Hey there, before you start reading, I want to give a big apology for not posting any new chapters in the past 1-2 weeks, I've just been extremely busy and out of town so I wasn't really able to. Unfortunately, chapters are going to be weekly now because of a trip I'm taking. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'll try to make it up to you guys!

The cold harsh winds and the dark, scary atmosphere, made Peashooter and Sunflower tremble in fear. They tried going into Dave's house for shelter, but his brains had already been eaten, and everything had been taken. They scouted the lands to see if any other plants had survived the explosion. They weren't able to find a single lifeform. They were getting hungry, tired and didn't know what to do. They found a dusty hat across the ground that was a bit tattered but would help them. "This is probably the only thing we're gonna find that can help us, it's freezing." Peashooter said. "You take it, Sunflower. You probably need it more than I do." Peashooter gave Sunflower the hat as she smiled. "Thanks Peashooter!" They continued walking down the path.

They came across an old zombie farmer who was struggling to stand up straight and had to use a pitchfork as a walking stick. He didn't seem to be hostile, so they went up to him and asked him what was wrong. He fell down onto a tree and couldn't speak and just sat there, lifelessly. They didn't know how to help them so they just walked off. Before they went, he gave them a key. They didn't know what it was for, but kept it anyway. They would take anything during these times. They saw a door appear out of nowhere, it was kind of weird, but they had no choice. They went through.
