Sup I guess? I updated most of the chapters in this story so check them out if you want. Or don't. On with the chapter.

Natsu grinned as he and Mira made their way back into the guild hall. He had half the mind to pick a fight with Gray but he felt like there was something he needed to do first. He glanced around at the guild but couldn't quite place his finger on whatever it was he needed to do. Was he forgetting someone? Maybe it would be easier just to ask Mirajane since she often did a lot of his thinking for him. To any normal person, this would have probably been alarming but to Natsu it made perfect sense. The slayer walked around and quickly looked around before making his way over to Mirajane who was in the middle talking to Erza and Gray. Natsu chose to ignore Juvia who was sitting behind Gray's seat where he couldn't see. He was sure he'd find out at some point. Oh! Gajeel! He'd forgotten about him. He looked around but found that the moody, studded man was nowhere to be found. Gray later informed him that he was on a job with Levy and the rest of Team Shadow Gear.

Natsu was quickly pulled out of his thoughts as Mirajane pulled him down by the scarf so that he was in the seat next to her before whispering something in his ear. Gray's eyes widened just a bit and Erza turned red but neither of them said anything. While both knew the two were comfortable with each other, it'd been a while since they'd seen something so blatant from either of them. In all honesty, the two had a bit of a bet that the two would get together. Gray had said it would be within the month while Erza said it would likely take just a little longer. Nobody asked Juvia what she thought because they very rarely knew she was around though Gray couldn't help but feel like he was being watched almost constantly. To be fair, he was.

"How'd your trip to Hargeon go?" Gray asked, clearing his throat.

"Stopped some stupid poser going by my name," Natsu said as he fiddled with his necklace, "Tried to blow up his boat too."

Everybody (wisely) chose to ignore the way that Mira seemed to have some of Natsu's scarf around her. Mira spoke up, her voice taking on a teasing tone, "He wasn't that stupid. He was almost as smart as you Natsu."

Gray snorted, "Not that that's very hard."

"Say it again Ice Queen!" Natsu shot up.

Gray, never being one to back down, also shot up, "Gladly matchstick."

"Please if we should be calling anyone royalty, it should be Natsu," Mirajane said easily, "But try not to make a habit of it. His ego's large enough as it is."

Natsu let out an indignant noise before being quickly silenced. He mumbled something about it being unfair that they were ganging up on him. Mira simply shot back that Gray needed the help since he could never win an actual fight. Natsu laughed at this. Erza simply ate and observed her friends. Eventually, the topic did shift back to Hargeon as Erza was interested to hear about this person impersonating her friend.

"He used charm magic or something like that," Natsu shrugged, "Met some person who said they wanted to join a guild too."

"Lucy, Natsu," Mirajane chided, "She offered to pay for lunch since we helped her out."

"I feel sorry for her then," Erza said easily, "you two must have cleaned out her wallet."

"Well I did give her a celestial key so I think's its pretty fair," Natsu said nonchalantly.

"You just casually gave away a celestial key?" Gray asked, dumbfounded. While he didn't know a lot about the subject, he did know there were only twelve in Fiore.

"Didn't need it," Natsu brushed it off, "What am I going to do with it? Use it as a fork?"

"I'm sure you'd try Natsu," Erza said poking at him.

"Maybe," Natsu said as he took a bite out of Mira's food. Again, their two friends decided not to say anything. The topic slowly shifted towards the various other jobs that they'd done recently which eventually led them to debating who the strongest team in the guild was. Without Laxus, some of the other teams were looking a lot better. According to Gray, it looked like Team Shadow Gear now had a certain broody iron dragon slayer. In all honesty though, there weren't that many teams in the guild as it was. Reedus and Max often teamed up, and Alzack and Bisca basically only went on jobs together but other than that, there wasn't really any other major team.

"Why don't more people form teams?" Natsu asked.

"It means people have to split money," Erza said, "And that means you have to take harder jobs."

"And that means taking less jobs too," Mira chimed in.

"Why do you guys use money anyway?" Natsu asked. His friends looked at him like he'd grown another head.

"What do you mean? Everyone used money," Gray said, "I knew you were stupid but this is a new level."

"All I'm saying is that dragons don't use money and we seem a lot happier," Natsu leaned back in his chair, "Mira saw it too."

"I never really noticed it actually," Mira said, glancing at her friend, "I just thought everything was taken care of because your dad was in charge."

"It does make sense though, how would a dragon even carry money. And what would they use it for?" Erza asked, "It makes sense to assume you guys didn't have clothing stores or food stands or anything like that so there's no need for it. Plus, what do dragons even consider to be valuable?"

"Well you're right we don't have anything you can buy but we find all sorts of things valuable. A lot of dragons like to hoard things. We're really bad about it," Natsu said as he procured the signed board he'd gotten in Hargeon, "Like I keep things of sentimental value."

"What's that?"

"Oh just some board the guy impersonating me signed. As me. For me," Natsu shrugged before tossing it back. It disappeared into his little requip dimension. He then proceeded to pull out something that Mira recognized.

"Why do you have a boat?" Gray asked.

"More importantly," Mira asked, "Why didn't you tell me you had it?"

"What's the significance of this boat?" Erza asked, staring at it, "Where did you get that?"

Natsu glanced at Mira, "I made it."

"Natsu and I spent the night together in it after a date," Mira said easily. Natsu nodded happily.

"So why do you have it?" Gray asked, "And don't you get motion sickness on transportation?"

"Oh I just dulled my senses till I basically couldn't feel or see," Natsu scratched the back of his head, "So even though we were rocking the boat pretty bad, I didn't get sick."

Gray blinked. Erza flushed bright red. Mira made a mental note about having to try that in the future. The barmaid in question laughed happily. It was certainly a thought that she didn't mind.

"We didn't have sex," Mira laughed, "It was just hard getting in and out of the boat whenever we went swimming."

"Why would they think we're having sex?" Natsu asked cluelessly.

"No reason, Natsu," Gray said.

"Moving back to the money thing," Erza said, still slightly flushed, "I guess you'd have to talk to the king about that."

Natsu looked like he'd been struck, "That's genius!"

"Come again?" Mira asked, turning to her friend.

"Well yeah what's stopping us from asking the king why money is a thing?" Natsu asked, rubbing his arm. To him, it made perfect sense.

"Other than the fact that it's a train ride away and that people don't just go talk to the king," Gray said, "They might try to throw you in jail unless you were royalty or something?"

"Then that shouldn't be a problem for Natsu," Mira said as she played with the end of Natsu's scarf.

"What do you mean?" Erza asked as she leaned forward a bit.

"Yeah there's no way pyro over here is royalty. He tried to eat a plate the other day," Gray said pointing at the napkin Natsu was currently eating fire off of.

"He's the crown prince of the dragons, apparently," Mira shrugged, "I wasn't kidding when I said his dad was in charge."

"So let me get this straight," Erza said, "Natsu. This Natsu. The one who can barely figure out how to feed himself, is royalty?"

"Yeah," Natsu shrugged, "I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I still don't get why the king wouldn't want to see his people?"

"Dragons value each other a lot more than humans do I guess," Mira said nonchalantly, "There aren't many of them left so it makes sense."

"So Mira do you want to go see the king with me?" Natsu asked happily.

"I've been meaning to schedule another shoot and I wanted to look around Crocus so we might as well," Mira said easily, leaning back in her seat and looking at the ceiling.

"Oh the king is in Crocus?" Natsu asked, standing up, "Why didn't you say that? Let's go."

The other two of their friends were at a loss for words as Natsu yanked Mira into his arms before seemingly falling into a pool of fire. They couldn't be serious, could they? Gray shook his head. Knowing Natsu, he probably was. Gray was pulled from his thoughts by one armor clad female who informed him that they would be catching the next train to Crocus after informing their master of what had just occurred. Gray groaned. He just wanted a peaceful weekend.

Natsu grinned as he gently set his friend down. He'd had the foresight to bring Mira to her home in order to get whatever she needed.

"You know if you wanted some alone time you could have just asked," Mira teased.

Natsu grinned, "I know but I do want to go to Crocus and meet this King dude. Besides, we're going to get plenty of time on our trip. I don't think either of us have anywhere to be anytime soon."

"It's as good a time as any to go but I'm pretty sure they're not going to like you trying to talk to the king out of the blue."

"I'll figure it out," Natsu chirped happily, "let's just have a good time yeah?"

"Any time with you tends to be good time," Mira laughed, "You're pretty easy to laugh at."

"Very funny," Natsu deadpanned as Mira began to push him out of the room.

"Unless you want to see me shower and change, I'm going to ask you to step out."

Natsu nodded dumbly as his mind went blank at the thought. He was brought back to reality by the sound of the door closing behind him and Mira snickering before turning on her shower. Natsu rubbed his arm before going over to the couch and sitting down. Maybe he'd just close his eyes for a bit. He wanted to rest before he forced himself to get on a train. His eyes opened for a second. Actually, he needed to make a call. Hopefully this would work out the way he was thinking it would. He opened his palm and focused a bit of magic into it before an image began to pop up. A few moments later, Natsu was staring at a rather large fire dragon.

"Natsu?" Igneel grumbled, "What do you want I was trying to sleep?"

"I'm taking Mira to meet the king of Fiore and I want to make sure things go smoothly," Natsu said, "I was thinking we could go as royals from either the dragon kingdom or Alvarez."

"Going through quite the trouble to have a good date huh?"

"It's not like that!"

Igneel fixed him with a knowing stare, "I'll get someone on that."

"How long do you think it should take?"

"A few days at worst and by tomorrow at best?" Igneel rumbled, "Take a day or two and just relax. I'm sure she'd appreciate being able to take her time."

Natsu rumbled contemplatively, "Good idea! Thanks!"

"And give your girlfriend my regards would ya?" Igneel laughed before severing his side of the connection.

Natsu swiped his palm up and the fire fizzled out in a small puff. Natsu leaned back and let himself sprawl out on the couch. It felt pretty nice. Maybe he should invest in one of these. He grinned as he decided it would be much easier to just break into Mira's place and sleep on it. Then he wouldn't have to go through the trouble and he might get a meal out of it too though he reminded himself that there was a great chance he could get himself kicked in the balls. Igneel had for less. Natsu stopped himself from laughing. That was a good memory. At some point, Natsu ended up dozing off.

He wasn't sure when he'd been joined by his favorite platinum blonde barmaid but he was sure that he was enjoying it. He'd woken up when he felt someone lay down on top of him. He didn't need to open his eyes to know who it was. Mirajane had gotten out of the shower and made her way downstairs to find her dragon slayer, only to find him asleep on the couch looking far to cute for his own good. She'd smiled at the way he was sprawled out on the couch. He looked quite peaceful. She had settled for sitting down on the couch with him but she'd given in when she felt how warm he was. She liked warm. Besides, she was sure he wouldn't mind. She knew she wouldn't have.

The two sat there for an unknown amount of time but eventually, Natsu's eyes cracked open. He took a deep breath and smiled. This was absolutely something he could get used to. He looked at his chest and took in the mop of hair on his chest. At some point, she'd taken off his scarf and placed it around them. He grinned. She really did look cute with it on. Hmm. He'd have to ask Igneel how to make one. He was sure his wings could provide him with enough scales. He gently placed his arm on the small of her back and used his fingers to trace light circles on it. He wasn't even entirely sure why he was doing that but he brushed it off. She seemed to be liking it given the way that she pressed her face into his chest.

Not for the first time, Mira was glad that Natsu really only wore an open jacket. She curled her arms around him and unabashedly let her hands have a bit of fun exploring his back. For as thick as his skin was, it was surprisingly soft. When she'd first met him, she'd thought that his skin would be almost like scales but now she knew that wasn't the truth. She smiled a bit as he started tracing circles on her back. As much as she liked it, they weren't going to get anything done unless they got up.

"Having fun?" Mira asked, pushing herself up so she could look at the dragon slayer.

"You're always fun," Natsu said. His voice had a sleepy undertone that Mira found to be adorable. He sucked in a breath before moving so he could sit up. He used his arms to push himself up so that he was leaning on one of the arms of the couch. It had been a good nap.

"I can be a lot more fun if we do this more often," Mira grinned. For the second time today, Natsu's mind went blank. Mira giggled as he shook his head and smiled.

"I think I'll hold you to that," Natsu said as he stretched a bit. He didn't notice the way that Mira's gaze raked over him appreciatively. As much as she was used to attractive people, he really was something else.

"So what's the plan for today?" Mira asked as he breathed out a puff of smoke and smiled happily.

"Well, we have to get to Crocus and then I was thinking we could spend a little bit there before we go and meet the king and stuff," Natsu rolled his shoulders a bit before placing his hands behind his head. Mira, once again, couldn't stop herself from looking.

"Do you want to do a shoot with me while we're there?" Mira asked. If he did want to, she had plans for him.

Natsu closed his eyes for a second and let his head tilt back before responding, "Sounds like fun."

"I was thinking we could go grab something to eat and then we can go look around and see if there's anything interesting," Mira said. Natsu's head snapped up and he fixed her with his normal foxy grin, "I take it you like that plan."

"Any plan with you is a good one," Natsu said before deflating a bit.

"What's gotten into you," Mira teased as she poked his chest.

"Do we have to take a train?"

Mira laughed, "I knew you were going to ask me that."

"It's a good question," Natsu said as Mira began to get up. It was best to get a head start. She let him get up before responding.

"If," Mira smiled and tapped his nose, "You're good, we can come back with your magic."

Natsu smiled happily at this. This was a win in his book. Fewer train rides were always a win. He shook his head before stretching a bit. The sooner the two of them left, the sooner he could get his train ride over with. Natsu grinned at Mira as they made their way over to the door.

Their train ride had been mostly uneventful. Natsu had, of course, barely kept it together. Mira had gotten a good laugh at his misfortune. It was funny to her that someone as strong as Natsu had as big of a weakness as this. She did suppose that he could fly so it wasn't really a weakness. That did bring up the question of how he was able to fly without getting motion sick. She asked him about it but he said that he wasn't transportation and so he didn't get sick.

"I'm pretty sure that's not how that works," Mira said as they walked away from the train station. She'd had to stop him from trying to melt the train as he got off.

"Sure it is!" Natsu said happily, "I never got sick when Igneel flew me around because he isn't transportation."

Mira concluded that it had something to do with his mentality, "Whatever you say Natsu."

He fixed her with his foxy grin, "You're right."

Natsu was quickly distracted by something shiny at a nearby storefront. Mirajane rolled her eyes at his antics. He was lucky he was cute, "Slow down, we're going to be here for a while."

Natsu mock pouted, "But there's so much to look at!"

"And we have as long as we'd like to look," Mirajane smiled, "And I thought you wanted to eat something first."

Natsu's eyes widened a bit, "What are we waiting for let's go!"

"Do you even know where you want to go?" Mira asked as he grabbed her hand and began to pull her along.

Natsu stopped for a second, "Nope!"

Mirajane laughed, "Think with your brain, not your stomach."

"We both know I don't really use either of those," Natsu said as he looked around discretely.

"Believe me, I know," Mirajane said as she poked his chest and leaned in a bit. She'd noticed his shift in demeanor, "What's up?"

"Someone's watching us," Natsu said evenly, "They're around that store I wanted to look at earlier."

Mirajane's eyes flicked around, "Why don't we go eat and if they're still around we can figure out what's going on?"

Natsu's wide grin appeared once more, "You always come up with the best plans."

"Of course I do," Mirajane giggled, "Every plan is good compared to yours."

"Not true," Natsu laughed as they began to walk towards a restaurant Mira knew, "I recall several dates that went great."

"Oh please," Mira smiled as she recalled them, "They only worked out because you're good company."

Natsu grinned, "That doesn't mean it wasn't a good plan. It just means nobody else could have pulled it off!"

Mirajane smiled as they strolled, "I guess you're right."

"I'm often right," Natsu smirked.

"I guess I've rubbed off on you then."

He wasn't sure where they were going, but Mira seemed to know well enough. As they made their way around, Mira explained that this was a place she always tried to go to whenever she was in Crocus. According to her, they had really good bar food. Natsu shrugged that off. Their food couldn't compare to his friends cooking. As they walked towards the restaurant, they made amiable conversation. It didn't take them long to find it and get seated. Some of the waiters seemed to know Mira and a good deal of them recognized Natsu which confused him. Mira said it had to do with the articles Jason wrote about him. Natsu had forgotten about that. He thought it was a bit strange that people would write things about other people just for entertainment purposes but he shrugged it off. Humans were weird. Mira had ordered for both of them which Natsu appreciated. He probably wouldn't have been able to choose. He did, however, get to choose his drink. Both Mira and he had opted for just water.

"I was thinking that we give it an hour before we go to talk to Jason," Mira said after wiping her mouth with her napkin, "Maybe we can get an inn while we wait?"

Natsu nodded in agreement though he couldn't remember exactly who Jason was, "Works for me. Who's Jason again."

"Blonde guy with the big hair spike. Says cool a lot," Mira said, taking a sip of water.

"Oh him. He hurt my ears," Natsu said before taking another bite of his burger. It was pretty good.

"Oh I'm sorry," Mira's eyes flashed teasingly as she reached out and pulled his cheek, "Did the little baby get his ears hurt?"

Natsu smiled, "If you had hearing as good as mine, you wouldn't be teasing me."

"You'll just have to show me some time. It's been a while since we did that," Mirajane said. She'd finished her meal and was feeling pretty content, "I was thinking about the fun we could have with that."

"What fun do you have in mind?" Natsu asked. Mira smiled devilishly, "On second thought, why don't we talk about that tonight."

Mira's smile grew a bit as she looked at her friend, "Have something in mind?"

Natsu grinned a bit as he finished his meal and downed the last of his water, "I'm sure we could find something worth while to do."

"I have a few ideas."

"Your wish is my command," Natsu said as the waiter handed them the bill. Once again, he pulled out too many and Mira had to help him.

"I think I'll hold you to that."

After paying for the food and renting a room at a nearby inn, the duo made their way over to the Sorcerer's Magazine buildings. It wasn't long before they'd been set up with another shoot. Jason had insisted that it be him to do it and neither of them minded. Natsu just asked him to not be as loud. Mirajane had no other issues. Luckily for Natsu (and more specifically his ears), Jason easily swapped into a more professional persona and got to work. What Natsu didn't know was that Mira had made a few special requests about their shoot. He didn't think much of it when they were moved a larger room with several lacrima placed around them. He just imagined it was part of the shoot. To be fair, they were.

"Alright, whenever you guys are ready we'll get the cameras rolling and we can do a few pictures," Jason said. Mirajane quickly flipped into one of her satan souls before turning to Natsu and whispering. Natsu heard the click of a camera but chose to ignore it.

"I forgot to tell you we'd be doing a magic shoot," Mira said, "if you're uncomfortable just tell me and we can call it."

Natsu ignored the clicks, "I don't really care I just don't know what I'm supposed to be doing."

"Seems whatever we're doing is working so go ahead and just do what you want," Mira shrugged as she turned back to the camera and leaned on him. He shrugged and focused a bit of magic into his back and lower spine. The telltale sounds of bones cracking and knitting together almost interrupted the shoot but they were the pros for a reason. Seconds later, a half transformed Natsu stood behind the platinum blonde. She hadn't turned around but she could feel that he'd gotten taller. Natsu meanwhile, had his signature grin plastered on his face as he crossed his arms and easily rested them on his friends head. More clicks. He chose to ignore the blonde woman from the last shoot they'd done entering the room.

Natsu (now without his normal jacket) stood taller with his signature wings and two golden horns peaking out of his salmon hair. As per usual, his eyes had a few scales around them and his tail swung and coiled idly behind him. He grinned as the cameras clicked. If they wanted magic, here it was. He glanced down at his friend who slightly shifted so that she was standing more towards his side. Hmm. He had an idea. He casually draped one of his arms around his friend and let his tail coil wrap around her waist. If the cameras were going fast before, it was nothing compared to now.

"Enjoying yourself," Natsu asked as Mira looked up at him.

"Mora than you know," She grinned coyly, "Do me a favor."

"Anything fo-" Natsu was cut off as Mira pulled him down by the scarf and kissed him on the cheek. He flushed but his scales didn't show it.

"Remind me to do this more often," she said easily before turning around and smirking at the camera. Natsu watched as she let go of her transformation and instinctively wrapped his wings around her so only the upper portion of her body was visible. Natsu felt Mira lean into him and move her head back to look at him. Wow. She was right about doing this more often.

Fr the rest of the shoot, things went pretty well. The two of them moved around each other with such fluidity and normality that Jason couldn't help but consider this to be one of his most successful shoots. Eventually, when things were coming to a close, Mirajane dropped her satan soul for the final time. The two of them had both swapped back and forth on a few different occasions. Natsu grinned as soon as she did and picked her up bridal style. With an easy beat of his wings, they were hovering easily a foot or two off the ground. Natsu flashed the camera a foxy grin and Mira couldn't help but notice the jealous look on her old modeling rival's face. The cameras flashed one final time and they set back down.

"Well, that's a wrap," Jason said as he walked over. Natsu carefully set Mira down, "Give us a little bit and we'll get your results back to you within the hour."

Natsu grinned. He liked this guy and his draconic side like that he'd written good things about him. Dragons were prideful creatures, "What are you guys going to do with these?"

"Well, after we review them, we have the option to greenlight them. If we like them, they can be used. If we don't, they get deleted," Mira said as she ran a hand through her hair and turned to Natsu, "How's your head?"

"I got used to the flashing pretty quick," Natsu shrugged, "When would they go out?"

Jason easily answered this, "Well we have enough pictures to fill several weeks worth of our normal slots so we might do a special edition for you guys."

"What would be in it?"

"We'd probably sit you guys down for an interview or two, take some solo pictures if you wanted, and we could be done with everything by the end of the day. After that, it might take a week or two for final edits and we could pull you guys back to do a final review before it goes out," Jason said as he flipped through some of the images. He grinned and suppressed the urge to say "cool".

Mira turned to Natsu who just shrugged. If he was fine with it, she was fine with it, "Tell me when you need us in and we're down."

"Take an hour and relax. We'll call you when the pictures are ready and we can do your interview at the same time," Jason said. He looked elated. Natsu was too busy looking around to notice but Mira quickly pulled him out of his thoughts. She dragged him along to one of the separate rooms they had for their models to relax and touch up in. Today had been pretty fun so far minus the train ride. He grinned at her as she plopped down on the couch. Natsu felt like eating which was to be expected.

"Do you think they have snacks?" Natsu asked as he spied a small fridge in the corner.

"I'm sure they won't after you're done with them," she chuckled as he instantly went over and nearly ripped the fridge door off its hinges.

"So why'd you want to do this?" Natsu asked as he nabbed a bag of mixed chips. Mirajane smiled a bit.

"Just wanted to remind people about some stuff," she shrugged. The answer was good enough for Natsu as he continued to happily munch away, "Did you have fun?"

"I don't think I could do it too often but I enjoyed it."

"Good," Mira beamed. Natsu grabbed something else from the fridge and quickly made his way over to the couch.

"What do you think they're going to interview us about?" Natsu said, "And what are interviews exactly? Like I get they ask you questions but why?"

The woman next to him smiled, "No idea what they're going to ask. As for why, I don't really get it either but people like seeing into others lives and view it as a form of entertainment."

"Don't they have better things to do?" Natsu asked, "I know I do."

"And what would that be?"

"Eating, fighting, you name it," Natsu said as he grabbed another handful of snacks. Mira stole a bag from him. He had a good point.

Their interview went pretty well. Natsu thought it did at least. He wasn't too sure though. Interviews weren't his thing. Mira had assured him it'd been great so he just took her word for it. Now, all they had to do was review their photos and they could be on their way. He didn't see why any of them wouldn't be able to go out. Maybe they looked strange? Not for the first time that day, he concluded that humans were strange. Mirajane had led him into a slightly darker room. Jason was already waiting there, shuffling through printed versions of the photos. Natsu was excited to see them.

"We've got the results of your shoot right here on the table so feel free to look through them. I'll delete any that you don't like and the rest will go in our new edition but I doubt you guys won't like many," Jason said as he leaned back in his chair. Natsu thought nothing of it and he and Mira began to sort through the various images. Jason had been right. Most of them were great though Mira seemed a bit more selective. She easily sorted through them with practiced ease. Natsu was glad he didn't have to do this all the time. One or two of the photos caught his eye and he caught one. They really did have some good shots of him and Mira. He reached out and grabbed two pictures that he really liked and asked if they minded if he kept them. They didn't. Natsu had tossed tossed them into his requip dimension and they were done. Mira also asked to keep a copy of a few and Jason agreed. Almost every picture they took would be going out. Natsu didn't mind much since up until recently, he'd been under the assumption that all of them would be published.

After a few quick goodbyes and a hearty dinner, the duo found themselves at their inn. It was a nice place and their room was pretty spacious. Natsu had asked if Mira wanted him to stay in a separate room but she'd just fixed him with a look and shook her head. Worked for him. Natsu grinned as he flopped down onto the couch. Today had been a good day. Mira had mentioned wanting to shower so Natsu was happily playing with a ball of fire on the couch. While not the best idea in a room that was mostly covered with wooden flooring, it kept the dragon slayer occupied. He'd been pretty sure that this inn had a pool and he was dying to check it out. Swimming was fun though Gray had looked at him strangely when he saw that Natsu sunk if he didn't keep swimming. Mira had agreed to go with him too so that was a bonus, and while he was confused why she'd want to shower first, he brushed it off as a weird trait his best friend had. He made sure to change while she was still showering

Several minutes later, the bathroom door swung open lightly and Natsu idly observed his favorite barmaid and model walk around their room. She'd changed (obviously) and was now wearing something similar to the outfit she wore when they were doing their first shoot. Natsu found that he quite liked it. Mirajane didn't mind the attention she was getting from her male companion and actually found that she quite welcomed it. It was good to see that he liked the way she looked. She strolled languidly towards the door and watched (with no small amount of satisfaction) the way Natsu followed her every move.

"Whenever you're ready, Natsu," She called over her shoulder. Natsu look like he'd been struck and hopped up off the couch to follow. She stifled a laugh as Natsu joined her.

"You look nice," Natsu said, rubbing the back of his head.

"You don't look half bad yourself," Mirajane said, grabbing his arm. She was unsure where he'd gotten the shirt and trunks from but chose to ignore it.

"What'd you think of the pictures from earlier?" Natsu asked as he walked next to her.

"Definitely some of my best work and for sure your best work," Mira said, "not that you've had much experience anyway."

"Really?" Natsu questioned, "What made this one look so good?"

She blew on her nails, "Oh my partner for sure. I didn't think you'd do the whole half dragon thing."

Natsu shrugged, "We were doing magic and I thought the look fit. Did you like it?"

The platinum blonde giggled, "Like is understating it. I know I was joking about staying transformed but you might have to stay that way permanently."

Natsu couldn't help but feel proud, "I'm sure you'd love that."

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't," Mirajane said unabashedly, "I wasn't expecting it at all but I think it definitely pulled the look together."

"You looked good doing it so I figured I might as well," Natsu said as they put their stuff down on a pool chair. It was relatively empty.

"I'm glad you did," Mira said as Natsu pulled off his shirt. Maybe she should take him to go swimming more often.

"I had no idea what I was doing," Natsu said as Mira practically dragged him towards the pool.

"Really?" Mira was surprised, "Felt like you knew exactly what you wanted to do."

Natsu shook his head, "Most of it was on the spot."

Mira smirked a bit, "So you just wanted to do that thing with your tail?"

Natsu had to stop himself from blushing, "Don't act like you didn't enjoy it."

Mira laughed, "I guess I did tell you I liked being tied up."
