Bunga was in the secret room within Rafiki's tree of life, along with Timon and Pumbaa, who were comforting him about what happened with Kion. "I can't believe I let this happen." said the young honey badger. "It's all my fault that Kion is captured.

"Bunga!" Rafiki noticed him, the warthog, and the meerkat come inside the room. "What happened out there? Did something happen?"

The small honey badger looked guilty and a tear escaped his eye right eye. "Kion got captured." Then he buried his fare in his own legs. "Bus family captured him. And... it's all because of me!"

"Come on, Bunga, it's not your fault." said Timon. "Me and you uncle Pumbaa have known you since you were a baby and you would never put Kion in danger like that."

"But it was my fault!" Bunga shouted, having more tears escape his face. "All because of my stupid bladder! Stupid, stupid, stupid!" and he began to cry even harder. "If it wasn't for me, Kion would still be here, and not captured!"

"Bunga, Bunga, Bunga!" Beshte tried to calm him down. "Slow down, what happened?"

Pumbaa cleared his throat and he answered: "Simba, Nala, and their family were brainwashed and turned evil. They wanted Kion for some reason, and Kion ran away, and his family came chasin' after him."

The rest of Kion's friends sounded shocked to hear that. "Oh my gosh." said Fuli. "I can't believe this."

"I know. And it's my fault."

"Now now, Bunga." Rafiki comforted him, "you did not see it coming. There was probably nothing you could have done. If you would have tried anything, you would have probably been killed by Kion's brainwashed family."

"Are you kidding me?!" Fuli said. "It is Bunga's fault! Hik and his stupid bladder control!"

"Fuli!" Rafiki snapped at the cheetah, giving her a scary angry look at her. "This is no time to point fingers, or claws, or hooves at one another! Now, we will get Kion back, and turned his family back to normal."

"How?" Asked Ono. "We might be the only ones unaffected by this dark magic brainwash sorcery that Inuwa is causing."

"Maybe so," said Rafiki. "But numbers do not always win in a fight or a battle. Children, there is always a small glimmer of hope and a glimmer of light in times of severe darkness. You just have to believe in the light, and never give up."

"Are you sure?" asked Kifaru. "Even if it looks really bad out there?"

"Yes, Kifaru. It may look very dark and grim outside, but as I have mentioned: there is alwaysa a spark of light in the darkest of darkness. And, always have faith in Mufasa, Sarabi, and the kings and queens of the past. They will help guide us, and show us the way."

The kids, Timon and Pumbaa looked a little uncertain about this. At first, Timon and Pumbaa used to scoff, but they weren't laughing at that anymore. No. Thanks to them spending some time with Simba, and in the Pride Lands, these two best friends were starting to believe in it a little more. "Well, Rafiki," said Timon, "you might be nuts many times, but I guess we believe ya on this."

"Yeah, no matter how crazy it sounds, we can rely on those dead kingdom and queens."

The old baboon laughed, and he said: "you two are not the only ones to call me crazy or insane. I have been called that countless times before in my life. My point is, we will get Kion back. For I am getting close to a plan."

"Well, I hope that's soon." Kifaru said. "Who knows what Inuwa will do with him?"

"Kion's tough." Bunga said "I've been best friends with him for a long time, and he is very tough. Almost as tough as me." And he looked guilty again. "But I should just stay here." He sat down again and turned away from the group, ashamed of himself. "I'll just mess things up again like I did before."

"Bunga, come on," said Ono. "Don't be so hard on yourself."

"Yeah, I didn't mean what I said." Fuli admitted. "I was just upset and surprised."

"No, you guys can help save the Pride Lands without me." then he sighed in shame. "I probably don't even deserve to be in the Lion Guard anymore."

"Oh Bunga," said Beshte sympathetically. "We all make mistakes. No one is perfect."

"Yeah, but what if it's the end of the world because of me? I'll be remembered as Bunga, an animal worse than Scar."

"Don't say that, Bunga." said Kifaru. "Rafiki said he will do something about this."

"Indeed. Just have faith." Rafiki said. "Wait... I have something that could help us. Mufasa is trying to tell me something, now be quiet for a few seconds. Everyone was silent and Rafiki closed his eyes to listen to what Mufasa had to say to him by blowing wind inside the tree. "What? But... that doesn't sound right, Mufasa."

It was silent again, but Rafiki sought and ultimately gave in to what the deceased king had to say.

"Well... I guess it could work for us. After all, those three do not affiliate themselves with Scar anymore. Hmm-mm. Very well." He turned to the rest of the group, and he addressed: "kids, have you all heard of this saying: the enemy of my enemy is my friend?"

Everyone replied yes, except for Bunga, which was not really surprising. "I've heard of it." said Fuli. "Why?"

"Because we are going to need some help in trying to stop Inuwa and his evil from spreading like a plague." Rafiki answered. "There are many animals unaffected by the dark magic this demonic lion has unleashed in the Pride Lands. If we are to make this plan work precisely, we will need all the help we can get."

"I think I know where we can find some friends." Kifaru said.

"So do I." Beshte added. Everyone knew what to do and they went out of the secret laorz minus Bunga, who still felt like he would mess things up. "Bunga, are you coming?" the young hippo asked

"No. I think I've done enough."

"Bunga, don't feel so bad about yourself." said Ono.

"Come on, we need you." said Fuli.
