Kion was really glad the despite between him and the enemy hyenas that he and his comrades have hated for so long, he come to make peace with everyone in the Pride Lands. This was the start of a new era of peace (Although the hyenas still had to stay in the Outlands to keep the Circle of Life in sane balance). Of course, there was still Reirei and her family of troublesome jackals that might threaten the Pride lands once more when they get the chance to do so. But, for now; the two factions between Janja and Kion have made peace.

Poor Kion was on the far corner of the cave within Pride Rock, sleeping and sounding so peaceful while in his slumber. In his dream, there was all his closest friends and family together with him, until they all looked at Kion with red eyes as if Inuwa brainwashed them all again. "Wha- guys?!" Kion exclaimed while sleeping. He was grunting and twitching.

"Did you miss me, Kion?" said a familiar voice. "You can never be rid of me so easily. No matter what happens, I will always come back. Yes, I will return to take revenge and kill you."

"NO!" Kion shouted as he was shaking.

Some of the other lions including: Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Vitani, and Zira noticed Kion's yelling and walked over to see what the trouble was. "Kion?" Simba said, gently rubbing his son's torso on the right side.

"No! No! Guys, snap out of it! Inuwa's taken control of you guys again!" a few scores of tears were running down the poor cub's face as he was twitching and yelling in desperation. "Guys, fight it! You can do it! FIGHT IT! Our bond is way more stronger than him! I killed you before Inuwa, i can do it again!"

"KION!" Kiara shouted, rubbing Kion's side after. She had to do it a few times over and over again.

"No! Don't hurt... me. SNAP OUT OF IT, YOU GUYS! COME ON! Wha!? wha? what?" Kion awoken from his nightmare and looked uncomfortable with what was going on right now, and paced his head to and fro to see his concerned family members. "Guys... you're... still normal?"

"Of course, sweetie." Zira added. "What is the matter?"

"Yeah, you gave us a little scare." Vitani added.

"You guys heard me in my sleep?"

"How could we not, buddy?" Vitani replied

"Ok... I have a nightmare about Inuwa coming back and taking control of you guys." Kion admitted with a sigh. "You were all going to... No, i don't want to say it. It's to horrible to think about." He let a few more tears run down his face and looked away. "I'm sorry if I scared you guys."

"No no, don't be sorry." Kovu said. "We're glad you were yelling in your sleep. We needed to wake you up. But everything is normal, and Inuwa is never coming back."

"Yes," Nala added. "He is forever dead."

Kion looked down and he realized that it was, indeed, just a nightmare. None of what he saw in his dream wasn't about to become reality ever again. Turns out; he was still suffering from a little emotional scars since Inuwa came and turned Kion's friends and family against him with his dark, evil magic. Similar to how Simba was dealing with the death of his father by the paws of his treacherous uncle. Simba had Post-traumatic stress disorder because of the evens when he was only a cub, and Kion might have the same.

"Need me to keep you company, Kion?" asked Kiara, being a loving sister again. "I'm feeling a little tired from hunting a big kudu earlier. That hunt really had me worn out."

The cub smiled at how nice and sweet his big sister was, and he said: "Sure."

"So will I. I hunted a big buffalo bull and he almost killed me." said Kovu before letting out a small chuckle. "Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

Silent, and thinking once again, Kion sighed, and he said: "Well, if Inuwa does come back... i know he might never, but... what if he does?"

Everyone around him frowned, but Simba had a bold smile after, and he finally answered: "Well, then we just need to be ready for him. Your grandparents will be there to help you once again, along with the other kings and queens of the past." he gently rubbed Kion's little mane on his little head. "I promise."

"Thanks guys." said Kion before going back to sleep in his nap. Kiara and Kovu laid close to him on the ground, and they were all asleep as a group nap. Nala looked back at Kion with a frown, being the loving mother that she was.

"Simba?"

"Hmm?"

"I think Kion might be permanently scarred after all that has happened to him." Nala said, looking sad. "I mean, he's just a baby. He didn't deserve to go through what happened in the Pride Lands. Inuwa really scarred him for life now. We were all really scary when we were all brainwashed by Inuwa."

"You're... not wrong, Nala." Simba admitted. "He's like me now."

"What do you mean?"

"Well remember the times I had nightmares about my father being killed by Scar? How that day still haunts me even to this day? Kion might be... traumatized, but I always remember that i can talk to my father whenever i want to , like Kion can talk to him too."

"That's true." nala agreed.

"Yeah. my parents will do what they can to help Kion for guidance. If my father says the kings will always be there to guide me, they will guide Kion as well."

"Right. I guess the least we can do is try to forget about it, and not mention it to him." Nala said. "He's already been through enough as it is."

"And whatever is broken, we can all heal him and make him happy with our love and support." Simba added. "As long as he knows we will always be there for him, even after death, he'll be fine."
