Mufasa and Sarabi's spirits surprised Kion in his dream. "So, you guys are my grandparents?" he asked the cub. Kion certainly sounded very intrigued and surprised to have dead lion spirits come to him in his dream, although he was a little frightened by this at first, but these two looked very majestic and mighty like a true king and queen over the Pride Lands.

"Yes," said Sarabi. "And we are here to help you."

"And we know we probably will not instantly get all your memories back, but we fan do the best we can. I know you will have them back, it all just takes time." said Mufasa. "You were one of the greatest things to ever happen to Simba and Nala."

"They... are my parents, right?"

Both the former king and queen nodded their heads to him. "Yes, Kion." said Mufasa. "They have made mistakes, but they love you dearly, and they will help you in any way possible."

"Just as we will help you in any way possible." Sarabi added.

"Well, I want to remember all that I have accomplished." Kion admitted, slightly turning his head sideways. "I just can't seem to remember all the things I've done. Or all my friends. I can't even remember all the fun times I had with my family."

"It is not your fault." Mufasa remarked. "You never know when these events will happen."

"You will recover your memories in due time. It all just needs patience. But we can help you recover them."

Kion was silent got a moment and he looked back st his grandparents with an unsure look on his face. "Do you think I can get my memories back?"

"Of course. As long as you stay healthy and not get hurt anymore."

"Well, my head does hurt after my fall." the cub admitted. "So I don't want to make it worse."

"Just call upon us if you need any help or guidance." Sarabi said.

"I will, Sarabi." Kion said: "and you too, Mufasa. Although, I can't really tell if I am really talking to you guys, or if I am delirious."

Both Mufasa and Sarabi chuckled again, and the former king said: "I can assure you that you are talking to us. We are spirits with our bodies laid to rest. We will always be there to guide you, as with the great kings and queens of the past from the stars."

The spirits slowly vanished, and Kion awoken from his sleep, looking at Kiara, who was still sleeping with him to keep him company. Suddenly, as soon as he just went back to sleep, the sound of thunder clapping was heard from outside the cave, and it made Kion jump and yell in surprise.

Kiara immediately woke up, started from her brother's scream. Another thunderstorm was erupting in the Pride lands, and Kiara saw Kion shaking and curled into a ball. "Shhh, it's okay, Kion." she soothed him. "It's only a storm. It's nothing to he scared of."

"What was that boom sound? And that flash?"

"It's okay, it's okay, Kion. Please calm down. It was thunder and lightning. That's why it's called a thunderstorm."

"Well... why is there thunder and lightning?"

"I... absolutely have no idea." the future queen admitted in a Frank voice. "But I do know that: it's a natural part of life, so there's nothing to be scared of. And we'll just wait until the storm passes and we can look at the Pride Lands."

"How long will that take?"

"That I don't know, either." she sounded modest again. "We just need to he patient."

"Well, okay."

"Can you try and sleep again?"

"I can try, but... I want you to be close to me."

"Don't worry," said Kiara. "That will not be a problem at all." Kion felt the warmth of his sister's golden fur brush against his body and her body frost so warm, and it helped him go back to sleep faster. Over the course of two hours, both snoozing soundly, the siblings awoken and notice that the rain wasn't as hard as it was before.

Kion still heard rain from outside the cave, but it wasn't so heavy and pouring. "I don't hear any thunder any more."

"Yeah, I know. Maybe we can go out and look at the Pride Lands now, Kion."

They both stretched their legs and yawned after their nice nap, she went outside the cave to feep the small raindrops hit their bodies. Everything outside looked completely soaked everywhere from the grass, to the trees, to the bushes, everything was soaking wet.

"Kion?" said a familiar voice. Kion looked and it was Rani, the future queen of the Night Pride, looking happy to see her friend again. The cub looked a little uneasy and hid behind his sisters arms judt in case.

"Who are you?" he asked cautiously.

Rani looked a little surprised, but she laughed before saying: "oh Kion, you are so funny."

"Uh, Rani?" Kiara looked uncomfortable, "Kion hit his head and he lost his memories." The smile on Rani's face vanished and turned into a frown in an instant. "Yeah, he probably doesn't remember you either."

"Ohhhhh. Sorry, I didn't know."

"It's not your fault, Rani." Kiara reassured. "These things just happen out of nowhere. But... maybe you can help me with him."

"That sounds like a good idea." Rani said. She slowly went up to Kion, who was slowly coming from behind Kiara's legs to get a closer look at her. "Kion, you really don't remember me?"

The cub nodded his head sideways. "Nope, Sorry. Your name is Rani, right?"

"Yep. That's my name. I wish I can get your memories back quickly. And you don't remember all ybr fun times and had against Jinja the python, or how we kissed?"

Kion blushed and looked nervous and sheepish. "We kissed?" he said

"But it's okay, it's okay. You enjoyed that kiss." Rani reassured him. "It's not raining as hard anymore today. I take it you don't remember the Night Pride either, huh?"

"Not really."

"Don't worry, Rani. We'll help him out." Kiara reassured. "It just takes time. Kovu's already leading his friends as temporary leader of the Lion Guard."

Wait, he doesn't have the Roar of the Elders, does he?"

"No, but he can still fight and tear enemies with his claws."

"Fair point. He is bigger than Kion."

'Hey, are you saying I'm weak?" the male cub looked offended hearing that.

"Oh no, no, no, of course not." said Rani. "No, I have known you long enough to see that you are a strong Lion cub, strong in body and strong in mind."

"Ah. So where do we go first, Kiara?"

"We can go to the eland herd. Maybe they can hp you out."

"That sounds fine. Do we eat them?"

Both girls laughed and Kiara replied: "yeah, but not right now. We need to treat them with respect like all the other animals here that respect the Circle of Life, and keeping it in balance."

"As they went down the rock go and look for Imari and his herd of eland, Kion asked: "Kiara, is it true that Mufasa and Sarabi are my grandparents?"

"Of course. It is very true. Why do you ask?"

"Because I just had a dream about them a few hours ago while I was napping. I couldn't tell if I was hallucinating or seeing them for real."

"Well, I promise you that you were talking to them. Sometimes, Kion, I dream about them too. They would say how proud i was to being a queen of the Pride Lands someday. What you saw in your dream was very real, not a hallucination."

"I'll take your word for it, then."
