied, "I'm going to stay in my room and stay out of the way."

"Good. Now go to your room."

Not wanting to be with her family any longer, Twilight marched upstairs with the intent to finish reading her spell book before going to sleep. The purple unicorn opened her door and was surprised to find out that she was not alone. Sitting on her bed was a small purple dragon with green scales.

The dragon stared at Twilight in surprise before he jumped off the bed and exclaimed, "Twilight Sparkle! It's so nice to finally meet you!"

It took a while for Twilight to process what she was seeing. After a few moments, Twilight finally found her voice.

"Uh, I'm sorry, but who are you?"

"Oh, right! My name is Spike!" the dragon introduced. "I came all the way here to warn you about something."

Twilight closed her door before turning to talk to the dragon "Listen. No offense, but now is not the best time for a dragon to be in my room. If my uncle finds out about this, I would be in so much trouble."

"I won't stay long." Spike promised. "I just need to warn you about a danger that's going on at Canterlot."

The purple unicorn stared at Spike concerned. "Danger? What kind of danger?"

"I can't really say. I'm not even supposed to be here. If my master finds out that I was gone, he would be furious. You just need to know that you can't go back to Canterlot."

Twilight couldn't believe what she was hearing. After everything that had happened durning her time at Canterlot, she couldn't even think about staying away.

"Spike, I have to go back. Canterlot is my home! I have friends there who care about me."

"Friends who don't even send you letters?" Spike asked.

"I haven't gotten any letters, but I'm sure that they-" Twilight paused before staring at Spike in suspicion. "Wait. How did you know that my friends didn't send me any letters?"

The young dragons eyes widened in surprise as he realized that he had been found out.

"Listen, Twilight. Promise you won't get mad, but I've kind of been keeping the letters with me the whole time." Spike revealed a sack full of letters.

Suddenly, it all made sense to Twilight. She should have known that her friends wouldn't ignore her on purpose. She soon sent a glare towards the purple dragon.

"Give me the letters, Spike!" Twilight demanded.

Instead of listening, Spike swiped the back of letters in his claw before running downstairs, to which Twilight immediately gave chase. She reached the bottom of the stairs to find her family talking to a bunch of rich ponies, so she took the opportunity to be quiet.

It was at that moment when Twilight found Spike, who was hiding behind one of the chairs with a cake in his claws. Twilight let out a soft gasp as she knew exactly what Spike was planning.

"Spike, please don't!" Twilight whispered.

"I'm only trying to keep you safe, Twilight. Just promise that you won't go back to Canterlot!" Spike whispered back.

The purple unicorn shook her head in response. "No! I have to go back! Put down the cake, Spike!"

Desperate to stay out of trouble, Twilight sneaked over to Spike in an effort to grab the cake. This caught the attention of Filthy Rich, who pretended not to notice Twilight as he wanted to make a good first impression for his guests. At the last second, Spike threw the cake in the air as it fell on one of the ponies, covering her with cream and frosting. This surprised everyone in the room. After getting over their shock, the Riches turned their attention to Twilight, assuming that she used her magic on the cake.

"Wh-What is the meaning of this?" the pony yelled, trying to get the cream and frosting off her dress.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, ma'am! I told my niece not to bother us. She knows that she should stay in her room." Filthy apologized before sending a death glare towards Twilight.

Twilight couldn't believe the situation she was in. She was in trouble with her family, and it was all Spike's fault. The unicorn turned to face Spike, who apologized before sneaking out of the house.
