In this fanfic there is a made up character and the whole thing is mostly based upon the books, but with a lot of my own imaginings in it. The character in here is, like I said, a made up character and I'm making it seem that she has been at Hogwarts as long as the Trio, but no one has ever noticed her really or talked about her, especially the Trio. But she has a lot of different ties to many different characters. I've just kinda made up on the fly, so if it's kinda confusing, bear with me. Hope you like it!
Introduction
Keep running.
That's what they told me. Though I was only five and not old enough to actually know what was going on and why I had to run, I was old enough to realize that if I did stop running, something bad would happen. Something horrible. The only thing I had with me was my faded, emerald green nightgown and my old, worn stuffed bear that was missing an eye. My little legs were pumping as hard as they could and my breath came out in short gasps like little puffs of smoke because of the chilly night air. I ran across the wide stretch of parking lot and stopped short when I saw what was before me. The acres of trees that out lined the orphanage I lived in. I had always been frightened of what was in there, though the witches who ran the orphanage had always told me not to be afraid. I heard shouts and then screams and turned to see my home engulfed in flames. Then I saw a strange man in a mask runnning towards me. I screamed and, pushing away my fears, ran into the forest. I ran, faster than I'd ever run before, looking over my shoulder at the masked man that was running after me, ever closer. I suddenly tripped and found myself sprawled face first in the dirt. As I tried to get up, I felt hands close around my ankles and fell once again.
"GET OFF!" I screamed.
I kicked out many times and finally felt my foot collide with a face. I got up and started running again, looking back as I did so, to find the man with his mask off, holding his nose. He stood and pulled out a wand; the end lit up as he did so and I could just make out the blood running down his chin from his nose and the glint of his pale white-blonde hair. He lifted his wand muttering. I felt the curse hit me and I fell to the ground. The last thing I remembered, was two dark forms, of what seemed to be animals on all fours, standing in front of me, blocking me from the wizard. Then my world went dark.
