Kion was still in shock at how Ramses just died on the spot from just one bullet from Joel's own rifle. Joel himself was hugging a scared Chris, who was shaking, but not crying after whatbhe had been through. "It's ok, buddy." Joel assured him. "I'm here for you." he looked at Kion and said: "I'm really glad you kids are not hurt."
Simba and Nala ran up to their only son, and so did Kiara, Kovu, and all the other lions.
"Kion," said Nala, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." Kion replied to her. He suddenly remembered seeing Rani being knocked unconscious, and rushed over to her aid to see if she was alright.
"I thought we would lose you." said Kiara. She looked at Ramses and wasn't sure if he was still alive or not. "Is he... is he... dead?" Kiara asked
Joel went up to the dead, deranged lion and checked for a pulse. "I don't feel his heartbeat." he admitted. "He is dead."
Kion felt a touch of surprise, but a big touch of relief at the same time. Surprised because he thought he would never see one of his greatest nemesees fall like this. Relief struck him because he was glad that one of his most dangerous ebemies have keeled over dead.
Ramses would never be able to hurt or hunt down Kion again, and he heard the sound of his family and friends cheering. The rest of the Lion's Bane could hardly believe it and Harif asked: "What just happened?" the lions and other animals stopped cheering when they heard the surly honey badger, and gave them all serious looks.
"your evil leader is dead." said Simba. "Ramses was a fool and he paid the price for almost eliminating my own son." he looked bold and stern at this group of renegades.
Deep down, Harif, Makucha, Tuma, Draak, and Mpishi from their confidence sink down below their feet as their leader was no more. "i can't believe it." said Makucha. "I didn't think it would come to this."
"And to he beaten by a bunch of weak animals like this." said Harif
"How was that even possible?" asked Mpishi.
"Simple." said Persephone. "My husband and his trusted rifle."
"You mess with my new friends," said Chris, "then you mess with me." he looked angry and tough on the Lion's Bane. "My dad saved me."
"What are you guys?" asked Tuma, looking quite scared. He abd his cronies thought this was some type of dark magic with that gun of Joel's.
"We're humans." said Tara. "No one messes with my little brother, or my family."
"and nobody messes woth my family, and all the good animals I love." Kiara said, looking ready to tear the Lion's Bane limb from limb by herself.
"I will give you all a chance to go back to the Outlands." Simba continued. "Turn around, and leave the Pride Lands now." he narrowed his eyes. "Should you ever come back here, there will be no second chances. And if you all come near my son again, you are going to wish that you never met us, or set foot in my homeland in the first place."
"I say let's kill them." Chris said. "they almost killed me and Kion."
"As dangerous as they are," Simba said, "I'm not like them, Chris."
"but they're dangerous." said Vitani. "I say they should he executed."
"They might go after Kion again. we can't risk it again."
"Silence." Simba said in a calm voice. "If we all just execute them like this, then we might stoop to their level. The last thing I want to be like is Scar."
"I understand." Nala said.
"And I have the Roar of the Elders still." Kion said. "I can always just blast them back to the Outlands if they try anything evil."
Simba smiled at his son, and said: "that's my boy."
All the good animals and humans looked at the five animals, who still looked like they have seen a ghost. "I never want to see your faces again. You have caused so much trouble in the Pride Lands just to try to kill me and my friends."
"Yes. So I will say this one more time, because I am not going to say it again." Simba said. "Leave now! and don't ever let me catch you in the Pride Lands again."
"OK. OK, just please don't have those freaks magically kill us too." said Makucha. normally, he would be calm, cool, and collected, but with seeing Ramses get killed off like this, his bravery had left him. That, and he was tired and exhausted from all the fighting, like his cohorts were.
"We'll do anything." said Draak.
"Then leave." Simba said. "And like I said before: never return."
All the Lion's Bane ran away in terror. Hopefully this is the last time they will be seen by Kion, and all those he cared about. Although, these dangerous renegades might come back one day, even though they have gotten a final warning from Simba himself. It didn't stop Zira when she was exiled from the Pride Lands, and evilly plotted against Simba before she reformed into a better lioness. One thing was for sure though; if they do come back, then Kion and the others will be waiting for them to strike and make their move in the future. They all looked at the body of the now deceased Ramses, who laid motionless and lifeless. "It's over." said Kion. "It's finally over."
"Looks like you'll never worry about him again, Kion." said Chris." and he looked at his father before addressing. "Thanks for saving me, dad."
"You are very welcome, son."
It was just then Rani came back from being stunned and looked around. "What happened?"
"Ramses knocked you out." said Kifaru.
"Yes, but Joel himself killed the crazy cat." Chikelu added boldly. "Ramses was far too dangerous to be kept alive. He would have never stopped trying to kill Kion."
"I think you're right. But i'm safe." said Kion, feeling himself hugged by Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Zira, even Vitani hugged him to show how much they truly love him.
