Hello! What's up my people? I'm back again. Had a bunch of work and went on a trip or two camping for a while so I didn't have internet. Or a working toilet. Lul. Anyway here's the chapter! Chapter two has been redone by the way. Going to work on three after this. Leave a review or comment if you feel like it, I enjoy hearing feedback. Oh hey shoutout to FlyMoose who followed and favorited while I was writing the chapter. I'll probably start doing that now. Oh also Jakeyugi25.

Natsu had easily slipped out of the shower and flared a sliver of his magic. He was almost instantly dried as the water evaporated, filling the small bathroom with steam. Natsu was going to walk out but Mira's embarrassed face stood out in his mind. Humans and nudity didn't mix still. Natsu sighed to himself and tied a towel around his waist. He walked out and saw Mira look up from a book she'd been reading. She quickly requiped it away and looked up at him. Natsu went about his business and grabbed his clothes.

Natsu did his own thing while Mira just relaxed on the bed. She appreciated the sight in front of her. Natsu was extremely well built. He was quite pleasant on the eyes if she did say so herself. She wasn't the only one to notice either. Many of the female inhabitants of the guild also noticed, but none were so open about it like Mirajane. Natsu, of course, was oblivious to this. Oh well. It was fine as it seemed he wasn't completely hopeless. She supposed there wasn't anything wrong with that. She was relatively forward as it was.

Natsu walked back into the bathroom presumably to put on his pants. He had the foresight to put on a towel at least. That was nice. Mira noticed the scarf that he wore was laying on the bed. Her curiosity took hold of her. It had seemed rather soft the last time she'd felt it. Not at all like the scales it seemed to be made of. She padded over to it and grabbed it. Hmm. Pretty soft. The scaly patterned article seemed to be made of extremely soft scales though how that was possible was beyond her.

Natsu meanwhile had indeed gone into the bathroom to put on pants. He slipped into them easily and ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his eyes before opening the door. He looked on as Mira played around with his favorite article of clothing. Natsu had to stifle his laughter as he watched her rub it against her cheek. Natsu leaned against the doorway and watched the scene in front of him.

"Having fun there?" Natsu teased.

"Absolutely! This thing is so soft," Mira said, "How is it like this?"

"Igneel used his magic to make it out of his own scales. You'd have to ask him that."

"Remind me to do that then," Mira said, "I'm gonna steal this for right now."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah really. You so cruelly left this precious item on the bed and I rescued it from the dirty sheets."

"If that's what you're worried about, don't be. It won't get dirty. You could dunk it in mud and it would come out the same color. Dragon scales don't really get dirty because we can't really wash ourselves off that well. Well, water dragons can but other than that not really."

"Regardless of my reasons, it's warm and I like it."

"Yeah me too. Is it warm?"

"Relatively, yeah."

"Oh that's probably both mine and Igneel's magic then."

"I see," Mira said as she played with the scarf, wrapping it around her waist and tying it loosely like a belt. It hung loosely around her but was stopped by her hips. It perfectly matched the black dress she was wearing as it had white around the sleeves and neck. Natsu certainly didn't mind the look.

"Well, if everything is all ready, do you want to get to the guild?"

"I think so," Mira said, walking into the bathroom past Natsu. The two had been gone for a decent amount of time and Mira was eager to see her only living relative again. Elfman was probably fine but Mira worried.

"We have two options. We can go home with my magic or we can take a train," Natsu said as Mira looked at herself with the wall mounted mirror, "We have the train tickets but there's not much of a point if we want to be fast."

Mira thought for a moment before reaching a decision, "We've been gone for a while right? I think I'll chance it with your magic."

"Alright do you want to go to the guild or your house first?"

"House I think," Mira said before surprise jumped across her face, "The Fantasia Parade is in a few days."

"The what?"

"Fantasia Parade. Magnolia does it every year. Fairy Tail does a contest and then floats."

"What are floats?"

"You don't know what a float is?"

"I've never been to one of these parade thingies," Natsu shrugged.

"I guess that makes sense," Mira said, "Well a float is basically this big platform that is driven around. They get decorated and everyone just kind of does their own things."

"Sounds like fun," Natsu said, "How many are there?"

"As many as people feel like making. We try to add a bit of a special flare to all of ours," Mira said. She watched idly as Natsu focused magic into his hands and knelt down.

"What would this flare entail?" Natsu asked, creating a magic circle on the floor.

"Gray typically uses his magic to create sculptures or cannons and stuff and Erza does a show with all her different things," Mira said, "That's taking longer than last time."

"Yeah, the longer the distance the more magic it needs," Natsu said as he stood up. Flames licked at the floor but didn't burn anything, "Well, if you're ready, I'm ready."

"I think I am," Mira said. Natsu grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the circle. The last thing she saw was him winking before she felt a tugging sensation in her core. She didn't miss that feeling at all. In what felt like forever, they were in front of her house. Natsu and Mira said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.

There were a few members of the guild sprinkled around with Erza and Gray chatting idly about something before Gray nervously glanced over his shoulder. Upon seeing Natsu he calmed down. Natsu figured it was strange but hey, Gray was a strange person. Natsu walked up and sat down in the seat next to Erza.

"Natsu," Gray asked, "Did you see a blue haired woman?"

"No why?"

"Gray's got himself a stalker," Erza laughed.

"She won't leave me alone," Gray said, "It's so creepy!"

"Who is it?"

"Her name is Juvia," Erza said easily, "She was one of the Element 4, not that you'd remember who they are."

Natsu chuckled and rubbed the back of his head though he felt like he was sure he knew who Gray was talking about for some reason, "You're right about that one Erza. So why is she stalking you?"

"She's got it in her head that I'm her one true love and I've barely even had a conversation with her," Gray said as Natsu leaned back in the seat and closed his eyes.

"Did you do anything to cause that?" Erza asked.

"I may have… Potentially-" Gray said before sighing, "I accidentally touched her boob when I froze her solid."

Natsu proceeded to burst out laughing while Erza looked murderous. She stood up and had cocked her fist back but Natsu grabbed her arm. Erza looked at him but sat down, "Way I see it, you deserve the stalking."

"What?" Gray asked loudly, "That's bullshit it was an accident!"

"Well then Gray, be a bit more careful," Erza said still slightly glowering. Natsu fixed her with a look and her glare withered before the barest hint of a smile flashed across her face.

"Besides, it sounds like she enjoyed it," Natsu said as he opened his eyes and cracked a wide grin.

"Why do you say that?" Erza asked.

Natsu grinned even wider and pointed a finger behind Gray. Erza's smile also grew. Gray on the other hand, was not smiling. He slowly turned around to see none other than the bluenette in question hiding behind a seat, "Just ask her if you really care."

"That's a great idea Natsu!" Erza said, smirking.

"No no that's the exact opposite of what you shou-"

"Hey Juvia!" Natsu called, interrupting Gray, "Come over here for a bit."

To Gray's horror and everyone else's amusement, Natsu pointed at the seat next to Gray's own. He shook his head and tried to stand up but found that he couldn't move his legs. He looked down just to see small bands of blueish fire restraining him. He looked up wide eyed at Natsu who looked positively beside himself before Natsu mouthed that it was payback for making him face Erza. It was at this moment that Gray made a note to himself, be more careful next time he tried to mess with his friend. All further thought was cut off by Juvia sliding into his personal space and basically sitting on top of him. Oh Natsu was going to pay.

"So Juvia," Erza asked, "How did you meet Gray?"

"Juvia met her true love in a fight between her old guild and Gray-sama."

"Oh that's neat," Natsu said, "Oh I'm Natsu by the way."

"Hello Natsu-san, my name's Juvia Lockser," she said before snuggling closer to Gray who was frozen.

"So Juvia," Erza paused.

"Yes Love Rival?"

Natsu glanced at Erza who looked back at him and shrugged, "Are you going to the Fantasia Parade?"

"I do. I plan on winning for my Gray-sama so don't get any ideas Love Rival!" Juvia exclaimed. It was at this moment that Natsu realized that he still had Gray trapped. Maybe he'd gone a bit far. Juvia was… Something. Natsu undid his magic and nodded to Gray who quickly muttered something about needing to get home. Gray was gone less than a second later. Juvia followed him.

"So Mira explained a bit of the Parade to me but what else is done other than floats and stuff?" Natsu asked as he got up to get something to eat.

"There's also a little pageant which is basically just a competition to see who's the most attractive in the guild," Erza said, "The winner gets five hundred thousand jewels. Not to brag but I won last year and plan on winning again this year."

"Oh really?" Natsu asked, "When is it anyway?"

"Two days from now. Mira didn't tell you?"

"Not really. It was just a side thing. We were busy with other stuff," Natsu said, sitting down at the bar. Erza sat on the stool to his left.

"Like what?" Erza asked curiously before ordering strawberry cheesecake.

"She met my dad," Natsu said, "He likes her, I think."

"Does he now?" Erza asked, "And I assume you mean Igneel?"

"You remember his name huh?" Natsu asked, looking at the plate of food that was set in front of him.

"I do."

"I imagine that most wouldn't. You and Mira I guess," Natsu said, "Well actually, Metalhead and Levy I suppose."

"Metalhead?"

"Gajeel," Natsu said, taking a bite. Damn Mira spoiled him with her cooking. It tasted good but it really wasn't the same.

"Redfox? From Phantom Lord?" Erza asked. Natsu answered between bites, "Why would he remember your dad's name?"

"He's kind of a big deal in the dragon world, and was in the human world a couple hundred years ago. Plus it's just good manners."

"Dragons are weird," Erza muttered. Natsu chuckled.

"Mira said the same thing actually," Natsu said, "You humans are weird too ya know. Like who cares about clothing and stuff. It just gets dirty and it's not like you need it."

"You say it like you aren't a human. And besides, we have our traditions just like you have yours," Erza said before stopping and looking wide eyed at Natsu, "You didn't."

"Didn't what?"

"She saw you naked didn't she?" Erza squeaked.

"Yeah?" Natsu said, looking confused. Erza would have smacked him right then and there but the issue was that Natsu had handily kicked her ass in their fight. Erza started to talk but no words came out, just meaningless noises, "Hey Erza you doin alright?"

Erza blushed scarlet. It was a good thing Natsu couldn't read minds.

"Yo Erz, your face looks like a tomato," Natsu said, poking her cheek once or twice. Erza squeaked and proceeded to try and slam her fist into Natsu's jaw, but Natsu just stopped it, "I'm sure you're fine. Cheesecake?"

Erza's mind finally started functioning normally. Natsu made a mental note that cheesecake always seemed to get to Erza. The two were able to hold a semi-normal conversation but Erza refused to look Natsu in the eyes. Natsu didn't really care, not that he noticed anyway.

"Alright well Erza, I'm off," Natsu said, rubbing the back of his head.

He was hungry again. He was always hungry but still. It was closer to the night time and he had things to be doing (other than eating of course). Natsu sniffed around. His eyes flashed for a moment. He immediately walked to the closest bar and opened the door. Natsu quickly scanned the room before sitting down at the counter. He waved off the bartender and closed his eyes. He grinned and a small puff of smoke trailed out of the side of his mouth. He opened his eyes as someone pulled out the stool next to him and sat down.

"Dragneel," came the gruff voice.

"Nice to see you around Gajeel," Natsu said, "Hey now, cheer up! I smelt you poking around the guild earlier."

"The old man wanted me to join," the pierced man huffed, "and I figured I'd take your offer."

"I'm sure it'll be fun!" Natsu said cheerily.

"Are you an idiot?" Gajeel asked, "They'll kill me."

"Killings against the rules or something like that," Natsu shrugged, "Though, I'm not sure Laxus cares enough."

"Whatever Fairy Boy I'm only joining for the food," Gajeel grunted.

"Stop complaining, Redfox," Natsu said as he stood up and stretched.

"You're not in charge of me," Gajeel growled. Natsu smirked.

"Let's take this outside," Natsu said, "If I win, you join the guild. If you win, I'll personally see to it that you can do whatever you want."

Gajeel smirked, "This'll be easy."

Natsu grinned and Gajeel quickly downed the rest of his drink before slapping down the money required and leaving. Natsu followed at a leisurely pace and the two found themselves in a nice clearing. The two stood about ten feet apart. Natsu cracked a wide grin, "It's your move, Redfox."

"I'll only need the one," Gajeel said before sucking in air subtly. Any normal person wouldn't have noticed but Natsu wasn't exactly normal. Natsu didn't particularly care. He was thinking about whether he'd show off or not. Might as well right? What was a little extravagance between old sparring partners? Gajeel sucked in a quick breath, before unleashing it in a devastating Iron Dragon's Roar.

Natsu simply waited before sucking in his own breath. He waited until the opposing roar was but an inch from the bridge of his nose before unleashing a torrent of white hot fire that engulfed the metal roar. There was no clash, no resistance. The other roar was instantly vaporized. Gajeel could only watch as everything was swallowed by the fire in front of him. It carved into the ground and nearby trees burst into flame from the heat, despite being several feet away.

Gajeel's eyes widened as it came upon him before they snapped shut and he put his arms up, hoping not to die. The flame roared towards him and was a hair's breadth away from completely engulfing him but it split off into every different color and surrounded him. He slowly opened his eyes, not feeling the searing pain of fire. The flames had completely enveloped him and yet they didn't touch him or even burn. He dropped to his knees and stared as the flames slowly dissipated, revealing a pink haired man with scaly wings and two yellow horns that matched the color of his glowing eyes. He wore a smirk before finally dropping the act.

"Looks like I win!" Natsu said cheerily, leaving a dumbstruck Gajeel behind him as he walked away. He called back over his shoulder, "I'll see you at the guild tomorrow!"
