Kion continued struggling in getting out of Inuwa's black cocoon with little to no avail at just relaxed to save his strength, for he realized the more he struggled, the more tired he would become. "Kion, we understand that you are scared," said Kiara. "And it is perfectly natural to be like that."

"But you really should chillax, kid." Vitani added. "There is nothing to worry about."

"Guys, just please let me go and fight the evil that Inuwa has created in you guys. Just let me go."

"So you can run away from us again?" Simba said woth his right eyebrow raised. "I think not! We're not falling for any of your clever tricks.'

Inuwa came back in the cave and he said: "And I am certain that my evil magic cannot be broken so easily. The only way to revert them back to their normal selves is for me to die."

Kion growled, and he barred his teeth in anger. "Then let me out so I can kill you right now?!" he exclaimed.

"Kion, no!" Rani tried to stop him from doing anything more irrational and careless. She knew that if her own boyfriend angered Inuwa enough, he would probably kill off the cub and maybe even her too if he wanted to deal away with her as well. Or worse; he could sick Kion's own family on her and rio the skin off her flesh without a second thought (or if Inuwa says otherwise).

Inuwa narrowed his eyes and said: "Silence!"

The male cub still had an angry and hateful look on his face, just ready to tear his face up like paper for turning his own family against him, and his own friends.

"I could just kill you now, if you want." The black lion said flatly in a more calm voice.

Realizing that, indeed, the cub would rather die than be a servant fo this evil cat, but again, he wondered who will stop him and his magic if he dies now. Not even Rafiki would stand a chance against Inuwa, along with the fact that; the baboon is not at young as he used to be. "Please don't kill me. Or Rani," he urged him with a pleading on his face. "And don't hurt her, either."

Inuwa smiled wickedly again, and he said: "good. I appreciate you listening to reason..." he wss timing of something rather sinister, and he barked; "Tiifu, Zuri!" in an instant, Kiara's own two best friends walked up to their new master, and red was glowing in their eyes.

"Yes, Lord Inuwa?" they said while smiling evily.

"I need you to guard tbe entrance while I give Kion a chance to... stretch his legs."

"But, my lord," Kovu said, "what if he runs away again?"

"No need to worry, Kovu. After the rather long chase you all endured to capture him, Kion is still a little weaker now. Legs sore, out of breath,"

Kion didn't want to admit this, but he knew that the dark lion was right. His legs felt like pudding a little bit, and he was in no condition to run a dozen or many miles or kilometers from his own home tk get away from Inuwa. Suddenly, he saw Inuwa's eyes flash a crimson red, and tbe tarry cocoon vanished into black mist. If only he could get out of this cave he called home, but Zuri and Tiifu might beat him up for trying to escape.

If he just ran off again, Inuwa will just pursue him again and his family would hurt him. He was on his legs again, and they felt a little sore after all that running. "Gah! I feel aches in my legs."

"Do not overuse it, Kion," Nala said. "You are tired and you have no where else left to go."

"Yes, resistance is futile." Zira added. "Run away again, and the punishments inuwa shall be giving you will be worse than now."

"Right you are, Zira." Inuwa agreed with her. "But do not worry, Kion, you will become the perfect protégé, IF that is, you behave here."

"Why would Kion behave for an evil scumbag like you?" Timon said. "He is not dumb! He knows not to trust an evil lion like you!" He and Pumbaa stuck their tongues out at Inuwa, throwing raspberries at him spitefully.

"Yeah, evil lion!" Pumbaa added. "And yo mama is so ugly that-!"

"SILENCE!" Inuwa snapped at them with a thunderous yell. "you morons dare to criticize me like that in such tone? Both of you... misfits, will learn respect in your leaders and superiors."

"Nevermind them," Simba said. "Those guys are just a liability."

"Ouch. That hurts, Simba." Pumbaa said.

Yeah. It really hurts." Timon added. "After all we have done for you from the day we found ya as a cub, and this is how you repair us for our kindness?" A tear escaped Timon's right eye.

"Don't listen to him, guys." Kion said. "My dad is turned evil, remember? He doesn't really mean all that stuff."

"That's enough out of these two." Inuwa said, using his magic to create a fold of black magic, two of them to be exact, and the next thing Timon and Pumbaa remembered was; feeling their mouths being taped shut. They couldn't talk at all, for tjis substance prevented them from doing so.

Timon and Pumbaa looked very confused at what just happened with them. "Hmm? Hmph!" Timon grunted.

"Hmmff!" Pumbaa added.

"Just a little something to shut you both up." Inuwa said to them both.

"Thank you, my lord." Nala said. "They can be so annoying."

Both meerkat and warthog looked offended, but they took Kion's word when he said it is not really her talking like that. Both these best friends know that Simba and Nala would never think badly of them both like this. Alas, they realized that there is nothing they could do to get free from these substances holding them down.

"Please don't hurt Kion." Rani begged the evil lion.

"Oh relax, child. I will not lay a harmful claw on him. That is... as long as he behaves himself of course."

Kion looked at the entrance out of the cave, where Tiifu and Zuri were guarding it to prevent him from escaping again. He was vastly outnumbered. There was about four of him against twenty or thirty lions that are under the influence of Inuwa's demonic magic. Trying to escape would br absolutely certifiable. The only way he would be able to escape is for Rafiki and other free animals to come to his aid once again, but he, unfortunately, didn't know when his allies will come and save him.

He sighed and looked at the evil lion behind all of these problems occurring right now. "Inuwa," he said, "is this what you want? To be the new lord of these lands and rule it with an iron paw?"

"Yes. It is what I want the most." Inuwa said. "These lands need a proper ruler, Kion. Someone with strong leadership skills and one to have what is rightfully his. And with you as my protégé, we will be unstoppable."

Everyone thay was brainwashed chuckled evily at the idea.

"Besides, you can be here with your family, and never be separated from them again. With you on my side, you can have anything you ever want and more. Now, I know you said, no one wants anything they want, but I can assure you; that is completely not true."

"Oh. Isn't it?" Kion asked with his left eyebrow raised.

"Of course not. No one will question your ability to use your power. Perhaps you should spend a little time with your family here."

"Don't worry, my lord, we'll take care of him." Kiara said, walking in front of Kion and standing next to her new master. She grinned evil, and Kion looked very uneasy, but still tried not to show he was scared when he actually is. "Just try not to do anything funny, little brother." she addressed him.

The cub sighed, and he said: "I'll keep that in mind, Kiara." and he bowed his head. "Just don't hurt me. I beg you."

"Relax, Kion." she said in a soft voice. "We will help you understand why it is good to be evil."

"While you get with your family, Kion, I am going to look for more animals to join me and help me rule over these lands." he turned into mist again and went off into the Pride Lands in the sky to turn more animals evil with his wicked magic.

Kion had a few tears escape his eyes and he knelt his head down as the tears dripped on the ground like a drizzling day. He then dropped on his belly, as if he had given up hope. Kiara had a look of sympathy on her face, even though she has a glowing red in her eyes and that she was turned evil. "I don't know what else to do." he said to himself

"Oh Kion, what's the matter." she laid on her belly and sat in front of her little brother.

"I think I failed." Kion said. "I never thought things would happen this way."

"Kion, look at me." said Kiara. She gently used her left paw to move his head upwards to stare at her evil, red eyes. "There is nothing to be afraid of."

"But, I lost you guys." Kion let more tears escape his eyes. "I... I've faced so many dangers in my life as leader of the Lion Guard, but... you guys? I don't know what else to do."

"Shhh, don't cry, Kion." Kiara said, gently pulling him in for a hug. Even evil, her body still felt warm against the cub. Kovu joined in and decided to help Kion cheer up.

"Come on, Kion. You will love this." said the future king of the Pride Lands. "There is nothing to be afraid of."

"I told you, I am not afraid." Kion kept being in denial once more. He got away from Kiara and ran into where Rani was being held captive in her cocoon, along with Timon and Pumbaa, who still had their mouths clamped shut by the black substance. He curled up into a ball and he kept telling to himself, "I'm not afraid, i'm not afraid, i'm not afraid." and he repeated over an over again.

"Kion, Kion, calm down." said Rani

"I'm not afraid, Rani." Kion replied to her. At last, after what he was going through, he couldn't deny it any longer, and he ultimately said while opening his eyes, "I AM afraid."
