"Well hello, Hiccup. It's nice to meet you buddy. Sorry about... freaking out earlier. We dragons aren't used to beings like you, and you can talk to us, which makes it more weird." My father said to him.
My mom comes in and looks at him in my paw, "And may I say, you look absolutely adorable." She says. I knew they would eventually warm up to him, and now I just need to introduce Hiccup to them.
"Hiccup, this is my mother and father, and of course my brother Shadow. Please don't be afraid of them. They won't hurt you." I tell him.
"Yeah, little guy,"Shadow came in, signaling for me to give Hiccup to him. I was hesitant at first, but I obliged, making sure that he was gentle with him as he grabbed him, "You're too tiny and cute for anyone to even think about hurting you."
He seemed scared while being held by him at first, but after a minute it looked like his fear dropped after he realized that none of us have bad intentions.
He still looks slightly troubled, most likely due to the fact that he is surrounded by, to him, giant dragons.
"Oh, almost forgot! Like Draco here said, my name's Shadow. Shadow Fury. Nice to meet you Hiccup." Shadow says to him while giving h a welcoming nuzzle.
Hiccup hugged one of his claws, being the adorable one he is, "Nice to meet you too, Shadow." I hear him say.
Shadow gives him back to me and I tuck him protectively against my chest, glad that he is with me again.
I look down at him, "Hiccup, this is my father." I turn towards him.
"How you doing, little buddy? The names Asger Fury, Draco's dad. Glad to meet you." He says to him.
I turn towards my mother, and she says, "Hello there little one. My name is Ase Fury. I'm so glad Draco found you and brought you here." That makes two of us.
"And Hiccup," I look at him, "My name, like they said, is Draco, but you may continue calling me Toothless, I find it a cute nickname anyway."
Shadow snickers a little, and I couldn't help but hit him in the head with my tail. That shut him up.
"Draco, Shadow, be nice to each other," I roll my eyes. Seriously, I am 300 years old, 19 in dragon years, and so is my brother. They didn't need to treat us like children anymore, "So Hiccup, how do you know how to speak to dragons?"
Hiccup takes in a sharp breath, no doubt uncomfortable talking about his mother, "I... don't really feel comfortable explaining right now."
They look confused as to why he wouldn't want to give such information, but I nod to them showing to let it go, and that it will be brought up at a letter time.
I'm sitting there cuddling Hiccup when I remember that the alpha would not appreciate me sneaking in a human hatchling without telling him.
"Sorry to cut our reunion short," I announce, "but I have to introduce him to the alpha."
My father gives a look of understanding, "Hm, that's probably a good idea. Don't want him finding out on his own."
"I guess the earlier the better. Sooner we get it done the sooner we can get Hiccup situated here." My mother added in.
I am nervous about this. While it may have been pretty easy to introduce Hiccup to my parents, it will not be the same for the alpha. While I know he will warm up to him eventually, it will take a little bit as he is very protective of us.
I remember where the alpha is located, as his location is obvious, it is at the large, almost mountain like crystal at the middle of the hidden world.
I hold Hiccup securely against my chest, and look towards my parents and brother, "I'll be back later." I say and fly off.
I fly towards the massive crystal that is the alphas throne, and I begin to think about Hiccup and I's relationship.
I found him in the forest, terrified, sad, about to be murdered cold blood by his own father, no... sire.
I took him away from his so called home, and killed his sire so he could not cause any further pain. But that's not the point.
When I first looked into his eyes, those beautiful, tiny green eyes, like mine, I instantly fell in love, and I felt a connection between our very hearts and souls.
I promised to take care of him for the rest of his life, and that is a promise that I will die for.
I will do anything for my new son. Wait...
Did I just call him... my son?
I suppose it fits, as his former one, no wait, he didn't have a father before. Stoick didn't deserve to hold that title. He hurt Hiccup, and of course, his mother passed away.
Both of his birth givers are gone, which leaves him with only me. Me and my family, and my role now, to him, is his caretaker.
His father.
His protector.
And his role to me is my son. My hatchling. My pride and joy. My precious, cute, tiny, and special baby boy.
And I would not let the alpha change that. No matter what he says or does.
I am pulled from my thoughts by Hiccup, who is looking up ate with concern.
"Are you okay?" He says as he rubs my paw with a hand.
I give him a nuzzle and lick, "Of course I am Hiccup."
I look forward and see the throne of the alpha. This was it.
I land softly on the ground as I approach what was the actual throne. It is guarded by two flaredawns.
I quickly cover Hiccup as to not cause the guards to not cause a full out panic, and I quietly walk past the guards.
I walk up the hill towards the top, and I see him. The alpha.
Alpha Cloudjumper.
Sorry to end it right here but I promise I'll have the next chapter up by tomorrow. Either as early as 2 am, because yes, I stay up until then, or later. Until then, peace.
