Poor Kion was still afraid of that dream he had. The events of Inuwa and his dark magic still haunted him to this day. Yes, trauma can be a very tough thing to get rid of, something like a worst kind of parasite any animal can have on him or her.

He might have to face the fact that the trauma will probably stick to him for the rest of his life. But, he knew that he needed to move on somehow and he can always count on his family to help make him feel better.

Speaking of which: he was still hugging Kiara, and his big sis was keeping close to him for comfort. The future queen won't leave Kions' side until he was one-hundred percent better. Kiara kept on soothing him and making sure he wasn't crying anymore. She hated to see her little brother like this, though she couldn't help but put some of the blame on herself. Kiara might have been brainwashed by Inuwa's evil magic, but she was still aware of what was going on.

"Kion, can I tell you something?" said Kiara

"Yeah, what is it?" Kion wiped tears from his eyes.

"When I was... under Inuwa's control," she looked more guilty, "I really was suffering inside. I was trying so hard to break free from Inuwa's evil spell, but it was too strong for me."

Kion looked at her, and he remembered that she was the kindest one to him when she was brainwashed during that time. zit made him happy knowing that she tried so hard to break from from Inuwa's influence. "I figured." said Kion. "I remember you hugging me when I admit I was afraid, but..." he slightly turned away from his older sister.

Kiara gave him a sympathetic look. "But what, Kion?" she asked.

"It looked like you were trying to kill me." he felt more tears escape his eyes just remembering how horrifying it was when he saw most of his friends and family get brainwashed by the evil, demonic lion. he felt himself being hugged by Kiara, and let it all out of himself.

"Sssshhhh. it's ok, Kion." Kiara soothed him some more. "Just let it all out of yourself."

"I am." Kion snivelled. "I am trying to move on and trying to forget about everything that happened that day."

"It's not your fault. And like I said, if you ever have anything to talk about, just come to me."

"Or me, honey." said Nala, who gave him a hug after, being the loving and caring mother she was.

"All of us." Kovu smiled at the cub.

"We'll be there to help you." Simba added. Kion smiled, knowing his lucky he is to have a nice family that cares about him very much. "Besides, you're not the only one with trauma, so you're not alone."

"Right." Kion sighed. "Grandfather Mufasa."

"Will you be ok?" asked Kovu

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I just need to hunt some food out there."

"Sure, me and Kiara can help you with that." said the future king. "OK, buddy?"

"Sure."

The birds were chirping in the Pride Lands, and a flock of geese fly by in a triangular formation. Kion was with his sister and brother-in-law for a nice hunting session.

A couple of other lionesses accompanied them to make sure their prey stays down when they see it, whoever the prey may be.

All of them stick together and looked around for anything to eat. It took about ten minutes, but they finally found small zebra that got lost from his herd, ripe for the picking.

Quiet and in a stealthy fashion, the lions hid in the grass and slowly walked up to the small stallion. It was silent, except for the gentle wind blowing and the faint sound of birds chirping. The zebra was grazing and munching on the green grass, minding his own business when Kiara and two other lionesses pounced on the zebra to finish the job.

Just a bite to the neck from Kovu was more than enough to kill it and make it a decent breakfast for the lions to eat from.

The meat was quite yummy and delicate, and the fat just melts right into it. So thick, and so juicy.

Kion himself was engulfing himself in the nice meat. "Yummy. so yummy." he said after swallowing down a few bites.

"I know." said Vitani. "Zebras have one of the best meats on them."

"So Kion, how do you feel?" asked Kiara

"I feel... better." said the cub with a smile, making his big sister smile back at him. She loved to hear those words.

"Good."

Over the course of give minutes, there was nothing left of the zebra, except for his bones, and the remaining dead skin would be left for the vultures when they come swarming over the carcass.

Yes, this was a very nice breakfast for Kion and his family to eat this morning. "Yum." Kion remarked

"You said it, buddy." Kovu patted the cubs' back gently three times in a playful matter. "Nothing like hunting for a good breakfast, eh Kion?"

"Yep. I hear you, Kovu." said Kion. "I wonder what Chris and his family are doing right now?"

"Probably having breakfast of their own." Kiara speculated.

"What do humans eat for breakfast?" Kion couldn't help but ask.

"Good question." said Vitani. "But I don't think they can hunt like us. They have no claws, abd their teeth aren't sharp enough. They're not fast enough to even catch a mouse or a rabbit on their two legs."

"Maybe they have those tools they mentioned to help them hunt, like Joel's rifle." said Kion.

"I'm sure they have their ways." Kiara speculated. "They are the closest relative to chimps after all and they are intelligent."

"True."

Kion, Kiara, and Kovu went over to the campsite where the humans were resting and they smelled something burning like something cooking in the distance.

As they got closer to the camp, they heard something sizzling, like something out in the sun for too long that it was starting to fry into a crisp. There were the humans, having breakfast in some kind of pot. Something did smell good to the lions' nose.

Chris saw Kion and he smiled to see his lion friend. "Hi Kion!" he called out

"Good morning, Chris." Kion said back to him with a smile. "What are you eating?"

"Hmmm, something smells good." Kovu remarked.

"That would be our eggs." said Persephone. The three lions couldn't help butook at the cooking pot over the fire. There were some three eggs boiling and five strips of bacon next to it.

"Ooh, what kind of meat is that?" asked Kiara

"Bacon." said Tara

"They are meat strips that come from pigs and a breakfast humans like us eat for breakfast."

"We also have eggs." Joel added. "You know, we people cook eggs in many fashions. Poached, yoked, hard-boiled, scrambled, and sometimes for fun, smiley-faced."

"But we mostly just eat thr egg whites because they're healthier for us, not the yokes." said Persephone.

"So how's your morning?" asked Chris.

"Rough." said Kion. "I had a very scary dream about Inuwa."

"That evil lion you killed?" asked Chris

"Uh-huh. But I'm fine now. I just had a small zebra for breakfast." Kion noted before letting out a small burp.
