Ramses was back in the Outsllands, disgraced and humiliated once again. Some drops of blood were showing from the parts of his body that were bitten and clawed from all the lions back in Pride Rock had given him after failing to kill Kion in revenge. Still, he would be back for another attempt of revenge against the cub, and any other animal that would dare try to get in his way. All he needed to do was; come up with something smarter and more determined to try and fulfill his wish for revenge.
"Well, look what we have here." said a familiar voice. It was Harif, the honey badger and leader of the Lion's Bane, with the rest of his friends behind him. "You don't look so good there."
"Bah. You think?" Ramses was then thinking about probably regretting his decision to turn away from the offer the Lion's Bane had given him. Ramses is a very capable fighter, and a little unstable, he would probably need some help in destroying his enemies. "What do you all want anyway? Come to gloat in how torn up I like right now?"
"Nah, no way." said Makucha. "Look, Ramses, we have heard about you and we're sorry that Iion and the Pride Landers had defeated you again. We feel ourselves in your pawprints, and we have been humiliated to."
"Come on. We all hate Kion. Why won't you let us help you in killing him for you?" Mpishi asked him after.
"Ah, he probably still thinks that lions are better than everyone else." Tuma retorted.
"Of course we are, ape." said Ramses. "As I have mentioned to you all before: lions work alone." But, he was starting to regret what he repeated the last time he met this group.
"Look, we can help each other." Draak reasoned with him. "We fan start all over again and we can work together in getting what we want."
"Hasn't he done anything to you to make him hate him and want him dead so much?" Harif asked. "Kion would have done something to make you want to end his life."
Ramses was silent for a brief second and said: "well, I had a pride. I had everything I ever wanted before Kion and those meddlesome runts he called friends interfered." Some anger was boiling up inside of him just thinking about it. "I had power, respect, authority, and obedience in my Pride, but then the Lion Guard came and ruined my life!"
He then clawed at a lonely tree, making it fall down as if a lumberjack had cut it down with an ax. Admittedly, the whole group that was against the Lion Guard were a little scared by how powerful and unpredictable this unstable lion was. It sure looked like Ramses had a personal vendetta against those kids after foiling in his place a dozen times. "Well... we can see that." said Mpishi.
"Yeah, I know you can. Time and time again, those Lion Guard wannabes foil my plans and the Roar of the Elders has been given to that Kion for reason that I do not know."
"Like we said, you are more than welcome to join us against them and finally kill them." said Harif.
Silent again, Ramses closed his eyes and said: "if it will help me in my revenge, then... count me in."
The rest of the Lion's Bane smiled with hope. With Ramses on their side, there could possibly be no more intrusions of Kion's friends and family trying to intervene. Both Ramses and these Rogue animals were thinking of the same thing.
"Well, welcome to the team, Ramses." Makucha boldly said.
"Do not get yourselves too comfortable." the unhinged lion said. "I am the leader of this group, so what I say goes." He gave them all a stern and fearful look to let them know who's in charge of this outfit now. If there was one thing Ramses wanted, it would be power and dominance by how power-crazy he is.
"Well... I guess you really want to be leader but..." Harif sounded a little unsure, mostly because he sees himself as the leader of the Lion's Bane.
The unhinged lion walked up to him and clawed at him, possibly to make sure the honey badger got the memo of who the leader really is. The force of the swipe was powerful enough to make Harif fly into the far end of the watering home with a loud splash.
Everyone else looked even more scared than before, except for Draak, who realised that hippos are far bigger than lions. "Pah, what am I thinking, I don't have to he afraid of you." said the hippo.
"Oh really?" asked Ramses amusingly. Before Draak knew it, he felt Ramses climb on top of him with a single jump, and and he clawed at his back so hard that it felt like his claws were made of hot, burning steel.
"Gah! That hurts!" said the hippo. "Okay! Okay, you're the boss."
He then went over to the watering hole to soothe the claw marks. "I thought so." Ramses looked amused, and looked at the other members of the Lion's Bane sternly. "Anyone else want to complain?"
The remaining animals all said that they had no complaints, and they looked very nervous and scared. "You're the boss and what you say goes." Makucha said. Normally, he wasn't scared, but Ramses' instability was one of the exceptions.
"That is what I thought." The unhinged Lion sounded satisfied. "Now, we all have one goal, to kill Kion and anyone who dares stand in our way. As the new leader, I declare that whatever is dead and ready to be eaten, I get the first bites."
Meanwhile, some black mist cloud was forming and the cloud grew a little bigger it became more and more like a shape of a black lion. Some lion looking a little ghost-like and wicked since some black aura was forming around his body. He had eyes that blazed like fire in the grass, and he looked rather evil.
"At last," said the thing, "I am finally free. Now to claim what is mine. Simba and Nala will never know what will hit them. Mwahahahahahahaha!"
