Kion, Rani, Kiara, and Kovu were sitting in the secret hot spring together and they were having a nice, relaxing time in it as always. Everyone in Kion's family were glad to see that Kion had all his memories restored to him, and that he would continue patrolling the Pride Lands as the leader of the Lion Guard again.

While relaxing, Kion was thinking of if the Lion's Bane will return and try to kill him one again. But, of course they will plot their revenge again, something smarter and make clever than their last attack.

Even most evil beings can learn from mistakes, and they can be more crafty and think of more clever ideas to fulfill their goals. Whatever that group had in store for him, Kion had to he ready for them of they were going to hit everything they got at him, along with everyone he loved and cared about. The water was bubbling warm and soothing for the lions to enjoy and it was nice they all have the spring to themselves.

"So Kion, are you still worried about the Lion's Bane and... you know." Kovu asked

"Yeah, but I know I can overcome them, Kovu." said Kion. "I just need a little help. Fighting them is toi big a job for just me and the rest of the Guard." then he buried his shoulders in the warm waters while sighing in relaxation. "Oh yeah, that feels so good." he breathed.

"That's true," Rani said. "Maybe if we had an army of us against those guys, they might lose morale and never bother us again."

"Heh, yeah, I can hope." Jasiri added. "They sound like nasty pieces of work."

"Well, i just got all my memories back, and I just want to relax for a little while and get that out of my head."

"Good idea, Kion." said Kiara proudly. "I knew this is a good place to help relieve stress."

"Until Pumbaa gets in here and farts in the water." Kovu joked. Then he she his closest acquaintances laughed with him. "If he finds out about the spring, I mean."

"Yeah, I would hate for that to happen, especially how he farted one time and how we spent the night outside of the rock. If he farted in this spring, I would he really mad."

"I don't think he will find it." said Kion. "They have their own swimming pool and I'm sure they just spend most of their time eating bugs or grubs under rocks."

"Good point." Rani said. she was silent for a moment and she ultimately remarked one minute later: "I haven't seen Ramses for a little while. Normally he's the kind of Lion that kills anyone if it meant achieving what he wants. Someone that can do anything to win, even if it means cheating in a game."

It did sound suspicious alright, for Ramses is a very vengeful animal, and he knew how to hold a grudge. Maybe that unhinged Lion was busy plotting something smart and crafty against Kion and his own friends. Still, Kion decided not to worry about it too much, because he knew it would make him a paranoid wreck. Another thing Kion knows is thay; he can run far faster than Ramses.

"Well, I can always scare him off with my Roar of the Elders to blow him away back into the Outlands. I don't think he will be a match for Adewale if they cross paths again."

"No, Ramses would probably get murdered by Ade." Kovu said. "Granted, Ramses might be able to land a few claws at Adewale, but he would still bet annihilated by that gigantic horn in the end.

"You know, I just had a thought," said Kiara, "what if Ramses joins the Lion's Bane?"

"Nah, he always thinks all animals are inferior to lions, and not as mighty and noble." Rani brushed off. "Besides, Ramses will probably just kill those guys in the end. Like I said: he will do anything to get whatever he wants, even if it means breaking the rules."

"We believe you." said Kion. "I might have said this before but, Ramses sounds more extreme than Scar."

"Heh. I agree." Kovu remarked, "Scar, from what I've heard from my mother, was a gentleman compared to Ramses. Scar hides his evil, but Ramses doesn't."

"Yeah, all I need to do is to just keep my guard up."

"Exactly, Kion." Kiara pointed. They all enjoyed the hot spring for about almost twenty minutes and they all decided to just get out and leave for the day. As soon as they got out, and dried themselves off, they went back to Pride Rock to relax and fo whatever it is they wanted to.

Kiara and Kovu were talking with Simba about another coronation practice with Ma Tembo and her herd of elephants. Young Kion was still happy to have his memories back , and rested against the rock wall next to the big spire where the stone staircase was. Little did he know that something was watching him out of nowhere.

A scary lion was right behind Kion while he wasn't looking, and it looked like he was about to kill the cub while not looking, maybe even eat him up in one bite. It was just then Vitani had gotten out of the cave with Zira, and she said: "well mother, I totally think that Kovu will be a good ki-" she paused and her demeanor quickly changed from calm to very shocked and scared as he saw Ramses the deranged lion himself just about to kill Kion, and opening his teeth so that he can chomp him down in one bite. "KION! BEHIND YOU!" Vitani screamed at the top of her lungs.

Kion perked his ears up and his eyes were wide. He immediately looked behind him and saw Ramses about to kill him. He growled loudly and Kion dodged a few swipes from his sharp claws. "Ragh! I almost had you in my grasp!" he exclaimed in frustration. "No matter, you'll be dead soon enough, Kion of the Lion Guard."

"Ramses?" Kion said, "how did you find me here?!"

"I was looking for you and I happen to come across you and your little family walking all the way here. Now I know where you live and I will have my revenge for sure!"

Some of the other lionesses noticed the commotion, and saw Ramses in their own home. A couple of them, including Tifu and Zuri charged at him with maximum ferocity, and they tackled the Rogue male.

While it looked like Ramses was having a little difficulty prying the four lionesses off of him, he managed to do so with his brute strength. Tifu and Zuri took it upon themselves to charge at Ramses again, and they were face-to-face with the crazy big cat, whom looked very ferocious with his deranged look. "Stand aside, you stupid girls." he snarled at them. "I will take my prize, as my own trophy and to have as my next meal."

"Fat chance!" Zuri exclaimed

"Yeah, you want Kion, you will have to go through us!" Tifu added. They swiped their claws at him repeatedly, and even backed him up a few times, but Ramses got the upper hand and pushed them in a single charge without ease, knocking them unconscious.

The remaining lionesses who were with Kiara's best friends tried biting on the deranged Lion, and it also had no avail. This lion's brute strength was certainly unnatural, and he threw the other two lionesses into the nearby rock wall, also knocked unconscious.

At last, the rest of the lions ganged up on Ramses, all standing to him and ready to fight him out of their turf. It was funny, it was like how a Pride of lions would do to a male intruder who wanted to usurped the original king and claim the power for himself. Of course, that's not really why Ramses came here in the first place. No, he came simply for revenge.

Serafina charged at him and swiped her claws at him a few times, which did a little effect, but Ramses gave her a more powerful claw to her face, knocking her down.

"Mother!" Nala cried out in horror. At last, she and Simba were face-to-face with Ramsees and Simba found himself rolling down the rocky steps of Pride Rock, and he clawed the deranged lion three times before Ramses kicked him off of him, then Nala came to her husband's aid and tried biting on Ramses' neck, with a few scores of blood dripping from the bite marks.

Despite how deep the bite was, Nala too, was no match either. Ramses threw her at Simba while using his back, then the other lions, minus Kion, crowded around the intruder and began clawing around him. Seeing that he was outnumbered, Ramses snarled and made a full-scale retreat into the Outlands in humiliation.

This situation was now under control and the lions who were hurt only received some slight bruises and small claw marks from the mentally unstable lion, but no broken bones of any kind. Kion was rather shaken that one of his nemeses had found him in his own home. Kion never would have even guessed that one of his enemies would come to Pride Rock and try to murder him like this.

Still, he was glad that Ramses was gone again. "Kion." Kiara rushed up to him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, Kiara." said the cub. "I'm just... surprised.

"We're just as surprised as you, my son." Simba said. "To think that a crazy Lion like Ramses would follow you all the way here to Pride Rock."

"I... I didn't mean to." said Kion, sounding a little guilty. He felt that Ramses following him all the way to Pride Rock was his fault. Some of the lions that fought against him already suffered some scratches and small wounds. "Guys, I'm so sorry. I... I didn't know that Ramses followed me like this. Gah! It's all my fault!" he cursed at himself in guilt.

"Kion, it's okay." said Adisa. "It wasn't your fault."

"Yeah, he just caught us by surprise." Nala added. "That's all."

"We're all just glad that you alright, dear." Zira added.

"Is everyone okay?" Kiara asked

"Just some minor scratches." Simba grunted. "That Ramses is very tough."

"He is relentless." Zuri said.

"I hope we can fight him and make him pay for this." Tiifu added.

"Well, Ramses is getting more crafty." said Vitani. "We should prepare ourselves for another attack if he tries sneaking her again."

"We'll deal with him, but for now, let him go." said Simba. "I need to tend to my wounds."

Kiara sat next to Kion and she felt more worried about his safety than ever before. It scared her so much that her own little brother was almost dead by Ramses and was about to be a predator's lunch. Still, she was glad he was okay.
