Poor Chris was slowly having he life squeezed out of him as Mjinja the rock python had him in his large, gigantic coils. His face was getting bluer and bluer every second that he was getting suffocated. He couldn't call for help and he thought it was the end of him.

"Now just hold still, close your eyes, and relax so I won't make too much of a messsssss." said Mjinja. He opened his mouth very wide and was about to have Chris in it.

At the very last second of this, a roar that sounded like a leopard was heard and Kion sprang from the bushes to save his human friend, and he gasped at seeing what was going on right now. "Chris!" Kion yelled

Mjinja closed his mouth slowly and smiled at seeing his enemy come out of the brush like this. "Well, looks like it's two meals for the price of one." he grinned wickedly.

"Let him go, Mjinja!" said Kion demandingly. The python did just that and let the boy go, making Chris scoot away in terror.

"How about this: I will eat him first as my appetizer and I will have you as the main course." the python said.

"Never!" said a male voice. It was Joel, popping out from the bushes with Rani. He cocked his gun and was ready to take down the monstrous snake. "You mess with my son, you mess with me! Let him go or you'll get a bullet in your skull!"

"No Joel!" Kion stopped him. "I dealt with him before, I'll deal with him again."

"Same with me." Rani stepped in to help.

Joel really hated to see his son in this kind situation, but he reluctantly decided to let the two lions take down Mjinja. "Who is this guy?"

"This is Mjinja." said Kion

"That's him?" asked Joel. "He's scarier than I thought."

"Not as scary as Ramses, but still scary." Rani pointed before roaring and charging at the rock python, biting on his scaly skin.

Mjinja hissed and snarled in pain as blood trickled down where Rani was biting deep with her sharp teeth.

Kion stepped in to help and tried biting Mjinja's throat (a common tactic lions would do to kill their prey before eating them), but his teeth were not strong enough to break the snake's skull or his brain.

"You kids are really annoying." Mjinja hissed.

"Dad!" Chris shouted, hugging to the side of his father in fear. "I got a ya, son. You ok?"

"Uh-huh. But I think I feel bruised. But we need to help our friends!"

Kion and Rani felt themselves whipped off the snake's body and they were thrown to the ground as if they were nothing but large ants to Mjinja.

"Oh yeah son, he is definitely going down." he cocked his rifle again and was about to pull the trigger after clicking the safety mode. At the last minute, Adewale, and seven others popped out of the bush to stop the snake from trying to eat the kids.

Mjinja's heart sank and he knew he couldn't win this fight. "Oh no." he breathed as he looked pale.

"So, you have appeared and trespassed in our home once more." said Adewale in a stern and disapproving voice. "You have alot of nerve coming back here, Mjinja."

"Ade," Mjinja tried to sound innocent as possible. "I was just strolling by here, that's all. Yesssssss, I was just slithering my way home."

"He's lying!" Chris pointed his left finger at the python. "He was going to kill and eat me, and my friends!"

Mjinja hissed at how the boy just squealed on him like a pig. No one likes a tattle tale after all. Adewale and his brethren growled and gave the python a dirty look. "You are as wicked as ever python. Leave now, and go find your meal somewhere else. Never return, or I will give you a stomping of a lifetime."

"Very well." said Mjinja, sounding defeated. "I will just leave now while I have much to live- hyah!" suddenly, he made a move that no one expected a python like him to do. Mjinja lunged at Adewale and tied his legs together woth his long, thick coils, catching everyone off-guard.

Yes, this would he something least expected for a python to do. Alas, another one of the Emela-Ntouka managed to get his grazing, herbivorous teeth on thr snake, and tried to crush him..

Mjinka felt the weight on his body and it was like it was crushing him.

It forced him to let go of Adewale's legs and the Emela-Ntouka through the python in the air, making him fly many hundreds of yards from where the group was, and a faint thump was heard.

"That... was so unexpected." said Joel.

"I know.' Chris said

"Well, are you ok, Chris?" Kion said

"Yeah. Thanks to you guys." the boy sounded very grateful. "I would have turned into snake food if not for you guys."

"I would hate to even think about that." his father remarked. Just always remember to watch your step, sport."

"I will dad. I promise."

"Well I'm glad that's over." said Adewale. "First time I have ever seen him do that kind of trick before. I didn't even think he would perform a trick like that for a snake that big."

"Chris!" said female voices. It was Tara and Persephone, who hugged the human kid. "Chris, are you alright?" asked Tara

"What happened?" asked Persephone.

"It's... a long story." Rani said. "Mjinja the snake came out of nowhere while Chris was done with... you know, and tried to eat him."

"Wasn't he that snake Adewale told us about?" asked Tara

"Yes. He is a very dangerous force to he reckoned with. But alas, we stopped him and we know for sure, he will never be able to slither in my territory again." Adewale boldly said.
