Hello everyone, here is a new story I have been working on for a while. This story will be a rewrite of Inner Power, which I hope this will a hundred times better than the original, even though it will mostly be completely different than the original.
As I said, I never quit the Inner Power story, as this will have ideas I had planned for the original. I will explain more at the A/N at the end of this chapter.
For now, let's enjoy the first chapter of the first arc of Demon´s Power, the Red Swordsman Arc.
But for now, let's see what I have in store for you.
Hiro Mashima owns Fairy Tail. I don't own a thing.
Warning! This story will contain graphic content and violence. Don't read it if you can't handle gore and blood.

Chapter 1: The Red Swordsman.
In a forest, surrounded by dark trees, towering towards the night sky, where the only source of light came from a campfire.
A tall, shirtless, muscular man, stood before a naked, green haired woman, her eyes shadowed as she lay down on a blue blanket.
"Don't worry, you won't regret this. It will be amazing, after all..." The green-haired woman said, as her eyes turned red.
"Once I consumed your flesh, boy!" The green-haired woman said, as her skin turned green, gained sharp teeth, longer limbs and claws and her hair turned into tentacles, as she lunged towards the shirtless man.
"I got you now, fool!" The demon woman said, but then the man had his fist glow in a blue, bright light, right before her face.
"And I got you too, Demon." The man said, as then a bright explosion was seen and heard across the forest, scaring the animals, being birds, squirrel, bunnies and even wolves away.
The corpse of the demon woman laid on the ground in flames, as the man put on his clothes, all over a red, hooded cloak.
"That was a Rank Six demon indeed. Next stop, Daffodil Town." The man said, putting on his hood, and going to his next destination.
Daffodil Town, as small and seemingly normal town in Fiore, surrounded by a tall wall, with houses, a church, stores, restaurants and such, with a large castle with towers on the northeast part of the town.
It was rainy day, as the dark clouds covered the sky, showing barely any light, almost having it be mistaken for night.
The Hooded Man, having killed a demon earlier, entered the only entrance to the city, guarded by two guards wearing armor, helmets and capes, each carrying a spear and a shield.
As the rain fell on his head covered by the hood, the figure looked at the armored soldiers that guarded the gate, looking stoic and imposing, but even if their helmets covered their faces, he could feel what the soldiers didn't want to show, for them to protect their status as fighters: fear.
The hooded man walked into the town; on the streets were the water of the rain, mixing with the ground of earth, turning it into mud, as the figure watched the citizens around him.
On the streets, were the people you usually wouldn't see. Across the street, were men, from twenty to their forties, wearing torn clothing and leather jackets in spikes or fur, their hair, either naturally colored or dyed, being in the style of pompadours, afros, mohawks or buzzcuts.
The woman, were the same as the men, being twenty at youngest, as they were scantily clad and barely showing any shame.
The streets themselves, were covered with graffiti and broken windows, even stains of blood on the walls.
The punks were either smoking, talking, drinking or playing games like poker, or even five finger fillets.
Another thing to be noticed, there weren't any children or elderly among them.
The man looked at the windows, as they were barely any faces showing through them, as if something, or someone, scared them from doing so.
As then, a little boy with brown hair and green eyes looked at window, before he was pulled back in by his mother.
As the Hooded Figure walked, he saw a carriage carried by two horses ridden by a man in a hat with a straw in his mouth, having a cage filled with children and young women, all wearing white, hooded cloaks for clothing, carried towards a large mansion in the north part of the town.
The hooded man watched as the carriage went on, before continuing to walk.
The man continued to walk in the streets, as he soon come to the town square, showing a scene from a nightmare.
Corpses about forty to fifty in number. Torn to shreds as they were impaled by poles from the ground. Either in pieces or intact, their guts hanging out, and the sharp spear heads, coming either out of the eyes, mouth or middle of their heads. On their bodies, was a guild mark, taking the form of a double-bladed axe, with a bearded head in a middle, and triangular hat in the middle, being in different body locations and colors.
In the middle of the Town Square, was fountain, with a statue of armored warrior with a helmet, cape and a spear, raised in the air, with behind him a sea shell-like decoration, widened like a fan and had six spikes stretched out, three on each side.
And of course, the statue wasn't free from the scene of carnage either.
On top of it, was a corpse. The corpse was a male and cut to seven pieces. The head, with brown hair and green eyes, with filled with nothing but pure shock and horror. The other pieces, the arms, legs, chest and lower body, were on the spikes of the stone decoration.
The blood that had already ran out of its body, had already dried, and had gone down the spear and through the statue, going down in the water of the fountain, painting it red.
"So, it's true. That kind of thing lives here, in this very town." The Hooded Man said, and then walked to his next destination.
In a bar, known as the Crimson Cobra, where the people of the town were currently gathered, talking about their daily tasks.
On one of the several tables, pair of middle-aged men were talking, as they drank their jugs of beer.
"Did you hear that thing from yesterday, Todd?" A man with brown hair and yellow eyes said who was wearing dark pants and robes said.
"Yeah, Basil. I heard it quite loud. Apparently, someone tried to kill Giro while he was taking his daily stroll." Todd said who had red hair and a beard, wearing a blue robe.
"Frawd, a wizard from the legal guild Dwarf Axe, hired to kill Giro. But sadly, as a result, the moment Frawd appeared to him, Giro easily overpowered before Frawd would even land a scratch on him. Soon after, Frawd and his fellow Dwarf Axe wizard were chopped into pieces, as Frawd was impaled on the statue of the Town Square, alongside his fellow wizards. I can even remember when I saw him still moving his limbs after being impaled." Todd said.
"I know this may sound strange, but in his eyes, it looked like the eyes were already filled with horror, even before he was chopped to pieces." Basil said, as he and Todd shivered at the memories.
"What the hell shall we do? Are we doomed to always be living in fear under Giro? Is this the fate of this very town?" Todd said, his hands grabbing his head.
"I really don't hope so." An elderly voice was heard, causing Nestor and Todd turn to an elderly man, with short, grey hair, a pair of lavender eyes, and a face of wrinkles, a sign of age. His attire was that of a white, hooded robe, a pair of grey pants, and carried a black walking cane.
This was the town's elder; Buck.
"For too long, this town has suffered because of Giro´s reign. Things need to be fixed, and quickly as possible." Buck said, looking up at the roof.
"What the hell is the Mayor thinking? Does he want to protect this town or not...?" Buck thought.
"I don't blame you. Ever since Giro took over, life's been a living hell for us all." Todd said in a depressed tone, before slamming his fist on the table. "Dammit, why can't the King or the Magic Council do something?! Can't they at least send a guild like Fairy Tail, Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus or Lamia Scale to help us?!" Todd said in frustration.
"Shh, not so loud, especially since Giro´s goons are here." Basil said, as then a loud voice was heard.
"HURRY UP AND DROP US ANOTHER ROUND, WILL YA! EVERYTHING IS ONE THE HOUSE FOR US, SINCE WE ARE GIRO´S MEN!" A loud voice was heard across the bar, where a group of four men were sitting.
The man who shouted were Gard, a bald, obese man with tanned skin, a potato-shaped nose and a blue star mark on his left eye. His eyes were red with dark eye rings around them, wore black boots, black pants, large, brown belt, a black t-shirt and a white vest with a large, red X on the back.
Another man was Jimmy, a tall, muscular man with tanned skin, green hair in an afro, green shades, a cleft chin and wore blue jeans, grey boots, a white tank top and a pair of black shades.
Another was Johnny, who has his black hair in a pompadour hair style, wore a white t-shirt, blue pants, brown boots, a white tank top and a black leather jacket.
Lastly, was Jones, who had red eyes and long, black hair in a ponytail, wearing a pair of torn, light blue, jeans, black boots, a pair of skull-shaped shoulder pads of iron, a black hoodie with the hood up and a white cross on the back of the hoodie.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" A young, blonde girl with brown eyes named Dina said, wearing a white dress with a brown apron came with a plate of food and drinks at the group of four men.
As Dina went to came to the tables, Jones, with a grin, put hooky on leg, causing her to fall on the ground, spilling the food and drinks everywhere on the floor. The four men laughed, with Dina slowly going up, while the others in the bar could only watch in silence.
"Oh, you clumsy girl, look at the mess you made. You made my boots all dirty!" Gard said, as he put his boots before her. "I'm so sorry!" Dina apologized. "You think apologizing is enough? You need to them clean them up, this instant!" Jones shouted. "R-right!" Dina said, before she went to take out a tissue from the pocket of her dress, but was stopped as Gard kicked her in the face.
"You fucking idiot! Not with a tissue, but with your tongue. You need to be punished for dirtying my boots." Gard said, grinning. "Eh?" Dina said confused. "Look, it's simple. Just lick them, and things will go smooth for all of us." Gard said, turning to Jimmy, Johnny and Jones. "Or do we have to tell Giro-sama about this?" Gard said.
Gulping, seeing as she had no chocie, Dina went to go down and lick with her tongue on Gards dirty boots.
"That's right, that's right, lick them nice and clean until they shine like silver armor in the noon." Gard said, as his men laughed at Dina´s misery.
Everyone in the bar could only watch, as they barely could do anything. Not even her mother, Silva.
A middle-aged woman, being in her mid-thirties, having brown, curly hair, brown eyes like her daughter Dina, and wore a white dress with a grey apron, could only watch in silence and shame as her daughter was a victim to Gard and his men.
"You should be careful. I too want to give them a piece of my mind, whatever I am old or not, but we cannot have repeated what happened to you husband, Drake?" Buck said.
Before Silva could answer, the sound of a bell was heard, causing her to turn to the counter, a fake smile on her face, as she saw the hooded man.
"Welcome to the Crimson Cobra, what can I get you?" Silva said, before seeing a bag on the counter, opened and showing gold Jewels in it. "It seems you here for a feast I see. I can't blame you, going all in this stormy weather, so you deserve some good time here. Just don't sit there were Gard-sama and his men are sitting, they have booked for the day." Silva said, trying to sound like a happy barkeeper, even at the situation her daughter were in.
"These Jewels aren't for a meal." The hooded man said. "Huh?" Silva said confused. "But for the mess I am gonna made." The hooded man said, walking to a group of four men tormenting a girl. "Wait, what are you...?" Silva said, and the hooded man ignored her, walking towards the group.
"There, there, that's a good girl; continue to lick my boots until I say so, unless you do it faster." Gard said, while Johnny, Jimmy and Jones were laughing at Dina, with tears in her eyes.
The Hooded tapped Gard´s shoulder, much to his irritation. "Huh? Who the hell are you and what do you want? You can't touch other people's shoulder like that, its rude." Gard said in an annoyed tone.
"Sorry, but it's also rude to not to point out things. Like something there's dirty." The hooded man said. "Huh, like what?" Gard asked.
"Your face." The hooded man said, before then piercing Gard right in the left eye with a fork!
Gard screamed in pain, as it got everyone in the bar attention, being Silva, Dina, Buck, the customers, as well Johnny, Jimmy and Jones, who got up from their seats in shock.
Blood came out of his eye socket, as Gard´s head was then pinned down the table by the Hooded Man.
"You, you bastard... let go of me!" Gard shouted in pain. "You better do as I say, or lose another eye. Are you Giro´s men?" The hooded man asked.
"Y-you bet your ass we are...!" Giro said, as Johnny took out an iron club, Jimmy a pair of swords and Jones a crossbow.
"I see. Then you should be able to answer this question: Where is Giro?" The Hooded Man asked calmly.
"A-As if we tell anyone to the likes of you...!" Giro said, and Johnny went to charge at him with his club raised in the air. The hooded man sighed, and then threw Gard off the table, and then dodged the swing. He then grabbed a knife, to then use it to cut off Johnny´s nose!
Johnny screamed in pain, holding where his nose was, before being punched in the face by the Hooded Man, knocking out some teeth in the process.
Jimmy went to charge at him in rage, which the Hooded Man then threw the knife, hitting his ear and tore it off, making Jimmy drop down and scream in pain as well.
The Hooded Man then grabbed a bottle, to then smash it at Jimmy´s face, sending him on the floor with his face covered blood and glass shards.
Jones, who was shaking in fear, proceeded then to try shooting him with his crossbow, since he had the range. But before Jones could shot, the hooded man then grabbed the handle his sword.
In one moment, a sword could be seen in the air, and in the next second it came down.
Time almost felt like it went slow for a second, before them, a huge bump of iron came and was smashed into the floor, breaking both the wooden floor, even the rock that was beneath it.
The entire bar, the costumers and the owners, were silent in shock as Jones, was vertically cut in half, his guts and blood spilling out everywhere, by the man´s giant sword.
Or what could be called a sword. Because it was too big, too long, too heavy, too thick, to be a sword. It was more like a large club of iron.
As the man swung his sword, his hood fell down and the cloak opened, revealing his appearance.
It was a young man with short, spiky, jet black hair, red eyes, a horizontal scar across his nose and a tall, muscular and imposing frame, a built made of a warrior. He wore red, baggy pants tucked inside a pair of black leather boots, a black belt with a octagon-shaped belt buckle of silver, having a dark sphere in the middle, a red t-shirt with a v-neck, a silver chain necklace with a silver cross, his arms were covered in white bandages, from elbow to hand, and over it all a red, hooded cloak.
The halves of Jones' corpse fell on the floor, and the Man in Red watched at the shocked residents in the bar, before turning towards Gard, lying on the ground, and still having the fork in his eye, and was in too much pain to touch the fork.
"Now listen here. Tell your boss, that the Red Swordsman here. Do that or expect to have more iron in your diet." The Figure said, his large sword in his hand.
The sword was almost tall as the man, with its blade's color being blue with a darker blue interior, its guard was made of a red metal, with the guard and handle forming a T with a red rose emblem within its octagon-shaped crest in the middle. Its handle was twice as long of a normal one, wrapped in white bandages, and had its red metal pommel in the form of a skull.
"The Red Swordsman...?" Gard said, fear hidden in his voice, as the Man in Red grabbed the fork in his eye, causing him panic and groan in pain.
"Guess you're finally having it in your thick skull. Now scram, unless you want to lose your other eye." The Man in Red said, before then taking out fork of his eye socket, along with Gard´s left eye!
Gard screamed again, rolling on the floor, holding his face in pain, where his left eye was. The Man in red dropped the fork with the eyeball, even having its severed optic nerve at the end of it.
"You bastard, this will be your last and greatest mistake! Mark my words on that!" Gard said, laying on the ground in pain, alongside Johnny, Jimmy and the halves of Jones´ corpse.
The bystanders, being the customers, the owners and Dina the little girl, were too silent in shock before the man sighed, the white bandages then began to telepathically wrap around the blade of his large sword, before putting it on his back and then walked out the bar.
As he was outside, he walked down the streets, until Dina, the little girl came out of the bar.
"Wait!" Dina said, making the man stop, but not turn to her. "What?" The man asked. "I just want to thank you, but... what's your name? I was thinking that since what you did, I want to know the name of my savior. I'm Dina." Dina said.
A short moment of silence was in the scene, before the Man in Red went to speak.
"Markus." The man said as he introduced as he then to leave the scene, as Dina's mother Silva came out as well.
"Excuse me!" Silva said, and Markus sighed as a response. "What now? I already gave you the money for the mess I made in your bar. If you wanna scold me, it's a wrong time and place to do so." Markus said. "It's not that at all! I wanted to treat you a meal, as thanks for saving my daughter! Don't worry it's on the house!" Silva said.
Markus sighed, scratching his head. "Well, since I haven't eaten anything in three days, I have no reason to say no to this." Markus said, much to the delight of Silva and Dina.
Later, in a large mansion, where a young man with silver hair, red eyes and long, pointed ears, wearing a green shirt, white pants and a blue cape, sitting on a throne, where Gard, Jimmy and Johnny, all having bandages from their injuries that Markus gave them. Gard had the left side of his face bandaged, where his eye was.
The man on the throne took a sip from his wine glass to then speak. "Tell me what happened, Gard." The Man asked.
"Yes, Giro-sama! A man wearing red clothes came in and suddenly went to attack us." Gard explained, the left side of his face bandaged.
"A man in red you say?" Giro said, taking another zip of red wine from his glass. "Yes, and he was carrying a sword big enough to chop a cow clean in half!" Jimmy said. "Anything more about him?" Giro asked.
"Well, yes actually. That man also called himself the Red Swordsman." Johnny said.
"Wearing red, and using a giant sword? Could it be...?" Giro thought, before he then snickered.
"Giro-sama?" Gard asked in concern. "I have heard enough. Tell the Mayor I wish to meet him as soon as possible. You are now dismissed." Giro ordered. "Yes, at once Giro-sama." Giro said as he, Johnny and Jimmy left the throne room.
As the group of four men left the scene, Giro smiled as took another sip of his wine. "This sounds too good to be true. I look forward to see what you can do, Red Swordsman." Giro thought, with a grin that showed his sharp teeth.
At Dina´s and Silva´s house...
Markus sat the table in the house Dina and her family lived in, eating the food before him. Being bread, meat, pies and fruit, Markus made sure to devour the food, but ate in a good pace, even though he didn't have eaten for three days.
Dina and Silva were silent, as they stood up as Markus sat down, not saying a word, as if no had words, whatever it was the savior of Dina was before them, or that the fact of what Markus had done, had them say no words.
"Do you have any idea of what you have done, boy?" Buck said. Being the father of Silva, and the grandfather of Dina, he lived alongside his daughter and granddaughter.
He was currently sitting on the couch, and Markus didn't say a word, as he had stopped eating, right after he had taken a sip of his drink.
"Dad!" Silva said, in a protesting tone. "Grandpa!" Dina protested as well.
"Don't get the wrong idea. I am beyond happy and grateful of what you did back there." Buck said, as he got up from the couch.
"As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for my weak body due to this thing called `age,´ I would have smashed their skulls to pieces." Buck said, anger hidden in his voice, as he walked with the help of his cane.
"Even though the consequences, which will be now onto us soon, Markus." Buck said, as Markus watched in silence, and Buck turned to his daughter and granddaughter. "Can you leave the two of us alone for a moment? I want to talk with him alone for a bit." Buck said.
"Of course, dad." Silva said, before she and Dina went to leave the room.
Buck proceeded to sit before Markus, taking a deep breath and then went to speak.
"There´s a reason why no one stood up to Giro and his men." Buck said. "It's because the last person who stood up to Giro, was Drake. My son in law, the husband of my daughter Silva, and the father of Dina." Buck explained.
"Drake once led a rebellion, along with fellow townspeople, to take down Giro. However, Giro had already caught them head on, causing him and those around to be brutally torn to pieces, right in public for that matter." Buck said, looking down the floor with shadowed eyes.
"I can still remember when Silva held Dina tightly to her chest, as she didn't want her daughter to see or hear the horrible death Drake was going through." Buck said, shaking his cane, the memories coming through his mind.
"Since then, none of the town people had been having the guts to taking out Giro. We have been foolishly hoping that anyone would come to save us from this terror." Buck said, before then looking at Markus.
"And yesterday, a group of wizards from the Legal Guild Dwarf Axe, led by their Ace, Frawd, came to take down Giro." Buck said. "I can guess you saw the scene at the Town Square, so you must already know the result of that." Buck said.
"If that wasn't enough to mock us for having hope in them, Giro proceeded to slaughter them like animals in public, making sure to keep their horrified faces even after death." Buck explained.
"Because of that, the town is in more despair than ever. The town now believes that there cannot be any change, whatever it's from our village, or from those outsides." Buck said, and then pointed his cane at Markus.
"But now, not only you managed to take down Giro´s men, but also return unscratched." Buck explains. "That means that you aren't an ordinary warrior, boy. Because what I want to ask you, are you the warrior we need, Young Man?" Buck asked, and Markus was silent, the door to the house slammed opened, as a group of armored guards entered.
"Hold it right there!" The captain, who had brown hair in a pompadour and a red cape over his silver armor said.
Dina and Silva entered the room, seeing in shock as the soldiers entered.
"What's going on?" Dina said. "What are you doing?!" Silva said, which went ignored by the soldiers, surrounding the table were Markus and Buck sat at.
"You are under arrest by orders of Mayor Rottwield! Anything you say can be used against you, and any resistance or objections will cause only further harm!"
"Unless you don't intend to fight of course." The captain said, as the guards went to take Markus out of his seat, who sighed.
"What´s happening?" A confused Silva said. "Some must have told where Markus were gonna be taken, and have sold him out of fear." Buck sighed.
"Well, it seems I have no choice but to do as you say. Too bad I won't be here for dessert. Had really looked forward to it." Markus said, as he turned to Dina and Silva. "But thanks for the meal, and sorry for the trouble." Markus said, which Dina, Silva and Buck could only watch in silence, while Markus was dragged out of the house by the soldiers.
"Oh, don't you worry; we shall give you a `warm welcome´ to your special room, for your actions earlier." The captain said, as Markus remained silence, knowing what the captain meant by that.
Later...
In a dungeon beneath the castle located in the middle of Lily Town, Markus, now shirtless, was covered in scars and burn marks, as he was chained to the wall, with his bald torturer holding a red, glowing rod of steel in his hand.
As he was now shirtless, his bare upper body was shown, showing a well-built and muscular frame, that would bodybuilders to shame, even with the scars on the body, and not just the one he got from the torturer.
There were scars from various battles he had gained from his years, being battles and torture, whatever situation that would normally kill a normal man, and Markus wasn't exactly normal.
"You thought we didn't mean a `warm welcome´ for you, eh? Then think again." The Bald Torturer said. Markus remained silent, his eye shadowed and his body covered with bruises, blood running down on it.
"That's enough!" An elderly voice said, causing the Torturer and Markus to see three figures entering the room, being Mayor Rottwield and his two guards.
Mayor Rottwield was a short man with a bald head, brown eyes and a wrinkled face. He wore a white, hooded robe and brown shoes.
"Mr. Mayor!" The torturer said, bowing to the small man. "What have you gotten out of him?" Rottwield asked the soldiers at his side.
"Well, from what we find inside his clothing, we saw he had provisions like food, water, a sack of Jewels, some bottles, some herbs, and some medicine." The soldier to the left said. "And his sword, it was so heavy that it took two of our men were barely able to carry it all the way here. We even had to switch now and then for them not to break their spines." The soldier to the right said, referring to the sword hanging from the wall in chains.
"Also, after we removed his armor and clothing, we saw that he carried an emblem on his neck." The Torturer said. "What kind of emblem?" Rottwiald said, raising his eyebrow. The Torturer then went to spin Markus around, before, then lowering him to the ground.
"Look here, when we saw this, we were now sure that he was from that Cursed Clan." The Torturer said, as Rottwield saw a mark was imprinted on the flesh on the back of left side of his neck.
The emblem was red in color, in the form of three eyes all merged into a triangle of some sorts, each having a red slit as pupils within them. It looked like someone had burned it in, but also something he had since birth.
"I see..." Mayor Rottwield said. "Being from that Cursed Clan, it must be right to punish those damn freaks." The Torturer said, raising Markus up and having him turn to the mayor and his guards.
"You mean that Clan...?" One Guard said. "But I thought they were only a myth?" The Other Guard said, as the mayor of Daffodil spoke next.
"I should have a known that they come eventually. They truly bring bad luck wherever they go. You did a job in torturing him." The Mayor said. "Thank you for your praise, Mayor." The Torturer bowed, and then Rottwield turning to Markus, his old eyes looking at the black-haired man. "Young boy, I don't what you are up to, but do you have any idea what you have done?" The Mayor asked. Markus was silent, and the Mayor had his eyes shadowed.
"The men you took down were none other than of Giro the Butcher. He is the big shot, the ruler of this town. Since he took over our town, we have been living with fear. You don't have any idea what he can do." Rottwield said, as he began to sweat in fear.
"Well, your Elder Buck did explain some things here and there." Markus said.
"I see. So, you meet Elder Buck as well. Then you should know who you have made an enemy of." Rottwield said.
"That man´s bloodthirsty knows no limits. He slaughters anyone, men, women, elderly, even children. Sometimes, even his own men to gain what he wants, or when he is in a bad mode. Anyone who tried to go against him, have resulted him being torn to pieces in ways you couldn't imagine without feeling sick." Rottwield said, shaking in fear.
"It's almost he isn't human." The mayor said, looking down and sweating. "That is because he isn't." Markus said, resulting the torturer grapping a whip and whipping him with it.
"Who asked you?! Do you know who are talking to?!" The Torturer scolded.
"Enough! I shall go and talk with Giro at once! Hopefully, we can make up something. Meanwhile, take your time to think of what you have done." Rottwield ordered, as he was about to leave, but was stopped when Markus suddenly began to speak.
"What about you?" Markus said. "Huh?" The mayor asked. "You really think that I wouldn't notice? I saw a carriage, carrying women and children in it. Something that doesn't you normally see in a town. No one seemed to be bothered by it, as not even guards went to stop it. And judging from the direction it went, it seemed to be the Mansion, where Giro resides. Am I right?" Markus said.
"What are you talking about...?" The mayor said as he began to sweat.
"I never imagined you were so desperate. I mean, with a guy like Giro, I couldn't imagine what other choices you had. But to choose your own people lives over your own, I never thought someone would stop so low." Markus said, and the torturer proceeded whip him again.
"You shut your mouth! No one gave you the permission to speak!" The Torturer scolded.
"Not only that, but the requests also you sent were only to low, weak guilds, as if you wanted them to come to this very town. You have the power to make any requests but choose only those that Giro could take down." Markus said, as the Torturer continued to whip Markus, which didn't stop his talking his talking at all.
"And judging you, you probably would have executed Dina, Silva and Buck, due to it happened in their bar. That's why I didn't resist, and turned myself in, so that they wouldn't be in trouble." Markus said, who didn't react to the whipping at all.
"Just like when you told Giro about Drake of what had been doing, and showed where Drake had his rebellion. You really make me want to puke." Markus said, spitting at Rottwield´s face, angering the guards and the torturer.
"You bastard, you will pay for that!" The Torturer said, as he was about to stab Markus with his burning pole.
"Enough!" Rottwield said, wiping of the sweat with a tissue, and went to leave the room with the two guards.
"Do what you want with him! I don't care! Just make sure that he is still alive by morning. I want to make a public execution as an apology to Giro, to make sure he doesn't do anything to our village." Rottwield said, as the Torturer grinned sadistically.
"Oh, trust me. By tomorrow, this guy will be begging to be killed." The Torturer said, going to his collection of torturer tools, while Markus remained stoic.
Later, at Giro´s mansion...
At a long table, sat Giro eating a meal, while the Mayor stood at the other end with a meal before him as well, which he didn't touch, standing in complete silence, until Giro went to break it.
"Are you just gonna stand there, or do I have to ask you to leave? You make me uncomfortable in eating my dinner." Giro said.
"Or it something you want to talk about. Something about this?" Giro said, snapping his fingers, as then a servant came with a plate covered by a silver lid, putting it before the mayor. The servant removed the lid, as it contained Gard's eye, Johnny's nose and Jimmy's ear.
The mayor gulped as his eyes widen in horror to the body parts belonging to Giro´s men on the plate.
The next second, The Mayor got up and immediately began to bow.
"I-I am so sorry, Giro-sama! I just came her to apologize for the action that man did to your men earlier at the Crimson Cobra bar!" The Mayor said as he bowed in apology.
Giro remained unresponsive, making the Mayor worry even more.
"I´ll make sure to double the provisions, but just make sure to give me more time! I know you can be impatient, but please..." ´Rottwield begged, but Giro cut him off.
"Do you think I care about that?" Giro said, confusing the Mayor. "Money, food, women. Who cares about that?" Giro said as he got up from his seat. He then walked to an armor set, containing a golden armor with a red cape.
"I don't care of such trivial things. All I desire is the sound of screams and crushing bones, the smell of blood and the sight of corpses decorating the ground like the leaves of fall." Giro said, as then two guards then went to grab Rottwield´s arms.
"W-what are you doing?!" Rottwield said in shock. "I think you have no reason to apologize to me, Mayor. After all, with the Red Swordsman here, I finally have a reason to go all out." Giro said, his eyes glowing red.
"And since I am such good mood, you will be the start of the party that will go on tonight." Giro said, as one of the guards holding the mayor draw out their sword, much to Rottwield's shock and horror.
"W-wait!" The Mayor said, which went deaf their ears, and soon a scream was heard in the room, with blood spewing out in the room.
Giro´s response was a grin as he licked his lips, showing his sharp fangs, snickering sinisterly and his eyes glowing red.
Back with Markus, he was currently laying in a cell, handcuffed as he sat on the floor, leaning against the cold brick wall, bruised and shirtless.
"Damn, that torturer wasn't kidding, he truly did a number." Markus said as he stood up. "But he needs to do better if he wants to put me on a coma at least." Markus said, as he looked at his hands, that were cuffed in Magic Sealing Stones.
Markus pressed his neck at the stone wall, feeling the mark on his neck. Markus brought his hand towards it, touching it slightly.
"As long you and your family have that brand, it will haunt you for all eternity."
Markus grit his teeth, remembering the words that echoed through his mind, as even if it was frustrating, it was a reminder of what why he was on his journey.
He took his hand away, as he looked at it then, before looking up at the barred window up at the ceiling.
"I'm coming for you, Giro." Markus said, and then saw the scenery around him change. It turned red, as blood began flooding in, with corpses, torn to pieces like ragdolls with their guts and organs spilling out, was everywhere, with fires coming from destroyed buildings around them.
In the middle, were a shadowed figure, wearing armor and cape, having his long hair flowing down as his red eyes glowed in the dark.
"Xenith..." Markus said, as if his voice was that of hatred itself, clenching his teeth as he was an animal about to attack a prey, but not devour, as it be considered an honor to be at least considered a meal. And the man Markus was seeing had no worth having such an honor.
But then, a sudden clanking noise was heard, as Markus snapped his eyes opened and saw a pair of figures at the door, making him realize it was a dream he just had.
"This is the guy?" The man said. He had brown hair, blue eyes and a goatee on his chin. His attire consisted of simple, iron armor with brown gloves.
At his side, was Buck. "You think I would lie to you about that?" Buck said. "Buck?" Markus said, as he got up.
"Before you ask who I am, I am here to break you out." The brown-haired man said, as Markus remained in silence. "Look, I know this is sudden, and you don't know me, and I don't know you." The man in the armor said as he took out a ring of keys.
"I'm Dina's older brother, Ern, the bar girl you saved earlier." Ern said, as Markus then got up.
"I heard that some assholes forced to lick their boots, as she made an accident they made in purpose. For too long, Giro has been taking our freedom, seeing us nothing as their slaves." Ern explained.
"For too long, they have pushing us around, but when I heard about your action, I know hope had arrived." Ern said.
"And you are gonna let me out just because of that? To avenge what he had done, including to your old man?" Markus asked, as Ern turned to Buck. "So, you told him about that?" Ern said, as Buck remained in silence.
"My dad was the first to stand against them, as I looked up to him, but became enraged when he was taken down by him. But this is the first time someone finally stood against Giro´s gang, and I won't let it be the last." Ern explained.
"Our mayor may be old and weak, but to sacrifice women and children to save his own skin is low. Which is why I am letting you out." Ern said. "And what if I'll suddenly kill you the moment you release me? You really shouldn't trust blindly like that." Markus said.
"My grandpa told me about what you did, and that is more than enough to trust you. Besides, it's better than nothing." Ern said.
"I have failed doing nothing for my little sister and family, as I watched the mayor´s back and my fellow citizens being mistreated by Giro´s men." Ern said, and then opened the cell, to then open Markus´ Magic Sealing Cuffs.
"Which is why you are now our last hope." Buck said, entering the cell with his grandson.
"So do what you want. I rather break the law than have this town suffers anymore. Just make sure that Giro pays for what he has done." Ern said.
"Well, if you so trust me, can you show me back to my stuff?" Markus asked. "Of course, follow me." Ern said, as they then walked down the hallway. Soon, this town was to experience one hell of a battle.
Later...
Flames raged on, as they rose to their air like towers, as the houses and buildings of Daffodil town were set ablaze.
On his black horse, Giro was laughing. Wearing a golden armor that covered head to toe, wearing spike pads on his kneepads and elbows, wolf head-styled shoulder pads, a long, red cape, and a golden, wolf-styled helmet, he was holding a long spear with its spear head in silver, while in his other hand, he wore the severed head of mayor Rottwield.
Giro was laughing like the maniac he was, as around him were the corpses of the citizens being slayed by his spear or crushed by the hooves of his horse.
"Burn! Burn everything to the ground! Kill everyone within my sight!" Giro laughed as the citizens were screaming in horror from the massacre, to be slaughtered by Giro´s men.
The citizens that were still alive were gathered in the town square. Among there were Dina and Silva, watching in horror that their town were currently in such as state.
"This is truly horrible." Silva said, holding her daughter closely. "Our beloved town..." Dina said.
As they were in a panicked state, Giro came charging towards them on his horse, his spear rose in the air, swinging it down to strike it at the group of citizens.
But before the spear could do so, a suddenly large sword came before it; block the spear´s head with ease. The townspeople, Giro and his minions, watched in silence of who had blocked Giro´s spear.
The man, with his red cloak flowing in the wind, stood with his massive sword locked with Giro´s spear.
"You better run. There won't be chances like this again." Markus said, as the group of citizens did as they were holding, thanking Markus along the way.
Giro, then began to smile as Markus then jumped away, and held his sword in a defensive position.
"Markus!" Dina said, as then Buck and Ern entered the scene. "It seems that we got here just in time." Buck said. "Grandpa, big brother?" Dina said. "Before you ask, we freed him from his cell. I may be in trouble for that, which is a risk I am willing to take." Ern said, as he and Buck saw the severed head of Rottwield in Giro´s hand. "And with the mayor dead, I cannot say much." Buck said.
Giro, who was locked with his spear at Markus´ sword, a twisted grin on his face, as he dropped the Mayor´s head and had it smashed to pieces by his horse´s hoof.
"So, you are the infamous Red Swordsman, I have heard so much about?" Giro said grinning.
"In the flesh, since I am wearing red and using a sword, who else do you think I am?" Markus said, and Giro proceeded to swing his spear again, sending Markus away, who landed on the ground on his feet.
"But first, let's see if you are really what they say. Men!" Giro said, snapping his fingers as his men came charging towards Markus in a horde and Markus then turned to the crowd.
"Yo, have anyone been burned in the flames?" Markus asked, which a man with a mustache went to speak. "N-no we haven't! We may have many casualties, but none have died in the flames yet." The Mustached man said.
"That's good to hear..." Markus thought as then a trio of hooded men, all wearing black hoods, came to slash Markus with their swords, only for him to cut them down in one slash.
After he cut them down, another hooded minion charged at him with his spear, trying to stab him.
"DIE!" He shouted, only for Markus to easily cut him down, and then large man with brown hair, who wore a red vest with a white skull on the back, came charging at Markus with his spiked mace, who cut his weapon with his large sword, slicing the large man as well.
One after another, the men came running towards him, with Markus showing no sign of exhaustion at all, cutting down any enemy that came before him.
Another man with long, blonde hair tied in a ponytail, had his arms bandages and used dual swords came charging at him, whom he easily cut down, as hooded mage with black hair entered the scene.
"You think are tough stuff?" A hooded mage said, before then Magic appeared in his hands.
"Then how about this? Iron-Make: Dual Scythes!" The hooded minion said, as a pair of scythes of iron appeared in his hands, rushing towards Markus with them in his hands.
"How's that? Never imagined Giro-sama´s men using Magic? Well, todays your lucky day, as you will fall victim to the great Tardo..." Tardo said, but his scythes were easily cut down as before he was cut down as well.
Another hooded minion, who had green hair rushed at him in anger.
"You bastard, you pay for that! Mark my name as Lerry on it!" Lerry said, before then his arms changed.
"Take-Over: Animal Arms: Scorpion!" Lerry said, his arms transforming into a pair of black scorpion pincers, before then charging towards Markus. The second Lerry came at him, with one swing, he easily cut Lerry down.
"No way..." Lerry said in shock, before then fell to the ground.
Another group of hooded minions send lightning bolts with their Lightning Magic at Markus, who blocked them with his large sword, using it as a shield, as it didn't do no damage to it whatsoever.
"No way, what the hell is that big ass sword made of?" One of the hooded men said in shock, not believing what they were seeing, before they were cut down as well.
The crowd watched in awe at Markus taking down Giro´s men, suddenly, a familiar trio entered the scene.
"Don't worry, Giro-sama, I, Gard and my men will take down for what he has done to us!" Gard said, riding on his white horse with Jimmy and Johnny running alongside him, holding a scythe.
"Die you motherfucker! You will pay for what you did to Jones!" Jimmy said, swinging his sword, which Markus easily took down, cutting his sword, and slashed his chest, killing Jimmy on the spot. Johnny tried to hit Markus with his club, but he easily dodged it, swinging his large, blue sword and cut off his head and arms.
"You´ll pay for that and for my eye, you bastard!" Gard said, thrusting his scythe, trying to stab him, only for him dodge it at the last second, then swinging his large sword, cutting the scythe and the horse´s head off!
"WHAT?!" Gard said in shock, before he was cut through his torso!
Gard's corpse fell off his now headless horse, which fell down behind Markus, who proceed to swing his sword, wiping the blood of the blade, before pointing it to Giro.
"You´re next, Giro." Markus said, and Giro smirked. "You talk such big words, boy. Especially after slaughtering just my men..." Giro said, and then Markus then jumped towards him, slashing him with his sword!
But Giro managed to block the attack with his spear, but this time the impact sent him flying off his horse, and crashed into a building, which was on fire!
Markus landed on the ground, was silent for a moment. The citizens were silent as they watched the scene.
"Don't tell me you are already down. Because I had a feeling..." Markus said, but then sudden burst came from the building, and a long, beastly, arm with claws and covered in white fur, came out, trying to grab Markus. But was able to jump away, grabbing instead the horse Giro was on.
The owner of the hand slowly came out the building, revealing more and more of his horrifying form.
Standing three times as tall, being almost big as a house, Giro now had dark grey skin, with white, flowing fur across his body, his ribs showing out, his face was now in the form of a wolf-snout with sharp teeth, long, dark, deer-like horns and his left arm being bigger than his right arm.
Those close to the scene, both the citizens and even Giro´s men were left in horror at what they were seeing right now.
"So, you finally shown your true form, Giro?" Markus said. "That´s right, boy. This form is something I haven't used in a while, and I am gladly looking forward to ripping you to pieces with it!" Giro said, as the horse was neighing loudly in panic and shock, before Giro proceeded to rip the horse in half, its entrails and blood falling to the ground, before he dropped the body halves, and then rushed towards Markus, his claws ready to slash.
Markus used his sword to block the attack, but Giro managed to push him forward, before he then sent one powerful swing, breaking his guard and sending him away.
The crowd was shocked, while Giro grinned, as she proceeded to jump towards Markus, trying to punch him, but he managed to dodge it as he jumped away. He tried to swing his sword, but Giro spun around and hit him with his tail, sending him crashing to a wall.
"MARKUS!" Dina screamed, as Markus coughed up blood and fell, which Giro punched him in the stomach, before Markus could reach the floor.
"Is that all?" Giro said, before grabbing Markus by the throat, holding him in the air. "This is the same infamous Red Swordsman, who had hunted us demons?" Giro said, holding Markus closer to his face.
"Ignorant Fool. The likes of you should know better than trying to stand against us demons. You humans are nothing but food to us. That's a simple rule of nature. Which is hard for you humans to get through your thick skulls." Giro said, and then slammed Markus down the ground, before bringing him back face to face.
"It's been nice knowing you, Red Swordsman. Sadly, this is where your story ends." Giro said, before throwing him towards a burning pile of wood, to the horror of the citizens, and the delight of Giro´s minions.
"NOOO!" Dina screamed in horror, but it was too late as Giro threw Markus into the flames, as he was immediately engulfed into them.
"No way..." Dina said, her knees on the ground, as Silva had her hands before her face, Ern had his eyes widen in horror, and Buck´s were eyes shadowed. "Our last hope, defeated that easily? Do the Gods really hate us?" Buck thought, as Giro then turned to the crowd, a large and wicked grin filled with razor sharp teeth, his red eyes glowing as the flames were burning behind him.
"Now then, were we? Oh right, to slaughter you all like the animals you are." Giro said, walking towards crowd, with his men surrounding them, pointing their weapons at them.
"I apologize it took so long. But don't you worry. I shall make sure to make your deaths slow and painful, so that all of us can enjoy our meal to the fullest." Giro said.
"If you want to enjoy it to the fullest, why did you finish me so quickly?" A sudden voice said, shocking Giro, Dina, Buck the minions and the crowd.
"What the...?" Giro said, as then suddenly, the flames around in the area began to move.
The flames were moving as if they were stains in the water being sucked down a drain, going all towards a same direction, all gathering into one spot.
The flames were sucked away from the burning building, leaving them black and charred, but still barely intact, as the flames went towards Markus...
...which went into his mouth!
"WHAT?! HE´S EATING THE FLAMES?!" Giro shouted in shock. The crowd of citizens watched in shock too, as none in the scene could believe what was happening.
"What kind of Magic is he using?!" A brown-haired minion shouted. "I never heard of Magic like that." Another blonde minion said.
"So, it's true..." Buck said. "Dad?" Silva said. "You know something about this, Grandpa?" Dina said. "I doubted at first, but there is no denying it. That man is a Fire Devil Slayer." Buck said.
"A Fire Devil Slayer?" Dina said. "An Ancient Magic that is different from any other, making the user able to create, fight and even devour flames. A Magic used to find and destroy humanity´s worst and most ancient enemy, Demons. I only seen this Magic once in my lifetime, and never thought I´d see it again." Buck said.
Markus, standing on the ground, looking at Giro in his demonic form.
"Judging from the blows he gave me, I say he must be a Rank Five demon for best." Markus thought, as a group of Giro´s minions came charging at him.
"You bastard, don't get too cocky!" Giro´s men charged at him, only to be easily cut down by Markus.
"You fools..." Giro said, his eyes shadowed at the idiocy of his men.

"What's the matter? I thought you said you were gonna eat me? Or did I make you lose your appetite?" Markus taunted, which Giro went to charge at him.
"Don't get cocky, boy!" Giro said, charging at him with his claws, as the grinning Markus held his sword prepared, which was then covered in blue flames.
Markus swung his blade at the group of minions, cutting them down in one swing.
The remainders of Giro´s men were trying to surround Markus, going at him at all sides, but as they did so, Markus managed to overpower them, cutting them all down with his large sword.
As Markus had taken down the last of Giro´s men, he pointed with his flaming great sword at Giro. "Now it's just only you and me, Giro." Markus said, his red cloak flowing in the wind, as Giro glared at him.
"Oh, what's the matter? Are you afraid to fight me solo, you overgrown puppy?" Markus taunted, and Giro charged him at right.
"You bastard!" Giro said, slashing with his claws at Markus, who grinned and blocked the strikes with his large sword in blue flames.
"This is what you got? I thought I disappointed you, not vice versa!" Markus taunted.
"SILENCE, HUMAN!" Giro said, as he proceeded to smash him with his large left arm. As he did so, Markus then pulled back his fist.
"And don't you worry, I got more than just my sword." Markus said, as his fist was then covered in blue fire.
"Fire Devil´s Hell Fist!" Markus said, before striking his fist, as it collided with Giro´s left arm, resulting in a bright and large explosion!

Giro roared in pain, as his entire left arm was destroyed, screaming in pain.
Without wasting any time, Markus, who had his sword on the ground, proceeded to swing it upwards to Giro, cutting off his right arm too! Markus proceeded to impale him through the chest, pinning him down the ground!
Giro grunted and coughed up blood, while Markus was now standing above The Wolf Demon, as Markus had his sword impaled in his chest.
"My arm and wounds won't heal... he really is using Devil Slayer Magic..." Giro thought, coughing up more blood, his foot on Giro´ face, his sword still impaled to him.
"Damn you…" Giro said, turning to Markus, who was grinning.
"I got you right where I want you, and now, I want to ask a few questions for you." Markus said, twisting his sword on his chest, bringing more pain to Giro.
"First question: where is Nightmare?" Markus asked. "W-what...?" Giro said in confusion and shock. "Don't play dumb. There is no way that you could have gained that form through Magic. I know Take Over Magic, and other kind of Transformation Magic, and the demons of the Underworld. Your form is different from any of it." Markus said.
"If there is able to grant you that power, it's gotta be Nightmare. Now, where is he?!" Markus asked, thrusting his sword deeper, making Giro scream again.
"Okay, okay! I met Nightmare three years ago, at a bar in Hargeon. He promised me power, as it would give me the power to become immortal! I don't know more than that, I haven't met him again since then! Please believe me!" Giro begged, pleading for his life.
"I see, three years ago huh? So that information is useless. And knowing the likes of you, you would have told me more information, as you would have told me to spare your life." Markus said, moving his sword inside Giro´s Chest. "Which wouldn't do any good to you." Markus said.
(Play Berserk ost Fear here)
"It cannot be... I am a demon. There is no way that a human like can stand against to me, or any demon at all! You humans weaker than even bugs! Whatever you do, a mere action would break every bone in your body." Giro said, as Markus then stomped on his face.
"If we break our bones, we break more bones. If it makes it us bleed, we just bleed more. If we are struggling, then we struggle more. We humans may be weak, but that's we make sure to keep going forward, whatever odds that comes before us. That what us humans." Markus said, taking out his sword.
"Wait! No! Don't kill me! Please, I'm begging you! I´ll do anything! Anything!" Giro pleaded, begging for his life. "And what words did your victims say, when they begged for mercy?" Markus said, as he then jumped away in the air, took a deep breath and then.
"Fire Devil´s Rage!" Markus said, as a stream of blue flames came out of his mouth, engulfing Giro in a sea of flames, who screamed at the top of his lungs while burning in the blue inferno.
Markus left the scene, while the corpse demonic body of Giro behind himself was blowing away as dust in the wind.
(End Berserk ost here)
"Well, that settles it." Markus said, looking around the village.
As most of its buildings were burnt, most of them were still intact.
"Well, good thing that Giro Bastard didn't burn any civilians. I never want to eat the flames that have been burning people." Markus thought, before he then to leave the town, but a sudden voice made him stop.
"Wait!" Dina said, as Markus then turned to see Dina, along with the other villagers, bowing down.
"What is it now? I thought you were mad at me? After all, I caused you all this trouble." Markus said.
"It's not that." Buck said, as he got up.
"It's true, our village was sent in such battle, with buildings destroyed and people killed." Buck said, as some of the villagers had angry looks on them.
"But that's what is to expect from a fight. Because without blood and sweat, one cannot afford to go through without that." Buck said. "And besides, even if you didn't come, Giro would sooner and later have slaughtered without survivors." Buck said.
"I am grateful for what you did for us. We will never forget this day." Ern said.
"I see." Markus said, as then Dina came rushing towards him, giving a bag of Jewels.
"But due to Giro and his using most of their money, and we are in need to repair for our town, we cannot have you leave without payment. So please accept this for our gratitude." Buck said, as Dina handed her over the bag.
Markus´s eyes were shadowed for a bit, and then turned away, without taking the bag.
"Keep it. I didn't want a reward either way; I already know that Giro were going to go all out. You need it more than I do." Markus said, leaving the town.
"Also, I left my bag of jewels at the dungeon for. Use the money as much as you want, as long it's for the good of this town." Markus said, his back turned to them.
"I see that boy has no greed." Buck said, as Dina dropped the bag and then rushing towards her.
"Mister Markus!" Dina said, as he stopped without turning to her. "Thank you! Thank you for freeing us!" Dina said, as Markus began to walk again, waving his hand without turning to her.
"I hope we met again!" Dina said. "Don't hope so. Because then, it will be when another demon attacks, and there will be a chance that another Devil Hunter comes." Markus said and turned to Dina.
"But let's hope not we meet because of that." Markus said, a small smile on his face, as Dina smiled as in return.
The townspeople of Daffofil Town watched as the young Devil Hunter leave.
"What a strange boy. What will this young man show the world for journey. The only one who can answer us that is none other than you, Markus." Buck said, and then went to shout.
"HEY BOY!" Buck yelled, making Markus stop and turn around, without saying anything.
"Don't get yourself killed." Buck said.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna die, not for a long time." Markus said in a low tone to himself, walking on the road into the forest, he then looked up in the star filled sky, with the large, glowing moon displayed fully.
"Now then, after I have done with some more demons, I think I should go to that guild I´ve been talking about..." Markus thought, getting his eyes back on the round.
"Fairy Tail…" Markus thought, walking through the road.
And with this, this concludes the first chapter of this story.
This is a story I have been thinking for a long time. I have wanted to write my Devil Slayer OC Markus, in this rewrite of Inner Power. But you are probably wondering how this is have to do with Inner Power. I am gonna tell you. I originally wanted to have Markus to be introduced in Inner Power, but as time went on, I lost interest in the story, due to many regrets I had in making it. And in case you wonder, yes, it's the same Nightmare who appeared in the original Inner Power.
So, I made this rewrite, about a young man named Markus, a mysterious and lonesome demon hunter, where he gains many enemies, but also allies, and eventually joins a certain guild. I wont reveal too much, as I don't want to spoil the fun for you.
I grew more onto this, as I wanted to do an improvement, like how Zack Snyder fixed the Justice League Movie with his own cut.
And as you probably guessed, this entire chapter, or the story, will be akin to Berserk, as this story will serve to continue Miura´s legacy, due to his death before he could finish this series. I do hope I can make this a better than what the Berserk 2016/2017 Anime could ever do in one episode.
Speaking of Berserk, With Kouji Mori now in charge of the manga, and seeing how good it is so far, I am looking forward to what happens, even if it has a month worth of hiatus.
There will be also references to games inspired by Berserk, like Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring and such.
Speaking of which, in case you wonder of Giro´s demon form, picture the Cleric Beast from Bloodborne.
For now, I will have the story to be continued to in an original Arc, known as the Red Swordsman Arc, but will go into Canon. I won't reveal it yet, as I will reveal later.
As you have seen and been warned, this will contain some violent and disturbing content, but I will make sure not to make it too disturbing.
As for Daffodil Town, "Daffodil" is a flower, following Fiore´s flower theme, as it means "Beginnings" or "New Beginnings" in the Language of Flowers, fitting as it's the first chapter of this story.
But as for now, see you all later, and please review, favorite, and follow.
