Peashooter stepped a little further to see smoke coming from the mysterious hole him and Sunflower had found. The smoke was green, and spreading everywhere. It made the sky turn gray. He knew something bad would happen, and was extremely worried, but still decided to fight the zombies.

The zombie attack was EXTREMELY huge. So big to the point where the peashooters grew tired from shooting too many peas. They were all exhausted, but still needed to persevere to win the battle. Countless types of zombies were coming. The majority of the zombies were Football zombies, as Dr. Zomboss saw plants seemed to struggle against those. The zombie horde was too much, and eventually Repeater passed out from exhaustion. Snow Pea and Peashooter were about to as well. However, Gatling Pea was fine because of his high durability from military training. After killing the last Buckethead, the attack was FINALLY over. Snow Pea and Peashooter had passed out a few seconds before. Crazy Dave took the 3 inside into the Zen Garden. Gatling Pea went to check saw Peashooter, Snow Pea and Repeater being carried by Crazy Dave. She was worried when she saw Peashooter.

"Dave? Is Peashooter..okay?" Sunflower asked Crazy Dave, with a worried tone in her voice. "yEah hES fInE." Crazy Dave told Sunflower. Sunflower was relieved. She thought Peashooter was dead. After all, Peashooter was her friend. If he had died, she wouldn't know what to do at all. A few hours later, the 3 woke up in the Zen Garden. They realized Squash had been watching over them while they were unconscious. They asked Squash where all the others were. Squash replied, "All the other plants are outside doing target practice, you guys should go, but that's only if you want to." Snow Pea and Repeater went outside to join the target practice but Peashooter stayed inside to go talk to Sunflower. He couldn't find Sunflower anywhere though. He checked everywhere and still couldn't find her. Then, he caught an idea of where she would be. He snuck up the chimney, dived off the side of the roof into the neighbor's yard and snuck to the graveyard. And she was there. "Sunflower! Finally, I found you." Peashooter was happy. "Peashooter! I missed you!" Sunflower exclaimed with joy. "Ok, listen Sunflower."
