In the plains of the Outlands, Ramses, the embittered and vengeful lion, was walking and looming for something to eat. He found a couple of hyrax to eat but there was nothing else to be his main course, and he wanted something like a buffalo or an animal big and juicy for his taste buds.

Inside of him, Ramses was filled with anger and hatred for Kion, his friends, and his former Pride that exiled him to this place where it compares little to the Pride Lands, or the Back Lands.

"Those stupid kids." said Ramses. "I had everything I wanted, but no. They ruined my plans and they always get in my way every time I try to make a decent meal for myself. I mean, there is absolutely no harm in trying to eat a baby elephant or a rhino calf go fulfill my hunger. Pah!"

The more he thought about it, the more Ramses was feeling angry about this whole thing. "All of the Night Pride will pay dearly for rejecting me, and Kion will feel the same pain I had." He munched on a hyrax rib, and began munching on it like a bored dog. He wanted to just break it with his teeth, and he was trying to do just that, but he wasn't strong enough to make it completely snap this one like a twig.

He pulled out a smaller rib, and bit down on it without ease. Ramses was imagining Kion and his friends as the bones he was crushing with his canines. Ramses was filled with so much hate and anger in himself and he didn't even care who he would kill or eat, for he didn't have the empathy in himself to try and care for another creature.

Over in a far distance, he saw a lone wildebeest, and stalked it and pounced it from above, hiding on a cliff above the herbivore. He got a good grip and he killed wildebeest by locking his jaw onto it's neck, and he was quite sadistic when he Killer his prey. He liked watching it die slowly before eating it.

The wildebeest was bellowing for help for a few minutes until he hit his last, dying breath, and ot would bellow no more.

"At least one good thing came to me since being banished in this place." he muttered. "Quite a big boy, this wildebeest. Still, it won't be as satisfying as Kion's neck when I get my teeth on it."

As he was munching more and more in the antelope's skin, he heard a rustling sound above him and he heard some pebbles shaking every once in a while. "Hey, you." said a tough voice. Ramses looked behind the wildebeest and saw the Lion's Bane. He roared and landed in front of them, looking scary. "You gonna eat some of that?"

"Yes. What would you simpletons like to know?" Ramses rudely remarked with a raised eyebrow. "And who are you anyway?"

"I'm Harif,"

"Mpishi,"

"Makucha,"

"Tuma,"

"Draak."

"We're the Lion's Bane, buddy." Makucha remarked.

"Lion's Bane? Are you a friend of the so-called Lion guard?"

He heard raucous laughter from the animals in front of them and he had his ears down in annoyance. "Friends with those stupid kids?" Harif said. "Ha! Please! We hate them so much for getting in the way of our plans!"

"Those kids are really annoying." Mpishi said.

"They ruined my life!" Tuma added.

"And i really wanna see Basi's face when he sees that his son has been mauled by me. He will have to give his pod to me." Draak sadistically remarked. "Who are you anyway?"

"What would you like to know, you pathetic creatures."

"I wouldn't say that if I were you, big boy." Makucha warned whime pushing his face across the evil Lion's. Being bigger and more Intimidating than the leopard, Ramses was growling, but Makucha was growling back in retaliation while baring their teeth.

He was growling louder when Ramses said: "a leopard like you should know better not to mess with a lion like me."

"Heh. What are you gonna do about it?"

Makucha felt his faced being given a hard smack with Ramses' paw and it immediately knocked him to the ground, as if a rock had hit his face from an avalanche. Draak, Tuma, and the other members of the Lion's Bane looked surprised by this, and they slowly backed up a little.

Draak and Tuma realizes that they were bigger and more powerful than him, and tried attacking him, but Ramses had strength that most lions didn't have in themselves. Tuma tried smashing him with his fists, but Ramsea was fast and latched his claws onto his back before giving him a long, painful, clawing against his skin.

"Never underestimate me!" said the crazed lion.

"Hold still, Tuma!" Draak tried hitting Ramses with his large head, only for the lion to jump off the gorilla's back, and claw himself to the hippo's right side of his torso.

"Jeez! Take it easy! We don't want any trouble." Harif tried reasoning with him.

"Then stay out of my way." Ramses growled with his teeth baring at the other members. "What do you all want from me?"

"Calm down. We noticed the meat you killed and we wanted a bite of it." Mpishi said

"This is mine. Go find your own."

"Wait a minute, you hate the Lion Guard?" Harif remembered.

"More than anything on this planet. Nothing would he kore pleasurable than to kill those stupid kids for ruining my plans like this. They ruined my life and they got me exiled from both the Backlands and the Pride Lands all at once! The nerve!"

"Hmmm. I think we have something in common then?" Harif thought of an idea. "Who are ya?"

"Ramses, former leader of the Night Pride. The Lion Guard ruined my chance of reclaiming what is rightfully mine. I want them to feel my pain. And scream in agony."

"Oooh. I think we have a few things in common then." said Mpishi.

"Yeah. Well, Ramses, how would you like to join our group? We all hate Kion and his friends, and we all have the same goals: revenge against them."

"With that elephant Killer still around?" said Makucha. "He'll kill us all!"

"Yeah, he will pierce us with that horn!" Mpishi added

"Oh, shut up." Harif said. "You need to be brave. Looks don't matter." Turning back to Ramses, he asked: "what do you way, Ramses? Will you join us, and follow our goals to kill Kion and the Lion Hiard?

Ramses was silent at first, thinking about the offer, and his tail was twitching while thinking. "Well, I do appreciate the offer. I hereby decline. I follow orders to no one. I am a Lion, and lions rule all of the animals here. You should all listen to me!"

"Fat chance, fat head!" Mpishi said.

"I wouldn't say such things if I were you. I go my own way, and I will not join a group like you. I repeat: I go my own way. And there is nothing you can do or say that will make me change my mind."

"Grrrrrrr, fine. Have it your way. We don't need you. We can perfectly hatch a way to kill those kids ourselves."

"Pfft, you cannot even take care of yourselves. Good luck trying to fulfill your goals anyway. You will all forfeit your lives in trying to accomplish it." The group went off and Ramses continued eating the rest of the wildebeest for himself.

Indeed, he goes his own way and follows no one but himself. It just proves how much of a dangerous Lion he is. He seemed more evil or worse than Scar was when he was alive. Still, he knew that he will attack the Lion Guard one of these days.

Meanwhile

Siyanda, an old nightmare of Kion is back, and he wanted to finish what he wanted a long time ago. Now he is more determined to get his dinner than ever, and he wouldn't stop until he had Kion, no, Siyanda won't eat, he won't sleep, and he will not stop until he had Kion in his clutches

"Get out of here, Siyanda!" Simba bellowed. "Now, or I will have to kill you."

The martial eagle made a cold laugh, and he said: "that's a big no can do, your highness. You know how determined I am to catch my food."

"Go back to where you came from, you mangy beast!"

Siyanda growled at the insult. "Quite the mouth on you for a small cub." he charged and Simba tried to claw him whenever he got close enough and he managed to pin him down with his gigantic paw. It looked like Siyanda was at the king's mercy.

Growling, and barfing his teeth with anger in his eyes, Simba said: "this is your last warning: Leave now." he was growling at the last thing he said.

"You'll never be a great king as your pathetic father." Siyanda coldly insulted him.

It made Simba even angrier than ever.

The king roared in anger and began swiping the eagle's face with his other paw, but Siyanda managed to bite Simba's arm with his sharp beak, making him grunt in pain and let go of him. Siyanda turned his eyes to Kion, and he tried grabbing him with his talons.

Kion was not the scared baby he was when he was very little. Now, he was still a cub, but a brave leader of one who is honoring his uncle's legacy (before he turned evil, of course).

"How dare you hurt my dad!" Kion shouted. He did something he never thought he would have done to an animal before. He jumped, and landed on the martial eagle's hack as soon as he was close enough, and then he latched his teeth onto his neck, hard.

Siyanda haven't expected this and be tried getting Kion off of him, but the cub wouldn't let go, and he latched his teeth pretty hard on his neck. The eagle then crashed onto the ground, right on his belly with a loud thump into the dirt, and Simba looked quite surprised at what just happened.

Kion let go of Siyanda's neck, and he could hardly believe what he had done to this enemy. Siyanda didn't move, and Kion realized that he was dead. He never thought he would actually kill an animal like this.

Simba looked surprised by this and went up to the eagle's corpse. "Wow, Kion, that was amazing."

"Yeah but... I killed him." Kion sounded a little shocked. "I... I didn't mean to kill him."

Simba tried to console his son about this situation. "Oh son, he gave you no choice. He was too dangerous to be spared. He would have killed you. You were only fighting to stay alive." He gave him a warm smile. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. You're right dad. I just can't believe it, you know?"

"Don't worry, you were only fighting to survive."

"Yeah, you're right dad." Kion admitted. "Wait till I tell my friends about this. But, I hope, at least, an animal will eat him."

"Trust me, something will show up and eat him sooner or later. Come on, let's go hint with Kovu and your sister."

Kion smiled. "Okay dad. And thanks for trying to help me."

"You're welcome. I love you, Kion. I will always protect you. Even after death." Both father and son walked away to hunt for breakfast, and left the now dead Siyanda where he laid in the dirt and grass. It wouldn't be long for a scavenger or sole type of predator to eat this dead bird, and the insects will finish the job when only the bones remain.
