This fight between dogs, hyenas, and brainwashed lions was getting very fierce and it was going to get even more fierce. Now Inuwa knows that a rescue party is here to help Kion out, he will do anything to stop them from saving the cub. The dark lion knew how to handle hyenas of all five species, and how to handle wild dogs. Suddenly, there was a small rumbling heard as if a small earthquake erupted and it was slowly getting more and more powerful every second, and it felt like a stronger earthquake. Was it elephants? Or was it rhinos or hippos? No. A large group of ginormous mammals with the colors of green, aqua, brown, indigo, and even blue rushed over in a full-charge run. Large, humongous, intimidating with many of them having one single gigantic horns longer than a rhino's horn and as long as a trunk on a tree, it was Adewale and his Emela-Ntouka family.
Inuwa looked over the horizon and he looked a little surprised. "What?" he said. "Those brutes again?" he growled and readied himself. "No matter, I still have many large mammals under my spell as well."
A dozen other lions noticed the Emela-Ntouka coming and they charged back at the gigantic, majestic beasts, and it was slowly becoming a full-scale war zone. Kion noticed more chaos erupting and he was running away from his brainwashed family once more. Of course, while running, his limbs still felt sore from running a long distance to safety before. "Come on, Kion." said a voice, it was Kifaru, coming to his aid, "you can do it. I know you can. You're Kion of the Lion Guard. Just try and get moving."
"But, my family's is brainwashed under Inuwa, and I am nowhere near as powerful as him. Maybe I should just..."
"Come on." said Kifaru, encouraging him once again. "It's not over."
Kion sighed and he replied: "What can I do to stop him? I am powerless against Inuwa."
"But, you have the Roar of the Elders, you can use it against him."
"well I don't think it will be enough to stop him, Kifaru. I just want this to end." He sounded like he was about to give up on everything just because he was probably outnumbered when it comes to any remaining allies.
"Don't talk like that." said Chikelu, who came to Kion's aid, "My son speaks wisely. You have the blood of the ancient kings of the past coursing through your veins. I know it looks awful, but we will help you defeat Inuwa and save the whole Pride Lands from his evil, awful influence over this plain."
Kion was silent, and his other friends came up to him to help him. Not only them, but Rani was one of them as well. "Please Kion, don't give up." she said. "Please don't. I know you can fight him."
"Rani... my family-"
"I know, I know, but we have to fight them. We don't have any other choice.
"But... I don't want to hurt them."
"It's like she said" Kifaru added, "We have no choice."
Kion thought that he should fully give up, but he saw the forces of the Emela-Ntouka come to his aid to help out the resistance, hope was starting to rise up within him once again. He looked back and saw that the majestic behemoth animals were putting up a good fight. Seconds later, eland, kudu, rhinos, even some hippos came.
"We came here as soon as we could, Kion." Imari said.
"And Inuwa messed with the wrong kind of animal kingdom." said a male black rhino.
"Well, that is quaint." Inuwa appeared next to Kion from black mist. "But you are not the only ones with heavy firepower." He said. To the free aninals' horror, there was a large rumbling on the soil, and it was like a larger mammal. Kion, his friends, and even the Emela-Ntouka were all surprised as well when they saw Ma Tembo, under the brawinwashing, corrupt spell that Inwa had placed on othet many countless animals before when he unleashed his full power over the Pride Lands.
Kion gulped, and he was more scared than ever. Not just because of bein clawed by his own family mow, but with the probability of being squished by an elephant's mighty foot.
"Going somewhere, children?" asked Tembo evily.
One Emela-Ntouka noticed this and he rushed to the childrens' aid. These beasts are called "elephant killers" for a very good reason. A horn that grows on their noses are what gives them major firepower. Rafiki, out of nowhere, jumped in front of Inuwa with a vengeance.
"It is payback time, my ild adversary." Rafiki looked more than ready to have payback on Inuwa and make him pay for all the things he had done. "Give me all you got!"
Inuwa chuckled evily and he replied: "very well, yku crazy old baboon." Then another fierce fight happened between these animals.
"Whew, we're saved." Beshte said.
"How did every one of our friends come here?"
"I called them here, Kion." Khemu called out, hovering above the children on the horizon. He swooped down and landed his large talons on the ground. "I called in the cavalry to help us out. I gathered as many animals spared from the demon lion's spell, even ones on the Rwenzori mountains, and our friends in the Backlands."
"Perfect." said Bunga. "Maybe we can beat Inuwa."
"You should have never tried to intervene in this." Inuwa said as he felt Rafiki tie his arms behind his back painfully.
"I came here for a good reason, Inuwa!" Rafiki said, "to stop you from being victorious." He even pulled on the evil lion's mane and it looked painful.
The Lion's Bane noticed this ajd they were about to come to their partner's aid, but Inuwa stopped them by saying: "no! Do not worry about me! Just stop them."
"You kids think you are going to win, you got another thing coming." Makucha said.
"That's what you think!" Fuli shouted.
"We will take you down!" said Kifaru. Chikelu and his son charged at Draak and the large, white rhino easily overpowered the hippo. Unlike these river-dwelling mammals, rhinos had horns and hippos only had their large canine teeth to back them up in a hand-to-hand combat if they are not charging at their enemies. Blood dripped from the right side of the wicked hippo and Chikelu will make no hesitation to subdue him and bring him down. Bunga found himself fighting with Harif again, and the young honey badger was making no hesitation in trying to take down his enemy.
Bunga was clawing, kicking, and even punching the older, far more nasty honey badger, and the kid endured a dozen claw swiped that Harif was trying to give him. Most of it was just rolling around on the ground, and them trying to punch one another so hard in the face. At first, it looked like Harif had the upper hand because he was much larger than Bunga, and he was trying to strangle him to death with his arms.
However, Bunga was at least quick enough to bite at his arm so hard that it made him yell in pain and let him go. "Gah! You little runt!" Harif yelled in frustration. "I am going to make you suffer so bad, you will wish you have never been born!"
"Good luck with that, ugly!" Bunga taunted before giving him painful punches to the stomach.
Fuli and Makucha were going all-out against each other. They snarled and bared their teeth in anger and hatred. "Give it up, kitty cat." Makucha taunted her, trying to pin her to the ground with his paws. "Your time is up!"
"Never call me that!"
Suddenly, a couple of wild dogs pounced on the leopard and began biting on his skin, much to the dismay of the dangerous leopard. Fuli could tell that what Makucha was going through right now was really painful an unbearable, and she was glad that he was being taken care of like that. "Get off me, you stupid mutts!" the leopard shouted while grunting. With his strength, he managed to get a couple of the dogs off, and there was still a few biting down on him. Mpishi then swooped down and clawed at Fuli while she wasn't looking, with some cuts on her back.
"You'll pay for that!" said a free peregrine falcon, who saw the cheetah cub getting hurt like that. He rushed at the harrier hawk and latched his sharp yet small beak on her neck. Harrier hawks were far larger than falcons, but falcolns were far faster than most birds of prey. Blood was spilling from Mpishi's neck and by the look on her face, it hurt a lot. The falcon also tried gouging her eyes out, but Mpishi used her powerful claws to push him away. "Attacking a kid while their back is turned? That is just foul play!" said the falcon.
"You stay out of this, tiny!" the harrier hawk shouted.
Tuma was having an interesting grudge match against Sokwe and his two boys. These three gorilla knew that Tuma was a dangerous piece of work, and a little larger than the three, but with he was only one against three sane gorillas. "You have a lot of nerve joining this demon lion." said Sokwe
"With him, I can take finally kill you and become the new king of the Rwenzori mountains!" Tuma said.
"Over our dead bodies!" Majinuni exclaimed
"You want to kill our dad, you will have to go through us!" Hafifu added.
"My plan exactly. What joy it will bring me to kill all three of you." Tuma and Sokwe immediately collided and started pounding their powerful fists at one another. Sokwe was roaring and pounding his chest after he threw his hated rival against a large rock, and he even pounded the palm of his hands against the ground. He then charged at Tuma again, and this time, Tuma caught him and pinned his rival against the rock while grabbing his chest, and began pounding his face endlessly. It looked quite painful, but Majinuni managed to hit the back of Tuma's head with a large, thick branch and knock him out for a few seconds.
Hafifu grabbed his father's rival by the shoulder and he was punching him in the stomach many times over and over again. The insane gorilla, however, gave him a powerful uppercut with his left fist and knocked him out cold.
"Bro!" Majinuni exclaimed with shock. He then turned angry and furious before exclaiming: "No one does that to my brother!" before he knew it, these two seemed to be in a struggling in trying to push and overpower one another, and it was hard to tell who was gaining the upper hand in this lethal wrestling match, but these two apes looked fierce and looked ready to kill one another at any given opportunity. Suddenly, the insane ape gained the upper hand and tried crushing his chest with his immense right foot.
"You stupid children have been a thorn on my side for a while, but now, you are going to die!"
Sokwe couldn't bear to watch his two boys get hurt by his rival an he immediately charged at him in full speed, and knocked him to the ground before jumping on top of him and punching him countless times, and they were rolling around on the grass again.
Kion watched at the gigantic battle happening. Everywhere he looked, his friends were fighting off brainwashed animals and Rafiki still battling against Inuwa. "Run Kion, run." A ghost voice said in his head.
"What? Who said that?" Kion said. He couldn't tell who was talking to him in his brain, because it was so noisy with all the fighting and the battles raging on. He thought he heard his grandmother Sarabi, but he still wasn't so sure.
"Kion, my child, run!" It said even louder.
Without hesitation, the cub took the voices word for it and he ran off away from the battle to get to possible safety. Of course, he was still a little brave than before thanks tk the encouragement of his pse friends. If his family or brainwashed friends were to stop him, he knew that he cpukd not really hesitate to stand up against them. While he was running, Inuwa suddenly saw him and he growled before shooting to the brainwashed lions: "Simba, Nala, and loyal lions. Stop him!"
The brainwashed royal family stopped their fighting with the dogs and the hyenas and all said: "yes, my lord." Before following Kion.
Running as fast as he could, Kion did not hesitate to look back and he was following whatever the voice told him to do. Inuwa appeared in front of him and tried to stop him. "Not so fast!" He said. Without warning, Kion clawed at his face like a couple of blades slashing him, and it caught him off-guard.
As Kion continued running, there was a flock of brainwashed ostriches trying to stop him as well. A couple of tbem tried pecking him on his back, but the cub dodged every one of them, and ran under one ostrich, causing the gigantic bird to be caught off-guard and trample at a couple of other birds, knocking them over in a clumsy matter like dominoes.
Now the cub saw a couple of corrupted baboons chasing after him, barking and screeching ferociously while showing their sharp teeth. The cub, with a quick spurt, fash away and tried to get away as fast as he could, but these monkeys were high on his tail.
"There's nowhere to go, Kion." said a baboon, "give up!"
"Never!" Kion exclaimed. He clawed at one baboon and made him slip and fall into the dust. The three other monkeys followed him and he managed to climb up a loose tree that seemed to have acted as a bridge across a steep drop. It lokked dangerous, but the cub had no chocie, he had to get away. He carefully crossed over with little ease, but he made it to the other side with the baboons still on his tail.
Suddenly, from above, a couple of falcons, bateleur eagles, and a couple of vultures with Khemu with them, dived at the monkeys like harbingers and caught them off-guard. "Thanks guys!" Kion called to the birds of prey.
The more he ran, the more and more tired he was becoming. Unfortunately, he could not stop to take a breather. He had to keep running.
As he was still going very fast, he suddenly tripped on a root and tumbled a couple of times before landing on his belly. He tried getting up again, but he felt a little weak. "I gotta.. keep... going!" He panted he heard the footsteps coming and he probably had no other choice, but to fight. He growled and readied himself
"Come and get me, guys!" He exclaimed. But he was relieved to see his girlfriend. "Rani?"
"Sorry if i scared you, Kion." Said she. "I was trying to protect you while my parents and pride were fightinf off brainwahed animals."
"Thanks, Rani." Kion smiled.
Kifaru, Chikelu, and other free animals were with her, including the wild dogs, eland, kudu, and hyenas. "We were told by Rafiki to fall back here and help you." Said Imari
"Well, isn't that precious." Said Inuwa's voice before appearing in front of them, along with the other brainwashed Pride Landers.
"There's nowhere else for you to go." Kiara said with an evil smile.
"Wait, where are the other Lion Guard?"
"Don't worry, buddy." Kovu said. "They are right here with us." She and Vitani moved away to reveal, to Kion's horror, the Lion Guard members brainwashed and under Inuwa's control and influence.
"Oh no."
"Come on, Kion. Join us." Fuli said. "It's okay."
"You monster." Rani said. She charged at Inuwa, and swiped her claws at his face, but the demonic lion just swiped her away like she was an insect. The other free animals were then surrounded by a hoarde of other brainwashed Pride Landers and they were trapped. Kion was more scared than ever before and looked around from his family to his own team brainwashed.
"So what are you going to do now, son?" Simba asked cruelly. "You have no chance against our leader.
At last, Kion said: "i... i... i give up."
"Oh come on, my boy, think of-" Inuwa stopped with surprise and the other corrupted lions were as shocked as surprised as their new overlord. "Wait, can you say that again?"
"I give up." Kion knelt down and broke down into tears once again.
sad emotional piano music plays
Everyone could almost hardly believe what he said right now. "Give up?" Kifaru said
"Yes. I mean, my family turned evil, my whole team of the Lion Guard turned evil, i am outnmubered and I am doomed. Just look at me, I am supposed to the leader of the Lion Guard, and... I'm sorry guys. I'm so sorry. I never meant for this to happen. But i... i give up.
It looked like tbe brainwashed family wss slowly snapping out of the spell, and Kiara tried to come up to him and comfort him, "Kion?" She said.
"Come on, Kion." said a familiar voice that Kion knew too well. "don't give up. I know you can do this."
"Grandfather Mufasa?" said Kion with tears still in his eyes. The spirit of the almighty king appeared in front of him. "Grandfather, is that you?"
"Yes. I am here for you, my child."
"What?' Inuwa recognized, looking scared. "No! It cannot be."
"Just use the inner strength of me and the kings of the past to kill Inuwa."
"But... I'm weak. My family has been turned evil and I am just a weakling compared to Inuwa. I am tired and I am... powerless against him.
"No." Mufasa said gently. "You can do it. I know you can. You just need my help."
Sarabi suddenly appeared as a spirit, and she said: "And my help too, sweetie. I am here for you. So are the other kings and queens of the past"
A dozen other spirit lions appeared and they looked strong, mighty, and holy. They all nodded their heads at Kion and the cub was just so amazed by what he is seeing. "No!" Inuwa shouted. "This cannot be happening! I have world domination ahead of me! I will not have it ruined by a group of ghosts from the past!"
"Look inside yourself." said Ahadi. "Just trust us and let us help you. You have royal blood and you are more than what you are now."
"Yes... Yes." Kion, while still having tears in his eyes, stood up, and a glowing light appeared in his eyes. He took a gigantic breath and he gave the loudest, longest roar he had ever done, along with Mufasa, Sarabi, and the other kings and queens of the past, blowing away many brainwashed animals and the Lion's Bane. The Roar was so powerful that Inuwa was slowly going to pieces.
"NO! NO! I will not die by the paws of a child! This is my kingdom! MY KINGDOOOOOOMM! RAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH!" Inuwa suddenly vanished into black dust and it was nothing more than small mist. The sky was no longer red, and it was back to being the glorious blue color. Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Vitani, Zira, and the rest of the Pride that lived in Pride rock were back to Normal, along with the rest of the animals that were previously brainwashed. Everything was back to normal, and the spirits had gone.
Kiara ran up to her little brother and said: "Kion, you did it."
The cub tried talking, but he suddenly collapsed on the ground, looking like he had died. Everyone gasped, and they crowded around him. Rafiki checked on the poor cub and felt a pulse. "Ah. Do not worry, everyone. Kion is just so tired and asleep. He just needs rest and probably some water. Not to worry. I will tend to him."
