(MAL'S POV)

Ugh. My head hurts. What hit me? I tried to lift my head, but it was forced down to the ground, making it throb. What the hell?! I felt numb and I couldn't move my body. Why can't I move? I tried to get up again, but I couldn't.

"Gods," I heard someone groan.

Who the hell was that?

"Fuck, you feel so good," they said, moaning.

The feeling started to come back to my body. I felt someone on top of me, and then I felt… it. They were pumping in and out with aggressive force.

"How does it feel?" They asked, coming close to my ear. "Probably better than your King would ever be," they said as they started to thrust harder and faster.

I felt my hot tears fill my eyes and I started to sob.

"Oh come on, Mal. I know you like it," he said. "Maybe now you'll think about what I said," he said.

Trevor?!

"Trevor, please," I pleaded through my tears.

"That's right, baby. Say my name," he said, continuing his thrusting.

"Please. Stop," I sobbed.

Why was he doing this? I didn't do anything to deserve this. I just want him to stop. I layed there crying, begging him to stop. There was no way to stop him. When will it end?

"Gods, Mal. I'm close," he said, pumping harder and faster until I felt him explode inside of me. Finally! "Oh, Mal. That was amazing," he said, pulling out of me.

I felt the pressure of his body weight lift off of me, but I couldn't move. I felt numb again. I heard the zipper of his pants and then I felt his breath against the side of my face.

"Hope our little randevu changed your mind," he whispered.

He then kissed my tear stained cheek and left. He left me lying there with my leggings around my knees. Once I knew he was gone I managed to pull my leggings up, but I couldn't stand. My legs were jello and I was sore. I brought my knees up to my chest and cried.

I have to get out of here. I couldn't stand to teleport, making me cry even more. No one knows where I am. I'm stuck out here. I just wanted to get out of here. I want to be with Ben. I want Evie. I want my mom! Buried my face into my knees and screamed. I want to be anywhere but here.

"Over the land, sea or through the air. My desired destination, take me there," I sobbed.

The surface below me turned as cold as stone and then I heard a gasp.

"Mal?" I heard, but I couldn't stop my sobs. I felt them kneel next to me. "Oh, Dear! What happened to you?"

(NO ONES POV)

The former King and Queen of Auradon were running down the stairs. Belle was on the phone trying to calm down her angry and worried son.

"Ben. Calm down," she said, while Adam held her coat open for her. "We will find her. You and Audrey need to get a hold of everyone so that they can help. Your father and I are going to tell Mrs. Potts, so that she can keep a lookout at the castle in case she comes here," Belle said as she walked toward the kitchen.

They hurried through the castle halls practically running to the kitchen. They burst through the kitchen door and froze in shock from the sight in front of them. A hysterical Mrs. Potts was kneeling on the floor, holding a sobbing Mal in her arms… and there was blood on the floor.

Belle lifted her phone back up to her ear. "Ben? You better get the others and come over here quick. She's here." She didn't wait for a response. She dropped her phone and rushed to Mal, collapsing to the floor and kneeling over the demigod fae and took her face in her hands.

"Mal! Sweetheart! What happened?" Belle asked.

Mal looked at her boyfriend's mother and cried, turning into her chest. Mal's sobs made Belle's heart ache for her. She held Mal close to her chest, letting her cry.

"Mal? Can you tell me what happened?" Belle asked.

Mal looked up at Belle. Her cheeks were hot and pink. Her eyes were red and puffy and she couldn't stop crying. She didn't know whether they would treat her differently when they found out. She didn't know if they would make Ben and her break up. What would people think of her? What would they say about her? What would Ben think of her? Would he even want to be with her anymore? Mal was afraid people would blame her. She didn't want to lose Ben. She knew she had to tell people what happened, and maybe they would take her side, but she also needed to prepare herself if they didn't.

"I'm sorry!" she cried. "Ben was right! And I'm sorry!" she continued to cry, burying her face in Belle's chest.

Adam walked up behind his wife and kneeled, placing his hand on Mal's shoulder, making her flinch.

"I'm sorry," Adam said, moving his hand back. "Mal, it's just me. Can you please tell us what happened?"

Mal's sobbs grew louder. She hated what happened to her and was starting to blame herself. If she had just listened to Ben during their fight; she would have never left his room and she would have never gone out to the meadow.

"It's all my fault! I should have listened to Ben!" she continued to sob.

"May what happened? What was your fault?" Adam asked.

"Be… Ben aa… and I… ha ha… had a… fight." she stuttered.

She took a couple of breaths so she could tell them what happened.

"Ben told me I should drop the class, but I was being selfish and said no. I'm sorry!" she cried.

"Mal. What happened? Why are you bleeding?" Belle asked.

Mal began to shake, remembering what Trevor had done to her. No one would ever want to be with her after this. Not to mention no one would want to be a part of her life after what happened. Who would they believe? A prince? Or a villain kid?

"Mrs. Potts? Will you please get a blanket for Mal! She is shaking," Belle asked.

Mrs. Potts wasted no time in hurrying to get a blanket. Belle wrapped her arms around her son's girlfriend, trying to sooth her. Belle had a pretty good idea of what happened, but didn't want to think of something like that happening to Mal. Mrs. Potts came back into the kitchen a couple of minutes later with a blanket. She wrapped it around Mal and stood in case they needed anything else.

"Mal? Will you please tell me why you are bleeding?" Belle asked Mal in a soothing voice.

Mal looked up to meet Belle's eyes. She then looked to Adam and they both looked at her with worry in their eyes. She felt she could tell them and they wouldn't judge or blame her.

"Trevor… he… he…" Mal stuttered.

Mal didn't have to finish her sentence. Belle just pulled Mal close to her chest and started to cry. She didn't know how to feel. All she wanted to do was hold onto Mal, making sure she knew that she wasn't alone and that she was safe. Mrs. Potts gasped and tears ran down her face. Adam stood from the floor and started to pace around the kitchen. He clenched and unclenched his fist trying not to let out a yell or growl. Adam was red and shaking with anger. He couldn't believe that someone would do that to Mal, let alone anyone. He was so hot and wasn't thinking of his actions. He punched the kitchen wall, making Mal flinch and putting his fist right through the thick layer of drywall.

"Adam. Stop! You're scaring her," Belle said, trying to stop herself from crying.

Adam instantly calmed down after hearing his wife. He walked back over to the two of them and kneeled down next to them.

"Mal, I am sorry if I scared you. I'm just upset," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder and making her flinch again.

"This is all my fault," Mal said over and over.

The words made, both, Belle and Adam's heats break.

"Mal," Belle said as she ran her fingers through Mal's hair. "This is not your fault. None of this is your fault," she ranted and kissed the top of Mal's head.

"No! I should have listened to Ben. This is all my fault," Mal cried.

"No, Mal. No it's not," Adam said. "No one should ever do that to anyone, ever. He did something to you that is unthinkable, and he will be punished for it."

Mal looked up at Adam. Her eyes were burning and her vision was blurry.

"Mal? Can we take you upstairs to get cleaned up, please?" Belle asked Mal.

Mal slowly nodded her head and pushed herself up and out of Belle's arms. She tried to get up, but her legs caved in under her, making her fall to the floor again.

"Mal? Can I please carry you upstairs?" Adam asked, holding his arms out to her.

Mal looked up at him and then slowly nodded her head. He knelt down and slowly lifted Mal into his arms. He pulled her close and she turned into his chest.

"Mrs. Potts. Ben and the others will be here soon, but can you have them wait until I have Mal cleaned up? I don't want them to see her like this," Belle asked.

"Yes, your majesty," she said, "Please take care of her."

The former King and Queen left the kitchen with Mrs. Potts followed behind them. The three of them were walking in the foyer with Mal burying her face in Adam's jacket. Just as Belle and Adam were going to walk up the stairs, the giant entrance doors opened and 12 people came running into the castle.

"Mal?!"

(BEN'S POV)

Audrey and I ran to the meadow, but no one was there anymore. Audrey found the note Mal was talking about on the floor. I called my mom and told her that we couldn't find Mal and that she might be in danger. She told me to calm down and that we would find her. How the fuck am I supposed to calm down when my girlfriend is out there somewhere with that fucking creep?! Audrey was texting everyone and telling them what had happened when my mom told me that they had found her. After hearing that I sprinted back to school just in time to see the rest of our friends running out of the dormitory.

"Ben! Where is she? Did you find her?" Evie asked.

I didn't answer her. I just kept running to my bike. I started the ignition while everyone else jumped into Chad and Audrey's cars. I rode as fast as I could to the castle with everyone following me. I rode up to the castle not slowing down. I jumped off my bike, making it crash onto the wall of the stairs. I ran up the stairs two at a time and I heard everyone running behind me. I pushed the doors open and saw my dad carrying Mal and my mom was following him up the stairs.

"Mal?!" I yelled and started running toward her.

"Ben, dear. You can't go up right now. Your mother is going to clean her up," Mrs. Potts said, holding her hands up to me.

"Mrs. Potts. I love you, but get out of my way," I said, moving around her.

"BENJAMIN FLORIAN ANDERSON!" she yelled, making me turn back to her.

Mrs. Potts never yelled at me or used my full name. She had tears in her eyes and she was shaking.

"You will wait down here until your mother or father come down here. Do you understand me?" she said and then started to cry.

I took a deep breath. "What happened?" I asked.

She shook her head. "I can't. I'm sorry," she said before she walked to the kitchen.

What the fuck happened? Why can't we, or I, go and see her?

I paced around the living room for what felt like hours. Jay, Evie and Carlos were as quiet at death. The others were just worried. I heard the door open and I saw my dad walk in.

"Dad!" I said, running up to him.

He looked like he had been crying. In all my life I have ever seen him cry. Everyone else walked up behind me.

"Where's Mal?" Jay asked.

"Evie?" He said looking toward her. "She wants you right now. She'll tell you what happened when you are up there, and I'll fill in everyone else," he said.

Evie sprinted out of the room and up the stairs not turning to look back.

"Dad? What happened?" I asked.

"Guys…" he said with a hoarse voice. "This is going to be hard to say. Mal was… she was…" he choked out as his eyes started to fill with tears.

She was what? What happened to her? What could he possibly do… no! He wouldn't! No one can be that horrible. I stared at my dad as he let the tears run down his face.

"No he didn't," I said, shaking my head.

"Ben…" my dad said.

"No he didn't!" I yelled.

"Ben. You need to calm down," my dad said walking closer to me. "You cannot go up and see her if you are angry. She needs you to be calm."

My eyes started to burn and my chest was tightening. I was breathing heavily and for the first time I let out a loud growl that scared everyone, even me. I turned to look at everyone and saw the fear in their eyes.

"Sorry," I said before looking back at my dad.

"You needed to let it out. But don't let it out in front of her. Okay?" He said, then looked to everyone else. "Any of you," he said, pointing to all of us.

We all nodded our heads and agreed.

"Fine. I'm sure she'll need all of you, but why don't Ben, Jay and Carlos go up first?" he said before turning and walking out of the room.

"Yeah. Of course," Jordan said.

Jay, Carlos and I walked out of the room and headed for the stairs.

"Ben." Carlos said, making me turn to him. "Your dad never said what happened and I'm at a loss here. What happened?"

I took a deep breath, looking at the floor and then back to them. Gods I hate that this is going to come out of my mouth.

"He raped her," I said before leaving the room to go and see my girlfriend.

We followed my dad all the way up to Mal's room and we could hear her crying from behind the door. My heart ached listening to her. My dad slowly opened the door and we followed him in.

Mal was laying on the bed curled into Evie, sobbing. Evie had her arms wrapped around Mal, rocking her back and forth as she let out her own tears. My mom was sitting at the foot of the bed, looking at Mal and Evie. Carlos walked around the bed and Jay crawled onto the bed sitting next to Mal's back. I stood there frozen watching my girlfriend sobbing. How could I be so selfish? If I had just listened to her and if we would have just talked it through she would have never left my room and she would have never gone to the meadow. Jay rubbed Mal's shoulder, making her turn to him. He leaned back against her headboard and pulled her close in a protective hold. Carlos and Jay were both crying now as they watched Mal break.

I stared at her for what felt like an eternity. She was broken and I could have prevented it, but I was fucking selfish. I clenched my fist tight, probably making my knuckles white.

"Ben?" I heard Mal call softly.

I crushed my eyes shut from the pain in her voice. The girl I love had been hurt in one of the worst ways possible and I wasn't there to stop it. I was supposed to protect her and I didn't.

She slowly crawled off the bed and took a couple of steps in my direction.

"Ben. I am…" she started, but I cut her off.

I pulled her close to me, lifting her off the ground and holding her tightly to my chest. She buried her face in my shoulder and cried.

"I am so sorry, baby," I whispered into her hair.

She continued to cry on my shoulder. Her sobs broke my heart. I fell to my knees, while holding her. No matter how much I wanted to go find Trevor and kill him, Mal was the one who needs me right now. I would deal with Trevor later. He was not going to get away with this. I put my hand on the back of her head, holding her head in place. I just wanted to hold her and help make her pain go away. I wanted to take all her pain away, but I know I can't. I just have to be there for her and help her through this.

"I'm sorry," she cried into my shoulder.

I pulled away, taking her face into my hands. Her eyes were burning red and her cheeks were red and stained with her tears.

"What are you sorry for?" I asked her.

She looked at me and started to cry. "If I would have listened to you… you were right! It's my fault!" she sobbed.

I looked up and saw my parents on the verge of more tears and I saw Evie, Jay and Carlos slowly getting off the bed and walked toward Mal and I. I looked back down at Mal and let my own tears fall.

"Baby, none of this is your fault," I told her.

I kissed her forehead and pulled her to my chest again. Jay, Carlos and Evie kneeled in front of me, staring at their crying sister.

"None of this is your fault," I whispered.

My mom's phone rang and I looked up at her. She looked at her phone then turned it to show me that Mal's mom was calling. I slowly nodded my head and then my parents left the room.

"Mal?" Carlos said. Mal slowly turned her head to look at him.

"Can you tell us what happened?" Jay asked, trying to stay calm.

She stiffened in my arms. I know once Mal told us what happened Jay, Carlos and I were going to go ballistic. She slowly nodded her head and tried to sit up. I sat completely on the floor and pulled her onto my lap. She took a couple of deep breaths and wiped her eyes.

"Ben and I were in his room… spending time together," she said, clearing her throat. "Trevor texted me about an art club meeting tomorrow and that he missed seeing me. Ben and I got into an argument and we said some mean things to each other. I left and went to my dorm, while E was on her date," she continued. Evie started to cry, probably because Mal had already told her what happened. "Ben came to talk to me, but I wasn't ready, so I went to take a shower to clear my head. When I was done and changed I sat on my bed sketching. After a little while an envelope was pushed under the door that I assumed it was from Ben, because it said that they wanted to talk to me in the meadow that only you four know about," she said.

The bedroom door opened and the rest of our friends peeked in. I heard Mal's mom yelling through the speaker on my mom's phone. 'Get me off this trash whole now!,' was all I heard before my mom took her off speaker and walked further down the hall. When our friends saw us on the floor they stopped in the doorway and froze. I looked down at Mal who nodded her head. I looked back to them and nudged my head for them to come in. Doug closed the door and everyone sat around us.

"How much do you all know?" Mal asked.

"I only told them what you told me, before I went to the gym, it just probably wasn't as detailed as yours," Audrey said.

"Okay. Then we are all on the same track," she said. "I left my room and ran into Audrey and told her I was meeting Ben to talk because we fought. When she left I teleported to the meadow, but no one was there. I thought that I had just beat him there and then something hit me on the head hard. I fell to the floor and they said something, but I passed out. When I came to," she said and then her voice cracked. I tightened my arms around her, holding her for comfort. "When I came to, I couldn't move. I couldn't lift my head," she said. I looked around and saw the horror on the faces of our friends. "I tried to lift my head, but it was forced back down, making it throb. I couldn't feel anything. My body was numb, until I heard him groan. I still didn't know who it was, but the feeling was coming back to my body," she said and then crushed her eyes shut. "I felt him thrusting in and out aggressively. He was saying things that didn't make any sense. 'He knew I liked it,' 'Probably better than my King would ever be.' I didn't know who would want to do something like this until he said, 'Maybe now you'll think about what I said.'" she turned her head, pressing the side of her face against my chest. I could feel her hot ears seeping through my shirt. She took another deep breath and looked back to everyone. "I realized that it was Trevor," she said. All the girls gasped and the guys covered their mouths. "I asked him to stop, but he didn't," he said as she started to cry. "He told me to keep saying his name. I cried when I realized that it was him. He kept thrusting and thrusting, until he finished." Jay stood and started to pace around the room. "He got off me and fixed himself before telling me that he hoped our little randevu changed my mind." She looked up at me. "I'm sorry, Ben. I am so sorry," she said crying.

"No, Mal. You have nothing to be sorry for," Evie said, crawling up to Mal and I.

"If I would have listened…"

"No!" everyone shouted.

"No one is to blame but Trevor," Carlos said.

Mal shook her head, trying to argue back but no one would let her get a word in.

After hearing what had happened, everyone had their chance to be there for Mal. We have been in her room for a couple of hours now. Mrs. Potts made us pizzas. Lumier and Cogsworth brought in five king size blow up mattresses and placed them around Mal's room. Evie, Mal, Jay, Carlos, and I offered clothes for everyone so they could feel comfortable. FG came and talked to Mal. The news broke her heart and she couldn't believe that Trevor would do something so evil, she hugged Mal and told her that she was sorry.

I pulled FG out of the room and told her that I didn't want anyone knowing what had happened until I told the council. She agreed and said that she was going to keep classes going until everything was sorted and a trial was held. She also said that she was going to spell school grounds so that Trevor couldn't leave. She called all of our teachers, telling them that the thirteen of us would not be attending class and for them to send our homework to the castle. FG told me that none of us were going to leave the castle, because she knew if any of us went back to school we would immediately go after Trevor. Both of my parents agreed to that plan and said we were not to leave the castle until things were sorted out.

We were all going to be staying in Mal's room tonight, while Lumier and Cogsworth got rooms ready for the others tomorrow. My parents left to pick up Mal's mom when FG had left and she told them what was going to happen with school.

My mom and dad had left about an hour ago to pick up Mal's mom. But, most importantly, Mal had managed to stop crying. I don't know how she can be so strong after what happened to her. I don't know if it was her Isle roots or if it was the comfort of all the people around her, but she was doing better than probably any of us had hoped.

I was standing and listening to the guys talk. Mostly it was Jay saying how he was going to kill Trevor, but he had to wait in line, because I was first. I looked over to see how Mal was doing. She was sitting on the bed with Evie and the rest of the girls. She looked lost and… broken. She was leaning on Evie's shoulder and Jordan was rubbing her feet. I really wanted to talk to her and I wanted to do it with just her and I.

"Hey. I'm going to go and talk to Mal," I told the guys. "We'll be back in a bit," I said before walking up to Mal.

"Mal. Can I talk to you in my room?" I asked.

She looked up at me with surprised eyes and then slowly nodded her head. She slowly stood from the bed. I took her hand and led her out of her room and to mine, closing the door behind me once we were inside. I turned to see that she was now slowly pacing back and forth, chewing on her thumb nail.

"Mal, listen," I said walking up to her.

"No. It's okay. I get it," she said.

Huh? What is she talking about?

"What are you talking about?"

"I understand okay. This is way too much for you and I understand that you don't want to be with me anymore," she said, shocking me. "No one wants to be with someone who was raped, especially when that person is the King. I should have listened to you, because then none of this would have happened," She said with a broken voice. "I know that I am going to have to be a part of a trial because of all this," she said looking down at the ground. "And then after that I'll leave you alone."

"Mal…"

"You are going to be dragged through the mud because of me. I never wanted any of this for you and it is all my fault. Because I didn't listen," she repeated. "We both know that everyone is going to take the side of a prince instead of a villain kid," she said as she started to cry again.

I started to walk up to her. Did she really think that I was going to break up with her because of this? Did she really think that I wasn't going to fight like hell for her?

"I mean how could you…" she started but I cut her off with a deep kiss.

I held the sides of her face, pressing my lips to hers. I wanted her to know that I was not leaving her for anyone, anything, or for any reason. I love her and I was never going to let anything come between us. I slowly pulled away and looked down at her as she opened her beautiful green eyes.

"I love you. I love everything about you. What Trevor did is never going to change that," I told her. "Can I and will I kill him? Yes, but I am here for you right now," I said.

"Ben, how can you stand there and say you love me after what he did. No one would love someone so weak," she said.

"You are not weak. You are strong. The strongest person I have ever met. No one would have the strength that you have right now to tell people what happened to them," I told her. "And I can stand here and tell you that I love you because I do," I told her. "I love you enough to fight for you, compromise for you and sacrifice myself for you if needed. Enough to miss you incredibly when we are apart, no matter what the length of time it's got and regardless of the distance," I continued. She had more tears in her eyes. "Enough to believe in our relationship, to stand by you through the worst of times, to have faith in our strength as a couple and to never give up on us," I said. I looked at my wall where my hidden safe was. "Hold on. I need to give you something," I said letting go of her. I moved the painting off the wall and opened the safe. I pulled out the small velvet box and turned to walk back to her. "I love you enough to spend the rest of my life with you, be there for you when you need or want me and never ever want to leave or live without you," I said closing the space between us. She saw the small box in my hand and covered her mouth. "I was going to give you this on Valentine's Day, but I feel now is better. And it's not an engagement ring," I said as I opened the box. In the box was a handmade white gold art deco ring. It held an oval amethyst in the center and it had three accented diamonds on each side of it. "This is a promise ring," I told her. She looked up at me with her beautiful eyes and they were shining brightly. "A promise from me to you. I promise to be there when you need me. I promise to hug you tight when you're lonely. I promise to wipe your tears when they fall and…" I said as I put two fingers under her chin to keep our eye contact. "I promise to keep you, not for the rest of my life but for the rest of yours because you are my everything." I finished.

She lets her tears fall and put her forehead against my chest. I wrapped my arm around her back and my hand held her head. I kissed the top of her head as she let her sobs out.

"Σ'αγαπώ. Λυπάμαι για όλα όσα είπα κατά τη διάρκεια του αγώνα μας, αλλά…" she said in Greek.

"Umm… baby?" I said, making her look up at me. "I don't speak Greek," I said.

She gave me a small chuckle. "I was saying that I love you. I am sorry for everything I said during our fight, but…" she said. "I want to make a promise to you," she said. "I promise to be by your side forever more. I promise to love, to honor, and to listen as you tell me your thoughts, your hopes, your fears and your dreams. I promise to love you deeply and truly because it is your heart that moves me, your head that challenges me, your humor that delights me and your hands that I wish to hold until the end of my days," she said.

I smiled at her. How could I have been this lucky to have a strong girl come into my life? I leaned down and kissed her deeply. She kissed me back, making my heart swell. I know what she went through was horrible and should never have happened, but I know she is strong enough to get through this. We broke apart and I smiled down at her.

"So, can I put this on you?" I asked, lifting the box in my hand.

She nodded her head and smiled. "Which hand do you need?" she asked.

"Well, it can go on any finger, so you pick," I told her.

She held out both of her hands. "I'll close my eyes and you pick," she said, closing her eyes.

I shook my head and laughed. I took the ring out of the box and placed the box in my desk. This was a promise to her. A promise to be with her through thick and thin. A promise to be with her forever. I slowly slid the ring onto her left ring finger and then kissed her hand. She opened her eyes and smiled at me. She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me close to her. I held her small frame.

"Hey. I know you probably don't want to think about it, but I want to know how bad, physically, you are hurt," I said.

She looked up and me. "It hurts. I'm not going to lie. Your mom cleaned me up and she changed me. She said she threw my leggings away because of the blood," she said. "I know that the physical pain will go away and I know that the memory will be there, but I hope that I can learn to cope with it and, emotionally, heal fast."

"And I will be here for you whenever you need me," I said as I placed a kiss on her forehead. "Can I keep you to myself for a little while?" I asked and she nodded her head. "Can I lay with you? I just want to hold you. Unless you're not ready for that," I said.

"That's fine. I may not want to have sex anytime soon, but I will never be opposed to cuddling with you," she said.

I led her to my bed and we laid down, crawling up to the pillows. She took her sport curled into my side and rested her head against my chest. I wrapped my arm around her and started to play with her hair. We laid in complete silence until we both fell asleep.

(NO ONE'S POV)

Persephone stormed into the castle with four people hot on her heels. She didn't care what time it was. She didn't care if she woke up the entire castle. She rushed up the stairs to find her daughter. After hearing what that piece of shit did to her daughter she wanted blood. She rushed up the stairs, sprinting to reach Mal and leaving the other four behind. She reached the floor where Mal's room was and bursted through the door. Everyone sprang up from where they were sleeping, but she didn't see Mal or Ben.

"Where is she?" Persephone asked.

"She's asleep next door," Evie said.

"We went in there a while ago because she and Ben were gone for a couple of hours and found them asleep," Carlos said.

Persephone didn't say anything more. She left, leaving the door open and ran to the next room. She opened the door to find her daughter and her boyfriend asleep under a blanket. Mal was lying on her side facing the door and her back against Ben's chest. Ben had his arms wrapped around her in a protective hold, one arm under her head and the other wrapped around her waist. The sight of Mal peacefully asleep in the arms of someone who would never hurt her calmed Persephone down a little bit. She walked over, crawling on the bed and shook Mal's shoulder softly.

"Mally," she said softly. "Mally, honey?"

Mal slowly stirred awake, making Ben adjust his hold but didn't wake up. Mal slowly opened her eyes, wincing from the light coming from the door. She blinked a couple of times before seeing her mom sitting on the bed.

"Mom?" Mal asked in surprise.

Persephone looked at her daughter and cried. "Hi, baby girl."

Mal sprang up, waking Ben in the process. She crawled to her mother and wrapped her arms around her. Persephone held her daughter tight. They both began to cry in each other's arms.

"I am so sorry, Mally," Persephone said. "He is going to pay for what he did," she stated pulling Mal's face into her hands. "How are you going?"

"I wasn't the best when I got here, but Ben, my friends, Belle, Adam, and Mrs. Potts have been wonderful to me. I'm doing better. Still not great, but better," Mal said.

"You are so strong," Persephone stated. "The strongest girl I have ever known," she said.

Persephone looked up from her daughter and to Ben. He was standing there looking at the entryway with wide eyes, making Persephone smirk. Mal turned to see what her mother was smirking about and saw her boyfriend looking terrified.

"Ben? What's wrong?" she asked.

"Oh. He's just afraid to be meeting your dad face to face," a voice said.

Mal snapped her head in the direction of the door after hearing who it was.

"Dad?"

(MAL'S POV)

I jumped off the bed and ran to my dad. I can't believe he's here! I jumped on him, making him catch me.

"You're here! I can't believe it!" I exclaimed. "Am I dreaming? What time is it?"

"I'm here, princess. I'm here," he said holding on to me. "It's really late. About 4 in the morning," he told me. "Are you okay?"

I pulled away from him, looking up at him through the tears in my eyes and nodded.

"I'm okay. I have to be," I said.

"This doesn't make you weak. You know that right?" he asked.

I nodded my head and then looked back at Ben who was still looking at my dad with wide eyes. I chuckled a little and then looked back at my dad.

"I know," I told him. "I was broken and I felt weak because I wasn't able to stop him, but Ben helped me. I'm not better completely but better than I thought I would have been," I told him.

"I'm glad. But what I want is to take that boy and feed him to my dog!" He exclaimed, turning to look at Ben's parents.

"Dad we can't do anything until a trial is set," I told him.

"I know. I know. I've been cuffed," he said, holding up his arm to show me a gold glowing cuff around his wrist. "It's not strong enough to withhold all my magic, but enough so I don't just kill him now," he said, baring his teeth.

"Don't worry, Hades. We will be holding the trial tomorrow," Adam said.

Tomorrow? What?

"Good. I want this shit dealt with soon! That piece of shit is going to regret the day he was born," my dad said.

"We're having the trial tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yes. We have to gather evidence today and then we will summon everyone after," Adam said.

"I see," I said.

I looked to the ground. I didn't know they were going to hold the trial THAT soon. I don't know if I am ready to see Trevor. I know I'm not! I started to panic.

"Hey hey hey," my dad said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "You're going to be fine. No one is going to let anything happen to you and everyone is on your side," he continued, trying to comfort me. He took my chin, making me look up at him. "Do you think you mother, I, or Ben would let him get away with what he did?" he asked, looking from me to Ben. "Well, I mean, when he gets out of shock."

I turned to see that Ben was still standing there in shock.

"Ben!" I called, making him blink and focus on me. "Are you okay?"

"Umm… yeah…" he said as he walked around the bed and to my side. "Hi, Lord Drakos. It's a pleasure to meet you face to face, but I wish it was under better circumstances." he said, holding his hand out for my dad to shake.

My dad took Ben's outreached hand, but instead of shaking it he pulled Ben into a hug.

"Thank you," he whispered. "Thank you for taking care of my girl," he told Ben.

Ben pulled away and looked up at my dad.

"You don't have to thank me. I would do anything for her," he said.

The exchange between them made me smile. I know I'm not going to be ready for this trial, but I also know that I had the best people on my side to be there for me.

"Dad? Where is Hadie? If you guys are here, who's with him?" I asked.

My mom walked up behind me and draped her arm over my shoulder.

"I think Evie, Jay and Carlos are watching him. Right, dear?" Mom said, smirking at my dad.

"What?! He's here?!" I asked in shock.

Mom nodded her head. I started to run out of the room when I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"Hold on, Mally," my mom said walking up to my dad and I. "Hadie doesn't know what happened," she said. I looked at her with a confused look.

"We didn't tell him because he would have gone crazy," my dad said. "He has seen the fucker and even with a cuff Hadie is still sneaky. He would have found him somehow."

"So he's going to find out in a courtroom full of people," I said as my dad set me on my feet.

"He'll be sitting with Zeus and the rest of our family, and they'll watch him," my mom said.

"Okay." I said. "Can I go see him though?"

"Well get him," Belle said as she pulled Adam along with her.

"What does he think you are here for then?" I asked.

"He thinks me and your mother are here for a big council meeting," my mom said laughing.

"And he bought that?" Ben asked.

"He's 13. I told him we were going to Auradon for a couple of days for a meeting and he was ready in 5 minutes," my dad said.

I was about to open my mouth to say something but my brother ran into the room, tackling me to the ground.

"Geez, Hadie. I would have thought you missed me?" I said.

Hadie looked at me and smiled. "Nope. Haven't missed you one bit," he said as he climbed off me and helped me back to my feet.

I noticed that he grew a couple of inches since I saw him before I left, and he was now the same height as I was.

"Did you grow? I don't remember you being this tall," I said.

"Mally. You may be my big sister, but your 5'2" and 18. You're done growing," he said. "I am 13 and still growing. I'll be taller than you by next week," he said, patting my head.

I squinted my eyes at him. "You may be getting taller than me," I said and then poked his chest. "But I can and will always kick your ass."

"Alright. Alright. We have a busy day tomorrow, Mally. We better let you go back to sleep," mom said.

"Alright I better get to my room then," I said as I turned to Ben. "Are you coming?"

"Are you going to sleep on the floor?" Hadie asked, making me turn to look at him with a confused look.

"Why would I sleep on the floor?"

"Well, Blueberry, Snowball, and Street Rat were sleeping in the bed. Chad and Jordan were in one of the beds on the floor. Lonnie and Jane were in another. Ryder and Aziz were spooning in the third. Doug was in one by himself and a brunette was in the last," he said.

I turned to look at Ben and gave him a tight wide smile that said 'please.'

He smiled and nodded. "Yes, we can stay in here but we are missing the big picture here," he said. He walked around the bed and picked up his phone. "Aziz and Ryder are spooning and we need pictures."

"Speaking of," Belle said from the door. I turned just as she held my phone out to me. "We went to all of your dorms before coming back to the castle and I saw it laying on your bed," she told me.

I took the phone and then turned back to Ben.

"I think it's time for a photo shoot. Don't you think Benny?"

"I do believe you are right, Lady Mal," he said as he offered me his arm.

I looped my arm through his and we walked past both of our parents. We walked to my room next door and slowly opened the door. The light creeped in and lightly lit the room so that Ben and I could see where we were walking. Hadie was right. Everyone was asleep and luckily for us Ryder and Aziz were in the second blowup mattress from the door. Ben and I slowly walk into the room and over to Aziz and Ryder. Both of them were laying on their right sides, Aziz being the small spoon and Ryder being the big. Ryder had his arms wrapped around Aziz and the other under his head. I pushed Ben's shoulder, indicating for him to go and pose next to them. Ben laid next to Aziz and then smiled. I took a quick picture and put the flash on my camera before taking the last one.

"Smile," I said, making both Aziz and Ryder wake up.

I quickly took the picture, blinding Ryder and Aziz. Once they saw that the flash came from me and that Ben was laying on their mattress they realized that they were holding on to one another and broke apart. Ben got off the bed and stood, laughing at them.

"Your dead, Drakos!" both Ryder and Aziz yelled.

Everyone jumped up from where they were sleeping and saw Ben and I standing and laughing.

"Delete them," Aziz said.

"Not a chance," I said as I locked my phone.

They both jumped off the mattress, pushing Ben out of the way and onto the bed. I ran out of the room and back into Ben's. I jumped on the bed just as they ran into the room. My parents and brother stood off to the side, not being noticed by Ryder and Aziz.

"Okay, Drakos. Ben's parents can't protect you," they said as they started to stalk toward me.

Ben came into the room, stood by his parents and then looked at my family. Both my parents slowly crept behind the boys, making Ben, his parents and I smirk.

"What about us?" My dad asked.

Both boys turned and paled coming face to face with my dad. He smiled down at them, making his hair flame a little more. They turned back to me and smiled.

"Mal!" Ryder said, holding out his hands.

"Our purple princess," Aziz added, making me roll my eyes at the comment.

"Have we ever mentioned how much we love you?"

"And how smart and talented you are?" Ryder said, making me scoff a laugh.

"You do know she is dating Ben right?" Hadie asked.

They both turned to look at him, nodded, and then turned to my dad.

"Lord Drakos," Ryder said, holding his hand out to him.

"Mal is such a wonderful girl. I bet she gets it from you," Aziz said, copying Ryders actions.

Ben was trying to hold in his laughter. I finally grew pity toward them and stepped between them and my dad.

"Awww… Did my daddy scare you?" I teased, sticking out my bottom lip.

"Alright, Mally. Enough with the teasing. We should all get some rest for tomorrow," my mom said.

My dad and I looked at her and groaned. "Fine."

"We will take you to your room," Belle said. "Hadie? Would you like your own room?"

Hadie was about to answer, but my dad cut him off.

"He will be staying with us," he said clasping Hadie on the shoulder. "If you think Mal is quiet, slick and quick. You should see this one when we ground him," he finished with a laugh.

Belle and Adam laughed before leaving the room. My mom and dad gave me a kiss on the head and hadie gave me a hug before leaving for their room.

Ben walked to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I smiled up at him and then we looked back at Ryder and Aziz.

"You guys okay?" Ben asked.

They both nodded, but still looked like they were going to shit their pants.

"Mal. Your dad is scary," Aziz said.

"Yeah. I would be scared as hell to have him as my father-in-law," Ryder said then looked at Ben. "No offence Ben."

"Yes, but he likes me," Ben said, moving his arm from my shoulder and walking to the door. "Now, as nicely as possible… get out of my room."

"Okay. Okay. We get it. Ben wants to be alone with his girlfriend," Aziz said as he and Ryder walked to the door.

"Yeah. I do," Ben said.

"Can I ask you…"

"Nope," Ben said and then closed the door in their faces.

I laughed, making Ben turn to me and smile.

"Are you ready to go back to bed?" He asked.

"Yeah, come on," I told him, holding out my hand to him.

He took my outreached hand and we went back to bed. I laid my head back on his chest and closed my eyes. This is where I felt the more protected. The lost wanted. The most loved. Right here, in Ben's arms.

(NO ONES POV)

The next morning everyone was downstairs eating breakfast. When Hades walked in Evie, Jay, and Carlos greeted him with big smiles. The others stared at him with wide eyes.

"Good morning, princesses and princes," Hades said as he walked up to his daughter and kissed the top of her head. "I just want to say thank you for being there for my daughter, after what happened last night," he said. "But I just wanted to let you know that my son doesn't know what happened and I don't want him knowing, but he's going to find out tomorrow. I just ask you to not mention anything. Please?" He asked.

"We won't say anything, Hades. We promise," Evie said, looking up at my dad.

"Thank you, Princess," he said and kissed the top of her head. "I was also going to ask if you guys would spend time with him so that he won't be around while we get ready for tomorrow. We won't be here forever. I want him to have his glimpse of the sun before we go home and I don't want him around the castle while we gather evidence and overhears somehow."

"Why don't the guys take him up to Ben's game room?" Mal suggested. "Hadie might love it."

"That's a great idea Mal! I haven't been there in forever because Ben keeps it locked now," Aziz said.

"And why is that?" Ben asked looking up from his phone.

"Damn. You break 3 gaming consoles, 2 tables and you never hear the end of it," Aziz said, shaking his head.

"And that is why Doug will have the key," Ben said, reaching into his pocket to get his keys and throwing them to Doug.

"Are you not going to go with them?" Mal asked.

Ben shook his head at his girlfriend. He wasn't going to leave her. He needed to be with her every step of the way.

"No. I'm going to be here with you and I have to make some calls," he told her.

Mal smiled at him. She didn't know what she did to deserve someone as amazing as Ben.

"Good morning all!" Hadie shouted, waking into the finagling hall.

"Hadie Egan Drakos!" Persephone scolded her son.

"I'm sorry. Inside voices I know," he said as he took a seat next to Jay.

Hadie looked at everyone in the room and his eyes landed on Audrey.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know you," he said, gaining the princesses attention.

"Me? I'm Audrey," she said.

"As in sleeping beauty's daughter?" He asked.

"Yes, Hadie. She is Princess Aurora's daughter," Mal said from across the table. "And we are friends now," she said.

Hadie looked at his sister then to Audrey.

"Cool," he said then shrugged.

After breakfast Mal and Evie were in Mal's room. No one wanted to leave Mal alone, so while Ben was making calls in his office, Evie was with Mal. They were sitting on Mal's bed and Evie was showing her some of the design sketches she drew for her. Mal pointed to the tie dyed denim vest and skirt combo when Evie noticed the ring on Mal's finger.

"Where did you get that?" Evie asked, pulling Mal's close to her face.

"Oh. Ben gave it to me yesterday," she said, making Evie look up at her with a huge smile on her face that made Mal's face hurt. "Woah, E. It's not an engagement ring. It's a promise ring," she explained.

"Yeah! A promise you two will be together forever!" Evie exclaimed loudly. "It's so pretty!"

Mal looked down at the ring and smiled. "Yeah it is."

There was a knock at the door making both girls wonder who it could be.

"Come in," Evie said.

Belle and Persephone came into the room.

"Hey, mom. Hey, Belle," Mal said. "What's up? How are things going?"

"Ben is still calling council members. Adam and Adam are with Carlos and they are looking at Trevor's phone records. Hadie is with Jay and the rest of the kids upstairs in Ben's game room. But we need to ask you something," Belle said as she closed the door behind her.

"What is it?" Mal asked as she scooted to the side of the bed.

"Mally. When Trevor finished did he…" Persephone started as she took steps in her direction. "Did he finish inside of you?"

Map looked at her mother then to Belle and then nodded her head.

"Mally I know this is a horrible thing that happened to you, but we need to see if we can take his sample and match it to him."

Mal's eyes shot open. They were to go inside her and take whatever he left. What if it's not even there anymore? Mal's mind started to run 100 miles.

"Mal?" Belle said. "This would help your case tremendously and prove he is guilty."

"Umm… okay. When are we doing it?" Mal asked.

"We can go now or we can wait a couple of hours." Belle told her.

Mal started to worry.

"Do I have to go alone?" She asked, looking up at her boyfriend's mother.

"No, sweetheart. Your mom can go with you if you want." Belle said, taking a seat next to Mal.

"Can all three of you come with me?" She asked, surprising Belle and Evie.

"Of course we will go," Belle said.

Mal looked to her best friend and saw her nodding.

"Thank you. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have any of you," she said getting choked up.

"We are here for you no matter what," Evie said, pulling Mal into a hug.

"Thank you," she said. She took a deep breath and wanted to get over with this as fast as possible. "Let's go now. I don't want to wait," she said.

"Okay. Let's go," Persephone said holding her hand out for her daughter.

Mal took her and all four of them walked out of the room. This was going to be really hard for Mal and she knew that. She just hoped after the trial everything would slowly go back to normal.

Mal was thankful that the doctors were able to get her in fast. Belle and Persephone held Mal's hands for support. When the doctor started to take the sample, Mal felt like she was bruised down there. It felt like it did when her and Ben had sex for the first time, but the pain didn't easy into pleasure. Mal was happy when the doctor finally finished. Belle had demanded that the results be a first priority and be sent to Ben's office as soon as they were done.

The four walked back into the castle just as Ben had finished his calls. He hadn't seen Mal since breakfast and it was almost dinner time now. He walked to her room and found it empty. He checked his and his was empty too. He started to panic. He didn't know if she ran off and that is a thought he never wanted to think of. He ran down the stairs hoping that she was somewhere close.

"Mal?!" he shouted as he reached the bottom of the stairs. "Mal?!"

"In here!" he heard, coming from the kitchen.

He ran to the kitchen, bursting through the door, until his eyes found Mal sitting with his mom, Persephone and Evie.

"I went looking for you after I made my calls and you weren't in your room or mine…" he rambled.

"And you thought I took off and you got scared?" Mal asked.

He slowly nodded his head and looked at the floor. "I just know tomorrow is going to be really hard for you." he admitted. "I'm sorry."

She stood from her stool and walked over to him.

"Hey." she said, making him look at her. "I'm not a runner. I'm a fighter. Well, except when Audrey was yelling at me the day we got here and the day of the big game." she said, making him laugh. "I just went to gather my own evidence for the trial tomorrow."

"What would that be?"

"Well, when Trevor finished… he finished inside of me…" Mal said. "So, Belle and my mom took E and I to the doctor… and they took his sample out of me, and the results should be on your desk in a couple of hours."

"Oh."

Ben didn't know how to react to the news. He knew it would help Mal in the trial, but now fully knowing that he had came in Mal made his blood run cold.

"Well, that will prove him to be guilty," Ben said. He locked eyes with Mal and pulled her by the waist. "I just want this over and for him to be punished."

"I know. I want it over too. I just hope that they believe me and not him," Mal said as she played with the buttons on Ben's jacket.

"Hey." Ben said, pulling Mal close to his chest. "There is no way in hell that I am going to let him win. I may not be the judge tomorrow, but I still won't let him get away with this shit."

Persephone smiled at her daughter and her boyfriend. All she ever wanted was for Mal to be happy. She had always wanted to be a good mother figure to Mal, and now here she was; calling her mom, happy, and in love. She only wished that she was able to protect her from being raped. There was no way, in her wildest dream, she would have thought something so vial would happen to her daughter. After Jay brought Mal to her on the Isle she vowed that nothing would ever happen or hurt her again, but she failed. She thought Mal would be safe in Auradon.

"I'm about to yak up my lunch," Hadie said, walking into the kitchen and noticed his sister and Ben in a loving embrace.

"Oh, you just wait until you get a girlfriend," Mal teased, turning to look at her brother.

"Well, that is where you made your mistake, you introduced me to him," Hadie stated back.

"He's got a point, babe," Ben said, making Mal snap her head to him. "Now I'm stuck with the girlfriend's annoying little brother," he said looking at Hadie with a smirk.

Hadie gaped at the King. He didn't expect a witty comeback out of both of them. Ben and Mal laughed, making Hadie grow embarrassed, because now his mom, Belle and Evie were laughing. He started to turn red and charged at his sister and her boyfriend. Ben was fast, tossing Mal up onto the counter and caught Hadie in a headlock before he was able to tackle Ben to the ground.

"What the f…" Hadie started.

"If I hear the last part of that word leave your mouth, Hadie Egan, I will let Pain and Panic follow you around for a whole year, when we get home," Hades said as he walked through the door.

Hades, Adam and everyone else walked into the kitchen and found Ben holding Hadie in a headlock. Hades looked at his son and then to Ben and squinted his eyes. He slowly stocked over to them, making Hadie smirk.

"Oh, you're in for it now, Bennyboo," Hadie said.

"Hold him still, Bennyboo," Hades said, making Hadie's eyes widen.

"Wait! What?" Hadie asked and then his dad started to give him a noogie. "AHHH! DAD STOP!" Hadie yelled.

"Say it," Hades said as he brushed his knuckles against his son's head.

"Fry my brain! I'll never say it," Hadie screeched.

"Do not fry his brain Hades! Let him go," Persephone said.

Ben and Hades let him go, making Hadie run behind his mom.

"Momma's boy," Mal teased as she hopped off the counter.

"You're a fine one to talk, daddy's girl," Hadie teased back.

Mal took a step toward him, but Ben wrapped his arms around her waist holding her in place.

"You're lucky I won't hurt him," Mal said, making everyone laugh.

"Okay. I think it's time to start dinner," Belle said as she started to shoo everyone out of the kitchen.

Every week Belle demands Mrs. Potts take a day off from cooking, much to Mrs. Potts constantly saying that it wasn't necessary

"Yep, and I am helping. So, out with all of you." Mal said wiggling out of Ben's arms.

"Mally?" Hades asked. "My daughter, Mallory? Is going to cook?" He asked in shock.

Ben walked up to him and nodded.

"And she is really good at it." he said, continuing to walk to the door. "And she doesn't like people lingering when she cooks," he joked. "She turns into a real dragon about it."

Mal turned to her boyfriend, reached on the counter, grabbed a muffin and threw it at him. He caught just as it was going to hit his face and smiled at her.

"Aww. Thanks, babe. I didn't get a chance to have lunch today," he teased as he took a bite out of the muffin and let the door close behind him.

"Do you need any help?" Persephone asked and her and Evie walked up to the counter.

"If you would like to help, we would love it," Belle said with a bright smile.

Hades and everyone else laughed as they walked out of the kitchen to let Belle, Evie, Pesephone and Mal make dinner.

After dinner everyone went to their rooms to get ready for tomorrow. Ben found Mal in her room listening to music and sketching. He closed the door behind him and walked to her bed. He sat down, making the bed shift and making Mal jump.

"Crap. I'm sorry, Mal," he told her.

She sighed in relief seeing that it was Ben next to her. She took her headphones out and placed her sketchbook on her nightstand.

"Sorry for being jumpy," she said, turning back to him.

"It's okay. I would be if I were in your shoes," he said.

"So, how did your calls go?"

"They went well. I didn't tell anyone what happened, except for your uncle. To say he was ragingly pissed the fuck off would be a huge understatment. I don't know if you heard the thunder earlier today." he said.

"That was my uncle?" she asked shocked. "I thought that it was just going to rain."

"People love you, Mal. Especially me." he said smiling at her. "He also said that we could hold the court in Olympus, but I told him it would be better if we kept it here at the castle like we did with Leah. Everyone thinks that we are just going to have a regular meeting here, but FG said she will, and I quote, bibbidi-bobbidi-boo Trevor and the rest of the council members' children in."

"You didn't tell Ariel or their family about what happened?" She asked.

He shook his head. "No. They are going to be just as surprised as Trevor is going to be." he said as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Won't he need a lawyer or something?" she asked. She started to think and panic. Didn't she need a lawyer? Did Ben get her one and didn't tell her? "Don't I need one?" She asked.

Ben shook his head. "No. This is a council trial. Lawyers aren't necessary." he said. "For royal trials, there are no lawyers, or jury, or judges. The defendant and plaintiff will tell their side, evidence will be provided and in some rare cases FG puts a truth spell on the room. The council will vote just like in Leah's case," he explained.

"And you're going to be in charge?" she asked.

"No. I am too close to the case. When everyone is in attendance the case will be presented and then a mediator will be picked." he explained.

Mal felt her stomach tighten. She was getting really nervous about tomorrow. She wanted to believe Ben and everyone else about everyone believing her and what happened, but she still had this feeling in the pit of her stomach that wasn't going away.

"Hey." Ben said scooting closer to Mal. He wrapped an arm around her, letting her rest her head against his shoulder. "Everything is going to be okay. There is no way in hell he is going to get away with this," he said and then kissed the top of her head.

"I guess it's just the feeling of going and seeing him again. It has been a day, but I am afraid to see him." she admitted.

Mal was a strong girl and was tough. She wasn't afraid of anyone, but her mother. The thought that someone broke her and made her afraid made her feel weak.

"Well, I am going to be there. Holding your hand the entire time. I am sorry that I wasn't able to protect you from him, but I sure as hell am going to protect you so that he can never do this to you or anyone ever again," he said to her.

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in," Mal called.

Evie opened the door and had clothes in her hands.

"Oh. Sorry. I just brought you clothes for tomorrow," she said, stopping half way through the door.

"It's okay, E. Ben and I were just talking," Mal said, smiling at her best friend.

Evie walked in and placed the clothes on Mal's chair.

"Your shoes your mom bought you for family day would look perfect with this," she said.

"Thank you, E."

"You're welcome. I was just…" she starred, but Mal's phone started to read.

Mal wondered who would be calling her. She flipped her phone over and saw the one person she never wanted to call her phone again. Trevor. Ben looked at the phone, snatching it out of her hand.

"Why the fuck is he calling? To fucking gloat?" Ben exclaimed.

"Should I answer?" Mal asked.

"NO!" Evie and Ben both shouted.

"I'll answer it," Evie said, holding her hand out for the phone. "I won't mention the trial and I'll ask if he knows where she is. Maybe he'll give something away and record this conversation."

Ben took his phone out and started recording, before pressing the answer and speaker button and then passed the phone to Evie.

"Hello?" Evie asked.

"Mal?"

"No, it's Evie. Have you seen Mal? We haven't seen her since yesterday and she didn't come back last night," she said.

"Umm, no I haven't seen her since Friday. That's why I was calling," he said.

Ben wrapped an arm around Mal and held her tight. Hearing Trevor lie made Mal sick.

"She was supposed to meet with the art club today, but she never showed. When was the last time you saw her?"

"At dinner yesterday. She left early with Ben, they had a small tiff, they left each other alone so they didn't say anything bad and no one has seen her," Evie said.

"Oh. They broke up?" He asked.

Ben growled a little, making Mal cover his mouth so Trevor didn't hear him.

"No. They just had an argument like every normal couple. We just don't know where she is and we have been looking everywhere."

"Is that why none of you were in school today?" He asked.

"Yes. My sister is missing. I prefer to think of where to find her than chemistry," Evie said.

"Well, maybe Ben knows where she is."

"Ben is out looking for her. Why would he know where she is?"

"Well, I'm not his biggest fan and he's not mine, but you know his dad kept a girl hostage. Maybe Ben's beast has come to play," Trevor said.

"What? Why would you say that?" Evie asked in shock. "Their soulmates and boyfriend and girlfriend. He had no need to keep her hostage," she stated.

Mal kept her grip tight on Ben so that he didn't actually let his beast out.

"Well, maybe she found that he wasn't for her anymore. They may be soulmates, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will be together forever," he told her. "But let me know when you find her or if I can help in any way," he said before he hung up.

Mal slowly let go of Ben's mouth, making him let out a loud roar. Evie threw Mal's phone on the bed and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Ben. Calm down."

Mal said, placing a hand on his chest.

"Calm down? How am I supposed to calm down when that fucking bastard is saying shit like that!" He exclaimed.

His breath was getting heavy and he was growling with each exhale. Mal stood and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Baby. Everything is fine. I'm here with you. Don't get angry. Please?" She begged.

His hands were shaking but he slowly placed them around her. He buried his face into her hair. Evie grabbed Ben's phone off the bed to turn off the recording.

"Ben. I'm going to send this to myself. If that's okay?" Evie asked.

Ben slowly looked up at her and nodded, not letting go of Mal.

"I think we should all get some rest. Especially the two of you," Evie said, pointing at the both of them before putting Ben's phone on the bed and walking out of the room.

"She's right. We should rest. I'll see you in the morning," Ben said to Mal before hissing the top of her head.

She looked up at him, shaking her head.

"Nope. You are staying here with me. You need me just as much as I need you," she told him.

He leaned down and gave her a small kiss.

"Thank you," he told her before taking her hand and walking back to her bed.

They crawled under the covers and cuddled into one another. Both of them laid there not saying anything. They were just enjoying being with each other. Both of them were just hoping that tomorrow would go as they hoped.
