Second, I am changing the story A LOT! I will be adding a few things from the original, but there will be new villans and some other things happening soon.
Third, I will be pausing my Star Struck story and my One Shots, for the time being. This is my most favorited story and I really want to focus on this one. Though some of the one shot ideas will be added into this story so be on the look out for your one shot request ;)

(BEN'S POV)
Okay. Fuck! A lot has happened and is happening. My coronation is tomorrow, for one. Two, I have Queen Leah, now, bashing Mal and I to the press about yesterday. And three, I told Mal that I loved her! What the fuck was I thinking!? I mean, she kissed me afterwards, but she didn't say it back. She doesn't seem any different or is acting weird. Does she love me back? Does she not?
A knock on my door broke my thought and I groaned. I got out of bed and walked to my door and opened it to see Mal standing there. She was wearing a pair or black bicycle shorts and a dark green spaghetti strap tank top.
"Can I hide in here?" She asked. "Evie keeps having me do dress fittings for tomorrow and if she pricks me with one more needle I am sure I'll bleed out," she said with a sigh.
I smiled at her and nodded my head.
"Thank you!" She said as she ran into my room and jumped onto my bed. "So what are your plans for the day?" She asked, propping herself up on an elbow.
I walked to the bed and sat on the edge of it. "I am going to be staying at the castle tonight. I have my new seamstress coming later to do the last of my fittings as well and that's about it. Unless there is some urgent meeting, which I doubt would happen the day before my coronation," I told her.
"I see. When are you going to go over there?" she asked.
"I'll probably leave here in about an hour," I told her looking at the clock on my nightstand, seeing it was almost 1 in the afternoon.
"So, I won't get to see you until tomorrow when you pick me up?" she said pouting at me.
I looked at her and she looked so cute! I leaned down and gave her a kiss on her lips. When I pulled away she had a small smile on her face.
"Hey. I'm going to go and shower. You can stay if you want and watch whatever you want. Okay?" I said standing up straight.
"Okay. Thank you," she said as she moved herself up my bed and took the remote off my nightstand.
I walked to my bathroom and closed the door behind me. I started the shower and while I was in there I started to think. And I couldn't believe that Mal was actually my girlfriend. I don't know what I did to deserve her or how I would have ever been able to be with her if I didn't bring her over from the Isle. What if I never thought of bringing anyone over. I would have never met my soulmate. I let my mind wonder about the thought and wanted to get more information on how we find our soulmates. It can't be just a coincidence right?
When I got out of the shower I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out to my room. I looked to see that Mal was asleep and cuddling into one of my pillows. I reached over her and pulled the blanket so that it was covering her. I walked to the other side of my big bed and grabbed my phone to text FG.
Ben to FG: Hey, FG. I was wondering if you were able to go by the castle later? I wanted to talk to you and my parents about something. It's nothing serious, just something that I wanted to know more about.
I placed my phone down and went to my closet to change. I changed into a pair of jeans and a tourney shirt. I don't normally dress this casual, but there are no classes, no meetings, and no dates so I don't have to dress to impress today. I walked back out to put my shoes on and noticed that Mal had turned over and was now facing the window. I walked over and picked my phone back up and saw a message from FG.
FG to Ben: Hello, Ben. Yes. I can meet you and your parents in about an hour if that is okay with you?
I quickly responded with a 'yes' and put my shoes on. I picked up the keys to my bike, my wallet, put my watch on and then turned back to Mal. I didn't have the heart to wake her so I wrote her a small note and left it on the nightstand and sent a text to Evie.
I leaned over and kissed her on her cheek. "I love you," I whispered.
I walked out of my room, locked the door and made my way outside. When I walked through the corridors I saw a couple of students walking around but not many. I walked outside and bumped into Trevor.
"Umm… Hey, Ben," he said.
"Hey," I said awkwardly.
"Have you seen Mal? I wanted to ask her something," He said.
"She's taking a nap. What did you need to ask her? I can let her know," I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Umm… I wasn going to ask her if she wanted to come over to my family castle for dinner one night this weekend," He told me.
What the fuck?
"I'm sorry for asking this. But, why?" I asked, pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Well, I told her that I would take her to Atlantica and my family is going for a visit over the weekend," he told me.
I squinted my eyes at him. "Mal can't swim," I stated, glaring at him.
"Yeah. I know. I told her that I would teach her," he said putting his hands into his pockets and shuffling his feet back and forth.
Okay. He is going too far now!
"I don't know if you know, though I am 100 percent sure that you do, but Mal is my girlfriend," I told him.
"Yes, Ben. I know," he said with a stupid smirk on his face.
"Okay. So, why are you flirting with her?" I asked.
"Why wouldn't I?" He asked as he crossed his arms over his chest and took a step toward me.
"Because she is MY girlfriend and MY soulmate," I said, taking a step toward him, making me look down at him.
He was only a inch or two shorter than me, but it was still something I could do to make him feel small.
"Yeah… In my honest opinion. You guys will never last," he said, shaking his head and laughing.
"She's my soulmate!" I said loudly.
"Well, if you look up the term soulmate it says a soulmate is a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. So, you and Mal could end up being JUST friends," he said with a grin I wanted to punch off his face.
"Okay. Listen. I am going to say this once and you better get it through your thick skull!" I said shouting at him. "Leave Mal the fuck alone! Stop flirting with her! You make her feel uncomfortable! You know NOTHING about her and I's relationship!" I yelled.
"Well, what I do know is that I am not going to do any of that. I will continue to talk to Mal and to try anything I can to get her away from you. You are not worthy of her and she is way too good to be with you. You may be the future King, but you will never make Mal happy," he said.
"What the fuck did you just say?" I said as I tightened my fist and pulled it back.
I was about to throw the punch but someone wrapped their arms around me and pushed my arms to the side.
"Woah, Ben! Stop!" I heard Carlos shout.
I looked and saw that it was Jay holding my arms back and Chad and Ryder were now standing in between Trevor and I.
"What the fuck is going on here?" Aziz asked, coming from behind Trevor.
"Nothing. Just talking to the soon to be King," Trevor said nonchalantly.
"Shut the fuck up! No you weren't!" I yelled trying to break out of Jay's hold.
"Calm down," Jay told me, tightening his grip.
"No! He wants to try to get Mal and I to break up!" I shouted.
Jay finally loosened his grip and let me go, but was the first to grab Trevor by the front of his shirt.
"Why the fuck would you try to do that?!" Jay yelled, pinning Trevor to the wall.
"Jay! Let him go!" Carlos yelled pushing Jay on the shoulder.
Jay turned to look at Carlos and glared at him. "He is trying to ruin our sister's relationship! Who the fuck does he think he is?" Jay said glaring back at Trevor.
"Ben. What happened?" Doug asked, clasping me on the shoulder.
I glared at Trevor who grew a small smug smile on his face.
"He asked where Mal was and I told him she was taking a nap," I started.
"Why do you want to know where she is, huh?" Jay asked, tightening his hold on Trevor.
"Jay! Let Ben finish," Carlos snapped at him.
"He wanted to ask Mal if she wanted to go to his family castle for dinner and to go to Atlantica for the weekend," I continued.
"Mal! Can't! Swim!" Carlos said glaring at Trevor.
Chad then grabbed Carlos from walking closer to Trevor, because now Carlos was losing his temper. Trevor was just grinning while still being pinned to the wall.
"He said that he would teach her. I then asked him why he would flirt with her if he knew she was my girlfriend AND soulmate. He said that we would never last because Mal is too good for me and that I would never make her happy," I finished.
"Why would you say that?" Doug asked.
"Because it's true. Ben and Mal will never last. He won't and can't make her happy," he said with a smug grin on his face.
I shoved Doug's hand off my shoulder, pushed Jay out of the way and punched Trevor right in the face.
"Fuck!" Trevor shouted, covering his nose with his hand.
"Stay the fuck away from my girlfriend," I told him before I stormed out toward the parkinglot and to my bike.
I kicked the stand up and rode away from campus. Was he right? Would Mal and I not last? I told her that I loved her and she didn't say it back. Maybe the talk I will have with FG and my parents will help. I made it to the castle just as FG got there.
"Hello, Ben," she said as she got out of her car.
"Hey, FG. Thank you for coming," I said, with a grumpy tone.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I shook my head. "I might be after our talk. I just need to ask a few questions then maybe you and my parents can settle my worries," I told her.
She nodded her head and looked at me sceptically. "Okay. Let's head in. I called your parents on my way here and they said that they would wait in your office," she said.
"Okay," I said as I offered her my arm and escorted her inside and up to the second floor where my office is.
When we reached my office and went inside I saw that my parents were already seated on the loveseat couch that was against the wall. My office was pretty big. Bigger than my room at school. My desk was next to the window and my chair was behind it. There was a big bookshelf loaded with my favorite books on one wall and on the other wall was the loveseat, a coffee table in front of it and two armchairs.
"Ben. Jen said you wanted to talk to us. What about Bubsy?" my mom asked as she came to give me a hug.
"I wanted to talk to you about soulmates," I said.
"What about it? Are you and Mal okay?" my dad asked, getting up from his seat.
I nodded my head and went to sit in the armchair that was sitting in front of the small coffee table.
"Yeah… I think… I told her that I loved her and she didn't say it back," I said putting my head in my hands. "I know I told her soon, but she kissed me afterwards so maybe that's a good sign."
"Ben. You and Mal are meant to be. Why would you think like you weren't," my mom asked sitting back down in her seat.
"Because Trevor is trying to break Mal and I up," I told them.
"What?" they all asked in unison.
I nodded my head and told them everything that happened with Trevor, including me punching him.
"Benjamin. You know better than to punch someone," FG said, looking at me with a stern look.
"I know, but he kept pushing and pushing. I'm sorry," I said to him.
"I'm not upset with you. Seems like he deserved it," my dad said.
"Adam!" my mom said, slapping his shoulder.
"Belle. Trevor said some awful things. I did the same for you with some of Gaston's goons after we married," he told her, making her purse her lips.
"Well, Ben is going to be King tomorrow. I do not want him to be getting any backlash from a fight," my mom said.
"I'm sorry, mom," I said.
"It's okay. Just be careful. Don't let your beast out," she said, making me laugh.
I nodded my head and sighed.
"The reason I wanted to talk to you is because I wanted to know how we find our soulmates? I would have never found Mal if I didn't bring her over from the Isle. How are we magically supposed to find our soulmates? It can't be just a coincidence right?" I asked.
I looked at them and saw that they looked at me with confusion.
"Maybe, I could be of some assistance," we heard.
We looked around the room and then spotted a gleam of light. We all covered our eyes and when we opened them there stood the Enchantress.
"Ageth?" my dad asked.
"Hello, Adam," she said with a nod. "And hello to you too, Prince Ben. Belle. Jennifer," she said, nodding to each of us.
"What are you doing here?" my dad asked. "We haven't seen you since Ben's christening."
"Well, tomorrow is your prince's coronation and I have come to give him a blessing and to help him understand how things are destined to be," she said walking toward us.
"What?" I asked in shock.
She looked at me and took a seat on the coffee table in front of me.
"I am here to give you a blessing before your coronation tomorrow. I will also make you understand what you truly want to understand," she finished.
"How are we meant to be with our soulmates? How do we find them?" I asked.
"The phrase 'everything happens for a reason' is as true as it is stated. Everyone is meant to find their soulmate," she said.
"But how? If I never brought Mal over from the Isle I would have never met my soulmate," I said to her.
"No. You would have met her," she said with a soft smile. "It may be hard to understand, but it's destiny to meet your soulmate. No matter where they may be," she told me.
"But, how? And isn't the definition of soulmate, is a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner? So, Mal and I could not end up together," I said looking down at the ground.
"You are worried that you and Mallory aren't going to have your happily ever after aren't you?" Ageth asked.
I looked up at FG and my parents and saw that they looked at me with worry. I looked back at Ageth and nodded my head again.
"Prince Ben. You need not to worry. My blessing to you is clarification. You and Mal are and always have been meant to be," she told me, making me smile at her. "Though there will be troubles, as every relationship has them, things will be different," she said as her smile fell.
"What do you mean, Ageth?" FG asked.
"The vision that you had seen when our young prince was first born is now not to happen," she stated.
FG gasped. "What? How? Why?" She asked.
"The future always changes, but ends the same. Prince Ben and Mal are meant to be together. But the future to come is different from the one that was supposed to be," she stated.
"Is it a bad change? What did she see before?" I asked.
"No. Not at all. Struggling, but not bad," she told me.
"What struggles? Is Trevor involved?" I asked.
"I cannot say, but you wanted to know about whether you and Mallory were meant to be and I have given you that. So, what has you so confused over soulmates?" she asked.
"Well, what if I had never broughten Mal over from the Isle?"
She smiled at me. "May I show you how you would have met her if you had not made your proclamation?" she asked.
I looked up at my parents and they nodded their heads.
I looked back at Ageth. "Okay," I told her.
"Give me your hand and I'll show you," she said holding out her hand.
I slowly gave her my hand and everything went black.
I opened my eyes and I was at sea. I was leaning over the railing and staring at the Isle. It was about 200 yards away. I looked to my left and right and saw that we were on the Enchanted Rose, our family yacht. I looked back out at the Isle and couldn't help but feel a pull toward it. Like something was calling to me.
"Ben? Bubsy?" I heard from behind me.
I turned to see my mom walking toward me with my dad in tow.
"Audrey said that she and you had a horrible fight. What happened this time?" She asked as she rolled her eyes.
"She is upset because I have not asked her to marry me," I told her.
"Well, you are only 21. You have so many years ahead of you. How long has she been getting mad about this?" My dad asked.
"She has been this way since my coronation, 3 years ago," I told them.
"And why are you continuing being with her?" My mother asked.
"I don't know. The pressure of Queen Leah. I have been with her since we were 13. It's for the good of my kingdom. What more is there?" I asked.
"Well, you never once said that you loved her," my dad said.
"You are settling," my mom added.
"Well, I have yet to meet my soulmate. I don't even think I have one," I said, moving my ring to rub my mark.
"Ben!" I heard Audrey yell.
I looked to my left and saw her storming toward my parents and I.
"Where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere!" She exclaimed, stopping in front of me.
"Well you didn't look that hard, because I have been here since I left your room after your hissy fit," I said turning away from her to look back out to the water.
She went to ramble on about how I need to ask her to marry her, even in front of my parents. I tried to ignore her as my mother tried to get her to shut up. I looked out toward the water and saw something floating, just below the surface of the water. I pushed myself further out, holding on to the railings so that I didn't fall in and saw what looked like purple hair. I pushed myself back, took my jacket off and shoes.
"Ben what are you doing?" I heard my dad ask.
I didn't answer. I ran forward, jumped over the railing and dove into the water. When I was under I looked all around until I saw something purple. I swam a little further away from the boat and then saw a glimmer of purple slowly sinking. I swam as fast as I could toward what it was and when I got closer I saw that it was a girl, around my age, with purple hair. I swam fast, pulled her close and swam to the surface. I had my arm around her waist, her back was to me and her head was resting on my shoulder.
"Ben!" I heard my mom yell.
I swam trying to keep her above water. I reached the ship as my dad threw a ladder over and climbed halfway down to grab the girl from me. Once he had her and was climbing, I followed climbing up to the deck. My dad laid her on the deck of the ship and she wasn't breathing. She was pale and her lips were plump and blue.
"Her pulse is faint," he said taking hold of her wrist.
I quickly got to my knees and tilted her head up.
"What the fuck are you doing, Ben?!" Audrey yelled at me, but I ignored her.
I started mouth to mouth and chest compressions.
"1. 2. 3," I mumbled to myself, pressing down on her chest.
I repeated the rhythm 3 times and was about to do mouth to mouth when she sat up and coughed up a bunch of water. She flopped back down on the deck, passing out.
"Her pulse is getting better," my dad said, holding her wrist in his hand.
I nodded to him and then scooped her up in my arms. I passed Audrey and my mom and walked below deck.
"Ben?! Where are you taking her?" Audrey screeched, following me.
"I am going to take her to my room," I said flatly.
"What?!" She yelled.
I turned to look at her. "Do you want me to place her in the room you are staying in because I gladly will," I said, glaring at her.
"You wouldn't," Audrey challenged.
"Try me," I hissed through my teeth.
I turned and walked to my room. I kicked the door open and placed her on my bed. A couple of minutes later my mom and dad walked in with a bunch of blankets.
"Audrey? Would you please let us borrow some of your clothes we need to get her out of these soaked ones," my mom asked.
"With all due respect, your majesty, I wouldn't like to have my clothes be worn by her. We don't even know where she has been," Audrey said giving the girl a disgusted look.
I rolled my eyes and went to my closet. I pulled out a pair of my sweats and an old tourney T-shirt.
"Here, mom. She can use these," I said walking back into my room.
She took them from me and then looked at the rest of us.
"Oh. Yes. Sorry. Well leave you to it," my dad said clasping me on the shoulder.
My dad and I turned to leave, but Audrey didn't make a move.
"Audrey," my dad said in a warning tone.
She huffed and then turned to leave, following my dad and I out of my room to let my mom change the girl.
Once we were on the deck again I turned to look at Audrey.
"This is why I won't ask you to marry me! You are a horrible person! How could you be heartless toward a girl who nearly died?!" I shouted at her.
"She is a nobody, Ben. Why would you risk your life to save hers?" She asked, folding her arms over her chest.
"Because she is a person. I would do the same for anyone!" I shouted in her face.
"Ben. Calm down," my dad said. "I'm going to go and check on your mother and the girl," he said.
"Thank you," I said to him but I was still glaring at Audrey.
"You know what?" She asked.
"What?"
"You're lucky to even have me to be your future Queen. I would like you to name anyone better than me," she said with a scoff.
"No. I'm lucky that you will never be my Queen," I said making her face drop. "I do not want to marry you. I do not love you. I do not want to be with you!" I yelled at her. "When we dock you may move your things out of my castle and leave. I don't want to be with you anymore," I told her.
She covered her mouth as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Don't start your crying bullshit. I don't feel the least bit sorry for you," I told her as I walked past her and back to my room.
I heard mumbling coming from the other side of the door. I opened it slowly and saw the girl still asleep on my bed, but with 3 blankets over her. My parents were at the foot of my bed whispering.
"What are the odds of this happening and it being so?" I heard my mom ask. "It matches…" she started but stopped when she saw me standing by the door.
"How is she?" I asked.
"She should be fine. I'll go and get her something warm to eat," she said. "Adam," She called, making my dad follow her out of the room.
"But what if…" I started but they were gone before I could ask them.
I sighed and then looked at the girl. She was still asleep on the bed so I took my chance to change into some dry clothes. When I was done, I walked out and sighed looking at her. I walked forward and took a seat on the side of the bed. She didn't look as pale as before, but her skin was fair. Her lips weren't blue anymore, they were a plum pink rose color. Her cheeks were getting some of their color back and her hair was a bright purple color. She was so beautiful.
I brushed a piece of loose hair behind her ear startling her awake. She bolted sitting up and looked every which way.
"Hey. Hey. Hey. It's okay. You're safe," I told her.
She looked at me and I locked into her gorgeous green eyes.
"Where am I! What happened?" She asked.
"You were in the ocean. I dove in and pulled you out," I told her.
She looked at me in surprise.
"The King of Auradon pulled me out of the ocean?" She asked.
"You know who I am?" I asked.
She nodded her head. "I think everyone knows who you are," she said. "But why would you save me?"
I looked at her with a surprised look. "Why wouldn't I?" I asked.
"I'm from the Isle," she stated, surprising me. "Why would you risk your life for a villain?" She asked.
I sat there in shock. The Isle? "I would risk my life for anyone," I told her. "But if you don't mind me asking… How did you end up in the water and outside of the barrier?" I asked.
"I was fighting with someone and ended up falling into the water," she said looking at the blankets on her legs. "I don't know how I got out of the barrier though," she said.
"Well, you're safe now," I told her.
"So, you save me from dying?" She asked, looking up to meet my eyes.
I then noticed the gold little flecks in her eyes, making them even more beautiful than I had originally thought. I nodded my head. She then pulled me into a hug, surprising me again.
"Thank you," she said over my shoulder.
I slowly wrapped my arms around her. "You don't need to thank me," I stated.
She laughed over my shoulder. "I feel that I need to thank the King," she said.
"I understand that, but there is no need. Plus, you can call me, Ben. No need for titles," I said making her chuckle. "What is your name?" I asked.
She pulled away and looked at me.
"I'm Mal."
I opened my eyes to see my parents, FG and Ageth looking at me.
"Woah," I said.
"What happened?" my dad asked.
"Well, to make it short, it was 3 yeas from now and I found Mal drowning in the ocean," I said looking at them.
"Everything is meant to be," Ageth said.
"But, I want to know more. I want to know how we would have started dating and if I would have brought over Evie, Jay and Carlos," I rambled.
She chuckled at my eagerness. "Some things are better left unknown. Besides, that is a future where you never made your proclamation," she said standing up.
I nodded my head and understood what she was saying. I did make my proclamation and Mal and I were together.
I looked up and her. "So, Mal and I will be fine?" I asked.
"Yes, you and Mal will be fine, but there are struggles to come. Always remember that," Ageth said with a smile.
"Thank you, Ageth," I said with a nod.
She smiled and then engulfed herself in a gleam of light leaving the four of us sitting there.
"Umm… Ben? Where is Mal? I wanted to show her a couple of things." my mom said.
"She came by my room before I came over here. She was hiding from Evie and fell asleep on my bed. I didn't want to wake her so I left her a note and texted Evie letting her know where she was," I said.
"I see," she said, taking her phone out, starting to text.
A couple of minutes later Mal appeared standing in the middle of the room, with purple sparkles falling and she was rubbing her eyes. She was still wearing the same outfit she was when I left her in my room.
"You wanted to see me, Queen Belle?" Mal asked with a yawn.
"Yes. I am sorry to wake you up from your nap, but I wanted to show you a couple of things here at the castle," she said walking up to Mal.
Mal nodded and smiled. "Yeah. Okay. What did you want to show me?" she asked.
"Well… Adam and I talked about this and I know that the holidays are coming up," she told Mal. "And we didn't know if you four wanted to go back to the Isle for Christmas break," my mom went on. "You don't have to, but Adam and I decided to make room for the four of you if you wanted to stay and join Ben, Adam and I for the holidays." she finished, shocking Mal and myself.
"Oh. Wow! I had no clue. We have heard of the holidays, but never celebrated them," she began to say. "I know the four of us do not want to intrude on your holidays, when we do not even know what any of them are about," she said looking away from my mom and to my dad and I.
"Mal. You and your friends would never be intruders. You are Ben's girlfriend and they are your siblings. We would be more than happy to have you here for the holidays," my dad said.
"Thank you. That means a lot. Of course I would have to talk to the others before I give a definitive answer, but I think that they would love it too," she said with a smile.
"Great! Now, come with me. You said that you love to read and I want to show you my library," my mom said with a squeal.
She looped her arm with Mal's and started to walk out of my office, but turned back.
"Jen. Are you coming?" She asked.
"I would but I have to go and get things ready for tomorrow," FG said, making her way to the door. "I will see you all tomorrow," she said with a wave.
We all waved at her and she left my office.
"Now. Come on Mal. I can't wait for you to see the library," my mom said, pulling Mal out of the room.
My dad and I walked out and watched as they walked down the hallway.
"I have ready almost all of the books in there and you are more than welcome to borrow any of the ones you would like," she told Mal.
"You haven't read the ones in Greek, because you still don't know how to read it!" My dad called.
"She will soon," Mal called back, turning to smile at us as they turned to head toward the library.
My dad laughed out loud as he clasped my shoulder, "I know Ageth said that you and Mal are going to last, but you better never let go of that girl," he said to me.
I looked at him and shook my head. "Trust me, dad. She's not going anywhere, anytime soon," I said as we walked out of my office.
(MAL'S POV)
I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. Today was Ben's coronation and, from what Belle told me yesterday, his 18th birthday. I was surprised that Ben didn't tell me himself about his birthday, but I didn't let him know I knew. They asked me if I wanted to stay for dinner, but I declined because I now had to work on a present for Ben.
I baked him some chocolate chip and walnut cookies and wrapped them in cellophane and put them into a bag with colorful tissue paper. When I was done with that I painted a portrait for Ben. It was of him with his crown on. I got a good glimpse of the crown because King Adam was wearing it when we had first arrived. I work almost all night trying to make sure that it was perfect. I finished it at about 2 in the morning and finally went to sleep.
"MAL! MAL! MAL!" Evie yelled, jumping on my bed. "Wake up! Wake up! It's coronation day!" She finished flopping down on top of me.
"I know E. I know," I said laughing. "What time is it?" I asked.
"It's 10 and Ben is picking you up at 12:30, so you have to GET UP!" She said, shaking my body.
"Okay. Okay, E. I'm up," I told her, pushing her off me and onto the foot of my bed.
I got out of bed and looked at her knowing exactly what she was waiting for.
"Okay, E," I said holding my arms out. "Play dress up on me," I told her, making her sequel. She jumped off my bed, taking my hand, pulling me into the bathroom.
Evie did her work and I might say she did a great job. She did minimal makeup, which is how I like it. She left my hair down with loose curls and all that was left was my dress.
Evie did an amazing job on my dress. It was the color where you don't know if it is purple or blue and I was in awh. The design of it was an a-line off the shoulder asymmetrical tulle dress with a beaded sequins belt. It was truly beautiful.
Once she zipped it up there was a knock at the door. We looked at the clock and saw it was only noon, so it couldn't have been Ben. I walked to the door and opened it and was surprised to see Seph standing there.
"Mom! What are you doing here?" I asked.
She smiled brightly at me. Probably from me calling her mom.
"I came to see you girls and to make sure you were all ready," she said, walking to give me a hug.
She was wearing a beautiful dress of creamy peach haze of tulle and pastel flowers. I looked back at Evie who pointed to the back of her dress. I rushed over and zipped up her dress and took a look at her.
She was wearing a royal blue asymmetrical dress too, but hers was satin and had a lace layer over the layers of satin. It was sleeveless but covered her shoulders and chest with lace.
"Oh. Your girls look so beautiful!" Seph said. "Here let me take a picture or you girls," she said, pulling out her phone.
Evie and I posed for a few pictures and then Evie took a few pictures of Seph and I. A knock on the door made us turn to see Carlos and Jay standing there in suits, well as suits as they would get.
Jay was wearing a pair of black distressed jeans and some parts looked like it was bleeding red. A burgundy fitted shirt and a black jacket with a cool design on it. Carlos was wearing a pair of black pants with zippers everywhere, a white shirt and an Aztecs looking black and white jacket.
"Boy! Go stand with the girls. I want pictures," Seph said.
Carlos smiled and went to stand next to Evie and Jay just stayed where he was.
"Umm… I think I'm good," Jay said with a sarcastic smile.
"Jayden! Get in the picture NOW before I turn you into a weed!" She exclaimed.
"Yes, ma'am," he said scared as he walked over next to me.
We all chuckled at him as he turned red. We took a couple of pictures, some smiling, some making faces, and some of us just by ourselves.
There was another knock at the door and this time it was Ben standing there wearing a blue tuxedo with gold designs embroidered all over the jacket. My gosh he looked so hot! When our eyes locked he smiled and then I noticed the black box in his hands.
"Well don't you look dashing," I said walking up to him and gave him a small kiss.
"Not even remotely close to how beautiful you look," he said, making me blush. "But, I did have a great seamstress make this for me," he said winking at Evie.
"E! You made this?" I asked in shock, grazing my fingers on the gold embroidery of Ben's jacket.
"Yep!" she exclaimed. "I think it turned out really good. Don't you think?"
I turned to look at her and smiled. "More than good," I said and then mouthed 'He looks hot,' making her laugh.
"Let me get a picture of the two of you," Seph said.
Ben and I posed for a couple of pictures and then it was almost time to go.
"Wait! Mally?" Seph said, making me look at her. "Are you joining Ben as his Lady of the Court?" She asked, confusing me.
"Whody of the What?" I asked.
"My Lady of the Court. Meaning you will attend royal functions, some meetings, plan events, and other sorts of royal things. I didn't tell you about it because we have only been officially together for almost a week and I didn't want you to have the pressure of being my Lady," he told me.
"Is it a bad thing that you didn't ask me?" I asked.
"No. No. It just can be stressful and you will have more responsibilities. I was asked by my parents if I had asked you and I told them no because you had just gotten here, we just started dating, and I didn't want you to be overcome with royal responsibilities two weeks after you got here," he said. "I wasn't even going to tell you about it until another couple of months," he said, looking at Seph who turned a little red. "But I guess that ship has sailed. I don't want you to feel pressured into doing it," he said, taking my hands.
"Will I have to be your Lady of the Court later?" I asked.
He nodded his head and then looked to the ground.
"Well, why don't we just get it over with today?" I asked, making him snap his head up.
"What? No! I don't want you to feel pressured to do it. We can wait," he told me.
"Ben. We are soulmates. It's going to happen sooner or later. So, why not now?" I said.
"Mal. It comes with so much pressure. I don't want you to get overwhelmed and regret it," he said.
"Okay, but what if I want to do it?" I asked.
"No one wants responsibilities," he said with a chuckle.
"But everyone has them. I have minimal classes and we are graduating in June. I can handle it," I told him.
"I just want you to be happy. I want you to have fun. I want you to enjoy life, before you have to deal with the royal life" he said.
"I will enjoy it, because it will be spent with you," I told him kissing his cheek.
He blushed and smiled at me. "Okay, but only if you want to. I'm not going to be upset if you don't want to do it yet," he told me.
"Okay, but I'm doing it," I told him with a smile. "Plus, it will be fun to see Queen Leah and Audrey's faces when it is announced," I said laughing.
Everyone laughed and then I looked at the box in Ben's hands.
"What's with the box?" I asked.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" He said, holding it out to me.
I slowly opened the box and under the lid sat a tiara. It was so beautiful. It was silver with diamonds and sapphires. I looked up at him with wide eyes.
"Ben. What? Why? When?" I continued to ramble.
"It was my mother's. It was the first crown my dad had given her and she wanted me to give it to you," he said.
He passed me the box and lifted the tiara out of the box and placed it on my head.
"Aren't I supposed to be the one to give you gifts today?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.
He squinted his eyes at me. "My mom told you didn't she?" He asked.
I smiled and then nodded my head, making him roll his eyes. I quickly walked toward my dresser and grabbed the bag with tissue paper in it. I walked back to Ben and saw a small smile on his face.
"You really didn't have to get me anything," he said as I gave him the bag.
"Shush and open it," I told him.
He took out the paper and smiled when he saw the cookies wrapped in the cellophane, but then looked at me and squinted his eyes.
"I didn't know if I should be happy or upset that you made me cookies," he said.
"What? Why?" I asked in kind of a panicked voice.
"Well, happy because you made me cookies. Or upset, because you baked cookies without me," he stated, growing a smile on his face.
I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Thank you," he said and gave me a kiss.
"Your welcome. You can have your other things later, because we are now running late," I said taking his hand and pulling him out of the room.
"We will see you over there!" Seph said before her grabbed Evie's hand and teleported my siblings to the cathedral.
"Well I guess I get teleportation from both sides of my family," I said laughing.
Ben and I rode in a carriage to the cathedral and it was beautiful. Many people waved at us as we passed and were so excited to see Ben. Once we pulled up to the front of the cathedral I started to get nervous.
"Hey," Ben said, taking my hand. "Don't be nervous. All you have to do is stand there and look beautiful," he said with a smile.
"And then be introduced as your Lady of the Court," I said smiling back.
"Yes and that," he chuckled and then led me out of the carriage, up the sets and to his parents.
"Mal. You look lovely, dear," Belle said, pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you, and thank you for letting me borrow your tiara. It's really beautiful," I told her.
"No. That is yours now," she told me, pulling back and holding me at arms length.
"I cannot accept this. It is too valuable and special," I told her.
"That is why I am giving it to you," she said. "You are just as special and just as valuable as that tiara. You're Ben's soulmate, making you one of the most special people in my life," she told me.
Tears started to gather in my eyes and I hugged her once more. I felt Ben put a hand on my lower back, making me look at him.
"We forgot to mention that Mal agreed to join me as my Lady of the Court today," he said smiling.
"Oh, wow! That's great!," Adam said. "We asked Ben about it before and he said he didn't want to pressure you," he finished.
"I insisted on it, because if he and I are going to be together I might as well get used to the lifestyle now," I said smiling up at Ben.
He winked at me and pulled me to his side. "Wish me luck," he said before kissing my cheek.
I smiled at him before Adam offered me his other arm and guided Belle and I into the cathedral. Adam walked me to where I was going to stand, which was unfortunately by Queen Leah, but I was happy because Jordan and Chad were standing right behind me. Jordan was wearing a embroidered multicolored net Indian lehenga dress
I looked at how disgusted Queen Leah looked standing next to me. I tried to ignore it and found myself looking around the cathedral. I saw that Lonnie and Jay were standing next to each other. Lonnie looked gorgeous in her hot pink Chinese novelty backless dress with qipao flowers. I looked away and found Doug was standing with Evie and Seph. Carlos was standing with Jane. Jane's dress was so cute! It was a short light blue lilota dress with butterflies all over it. I couldn't help but smile at Carlos and Jane. They looked so cute together and hoped that they would start dating soon. I then noticed someone behind Carlos smiling at me, it was Trevor. I met his eyes and instantly felt uncomfortable. He mouthed 'you look beautiful' to me, making me give him a tight smile before turning my back to him.
"I cannot believe that they would let this slut stand next to a Queen and let it wear royal jewels," Leah said to Audrey, loudly so that I could hear it.
I tried to ignore it and felt Jordan put a hand on my shoulder. I turned to give her a small smile before looking at Queen Leah and Audrey. They were scowling at me. Queen Leah was wearing a pale pink long floral beaded gown and Audrey was wearing a long tie-dyed looking plunged v-neck dress.
"Hello, Queen Leah. Audrey. You both look lovely today," I said, giving them a small bow.
"You're in my spot," Audrey said, placing her hand on her hip.
"I'm sorry, but King Adam guided me here, because I am Ben's girlfriend," I told her.
"No. You're. Not! I am! You spelled him!" She started to yell.
"Audrey. Please. It's Ben's coronation. Don't cause a scene," I said turning my attention to the front where Belle, Adam and FG were, and noticed they were now looking at us.
"Don't you dare talk to my granddaughter that way you skank! You do not deserve to be in that spot!" Leah shouted.
I saw Belle take a few steps in my direction but stopped when we heard someone.
"Mother!" Aurora shouted making her mother and daughter tune to face her. "You do not deserve to stand where you are so I will be standing next to Mal and Phillip will be taking Audrey's place. It is clear to everyone here that you have no manners," she said moving in front of her mother.
"Aurora!" Queen Leah shouted.
"I don't want to hear it. You are a horrible influence and I hope Audrey comes to her senses and stops listening to you before I make it to where she never sees you again," Aurora finished and turned around to smile at me.
I gave her a small smile before looking back at Adam, Belle and FG. They were now smiling back at me and then we heard the trumpets start telling us that Ben was going to be entering.
We all turned to watch as the doors opened to reveal Ben standing there in his suit, looking as handsome as ever. He made his way down the cathedral looking straight forward until his eyes met mine. He gave me a small smile and a wink before stepping up in front of FG and his parents.
"We are all here today to witness the crowning of our new King," FG said, holding her hands out.
King Adam then took the glass case that was holding FG's wand. FG took the wand and walked in front of Ben, while he kneeled in front of her.
"Do you solemnly swear to govern the people of Auradon with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign," she asked.
"I do solemnly swear."
"Then it is my honor to bless our new King," FG stated, as she placed Ben's crown on his head and tapped him on his shoulders with her wand. "May I present King Benjamin Florian Anderson!" She exclaimed.
Ben stood tall and faced us. We all cheered. Ben smiled down at me and I smiled back.
"Now. I would like to make an announcement," Ben said looking at the crowd. "Today, Mallory will be joining me as my Lady of the Court and hens forth will be my consort," he said holding his hand out to me.
I slowly walked forward, walked up the two steps and took his hand into mine. He gestured for me to kneel in front of FG and I followed what Ben had done previously.
"Do you solemnly swear to be a Lady of Auradon and uphold the respect and responsibilities of being a Lady of the Court," she asked.
"I do solemnly swear."
She raised her wand up, but I felt someone pull the back of my hair, making Belle's tiara fall to the floor and then snagging the wand out of FG's hands.
"Leah! What are you doing?" I heard FG yell.
Leah had a grip on my hair and was holding the wand close to my head.
"Queen Leah! Let her go!," Ben yelled holding his hand out.
"No! I am going to get rid of this thing!" She shouted. "Your parents should have never brought Maleficent and those other villains back from the dead! They should have stayed dead! This thing should have never been born!" She yelled at the top of her lungs.
"Leah! LET GO OF MY DAUGHTER!" I heard Seph yell.
"No! I am not going to let this slut ruin my granddaughter's future!" She shouted. "Audrey! Pick up the Queen's tiara and put it on!" She demanded.
I couldn't see what was happening because she had a hold on my hair. All I could see was Ben standing in front of me and Seph if I looked out of the corner of my eye.
"I said put it on!" Leah demanded.
I locked eyes with Ben again and knew I had to get out of Leah's hold. I thought of something quick I could do and I didn't care if I got in trouble for doing it. I just wanted to get away from her and out of harm's way. As fast as I could I grabbed a hold of Leah's upper arm, that was holding on to my hair and flipped her, making her let go of my hair and was now on her back. A beam of light blasted from the wand and broke through the glass, but I didn't think anything of it as I ran to Ben who wrapped me in his arms and held me close.
"Are you okay?" He asked, holding my head in one of his hands.
I nodded my head and hugged him tighter. He kissed my hair and let out a sigh. I then remembered that FG's wand was still with Leah. I quickly turned to see Leah sitting up on the floor holding her head. I saw that the wand was sitting on the floor by her right hand. I quickly rushed forward and took it so that she didn't get a chance to snag it again. I stood there holding the wand in my hand, while Queen Leah looked up at me.
"Go ahead. Prove me right and do as your mother would," she scowled.
I glared down at her. "I am not my mother. I am not evil. I know what is right and what is wrong," I told her. "But you on the other hand. You are just as evil as Maleficent herself," I said, turning back to Ben.
I took a step forward but jumped back when a cloud of green smoke appeared between us., revealing my mother.
"I'm back!" She cheered, turning in circles.
(NO ONES POV)
"Go away, mother!" Mal told Maleficent.
"Oh. You are so funny!" Maleficent cackled. "And you didn't disappoint me, because you got the wand. Now! Here. Wand me," she said snapping her fingers at Mal.
Mal quickly threw the wand to FG and she caught it.
"Bibbidi-Bobbidi…" FG started.
"Boo," Maleficent mocked, freezing FG and all the adults in the room, but one who was acting frozen.
"MAL!" Ben yelled.
Maleficent looked at the young King with an evil smirk.
"Oh, Mal. I have told you that love is weakness," she said walking toward Ben. "Yet you fall in love with the son of the man who trapped you on the Isle all of your life," she continued.
Ben took a couple of steps back looking at Maleficent.
"Stop!" Mal yelled, gaining the attention of her mother. "You know nothing about love! You are incapable of it! I don't think you even love Aurora! Zeus knows how you woke her up!" Mal shouted pointing to a frozen Aurora.
"You know nothing. You are a disappointment," Maleficent growled at her daughter. "But I will give you one more chance to join me and rule by my side," she said.
Mal shook her head. "No. I don't want anything to do with you," she said taking a few steps back.
"Be it on your head then," Maleficent said, pointing the wand at Mal.
"Mal!" Ben shouted, running and dove at her to push her out of the way.
They landed on the floor and turned to see Maleficent glaring at them. She pointed the wand at the couple.
"Not my daughter you bitch!" They heard.
They looked to see Seph standing there with Evie, Jay and Carlos standing behind her.
"She is my daughter. You plant lover," Maleficent stated, turning her glare to Seph.
"You have never been a mother to her! She is my daughter! I have loved her since the day I met her!" Seph yelled.
Mal and Ben stood up and Ben wrapped an arm around Mal, protectively.
"You think you can stop me, with the help of them," Maleficent asked, pointing to Evie, Jay and Carlos.
"We love Mal!" Carlos yelled.
"Well your love for her won't help you when I do this," she said as she pointed the wand at Carlos.
A beam from the wand hit Carlos in the chest, knocking him to the ground.
"CARLOS!" Everyone yelled.
Maleficent cackled. "Seems I haven't lost my touch with my sleeping curses not have I, pumpkin?" Maleficent asked, turning to Mal.
Mal was in tears looking at Carlos lying limp on the floor. Ben was holding her from running to him and she was sobbing.
"See if his love from you can wake him up," Maleficent said as she shot two more beams hitting Jay and Evie in their chest.
"NO!" Mal sobbed.
"This is what you get for defying me, Mal," Maleficent said. "Next will be your stepmother and then your King," she said, turning back to Seph.
Maleficent shot a beam at Seph who teleported herself out of the way and was now behind Maleficent. Seph grew vines coming from the brick stone floor to wrap around Maleficent's legs.
"You are no match for me, Maleficent. I told you to leave my daughter alone!" Seph yelled.
"We'll just see about that," Maleficent said, setting the vines on fire and breaking free.
Mal tried to run to help, but Ben kept a hold on her. She looked at Evie, Jay and Carlos. Tears coming out of her eyes because she couldn't reach them. Doug was holding Evie, Jane was holding Carlos and Lonnie was holding Jay.
Maleficent and Seph were going head to head. Seph was dodging every beam of magic Maleficent was throwing at her and Maleficent was burning every hold Seph had on her. Seph threw her out and a tree started to grow knocking Maleficent off balance and shot a beam toward Audrey.
"AUDREY! No!" Mal yelled.
Mal broke out of Ben's hold and ran to block the beam from hitting Audrey. The beam hit Mal right in the chest, making her fall to the ground and go limp.
"Mal!" Ben and Seph yelled.
Ben rushed to Mal picking her up and laying her in his lap. Seph began to boil.
"You will regret doing that!" She yelled, charging at Maleficent.
Maleficent threw spell after spell at Seph, but Seph deflected them and kept charging forward as fast as she could. When she was close enough, Seph threw her hands out again and engulfed Maleficent in glowing green vines. FG's wand fell to the floor and Maleficent screamed. Seph loosened the vines and dropped her arms. The vines turned black and then they burst into flames.. Once the vines weren't on fire anymore they turned to ash and scattered in the floor leaving a pot with a bat orchid.
(BEN'S POV)
I held Mal close to my chest. Lady Persephone has just defeated Maleficent, but I can only focus on my unconscious girlfriend.
"Mal?" I said cupping her face. "Mal. Baby? I need you to wake up," I told her.
Not a sound. Not a word. Not a move. Nothing. I looked up and saw Lady Persephone use the wand to unfreeze all of the adults.
"Oh my! What happened?" FG exclaimed looking around the room. "Where is Maleficent?" She asked until she looked at me and then looked at the other aisle kids lying on the floor, lifeless. "Oh my goodness," she said running for the other villain kids.
I looked up and met my moms eyes. Tears started to stream down my face as she ran to kneel next to me.
"Mom. I lost her," I said, looking back down at Mal.
"Ben. Honey, I am so sorry," she said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
Lady Persephone came and kneeled in front of me and took Mal's hand.
"Ben?" I heard from behind me.
I looked to see Audrey and her mother walking up to me. Audrey held out Mal's tiara and it was bent and diamonds and jewels were missing. I took it from her and placed it back on Mal's head. I pulled her close, my head resting on hers, and rocked us back and forth, letting my tears fall.
"Ben!" I heard Jordan exclaim loudly. I looked up to see her with wide eyes. "Didn't Maleficent say she blasted Carlos with a sleeping curse?" She asked.
I nodded my head and then realized what she was implying. I looked down at Mal and then to Doug and Lonnie. Jane was looking down at Carlos. She still doesn't know he is her soulmate. I locked eyes with Doug again and I knew he was thinking the same thing.
"Kiss her you idiot!" Jordan yelled down at me.
She didn't have to tell me twice. I took Mal's face into my hands and kissed her lips. I pulled away and looked down at her. Nothing was happening. I looked up at my dad and then to my mom, and then I heard Mal take in a deep breath, shocking me. I looked back down and saw her turn her head and groan.
"Mally!" Seph said cupping Mal's face.
"Hey, mom," Mal said, while opening her eyes. "Where's Maleficent? Is she gone?" She asked in a panic.
"Yes, baby. I am so sorry," Seph told her gesturing to the flower a couple of feet away.
"Don't be sorry. The world is better off this way," she said.
"I don't know if you want, but I was thinking of placing her in the underworld where your father can keep an eye on her," Lady Persephone said.
"I think that dad would have fun with that, but we need to make sure that he waters her. Because I still think that counts as murder," Mal said with a laugh before turning to look up at me. "Hello, your majesty," she said with a smile.
"Oh Zeus, Mal!" I said, pulling her up to my chest and holding her close, and knocking the tiara off her head again.
She put her arms around my neck. "That was some nap," she said with a chuckle.
I chuckled and kissed the top of her head. "I just found you and I thought I was going to lose you," I told her.
She pulled away from me and gave me a funny look. "Nah!" She said with a smile.
"Hey, Mal!" We both heard.
We looked over and saw Evie resting on Doug's chest. "True loves kiss. Works every time," she said with a wink.
We both looked to see Jay sitting up and smiling at Lonnie, but Carlos was still asleep, resting on Jane's lap.
"Janey," I said, making her look at me.
She looked up and her eyes were puffy and red.
"Do it Janey," I said with a nod.
She looked at me with a confused look. "But…"
"Janey, he is your soulmate," Chad said, walking up to her. "He told us before tourney practice last week," he said, kneeling next to her and rubbed the small of her back.
Jane looked up at her mother. FG nodded her head and Jane looked back down at Carlos. She slowly leaned forward and placed a small kiss on his lips. I helped Mal up and we walked over to where Carlos and Jane were. Carlos slowly groaned and turned his head. He opened his eyes and smiled when he saw Jane.
"Hey," he said.
"I heard that you have been keeping secrets from me," she said jokingly.
"Huh?" He asked.
"How did you wake up from the sleeping curse?" She asked, squinting her eyes.
He widened his eyes and bolted up. "I… Ummm… Well… You see…" he rambled.
Janes gave him a small kiss on the lips. "It's okay. I was only joking," she said.
We all laughed and looked around, noticing that everything was okay now.
"I do not know why any of you are laughing! Maleficent may be gone, but you should have let her spawn of a child die too," Leah stated marching up to us.
"Queen Leah! Need I remind you that it was MY daughter who sacrificed herself to save Audrey from being hit with the sleeping curse," Lady Persephone said.
"And I will not let you talk bad about this wonderful girl standing before you," we heard my dad say.
"How can you stand there and let your son…" she started.
"Because she is a strong, beautiful and smart young lady. I do not need to let Ben who he should be with, because I know he has a smart head on his shoulders and a big heart. He found his soulmate and he gets to choose who he wants to be with," my dad told her, glaring down at her.
"Mother. Why don't you just go back home?" Aurora stated, walking up to her mother. "Becasue this..." she stated hold her arms out and waving them across the room. "Is all your fault!" She shouted.
"We'll just see who wins in the end," Leah said before she turned and walked out of the cathedral.
I felt Mal rest her head on my shoulder. I looked down at her, making her look up at me. I couldn't believe what had happened today and I was hoping nothing like it happened anytime soon. I placed two of my fingers under her chin and pulled her in for a kiss. I heard the cathedral door open and when I looked someone was walking out. I didn't know who it was until I saw Princess Ariel and Prince Eric looking worried as they watched the door. I didn't want to focus on Trevor now, or at all for that matter.
"Oh!" I heard Mal say, touching the top of her head. "Your mom's crown," she said, turning and looking on the ground.
When she spotted it a couple of feet away she frowned and walked forward to pick it up.
"Queen Belle. I am so sorry," she said, walking up to my mom.
"Sweetheart. It's okay. It's not your fault and it is always replaceable, but you are not," she told Mal pulling her into a hug.
"Maybe, I could fix it," FG said, holding her hand out to Lady Persephone.
Lady Persephone gave FG her wand, but my mom whispered in FG's ear, making her smile. Mal held the tiara out in her hand. FG pointed her wand at the tiara and it started to glow. I watched as Mal squinted her eyes and when the glow faded she was holding the fixed tiara, but instead of sapphire jewels there were amethyst.
"It's perfect, but weren't the jewels sapphire ?" Mal asked.
"They were, but I felt that changing the jewels would be better for you," my mom said with a smile.
Mal smiled brightly at my mom. "Thank you. I will cherish this forever," she said as she walked back toward me.
I smirked down at her and she smiled up at me. "So, not the birthday you were probably expecting, but I bet it's one that you will never forget," she said.
I took the tiara out of her hand and placed it on top of her head. "It won't be, but I do believe that you have an oath to finish," I told her.
"Aww, yes. A Lady of the Court should not keep people waiting," she said with a smirk.
We all stood where we were before the Queen Leah and Maleficent fiasco happened.
"Okay. Let us start from the beginning," FG said as I took a stand next to her. "Do you solemnly swear to be a Lady of Auradon and uphold the respect and responsibilities of being a Lady of the Court," she stated.
"I do solemnly swear."
"Then it is my honor to bless our new Lady of the Court," FG declared, tapping Mal on each of her shoulders.
I walked forward and held my hand out for Mal. She looked up and took my hand.
"Now, it is my honor to introduce, Lady Mallory B…" I started, before Mal coughed as a warning, making me laugh. "Lady Mallory Drakos of Auradon," I finished.
Everyone cheered and we walked down to be engulfed in hugs from our friends.
"So…" Aziz started.
"Who's ready to PARTY!!" Ryder exclaimed, jumping up and down.
We all cheered and made our way out to head to the castle for my birthday/coronation party.
Once we were at the castle I stopped, before joining the party. "So…" I said, pulling Mal's hand to make her look at me. "Not that I was expecting it, but when am I getting those other gifts?" I said wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Oh, yeah. I almost forgot," she said.
She snapped her fingers and a present appeared next to me. It was wrapped in blue wrapping paper with a purple bow.
"Can I open it?" I asked.
"Well, yeah!" she said sarcastically.
I kneeled down and tore the paper away from the present and saw that it was a painting of me. I was wearing a royal blue suit, like I did when the Isle kids first came, but I was wearing my crown and it was tilted to the side.
"Wow, Mal. When did you do this?" I asked looking up at her.
"Last night," she said with a shy smile.
"You did this in a single night?" I asked in shock, making her nod at me. "I love it," I said, wrapping my arms around her waist again and lifting her off the ground.
"Well, I am glad, but I have one more thing for you. Do you want it now or do you want it later?" she asked me.
"Whenever you like," I told her.
"Okay. How about now, but I need a couple of minutes to get it ready," she said.
I raised an eyebrow at her. "What is it?" I asked.
"Now why ruin the surprise?" she asked before turning and walking out with the rest of the guest.
I went outside a couple of minutes later, because I wanted to put my new painting away. I looked around for Mal, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I mingled with some guests and then walked up to my friends.
"Hello, birthday King," Ryder said. "How are you liking your party?" He asked.
"I would like it better if I knew where my girlfriend was," I said, shaking my head.
"Oh, she's probably around here somewhere," Aziz said in a tone that sounded fishy.
I looked at him just in time to see Jordan slap him on the back of the head.
"What?" I asked, looking around to everyone. "Where is Mal?" I asked and then noticed that Doug wasn't there either. "Where is Doug?"
Just as I asked I heard someone start playing the piano, making me look in their direction. I froze in shock when I saw Mal sitting on a stool in front of a piano, while Doug played.
Wise men say,
only fools rush in
But I can't help,
falling in love with you
I locked onto her green eyes and smiled. My Zeus! She is so amazing!
Oh, shall I stay,
Would it be a sin
Oh, if I can't help,
falling in love with you?
Is she telling me that she loves me?
Like a river flows,
surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes,
some things are meant to be
Take my hand,
take my whole life too
Oh, for I can't help,
falling in love with you
She smiled at me and I couldn't help but my smile grow bigger.
Oh, like a river flows,
surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes,
some things are meant to be
I slowly walked forward. We were meant to be and that i know for sure.
Oh, take my hand,
take my whole life too
She sang holding her hand out to me. I took it and wrapped my arms around her waist and started to guide her slowly back and forth.
For I can't help,
falling in love with you
Oh, for I can't help,
falling in love with you
She finished and I gave her a small kiss. She put the microphone on the piano and turned back to face me.
"I love you, Ben," she told me.
I smiled down at her. "I love you too, Mal," I told her before, cupping her face and kissing her again.
All I could think was… Best birthday ever!
Okay! Holidays are Next! I am hoping to have them done by Wednesday!
What do you think Leah has planned? Do you think that Audrey had a change of heart after what mal did for her?
Until next time my lovies xoxo GM
