Timon and Pumbaa looked a little uneasy with the humans, but Simba told them to trust in these creatures as much as he trusts them. Good thing that these good friends were easygoing and friendly to any friendly faces they can meet.

"So, you guys are humans?" asked Timon

"Yep." said Tara. "We're closely related to chimpanzees and we know how to use tools like they would do. We know how to use things for our own advantage. "And who might you guys be?"

"I'm Timon, and this is my best cohort, Pumbaa. Just stand clear when he farts."

"I do not fart all the time, Timon!" said Pumbaa, looking embarrassed. "And did u tell you guys that I was sorry before over and over again?"

"Calm down, Pumbaa." said Simba. "We all know it's a bad habit."

"I wouldn't say bad habit." the red warthog admitted.

"I would." Zazu said. "Take it from me."

"No one asked you, big beak!" Timon said.

"Who are you calling big beak, you twit?" both the hornbill and Meerkat start shoving their faces against one another as if they were going to fight.

Nala intervened before things would get ugly. "Knock it off, you guys!" she ordered. "Not in front of our new human friends."

"Where did you guys come from?" Jasiri asked curiously.

"I don't think that it would go well if we told you." said Persephone.

"Yeah, you might think we're crazy." Chris added." But you missed it, Ramses and the Lion's Bane tried to attack my friends."

"It's true." said Kion. "He was out to kill me again and he was about to take me and Chris if not for his dad. He saved us all."

"Ramses is dead at last?" asked Jasiri. "Good. He'll never be able to try and hurt my friends again." he looked at Chris and said to him: "I am really glad that you guys are going to live here."

"Actually Jasiri," said Kion. "This is only a temporary trip for them. Like a vacation. They have to go back to their home in a few days."

"Oh."

"You know, kid." said Pumbaa, "Your hand sure does look like a chimpanzee." Chris felt Timon gently touch and look at his hands, observing them."

"It's nice to meet you guys." Chris said to the meerkat and warthog. "What do you do?"

"Ah, we live anywhere we want and we are just a pair of simple animals making their way into this world."

"We like to have fun and eat as much gruv as possible. Nice and fresh."

"Grub?" asked Chris.

"He means bugs, Chris." said Joel, grossing out his own son. "I know I know, but it's how these animals eat. Besides, moles do it, and they're not disgusting."

"True."

"You want some grub, kiddo?" Pumbaa foraged the ground and a couple of rocks, and they look delectable to these two friends, but the human, not so much." Despite how gross and sickening it was. Chris felt himself getting a little touch from something behind him. "They taste like chicken."

"better than chicken." Timon urged him.

"Thanks but no thanks." said Chris. "I already ate some steak s little while ago before I met Kion."

"Meh, your loss, kid." said Timon. He and his warthog friend were happy to indulge themselves with more insects and bugs for their mouths to enjoy.

"I'm glad Ramses is finally gone." Jasiri said. "With him killed, Kion won't be in danger from him anymore. Sure, the rest of the Lion's Bane is still out there, but that Ramses? he was the worst of the bunch."

"You're not wrong, Jasiri." said Kiara. "But I don't think we should worry about the Lion's Bane anymore."

"Why is that?"

"Because Joel killed Ramses," Vitani explained, "The morale of those guys dropped down below sea level. Alpha males are a big part of a group of animals."

"or alpha females," said Zira. "If one animal kills an alpha in some cases, like a family of baboons, then the whole group becomes frightened and they will be driven back."

"What mother means is that:" Kovu explained, "with Ramses dead, the other members of the Lion's Bane probably won't be coming back any time soon."

"Yeah. They are afraid of Chris and his family." Kion said. "Like is said, Jasiri, you should have been here to see it."

"Well, it's fine. I do believe you guys." the female hyena said. "Good riddance to that crazy lion."

"He was crazy." Nala agreed. "Full of hatred and anger. He was like... Scar times ten, or Scar times fifty."

"That's a good way to put it, Nala." said Simba. "As bad as my uncle was, Ramses would have taken an evil reign to a whole new level. Way worse than Scar."

"So is anyone hurt?" asked Tara

"A couple of dogs and lions were hurt in the process." said Akilah. "But mostly just some scratches."

"Good." Tara said.

"I have to admit," said Chikelu. "You humans are quite an interesting species. And you're not hurt, are you Chris?" he looked down and sniffed his big nose on the human child.

"No. A little dirty but not hurt. But it was scary."

"Yes. it can be scary. But what matters is that you are alright." said Chikelu with a smile. "My son is taking a big liking to you."

Chris smiled to hear that, and he could tell this large rhinoceros was taking a liking to him as well, especially asking for his own safety. One can say that he is a gentle giant to his smaller friends.

"Let's just be glad he is gone forever." said Kion. "I know I'll be safer than ever with Ramses gone." Kion then felt himself being hugged by Simba.

"I couldn't agree more, Kion." said Simba. "I thought I would have lost you forever. But I'm so glad you're safe."

Poor Kion was a little uncomfortable being hugged tightly like this by his father and he said: "alright dad, I love you too." he grunted. "Can you please let go of me?"

The king did just that and released him in an instant. "I'm sorry, son." he smiled. "I just love you so much. Don't ever doubt that."

"I'll never doubt it." said Kion. "But look at you. you're kinda hurt from the scratches."

"Don't worry about me, Kion." his father brushed off. "Just some scratches. I've suffered worse before." he licked the blood off his right arm from what Ramses did to him. Simba at least still put up a good fight with him. Alas, these kind of fights were not without suffering some form of injuries.

Chikelu suffered a few slices from Draak's huge incisors, but the large rhino managed to overcome the hippo. But if it was in the water, it would have been a different story and Draak would have had the upper hoof. Besides, Chikelu gave the aggressive hippo more injuries thanks to his two horns on his nose. Perhaps the Lion's Bane might never come back here since their glorious, yet deranged leader was dead. Deep down, Kion wondered if there would be any more dangers out their in the Pride Lands besides his usual enemies.

He knew deep down that there will probably be more dangerous enemies coming in the future. Of course; he didn't know when these new strong enemies might come. It could happen tomorrow, a week, or when he gets into a teenager or as old as his father. But, what he did know was; he would always be ready to face them in any way he can with his friends, or alone if needed. "Are you ok, Chris?" he asked his new human friend.

Chris smiled, and said: "I'm ok. Thanks to my dad."

"Aw, come here, big guy." Joel picked up Chris and gave him a hug. "So, tell us about yourself, Jasiri."

"Yeah, we've never seen hyenas out here before." said Persephone.

"Well, I am a good friend of Kion and met him many months ago." said Jasiri. "At first, he didn't trust me, because his daddy here told me bad things about me and my species." she looked at Simba, who had a guilty look on his face, remembering how horrible he thought of hyenas and how the lived (mostly because they were involved in killing his father with Scar), "but Kion realized there is more to hyenas than meets the eye." She continued explaining about how she met Kion and how he taught him that there are hyenas that follow the circle of life as well.

The more they hear about it, the more interested the human family became over the course of her narrating.

"So, he was lost in the Outlands, and I helped him out, and that's when we became friends."

"But, I didn't tell my dad about it right away, because I thought he would be mad at me for fraternizing with a hyena, so I decided to wait over time to tell my parents a good time about Jasiri." Kion added. "when it was time, he was surprised, but he understood, and realized what many hyenas are truly like." The humans were more interested, and it made them want to meet the other talking animals out here in the Pride Lands.

"Do you have any friends out there in the Outlands?" asked Chris.

"Oh yeah. I have many outside the Pride Lands. And... you see those mountains over there?" he pointed his right paw at the Rwenzori mountains int he far distance where there was snow covering the peaks of it. "There are mountain gorillas that live up there. And there are other animals out there we know. There used to be some Hyenas that were enemies to me and my friends, but they made peace with us and we're friends with them."

"You want to see more friends of ours?" asked Simba. "They might like you."

"Sure. We would like that." said Persephone, who was more than delighted by the idea. The other humans were in full agreement and they bid a temporary farewell to the Wild Dog clan, and went to meet the other animals with the Lion Guard, Kion's parents, Kiara, Kovu, Zira, Vitani, Rani, Chikelu and Kifaru. The humans, who were traveling with them met Imari and his eland herd, the black rhino mother and child, and other kinds of animals they can find. All in all, these animals were really liking these humans, and Kion was glad to have met them first. If he didn't meet these humans, then these four creatures would have last their way and feel unwelcome to his beloved home.
