Kion was trying so hard to escape from his brainwashed family once again, and he found himself being menacingly backed away by Kiara, who was growling while smiling evily. It looked that he wanted to eat him and Kion knew that he couldn't outrun his mind-controlled sister (and his legs were still tired from tbe previously long chase).

The cub stumbled backward and tripped, landing on his back, but he immediately got back up and behind Kiara was a small battle that commenced between good and evil. The Lion Guard was fightinf with the brainwashed lionesses.

Some of the hyenas were helping them, reminding them of when they first fought the lions during the day Scar died. For the wils dogs, they were fighting off some possessed jackals and hoofstock that one would find on the African plains. These dogs didn't have trouble with trying to take on some of their average-sized opponents.

However, when it came to possessed eland, kudu, and Cape Buffalo, that was more of a challenge. They had little to no choice but to fight for their lives. Luckily, Adewale, and hif family of Emela-Ntouka had arrived to help out their friends and allies.

"Come on, Kion." Kiara said. "Don't be scared. You look like you have seen a ghost again."

"I have seen ghosts before, Kiara." Kion pointed out. "And i know that not all ghosts are evil. You have seen Grandma Sarabi's spirit before, remember?"

"Of course I do, little brother." she replied. "I was there when you saw her."

Suddenly, Kion found himself backed up to a rock that prevented him from backing away even further from Kiara. "Please, stop. Don't eat me."

"Oh hush, silly. I won't eat you. I just need to make you fall asleep and get you in my grasp so you won't be able to get away again." She was growling again, and she was baring her fangs, glistening with the saliva around them.

Poor Kion gulped and he hoped that his own sister won't eat her. She slowoy edged her mouth towards his head and it made his heart beat faster than before. It looked like she was really going to eat hik this time, however, she immediately backed her head away and laughed.

"Oh I can't believe you fell for that." she said. "But seriously, the least I can do is this." she raised her front paws and pressed them on the back of Kion. "Try to escape and i will have no choice but to claw you."

The cub was nowhere near as strong as Kiara, and trying to escape on top of him was futile. "I wosh my legs weren't so tired." Suddenly, he thought of an idea in his head. It was something rsther original. He looked at the closest finger and took the chance to bite it with his teeth like a snapping turtle in the bayou.

"Ow!" Kiara yelled. It made her let him go and Kion was trying to run again.

Akilah, and a couple of other wild dogs noticed this, and charged at Kiara. Tackling her to the fround. There was up to six of the painted canines were pinning her done and they were biting her and pinning her face.

Despite their valiant effort, Kiara grabbed hold of a female wild dog's right law with her mouth and used her strength to throw her off, and clawed a male wild dog in the face with her own paw while roaring. "Get away from him!" Akilah exclaimed before biting down on Kiara's neck. It was rather unfortunate that wild dog teeth were not as powerful as a lion or hyena's teeth, despite being the best hunters in the animal kingdom.

"You dogs are starting to annoy me!" Kiara exclaimed in frustration. She ultimately flung a few dogs off of her and only Akilah was left trying to subdue her. He locked his teeth tight on her neck and didn't let go. Ultimately, Kiara tried resulting in bashing him against a nearby boulder, and it ultimately worked after four times. Akilah yelped and made a little whining sound, but he got back up.

"You lions might be stronger than us dogs," the leader said. "But we are still better hunters than you!"

"Come over here and say that to my face!" Simba said before jumping on Akilah, and trying to claw him. The leader of the wild dog pack bit on Simba's nose and Veya rushed to her lovers' aid. Suddenly, she was pounced by Nala, who began clawing her face multiple time, but Akilah clawed at the brainwashed queen's face, and Veya got back on her feet, fighting off a few lionesses with about ten of other dogs on her side.

"Are you okay, Veya?" asked Akilah.

"Of course. I suffered worst pain, Akilah."

The patriarch of the dog pack smiled with relief. "Good."

It was just then more storks, cranes, hornbills, and other birds that were brainwashed by Inuwa's magic tried swooping down, but they were easy to dodge and reprimanded by the flying birds that still had their free will.

In a small distance, Adewale came to help every one of the heroes with his large family of Emela-Ntouka with him and charged over to any animal that had their eyes glowing red with evil and took down a couple of hippos and hoofstock without hesitation.

Inuwa came down and heard the commotion, and the Lion's bane came downstairs, hearing the noises of fighting as well. "What? Reinforcements for Kion?" he said.

"Well, this is a surprise." Ramses said. "A rescue party for Kion."

"And I see that those Emela-Ntouka have returned as well." Inuwa added. "I'll deal with this chaos." He used his powers to claw and swiped at any enemies trying to stop and subdue him. This was going to be an interesting, but long battle in the Pride Lands.
