Mufasa was sensing that something was bound to happen in due time. He didn't exactly know what it was, but he knew deep down that; something was wrong in the atmosphere. Still, it was a little out of his paws to fix any problems going on in the Pride lands below him right now. He thought that maybe Kion and his friends and family could help him out a little bit. Speaking of which, they were stopping Reirei and her jackal family once again, and the battle had won.

"And stay out!" Bunga shouted at those scummy jackals. "Or we will put the real hurt on you!" He even spat in the jackals direction.

Kion and his friends were very happy to save a group of sable antelope from the pesky jackals like this, and the alpha Male, Togo, said to them all: "thank you kids so much. How can me and my all repay you?"

"No need to do that." said Fuli. "Your thanks is a perfect reward."

"Well, I think there is still so much to do, guys." Kion said. "Let's go see if there is any more trouble."

The sable antelopes then said bye to the kids and Ono was looking above the area with his very food eyesight. It took a little about ten minutes in this patrol, but what the cattle egret saw next, set his heart beating like a drum.

Below him was the Lion's Bane, and... Ramses with them all well. "Guys! It's the Lion's Bane again!" He called out to his cohorts on the ground. He looked back st the enemies and saw that Chikelu, Kifaru, and the other members of the alpha's crash were fighting off this gang of lowlifes.

"Gotcha, Ono. Lead the way!" Kion called from below. Everyone else followed to where Ono was flying towards and they all encountered the stronger enemies of the Pride Lands, and they were rather shocked to see Ramses hanging out with this scum. "Ramses?" Kion looked shocked.

"Surprised to see me, children?" asked the deranged lion.

"You're with the Lion's Bane now?" Beshte asked, sounding confused.

"Yes. They are now acquaintances of mine. I might as well have some extra help in killing Kion, and the rest of your friends."

"Over my dead body!" Kifari shouted in anger. "If you want to get Kion, you will have to get through me first!"

"Son, no." said Chikelu. "Please don't."

"Well, you're a brave rhino calf." said Draak.

"Yes, we'll give you credit for that." Harif added.

"Alas, that kind of mouth will only get you killed, boy." Ramses smiled wickedly. "Whether you are fill of heart or not." Looking back at his new cronies, he said to them: "my friends, you can have the rest of the Lion Guard for all I care, but Kion," he looked at the leader with a wicked smile before finishing: "is mine." He gritted his shiny, sharp teeth and he lunged towards Kion.

Kifaru and Chikelu went to the kids' aid and helped them out against the Lion's Bane, and their new leader. Kion managed to bite down on Ramses' right paw, making him yell in pain. "You go, Kion!" said Kifaru, cheering for his friends.

"You insufferable cub! Is it that hard for me to kill you?! Is it?!"

At last, Ramses pushed Kion off and he was madder than ever. Suddenly, he felt a white rhino charge and knock him to the ground, but he got up and tried clawing his eyes, but Ono managed to claw the deranged lion by clawing behind his man and back.

"You will suffer for that, you winged vermin!" Ramses said.

The Lion Guard was putting up a good fight against the Lion's Bane, and they were fighting with all their strength. Kifaru was fighting off Makucha, and the calf even made a powerful charge at the leopard to fly off-course and hit against a rock, and it obviously hurt. Kifaru had a rather small horn, considering that he was a calf, but he still had strength of a True rhinoceros.

Mpishi was fighting against Fuli, and the cheetah kitten was smart enough to trick the harrier hawk into chasing her into a circle and making her dizzy.

Bunga was fighting Tuma, and he was trying to lock arms with the gorilla. "Come on, Bunga, a honey badger cannot hope to best a gorilla like me." Tuma grunted as he was still trying to put himself against Bunga.

The honey badger was right and a new idea came into his head. He turned his butt around and passed gas in Tuma's face, making him gag and feel intoxicated by the honey badger's fart. "How do you like that?"

"That's disgusting!" Tuma gagged as he was holding in his mouth. Beshte was fighting off against Fraak, and shouted: "what is your problem? We haven't done anything wrong!"

"Yeah, why can't you just leave my friends alone?!" Kifaru added.

"I can kill whoeover I want!" Draak added before squaring off against the rhino and hippo calf. Despite being bigger than the two kids, he felt them push him over together into the dirt, making him land over a nearby mud puddle.

Meanwhile

Pride Rock was peaceful as can be, and Simba was sitting with Nala at the edge of the pillar outside of the cave that acted as a throne. "You ever think Kion and his friends will get in trouble someday?"

"Nah. Kion's a good kid. He knows better about causing trouble. "He is a special boy."

"I agree." Nala concurred. Suddenly, something wasn't right in the air and black miss was slowly forming up in the center of Pride Rock cave. This black figure was like an evil aura or shadow that seemed like a very dangerous adversary in a fight. This... terrible black aura was getting bigger and bigger until it reached the size of a full-grown lion. As a matter of fact, it revealed to form a lion that looked evil and sinister. He was about the size as a regular lion, but he had a black belt on his skin and red eyes, glowing like forest fire. Some of the other lions noticed this and tried confronting him.

"Who are you?" asked Tiifu and Zuri.

"I am someone who cannot wait to get sweet revenge on Mufasa." said the shadow lion. His voice sounded rather smooth, like a calm river stream or an ocean at the beach.

"What is going-" Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Vitani, and Zira came in the cave and were all startled by the appearance of this black, ghostly lion. "No!" Gumball shouted in horror. It was like all of his strength had completely left him with no other form of defense. "Inuwa?!"

"Simba, it has been a long while since we have last met. You a king, you are grownup now."

"Inuwa, how did you get out and... what do you want from us?"

"I want to get rid of you, now where's Mufasa?"

"He's dead." Nala barked.

"No matter." Said Inuwa. "It is time for a little... change of pace here in the Pride Lands." His evil grin did not go away,

"Who is this guy?" Asked Kiara.

"Well, Kiara," Simba cleared his throat before explaining: "... when I was a cub, there was an evil lion who was Inuwa right here. My father and Scar, along with the original Lion Guard, fought him and defeated him. But, I thought he was gone for good?"

"Heh heh heh, Simba, Simba Simba." Inuwa teased. "I am never really gone. All your father and uncle did was destroy my original body. But now, I manifested myself in this form after a long time. So now, I am out for revenge."

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Zira readies her claws.

Inuwa just laughed evilly, and he was ready to face his own enemies.

Meanwhile in the Pride Lands

Kion was still fighting the Lion's Bane again with the combined forces of Chikelu, his son, and his crash of rhinos against them. In a distance, Imari the eland, and his heard noticed the fighting, and the kids, realizing there was something wrong. "My family, we have to help them."

The other eland behind him agreed greatly, and the eland charged at the Lion's Bane from causing any more trouble. At last, the group of evil animals realized they were greatly outmatched and Ramses growled before shouting to his new friends: "fall back! Retreat! Back to the Outlands now!"

The other members of the enemy group were more than happy to hear that, and Makucha even said: "way ahead of ya!" Before the Lion's Bane retreated back to the Outlands. The Lion Guard cheeredx along with the group of eland and rhino, knowing another battle had won. "We did it!" said Kion.

"Are you kids alright?" Asked Chikelu

"Yeah, we're okay." the leader of the Lion Guard replied.

"Those guys mean business." Kifaru said. "What are we going to do?"

"All we can do is fight and make sure they do not cause any more trouble, my son." The leader of the crash replied.

"He's right." said Fuli. "Thank you all so much for your help." she addressed to the eland and rhinos

"We are very glad to help our friends." Imari smiled. "We are must glad that toy kids are alright."

"Well, I think our work here is done." said Kion. "I think there will be no more trouble."

"For now, yeah." Kifaru agreed.

The Lion Guard decided to disband for one day and it was another successful patrol today. As Kion went home, he fought so hard and felt tired from all that fighting. He could hardly wait to relax and enjoy himself.

He felt a little thirsty and decided go go to the nearest waterhole to get himself a drink. He drank for ten minutes and when he looked up at the sky, he saw that instead of it being blue, it was blood red, something very downright. It was certainly not like the sky to be like this at all. He thought if maybe he was hallucinating a little and decided go just splash his face with the cool water before realizing he wasn't going crazy.

"Odd." He said to himself. "Eh, maybe my family will know." Then he went back to Pride Rock, and saw that it was a little empty with no lioness in sight. He knew that something was a little wrong in the air.

He felt his spine tingling down his back just thinking about what ould be wrong in the atmosphere. Still, he went inside the cave and there was no one in sight.

"Hello?" He called out in the cave. "Dad? Mom? Kiara? Anyone in here?" There was no answer. In the shadows of the cave, a pair of red eyes, the color of fire and blood appeared behind him and it a set of teeth was showing in an evil smile.

"Ah, Kion. You're back." said a familiar voice. It was Simba, although something seemed a little off with him. Kion looked a little scared but was greatly relieved to see his father.

"Oh. Dad. It's you." He said. He noticed the red in his eyes. "Are... are you okay, dad?"

"Of course I am." He was slowly creeping towards his own son with a sly smile. It was slowly starting to scare Kion a little bit. "So how was your patrol?"

"It was... fine." Suddenly, he felt someone behind him. It was Kiara, mooning down on him and towering him. She too, had red, glowing eyes. She knelt down and laid next to him while gently cuddling him next to her face.

"Good. I'm always happy to see you, baby brother." she Kiara.

"Guys, are you okay?" Kion started to look uneasy

It was just then, Nala appeared and laid on her belly, in front of her own son and daughter. "Of course we are, Kion. Are you alright?" She had a somewhat evil smile on her face.

"We just feel great," said Kovu's voice before he, Vitani, and Zira appeared before him, also having red eyes and evil smiles.

"Okay, I have no idea what is going on here." Kion said.

"What do you mean, kiddo?" Asked Vitani with an amused look on her face.

The cub scooted away from Kiara a little bit and he slowly backed away. "Guys, you're starting to scare me now." He said. "Come on. I think there is something wrong here. And... I need to help Rani with... her hunting." He laughed nervously before running outside frantically. He was suddenly stopped by the other lionesses and Cubs that all looked brainwashed by something as well.

"Where are you going, Kion?" said Adisa. "You just came home."

"And we missed you so much." Serafina added. He backed away from the lionesses and he heard the sound of evil chuckling from his family behind him.

"Come on guys, please don't hurt me." Kion was beginning to shake now

"Oh come on, Kion." said Kiara. "Don't be afraid. We're your family. Now come here and let me give you a hug." She showed her sharp teeth in her evil smile.

"That's very nice of you, big sis." Kion had that nervous smile back on. But... I... Yaaahh!" he panicked and ran away with great speed.

"After him!" Simba barked. He, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Vitani, and Zira were all chasing and gaining on him in this chase. Kion looked behind him, and he had never felt so scared in his entire life. He was looking over his shoulder for any hiding places from his seemingly possessed family, and he ultimately found a cave nearby, and decided to hide in there. His brainwashed family was on his heels, and he needed to hide fast.

Seeing the cave, he recognized it as the same cave with all the beautiful jewels within that he was helping his parents with. Of course, he had no time to admire it's beauty. He went deeper in the cave and he hastily looked for a gold hiding place. At last, he saw a crack in the wall that he could hide in so his brainwashed family wouldn't be able to see him.

He heard the sound of footsteps and he hoped that they wouldn't be able to see him. "He couldn't have gone far." said Kiara. "He's here somewhere."

"We'll split up." Kovu said. He went to one corridor, Vitani ob the second, and Kiara at the third.

Kion kept himself as quiet as he could so that he wouldn't be found. His heart was pounding uncontrollably and he tried peaking at the wall where he could see them if it was clear or not.

For a few long minutes, he was very quiet in the small hole in the wall and he didn't hear any footsteps. He looked again and no one was seen looking for him. "This is probably a dream." he thought to himself. He then got out of the hole and carefully sneaked his way to the long corridor with many jewels shining inside.

He did see anyone in this corridor, and there was no sign of his family anywhere.

Kion then took a breather in between a couple of rocks ti regain his strength. He sighed and suddenly, there was a female voice that sang softly. "Peek-a-boo." From behind him. And it revealed to be Kiara, still looking evil with her red eyes. "I see you."
