*I DO NOT OWN DESCENDANTS*
WARNING FOR SWEARING and RAPE!!!
(MAL'S POV)
I was back in the meadow and laying on the floor. My face was being pushed to the ground. I couldn't move. I couldn't scream. I heard him moaning again.
"Trevor. Please." I cried. "Please stop."
"That's right, baby. Say my name."
He kept thrusting and thrusting. Harder and harder. I cried and cried. Was it ever going to end? I could feel his breath against my cheek. I wanted to die. I wanted everything to end right now. The trusting stopped, the moaning stopped, and the pressure was off my head. I looked around and I was alone. I was laying on the ground crying.
"Please. Let me die," I whispered over and over.
The thrusting started again and I cried louder. I crushed my eyes hoping that it would end.
"Come on, Mal. I know you like it."
"No!" I shouted.
I opened my eyes and saw light. I sat up and saw that I was in my room at Auradon castle. I was sweaty and breathing heavy. It was a dream. A nightmare. I looked to the other side of my bed and saw Ben was gone, but there was a piece of paper.
I woke up early to get things ready for today.
I'll be in my office if you need me.
I love you.
I placed the note down on my bedside table and brought my knees up to my chest. I can still feel it. I can still feel his hand on my back. I could feel his breath on my face. I let the tears building up in my eyes fall.
"Stop it, Mal. You're not weak," I told myself aloud. "You can't be weak. No one likes weak people. Don't ever let people see you this way."
I wiped my face and got out of bed. I needed to get my head straight. I walked into my bathroom to take a shower. I turned the water on so that it could get hot. I walked over to the mirror hanging over the sink and stared at my reflection.
"Don't let them see you broken. Don't let them see you weak." I said.
I took a deep breath before I looked away from the mirror so that I could get ready for today.
(NO ONES POV)
Mal stood in front of her floor length mirror. A thousand things flooding into her head. She had just changed and it was almost time to greet the council members. She stood looking at her outfit. A pair of purple tartan paper bag skinny pants with a pleated waistline, a matching boe belt around her waist, and a black lace sleeved ruffle neck blouse. She wore the shoes she mom gave her on family day and left her hair down with loose curls. She started to stay into space and play with Ben's signet ring sitting on her right index finger.
"Mal?" she heard from her door.
Mal turned to see who called her and saw Audrey standing in the doorway.
"Hey, Audrey," Mal said. "Did you need something?"
"Ben asked if I could come and get you. The first group of members will be here soon,"
Mal nodded her head.
"Don't worry about today," Audrey said. "Trevor is going to get what is coming to him."
Mal looked at the princess. After everything they have been through the past couple of months, she couldn't believe the change in Audrey. During the time between Ben's coronation and Christmas, Audrey strayed away from the VKs and Ben. She needed to think about how she treated the VKs and find out a way to fix it. She had been wrong. Mal jumped in front of her to have her from a sleeping curse. No one selfish and evil would do such a thing. Her grammy had been wrong about them and about everything.
"Thank you, Audrey," Mal said as she walked forward and wrapped her arms around the princess.
"You're welcome," she said, returning the hug. "But we better head down stairs before everyone comes looking for you."
Mal nodded and took a deep breath. She looped her arm through Audrey's, walked out of the room, and closed the door behind her. The two girls walked downstairs arm in arm.
After everyone was greeted and seated, they looked around the room and noticed all of the extra chairs.
"Your majesty," Tiana called as Ben took his seat at the table.
"Yes, Queen Tiana?"
"Why are there so many chairs for a council meeting?" she asked, dragging her finger around the room.
He took Mal's hand under the table and gave it a small squeeze.
"Well, that is why I have brought you all here today," he began. "Today will not be a normal council meeting, but instead it will be a trial."
Everyone in the room gasped, looking at the King.
"A trial for what?" Aurora asked.
"It will be a trial of assault and rape," Ben said as he stood from his seat.
The entire room went completely silent. The eyes of every royal in the room we shot wide open.
"Assault and rape?" Aurora asked, covering her mouth.
"Yes. I hate that this has come up and that it has happened, but a trial needs to be held." she stated firmly. "So, if we could have the rest of the attendees be in attendance," Ben said, nodding to FG.
She stood from her seat and waved her hands up. "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo," she said.
Puffs of blue smoke appeared around the room and when it cleared the rest of the AKs were standing around the room, looking confused.
"What's going on?" Alister asked.
Mal looked at Alister and froze when she saw Trevor standing behind him, staring at her. She felt Ben's had on the small of her back and she heard a small growl. She didn't have to look at Ben to know he was glaring at Trevor.
"Now that everyone is here. We can begin." Adam said. "Everyone please take your seats," Adam stated.
"Well, you can't start without me," they heard coming from the entryway.
They all turned and saw Hades standing in there with his arms crossed over his chest and Hadie standing next to him. Everyone in the room, besides the people who knew Hades was going to be there, stared at him in shock. They were surprised to see him in Auradon and wondered why he was, but no one noticed how pale Trevor had got when he saw Mal's dad.
"Oh, gods! Please tell me you didn't bring those idiots with you, Rex," Meg said as she slumped in her chair.
"His name is Hadie, NutMeg," Hades said as he closed the door behind himself.
"Alright before this turns into an insult war. Let's get on with the trial," Zeus said. "Hadie. You will come and sit by me," Zeus said holding his hand out to the empty seat next to him.
"Oh. ummm… okay," Hadie said, before walking to his seat.
Hades walked around the table, kissed Mal on the top of her head, and then took the empty seat by Adam. Everyone watched him in fear. No one was talking. It was so silent that you could hear a pin drop.
"So, let's get this show on the road, shall we?" Hades said.
Everyone took their seat in silence. Ben took a deep breath before Mal took his hand.
"Your majesty," Alice Kingsley said, making him look in her direction. "If you would please? Who is the victim of assault and rape, sire?" She asked.
"Rape?!" Hadie shouted. "Who was raped?!"
Mal took a deep breath and stood. All eyes shot to her and gasps were heard all through the room.
"Me," Mal said.
Hadie looked at his sister with wide eyes. He sat there with a gape in his mouth. How could someone hurt his sister?
"Mally?" He whispered.
"And why is this a council problem?"
Everyone sat at the table turned to see Leah sitting in one of the chairs behind the giant table.
"Why the hell are you here, Lady bitch from Hell?" Hades asked, looking at the former queen.
"This is a council…"
"Which you are not a part of anymore," Ben stated, glaring at her.
"That does not answer the question on why this is a council problem," she snapped back.
"Because Trevor did it you stuck up, no good, spoiled…" Jordan started to shout.
Chad stood and clasped his hand over his girlfriend's before she went off the rail even more. There were more gasps around the room. Trevor's family looked at him in disbelief. They didn't want to believe it was true. They looked back to where Mal was standing and saw the tears start to form in her eyes.
"YOU RAPED MY SISTER!" Hadie yelled as he stood from his seat only to be held back by Zeus. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME! HE'S GOING TO PAY!"
"Hadie!" Persephone yelled. "Sit down."
"No! That fucker is going to die!"
"Hadie?" He heard.
He turned to see his sister looking at him with tears in her eyes. He was shaking.
"Please?" She asked him.
Hadie's heart ached. He wanted nothing more in the world to hug his sister right now, but he was so angry he didn't know how to stop.
"Come on, little flame," Zeus whispered to him. "We need to get on with the trial." He said.
Zeus let him go once Hadie stopped shaking. He took a seat and returned his glare back at Trevor.
"I honestly don't know why we are even here." Leah said. "She is the spawn of a villain. Hell bent to destroy Auradon. The slut probably spelled Prince Trevor…" Leah started.
"LEAVE!" Audrey shouted, standing from her seat.
She glared at her grandmother. She was tired of all the mean and hateful things she says about Mal and she wasn't going to let her continue.
"I beg your pardon young lady. Just who do you think you are talking to?" Leah asked, looking at her granddaughter.
"You. I am tired of the crap that comes out of your mouth! Mal has done nothing wrong and if want to sit here being a bitch then you can just fucking leave, becasue no one wants you here!" Audrey shouted, taking a couple steps toward her grandmother.
Ariana stood up and walked to her cousin.
"What the hell, Audrey? Grammy is right! Mal probably…"
Audrey turned and slapped her cousin across her face before she could finish her sentence. Ariana raised her hand to her cheek to calm the stinging pain.
"Get the fuck out of here if you are going to agree with her! No one in this entire kingdom asked for something so vial and evil done to them. Nor should anyone lie about it!" she said to her cousin. "You are just like her and I am glad that I made myself see different."
Aurora, Phillip, and Stephan couldn't help but smile at Audrey. She had changed and they couldn't be more proud of her. She was sticking up for someone other than herself.
Ariana glared at her cousin. "I guess everyone is right. You don't deserve to be Queen." she said before she looked to Ben and Mal.
Ben was holding Mal in his arms as she cried. Ariana smirked at Ben, making him furrow his eyebrows at her.
"I'll see you later Bennyboo," Ariana said with a wink before she and her grandmother left.
Everyone watched as the former queen and princess left the room, making it aware to the council that Trevor was trying to leave too.
"Where do you think you are going?" Adam's voice boomed, making Trevor stop and turn back around.
"I'm leaving. I don't know why we are even here. I didn't rape her. She's lying," he said.
Everyone stared at the prince. No one knew what to believe until evidence had been provided.
"You're all really going to believe a villain kid over me?" he asked as if the answer was obvious.
"Trevor. Sit down," Eric stated firmly, glaring at his son.
Trevor glared at his parents. He looked to Mal and saw her resting her head against Ben's chest. I guess he didn't get through to her and he was going to have to be really convincing if he was going to get away with this. He walked forward and took a seat next to his father.
"Well, Ben can't be the mediator. He'll automatically find me guilty because Mal is his girlfriend," Trevor snapped looking at the couple.
"No shit, Sherlock!" Hades yelled.
Ben let go of Mal and gestured for her to take a seat. She sat down, but didn't let go of his hand.
"We need a mediator who is not biased or anywhere close to Trevor or Mal. So, the kingdoms of Olympus, The Isle of the Lost, Atlantica Land and Sea, Auroria…"
"Why not me, King Ben?" Queen Elsa said, cutting Ben off. "I will gladly be a mediator."
Ben looked at the Arendelle Queen. He knew she would be a good choice but the rest of the council needed to agree upon it.
"Are there any objections to Queen Elsa being today's mediator?" He asked.
There was no one who objected.
"Right. Let's begin." Ben said as he took his seat and interlocked his fingers with Mal's.
"Okay. Lady Mal," Queen Elsa called as she stood from her chair, and made Mal look up at the ice Queen.
"Yes, Queen Elsa," Mal said, trying not to let her voice sound like she was scared.
"Will you please tell us what happened the night of the incident?" She asked.
Mal stood from her chair, making her let go of Ben's hand. She was getting really nervous and her stomach was tightening again.
"It was Sunday night and I was with his majesty in his room."
"And what were you doing there?" Queen elsa asked.
"We were… spending time together," Mal said timidly.
Hades didn't like the tone of his daughter's voice. He squinted at Mal and then Ben. Ben looked at Hades out of the corner of his eye and saw Hades looking at him. Ben loosened his tie just a little because he felt like he was suffocating now.
"Go on," Elsa said.
"After a while my phone pinged, alerting me that someone had texted me. I don't hide things from Ben or my friend's, so Ben opened the message and saw that it was from Trevor." Mal said.
"What did the message say?" Tesla asked.
"The message said; 'Hey. The club is meeting tomorrow if you want to join. Hope you can make it. I miss seeing you all the time.'" she told the Queen.
"Do you have the message?" Elsa asked.
Mal nodded and pulled her phone out of her pocket. She unlocked the phone, opened the message and gave it Elsa. Elsa looked at the phone and then looked at Mal.
"Can I pass this around, Lady Mal?" Elsa asked.
"What does this have to do with anything?" Trevor asked. "I messaged her about an art club meeting."
"I want to know every detail, as well as the council," Elsa said as she passed Mal's phone to Tiana.
"Go on, Lady mal. What happened next?" she asked.
"His majesty and I had gotten into an argument," Mal said. "He and Trevor have not gotten along since Ben and I started dating. Trevor has made multiple attempts to flirt with me over the past couple of months, and each time I grew more and more uncomfortable." Mal said.
"What would he do?" Elsa asked.
"Umm… he would comment on how pretty I looked, stare at me during art, try walking me to my dorm…"
"Seems like all the things a gentleman does?" Elsa said, making Mal's blood run cold and Trevor smirk.
"The day before family day the art club got together to paint portraits to display around the room for the parents. Trevor came up to me and we were talking about what we were going to paint, until he started talking about how our lives had changed for the better. What with me being the girl from the wrong side of the bridge to now dating the crowned prince," Mal said. "I didn't know how to respond to that, so I just said 'yeah.' He then said that he was surprised that Ben and I were even together because we have nothing in common, which then I told him that opposites attract."
"Was this the first time that he made a comment like that?" Elsa asked.
"Yes."
"Okay, what happened after that?"
"I don't think he liked my answer, and told me he was going to let me get to work. The rest of the night he would smile at me, look in my direction, if I would get something I needed he would be next to me." Mal said. "I think Alister and Emma knew I was getting uncomfortable and they came to sit next to me. After we were all done and I spelled the room clean, with permission from FG, and we left. When we were in front of the dorms he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk with him, but I told him that it was almost curfew and that Ben would be worried if I wasn't in my room before then. The second was at the Christmas Eve ball. He asked me to dance and I didn't want to be rude so I said yes. We made small talk until he started to make comments."
"What sort of comments?"
"He made a comment about the necklace Ben gave me."
"Why?"
"I don't know. He gave me a shell necklace on the 19th before we all left campus for break," Mal said.
"Okay."
"He then said other than Ben being King he doesn't get what I see in him. I told him that Ben makes me happy and that I loved him. Trevor told me that he could be all of those things if I would just realize that Ben wasn't right for me." Mal said. "I told him that I didn't see him as anything other than a friend, but he said that I would come around and said that we have a lot more in common than I know, then tried to kiss me."
"Did you try to kiss her?" Elsa asked.
"Yes. She didn't give me any indication before that she didn't like me." Trevor said.
"Trevor." Ariel said, making him look at her. "Mal is with King Ben. You have no right to intrude on people's relationships and we told you that on family day," she scolded.
"Seems to me that fucker can't take a hit," Hadie snapped, glaring at Trevor.
"Hadie," Persephone said, warning him.
"Okay. I am going to back track a bit." Elsa said before looking at Trevor. "Lady Mal said that you and his majesty do not get along. Is that true?" Elsa asked.
"Yes. Ben and I have had our differences," Trevor said.
"What would that be?"
"King Ben and I have had our arguments about Mal," He said.
"Can you be more descriptive, please?"
"Our first confrontation was the day before his coronation. I was looking for Mal to ask her if she wanted to go to Atlantica for the weekend. He started to get angry and shouted at me. He told me to leave her alone, to stop flirting with her and then punched me in the face."
Ben hung his head as all eyes shot to him. Trevor was right, but he didn't say everything that had happened.
"King Ben. Is this true?" Elsa asked, making Ben look up at her.
"Yes, but that is only part of what happened," Ben said.
"Would you like to enlighten us please?"
"I had told him to stop flirting with her because he makes her feel uncomfortable. On family day, Trevor put his arm around her, making her jump and back away from him." Ben said. "He told me that he wasn't going to stop because I am not good enough for her and we would never last. I told him that she was my soulmate, but he just gave me the definition of what a soulmate is and said that we could end up being just friends. I told him that he didn't know anything about our relationship, which led him to say that I would never make her happy. I got mad and was about to punch him, but that is when Doug, Chad, Jay, Carlos, Aziz, and Ryder came. I told them what had happened. Jay and Carlos were not happy, he said that I would never make her happy again, then I punched him and left."
"Is this true, gentlemen?" Elsa asked, looking at the other boys.
"Yes, your highness," Carlos said.
She looked at the rest of the boys and all of them were nodding.
"Of course they're all going to agree with Ben." Trevor said. "They're his friends."
"Do you suggest we have a truth spell put on the room?" Elsa asked.
Trevor paled a little at the thought of the truth coming out.
"Why don't we hold off until all of the evidence is out? I would like the truth to be sharde out of free will not magic," FG suggested.
Elsa looked at her and nodded her head. "Very well."
"Lady Mal. Please continue. What was your argument with his majesty about?"
Mal looked to Ben and he gave her a nod.
"Ben wanted me to drop my art class and quit the art club, because he didn't want me around Trevor. We fought back and forth. I didn't want to quit because art is my favorite class and activity, but I didn't want Ben to be upset either." Mal said. "We said some things that we didn't mean and I left."
"Where did you go?"
"I went to my dorm room." Mal answered. "I wanted to give Ben time to think about what he said and I wanted to think about what I said."
"Okay. what happened after that?"
"Ben came knocking on my door. I wasn't ready to talk so I went to take a shower. When I was done I changed and started to sketch on my bed and then an envelope was slid under my door."
"Do you have the note?" Elsa asked.
Mal froze. She didn't know what happened to the note after she was hit over the head.
"I do, your majesty," Audrey said as she stood and pulled the note out of her dress pocket.
Audrey passed the note to Elsa then went back to her seat. She opened the note and then looked back at Mal.
"Who did you think this was from?"
"I thought it was from Ben, because it said they wanted to talk and to meet in my meadow." Mal said. "The handwriting is similar to Ben's and only he and my Isle friends know what meadow I like to go to."
"Okay. What did you do next, Lady Mal?"
"On my way to the meadow I ran into Audrey and I told her what was going on. She told me good luck and headed off to the gym." Mal said. "I teleported to the meadow and called out for Ben, but was hit on the head with something hard."
"Did you black out?"
"Yes. When I woke up I couldn't feel anything. My head was throbbing and I heard a moaning." Mal said as her voice cracked. Her breath hitched as she started to remember what happened. She wrapped her arms around her body to keep it still so people didn't see her shake. Ben placed his hand on her lower back when he said she crushed her eyes shut. She started to feel it again. His body pressed against hers. His breath against her face. "I didn't know who it was at first until he started to talk," she said as her tears streamed down her face. "He was saying things. I knew it was Trevor when he said 'maybe now you'll think about what I said'," she said. She turned her head so that people didn't see her weak. "I started to cry even more when I figured out it was him. I begged him to stop, but all he told me was to keep saying his name," she said as she started to sob louder. "I laid there crying because I couldn't get up. I couldn't move. When he finished he left me there laying on the floor. Before he left he told me that he hoped our little randevu would change my mind," she finished.
"Thank you, Lady Mal."
Persephone stood and walked over to her daughter. Mal's back was to Ben as she was sobbing. She knelt in front of Mal and started to run her back. Hades hated seeing his daughter like this. He wanted nothing more than to rip Trevor's throat out.
"Lady Mal?" Elsa called, making Mal look up at her through her tear filled eyes. "Do you mind if i question Trevor now? Or should we take a break?"
"No." Mal said as she straightened out her posture and wiped her eyes and nose. "Please continue. I'm sorry."
"Very well." Elsa said before turning to Trevor. "Is what Lady Mal said true?"
"Partly." Trevor said. "Yes. I was intimate with Mal, but I didn't rape her. I wrote her the note and she met me out there and we had sex. She never said stop," Trevor said.
"You piece of fucking…"
"Ben!" Adam roared. "Not now," he said.
"What?" Trevor asked, looking at Ben. "Can't handle that Mal chose to have sex with me and not you?" He asked with a smug grin.
Ben stood fast almost knocking his chair back. Hades was quick to jump up and rush to hold the King back.
"Stop." Hades said. "We need to get this shit over with," he whispered.
Ben kept his stare on Trevor. He could feel his body getting hot. His ears were ringing and his vision was blurring.
"Sit down," Hades said as he pushed Ben into his seat. "Queen Elsa. The floor is yours," he said as he walked back to his seat.
"Thank you." She nodded. "So, Trevor, you are saying that you and Lady Mal were intimate?"
"Yes."
All of Mal and Ben's friends and family looked livid. He wasn't denying last night. He was denying it being forced.
"If I may?" Belle said as she stood up.
"Yes, Queen Belle?"
Belle picked up a folder that was sitting on her lap and slid it to Queen Elsa.
"In there is a doctor examination that was performed on Mal yesterday," she said as Elsa opened the folder. "There were examinations done on her and the results say that she doesn't just have genital injuries, but vaginal lacerations as well," Belle stated.
Everyone looked at Trevor in shock. They couldn't believe that this could be happening.
"What can I say?" Trevor said, holding his hands out as he smirked. "Mal likes it rough."
This time it was Adam and Hercules who had to hold back Hades from jumping over the table. Hadie was being held by Zeus, Chad was being held by Jordan, Evie, Lonnie and Jane were holding Jay and Carlos, Doug and Audrey were holding back Aziz and Ryder, and Persephone was holding back Ben. Mal sat there in shock at the crap that was coming out of Trevor's mouth. How could he sit there and say these ridiculous things?
"There was also a sperm sample taken from Mal and the results of that should be in that envelope," she said pointing to the envelope.
Elsa picked up the envelope, opened the seel and read the results.
"It says here that the sample tested had two different matches," she said, making everyone freeze. "Trevor's and… King Ben's," she said as she slowly placed the paper back down.
Everyone looked at Ben in shock. Even Ben was in shock because after their first time they had been using condoms. Hades glared at him as Hercules and Adam tightened their grip and Persephone hit Ben over the back of his head.
"Ow!" Ben exclaimed. "Mal's my girlfriend! Why the hell would I rape her?"
"That's my motherly instinct, Benjamin. You had sex with my daughter," Persephone scolded.
"Last night," Mal whispered.
Everyone in the room was confused.
"What about last night, Mal?" Aurora asked.
"Ben can I use your phone please?" Mal said.
Ben gave her his phone and was confused at first then remembered the recording.
"Why do you need his phone Mal?" Elsa asked.
"Because Trevor called Mal's phone last night"
"Yeah. So?" Trevor asked.
Mal didn't answer back and just started to play the recording, making Trevor's eyes widen when he heard his own voice.
Everyone sat and listened to the recording and when it ended all eyes were glued to Trevor.
"Trevor? If you were with Lady Mal on Sunday why didn't you tell Evie?" Elsa asked.
"Mal didn't want anyone to know," Trevor said. "I mean could you blame her? How would you feel if rumors went around saying that you cheated on the King?" He asked.
His parents looked at him with disgust. They didn't want to believe that their son would do something so vial, but they also knew he was acting strange and has been since they told him the truth.
"Understandable but why lie and say you haven't seen her? Why not say you saw her without saying you were intimate?" Elsa questioned. "You heard the worry in Evie's voice. Yet you still acted as if you hadn't seen her."
Trevor didn't know what to say. He had to think of something fast.
"Well, like I said. Mal didn't want anyone to know about our little randevu," he said with a smirk.
Mal flinched at the word. She looked down at the table in front of her and closed her eyes.
"Okay. It seems to me that a truth spell is needed if we wanted this problem solved," she said. "But first I would like to determine the punishment for whoever is guilty." She stated.
No one else from the court had said anything during the entire trial. But how could you blame them? No one in there would have ever thought that a princess could commit such a crime nor would they think a villain kid would be on the other side of it.
"I suggest, because of the severity of the crime and accusations. Whoever is found guilty will be sent to the Isle of the Lost with no way of ever getting off. Does anyone object?" She asked.
The rest of the council shook their head, agreeing to the punishment.
"Okay. It is final. Now if I could have everyone please settle down and sit please?" Elsa asked.
Everyone who was holding someone let go of their grip and sat down in their seats. Ben took Mal's hand in his own and gave it another squeeze. He looked at her, but she didn't look back. She was worried. Worried that somehow Trevor was going to get away with it. That she was going to be sent back to the Isle and be separated from her friends, Belle, Adam, and Ben. She would be with her dad and brother, but she would never see Ben again or any of her friends. Ben brought her hand up to his lips and kissed the back of her hand. She broke out of her thoughts and looked at him. Tears gathered in her eyes when their eyes met. She didn't want to think of losing Ben. she knew she was innocent, but she would always doubt the council believing a villain kid over a prince.
"Everything is going to be fine, baby." Ben whispered as he kissed her hand again.
She gave him a tight smile and then looked at Queen Elsa.
"Jennifer, if you would please?" she asked, turning to FG.
FG stood from her seat and put her hands up in the air.
To see the truth,
To know the way,
I cast this spell in every way.
By the power of me,
I conjure thee
To say the truth
So it can be free.
Blue sparks came out of her hands and catered through the room. The sparks hit each person in the head, making everyone glow a light shade of blue for a couple of seconds.
"So how do we know this even works, FG?" Trevor asked. "For all we know you could be helping Mal," he said.
FG glared at Trevor. She felt insulted by the young prince's statement.
"Well, why don't we give it a shot?" She said with a tight smile before she turned and looked at the rest of the group.
"Lord Hades." She said. "What are your true feelings about his majesty dating your daughter?"
Everyone knew how protective Hades was of Mal and the banter he says to Ben.
"My true feelings are that I love them together. Am I pissed off that they have had sex? Yes. But I know he would never hurt my daughter. He is the only one worthy of her and I say that because no one else is." He stated.
"Thank you." FG said. "King Ben. What are your feelings toward Trevor?"
Ben looked at her with wide eyes.
"The truth is I hate him. I have hated him since the day of the big game, when I saw him talking to Mal. I got jealous because I loved Mal from the first time I saw her. I hate him for what he did to her and I want to rip his throat out. The only reason I have not, according to him, gone beast is because I don't want to scare Mal. She has been through enough with what that fucker did." He finished.
"Thank you, your majesty," she said with some hesitation.
No one ever heard Ben talk in such a way besides a couple of people when he has gotten mad.
"Now, for someone who is not close to Mal," FG said as she turned her attention to Ariel. "Princess Ariel. Is Trevor adopted?" She asked.
"Yes." She answered.
There were a lot of gasps around the room and wide eyes. Not many people knew he was adopted because he was adopted when he was adopted when he was about 9 months old.
"And not many people know about it right?"
"Yes. Trevor wanted to keep it to people he trusted, so that people didn't look at him differently." She said.
"Yes. And why is that?" FG asked.
Ariel stiffened. She knew the truth. Eric knew the truth. They had to tell FG when they enrolled him into Auradon Prep and told them how they came about the adoption, but they kept it from Trevor as long as they could. And after they told him he was a different person. He wasn't the kind and loving boy they loved.
"It's because he is from the Isle." She whispered.
"What?!" Multiple students shouted in surprise.
Trevor had been from the Isle? How? Why? Everyone's heads were spinning. No one could believe a person they have known their entire lives was from the Isle.
"Thank you." she said with a nod. "Now, Prince Trevor. There are two different versions of the story." she asked. "One where you forced himself upon Mal and one where you and she had concentual sex. Am I right?"
"Yes, it would appear so." Trevor said.
"And I want to inform everyone here that while under the truth spell no one is able to lie even if they try, the truth is the only thing that will come out." She said. "Queen Elsa. The floor is yours again."
"Thank you, Jen," Elsa said. "Now, Lady Mal did a lot of talking today, so I will ask Prince Trevor."
All eyes except for Mal's shot to Trevor. His eyes were closed and he took a deep breath before he looked at the ice queen.
"Trevor. Did you force yourself upon Lady Mal?"
He swallowed and broke his gaze.
"Yes."
Mal let out a breath that she didn't even know she was holding. He told the truth. He admitted to it.
"So, you admit to lying and raping Lady Mal?"
"Yes."
There were tears. Tears from a mother and tears from a victim. Eric stood and looked down at his son.
"What gave you the fucking right to do that to her?" Eric shouted. "You are a disappointment! Your mother and I have done everything to give you a good life and you do something like that! How could you!?"
"She didn't want to see reason. She wasn't listening like she should be." Trevor said glaring at Mal.
"And you think raping her was going to make her fall in love with you?" Eric asked.
"Well, obviously it didn't work." he snapped.
Eric stared at Trevor in horror. How could the baby boy he raised and loved turn out to be so evil? "I don't know who you are." he said as he walked to Ariel and pulled her into a hug.
Ariel's heart broke hearing her son say such horrible things. Melody stood and glared down at her brother. She was hurt. She loved him with all her heart and would do anything for him. She let her own tears fall as her eyes met his. All of the secrets they shared. All the happy memories she had with him. They're all gone. She'll never have another one. She lost her brother because he was evil. She hated him. She loathed him now. She raised her hand and slapped him across his face.
"I never want to see you again," she said before she walked out of the room.
When Trevor looked back he saw Mal being swarmed with her friends and family. Her brother had his arms around her waist and was crying into her stomach. Ben was behind her with his hand on the small of her back. Persephone and Belle were with Adam and Hades and the rest of her friends were around her. The sight disgusted him.
"Your majesty," Queen Elsa said, gaining Ben's attention. "I leave you to declare the trial finished."
"Thank you, Queen Elsa."
Ben stood straight and fixed his jacket before looking at Trevor.
"Trevor Hensen. In the case of rape and assult. The Auradon council finds you guilty." he stated firmly. "You will be sent to the Isle of the Lost with no way of appealing for your freedom," he said as he walked around the people and slowly over to Trevor. "Guards!"
The Auradon guards opened the door and walked halfway into the room.
"Yes, my lord."
"Take Trevor to the dungeons, while he waits to be taken to the Isle."
"Yes, my lord."
Two giant guards walked past Ben and flanked Trevor, pulling him out of the room. Ben walked behind them.
"One more thing," Ben said, making the guards stop and turn to him.
Ben walked up to Trevor, pulled his fist back and punched Trevor in the face, making his head toss backward. Trevor groaned from the pain. He lifted his head and looked at Ben with blood dripping from his nose and his mouth. Ben bent down close to Trevor's face.
"I hope they fuck you every which way from Sunday when you get there," he whispered before standing up straight.
Trevor smiled at him with his blood stained teeth.
"Kill the beast." He said, making a shiver run down Ben's spine.
"Get him out of my face."
The guards pulled Trevor out of the room and to the dungeons, leaving all of the other royals in the banquet hall.
Most of the royal had left. The only people who were still there were Mal, Ben, their parents, their friends, the Beaus, Mal's Olympus family and Trevor's parents. They were sitting around in silence.
"Lady Mal?" Ariel called.
Mal looked up at the princess.
"I would just like to say that we are sorry for what Trevor had done to you. I can't imagine the pain that you are going through," she said.
"It's not your fault. I wish none of this happened and…" Mal said, but she stopped. She didn't want people to see her weak. "But if you don't mind me asking? How did you get him from the Isle?"
Ariel took a deep breath and held onto her husband's hand.
"My father found him." she said. "He was found in between some rocks surrounding the Isle. He was in a broken basket and my father brought him to us." she said.
"We didn't know who his parents were until a couple of months ago," Eric said.
"Who are they?" Mal asked.
"Gaston."
All heads turned to see Ben sitting with his head in his hands.
"How did you know that?" Eric asked.
He looked up and pinched the bridge of his nose. "After I punched him, he smiled at me and said 'kill the beast'."
"King Ben, we are so sorry," Ariel said. "We had no idea…"
Ben held his hand up to her. "It's okay. He made the choices he did. I hate those choices involved my girlfriend, but I do not blame you for them," he said. "Do you want to see him before you leave? He's not being taken over there until tomorrow morning."
Ariel shook her head. "I can't. It's going to be too hard," she said.
"I understand. Your limo should be here soon. We'll walk you out." he said as he stood.
(BEN'S POV)
I was laying in my bed because I couldn't sleep. Today went well, but I couldn't help but feel that Mal was off. I looked at the clock on my bedside table. 4:00 a.m. I sat up, swinging my legs over the bed. Trevor was due to leave in five hours. Plenty of time. I quickly got dressed in sweats, a tshirt and my sneakers. I walked out of my room and closed the door. I walked to Mal's room and opened the door slightly and quietly. She was asleep in her bed and her back was to me. I quietly closed the door and started to make my way downstairs. I walked to the back door through the kitchen and up to the two guards standing in front of the staircase leading to the dungeons.
"Rogers. Smith." I greeted with a nod.
"Your majesty."
"I'll not be long," I said as Rogers gave me the keys.
"Yes. Your majesty."
I opened the door and closed it behind me. I walked all the way down to Trevor's cell and saw him lying down on the floor.
"So," I said, waking him. "You want to kill the beast?" I asked.
He sat up and rested his elbows on his knees.
"Well, I think it would be fair after you stole my girl, but you know what they say. Like father, like son right?" He asked.
"You a fine one to fucking talk." I said leaning against the bars. "You're worse than Gaston."
"I would think he would be proud of me," he said getting up from the ground.
He walked into the light and I saw that his nose and mouth were swollen.
"Looks like I did a good number on you there," I said pointing to his face. "Would daddy be proud of that?"
He scoffed. "You would never win in a fight between you and I. You don't have the balls," he said.
I took the keys and unlocked the cell door.
"You want to test that?" I asked walking into the cell. "I'm right here. Take your shot."
"You're joking," he scoffed. "I'll kill you."
"I'm right here." I said holding my arms out.
"Be on your head then," he said before he charged at me.
I quickly dodged him, making him run head first into the steel cell bars. He fell to the floor and groaned, probably from his head hitting the bars. He stood back up and ran at me with his fist flying toward my face. I grabbed his fist then the back of his arm and twisted it so that I turned him away from me and I had his arm twisted behind his back. I held onto it until I heard a crack.
"FUCK!" He screamed in pain.
"You want to feel the pain you caused Mal?" I asked. "The physical and mental pain you did to her?"
I let go of his arm, making him clutch it.
"Now. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't defend my girlfriend?" I asked before I punched him across his face, making him fall to the floor. I kneeled down and picked up his head by his hair. "I would be a bad one if I didn't," I said before I punched him again not letting go of his hair. "Come on, Trevor. Stand up. I'm giving you your shot," I said, pulling him to his feet by his hair.
He stood up still holding on to his arm. He was hunched over and his face was a bloody mess. I looked down at my fist and saw it was covered in his blood. I wiped it on my shirt before letting go of Trevor's hair. He stood their slouching forward. I placed my hands on his shoulders, bending down to look him in the eyes.
"I'm glad I did it," he said breathless.
"Oh, I bet you are, but you'll never get the chance again. To anyone'" I told him before I quickly brought my knee up into his crotch.
He fell to the floor and he couldn't catch his breath. I took a step forward next to his head and placed my foot on his neck.
"I could do it right now," I said as I applied a little bit of pressure. "I could make it quick, but I won't," I said, applying more pressure and closing his airway, making his gasp for air. "I want you to suffer. I want you to rote on that prison for the rest of your life. Even if you last days, weeks, months, or years. I want you to fucking suffer."
I took my foot off his neck and he gasped for air. I walked to the cell door and closed it behind me. I looked at Trevor through the bars and he didn't get up. He laid there groaning in pain. I walked away. Leaving him for his last few hours in Auradon.
I walked to the dungeon entrance and closed the door behind me. I gave the keys back to Rogers and walked back to my room. I closed the door behind me and walked to my bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that I had blood on my face, arms, shirt and pants. I took off my blood stained clothes and put them in my sink. I jumped into the shower and cleaned all the blood off me. When I had finished I put some boxers on and went to lay back in bed. I still couldn't fall back asleep. Beating up Trevor didn't make me feel completely better. I still felt off and I didn't know if it was because I felt Mal was off or if it was something else.
(March 3rd)
(ONE MONTH LATER)
Mal has been off since everything happened. She wanted to be alone more, she didn't want to sleep in my room, and she would go to bed early. I tried to talk to her, but she would always tell me she was fine and to not worry about her. Everyone was worried about her. She wasn't just shutting me out she was shutting out her friends and her parents. She hasn't talked to her parents much since they went back to the Isle. There have been multiple times where they would call me and ask where she was. I was getting worried about her. I tried talking to her more the past couple of days, but she had been sick. She was throwing up, had a fever and was dizzy. I left her asleep in her dorm and headed to the castle for a council meeting.
"Is everyone seated?" I asked Lumier as we walked through the castle.
"Yes, your majesty."
"Lu. How many times do I have to tell you that you don't have to use my title? You're family," I said.
"Many many times," Lumier said, laughing.
"Okay. Thank you and if Mal calls please let me know as soon as possible. She's sick and…"
"I will let you know," he said,
"Thank you."
I walked into the council room and all eyes were on me.
"I am sorry I am late," I said as I walked to my seat.
"It's okay, King Ben, but where is my beautiful niece?" Zeus asked.
"She has been sick for the past couple of days. I think she has the flu." I said.
"Oh, the poor little godling. Tell her we hope she feels better soon," he said.
"I will," I said with a smile. "Now. Shall we get this meeting started?"
"Okay. I think that should bring an end to this…" I started, but there was a knock at the door.
"Your majesty. I am sorry to interrupt, but you told me to tell you if Lady Mal called," he said.
"Yes. Is she okay?" I asked.
"Yes. She is here actually," he said. "She said she didn't want to disturb you and said she would wait in your office."
Weird. Mal would usually wait in her or my room.
"Oh. Okay. I'll be done here in about five minutes."
"Yes, your majesty," he said with a nod before he closed the door.
"Sorry about that. I told Lumier to tell me if Mal called," I said.
"No need for apologies," Aurora said. "Gone on and see her. We were done here anyway and we can show ourselves out."
"Thank you. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and safe travels home," I said before I left the room.
I ran upstairs to my office and saw the door was cracked open. I walked in and saw Mal sitting in one of the chairs in front of my desk. I closed the door behind me, making her aware that I was in the room. She turned to me and I smiled at her.
"Hi," I said walking up to her.
"Hey," she said.
"You look better," I said as I leaned down and kissed her cheek.
"Umm… yeah. I feel a little better," she said as she looked down at her lap and played with her nails.
"So, what did you need to need to talk about?" I asked as I leaned against my desk.
"Oh. umm… right…" she said.
She looked nervous and scared. I hated that she was holding things from me.
"Babe. Is everything okay?" I asked her.
She looked up at me and her eyes were glossy.
"I… ummm… I don't know how to say this," she said.
Say what? Is she going to open up and tell me what is bothering her?
"Babe, you can tell me anything. I'm always going to be here for you," I told her.
She looked at me and her eyes started to water. She looked away from me, looking back to her lap and started to let her sobs out.I kneeled down in front of her and pulled her into my arms. I rubbed her back, trying to sooth her.
"Baby, don't cry. Just tell me what's wrong and we will get through it. I will help you through it," I whispered in her ear.
"I don't think with this you want to," she cried against my shoulder.
I pulled away, making her look at me.
"Try me."
She broke our gaze again and looked to the floor, continuing to cry.
"I'm pregnant."
