Kion had a little taste of bacon from the stove, although he decided to wait until it would cool down since Joel got it out of the stove, and he didn't want to burn Kion's taste buds. So the cub waited for a few minutes to have a bite of the human savory. He felt like he shouldn't eat it, but it is a type of meat as the humans have stated, and lions only eat meat after all. At last, whent he temperature was just right, Kion took a bit of the bacon strip, and it tasted so good. "Hmmm." Kion said, obviously liking the taste before swallowing it down. "So this comes from pigs?"

"Yep, and there is a bird that makes good bacon called a turkey." Joel said. "But the pig's flavor is so much better." then he took a bite of his own bacon strip. "So how's your guys' morning so far?"

The lion cub made a small frown and looked away. "A very rough morning." Kion admitted.

"What happened?" asked Chris.

"I had a nightmare about Inuwa." Kion explained. Just thinking of that deceased demon lion made the cub sick to his stomach, almost feeling like throwing up. "He returned and turn everyone in my family into his evil slaves again."

"Ooh." Tara got an uneasy feeling in her. "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I'm fine." said Kion. "I know it wasn't real and it was just a dream." he rolled his eyes. "Nothing to worry about."

"Good." said Persephone.

"It's ok if you're still traumatized over what happened." said Kiara.

"I'm not traumatized." Kion sounded a little offensive. Kovu and Kiara just looked at him in a skeptical way, with one eyebrow raised. The cub sighed in defeat, and closed his eyes. "OK, I admit. I'm still not completely over what happened when Inuwa came."

Once again, Kiara and Kovu looked a little guilty about everything that happened while under Inuwa's dark spell. They both really wished that they can just go back in time to fix their mistakes and wished that it never happened.

Alas, they knew it could never be possible to try out. "It wasn't your fault, Kion." said Kovu.

"Yeah, we kinda... shocked you when we were under Inuwa's control, and we're sorry."

"It's not your fault." said Kion. "It's all Inuwa's fault and if anyone's to blame, it's him and him only."

"agreed." said Kovu.

"But I just want to try and move on. And... yeah, I guess I am a little traumatized."

"And that's ok, Kion. It's not something we can one-hundred percent control in ourselves." said Kiara. "Just come talk to us or mom and dad if you have any more problems."

"Or Mufasa and Sarabi." Kovu pointed.

"I know. But I'm just glad you guys didn't kill me when you were under Inuwa's spell." Kion admitted.

"Oh we weren't trying to kill you." said Kovu. "No, we just wanted you to he apart of us."

"Never!" Kion suddenly shouted, making everyone jump in surprise. The cub covered his mouth in disbelief, hardly believing what he did. "Oh. I'm sorry. Did that come out of me?"

Everyone nodded their head a "yes" to him in reply. The leader of the Lion Guard sighed.

"I'm sorry."

"It's ok." said Chris. "You're still scarred for life after that."

"Chris!" Joel scolded.

"No, he's right, Joel." the cub pointed. "I'm still a little, you know."

"Is there anything we can do for you?" asked Persephone.

"No, it's ok."

"Well come on, why don't we talk about something else?" asked Kovu. "How did you guys enjoy the tour of the rainforest yesterday?"

"We loved it." said Tara. "Despite how humid it was. But I have a feeling that my backne is going to act up soon because of all that humidity."

"Backne?" asked Kiara

"It's complicated." the teenage human remarked. "but we humans have more sensitive skin than other animals do. So when humans get as old as me, we start to have... blemishes on our body as we grow up."

"Blemish?" asked Kion

"Yep. But you don't have to worry about that, lions never get that kind of stuff." Tara smirked

"So how is your guys' morning right now?"

"Every thing is going nice." said Joel. "Got our breakfast, yep we're all ready to do more sightseeing in the Pride Lands." he took a sip of coffee in a cup. "Ooh yeah, I need all the caffeine i can get."

"You didn't keep your rifle close to your bed all night, have you dear?" asked Persephone

"No! of course not!" Joel's wife didn't look very convinced and she raised her right eyebrow in a skeptical manner. "Alright alright." he sighed. "I have."

"Dad!" Chris said. "We talked about this."

"I'm sorry, guys. I know that we have been friends around here, but we still have to he prepared for everything around here. And... besides, the gun wasn't cocked all night."

"Dad, you really need a break from that gun" Tara said. "Really, you do. Besides, you have thay machete on you."

"I know."

"So Kion, you wanna play?" Chris smiled l

"Maybe later. But first, me and my friends have to go out patrolling the Pride Lands in case more trouble comes. if there isn't any trouble for a few hours, we can play then, ok?"

"Sure. I understand. You and your friends are heroes out here."

"But first," said Kiara. "You probably need a drink of water to help you wake up."

"Good point." the cub yawned again. "Yeah a good drink of water should do the trick. Just still a little early in the morning."

"Funny thin, Chris was the first one to wake up today." said Joel.
