Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto; it is owned by Masashi Kishimoto. Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire is owned by George R.R Martin. I own nothing. I am just a humble fan.

Author's Note: Hello everyone, here we are with the next chapter. Please read and review generously. I hope you all enjoy it. I thank you all for reviewing, for following the story, and for keeping the story as one of your favorites. I hope to keep churning out quality content and creating a worthy journey for you to follow.

I am reading all your reviews and you are giving great feedback. I hope you to continue to do so. I do not wish to spoil everything, but things are about to heat up soon enough. Naruto will make an impact on House Targaryen, but also Westeros and perhaps even Essos. Who knows, we may even see him visit the Shadow Lands.

And there will be more codex entries. Perhaps not just about someone from House Targaryen chronicling Naruto's journey, but even entries on Westeros and perhaps Naruto even writing his own entries about things as well. Do offer your ideas as to what kind of codex entries you like to see.

I will change the part about House Baratheon in the first chapter. That was an oversight on my part. Without further ado, let us begin.

Chapter Three- I am the Answer to all that is evil

The walk to the ruined city of Valyria was a slow one. Naruto had taken in the picture of death that had greeted him as the dragon that refused to leave his side, slithered about near him. The rest of the dragons were in the air, quietly circling above him, following his slow walk. Naruto shook his head. He never thought in a million dreams that he would have dragons flying and walking beside him. He honestly shouldn't have been surprised. He had a titanic fox sealed within him at birth after all that could flatten mountains and cause natural disasters.

The grass was charred, the ground was black and the sky was cloudy as the stench of death could still be felt. The air felt polluted and grim and even Naruto wondered if life could grow here once more. Anything was possible, but it would take decades or even centuries before such a feat could be made possible. Forget brining back people, the land would need to be viable to sustain life.

Naruto surmised that great lakes and greenery once made up this vast place. Now, it was the picture perfect destination for death.

Naruto saw many dead bodies in his walk to the city. Men, women, children, they all had met their end in brutal ways. He did wish he could save them, but the war back home taught him much. It taught him that he could not save everyone, the only thing he could do was try his best and endure.

The walk was long but they all had found their way to the city that was once the Crown Jewel of the Valyrian Freehold. Naruto was impressed at the architecture and the large buildings that had managed to endure the great cataclysm. He saw large towers with glass orbs and triangular shaped buildings with what looked like red eyes peering out into the world.

He made his way inside a very large tower that he hoped would give him answers as to how he got here; or clothes. Yes, he needed clothes. These assholes had imprisoned him somehow and stole his favorite orange jumpsuit. There would be hell to pay indeed. Not to mention the fact that he ended up in a world where Ramen was not an option.

The inside of the tower was just as grand as the outside. There were numerous rooms and stairs leading to other grand rooms. It looked somewhat ornate. Naruto walked slowly as he kept his guard up. The fallout of the Doom was evidently still being felt by all. Naruto could feel the air saturated with chaotic, violent power. He could even feel it having an effect on his own chakra. Whether this would be good thing or a bad thing, he had no idea.

He found a room in what housed quite an expansive library, a treasure trove of information. While the majority of information looked charred and crispy, he found quite a bit of reading material that was still intact. He found clothes that were burned so there was still nothing that he could truly wear. He also found swords, armor, and shields; and all these things had strange markings and special patterns weaved into the blades, shields, and various armor. He knew this from watching Tenten work as a blacksmith.

He had observed a sword. It looked regal and intricate with a unique handle and grip. He felt the blade and it cut him. His wound healed instantaneously and he could feel the strength and power radiating from the blade. The energy it radiated felt different from his chakra, and yet it called out to him. He shook his head as he placed the blade on a nearby table.

He held the shield in his hand and marveled at the craftsmanship and looked at the armor. He decided to test its integrity as he unleashed a powerful punch. A shockwave had reverberated throughout the room that put the dragons on alert, but Naruto gave them a look and told them that it was fine.

Naruto noticed that this armor was something special. It was durable and mighty. It was not invincible, and he was sure he could shatter and break any opponent wearing it, but it was still special armor. It was meant to take hits. There were strange patterns and marking all over the armor. Naruto wondered how such weapons and armor could be constructed. There must have been some sort of special work at play to construct such beautiful things of offense and defense. Naruto would have to crack the code for this later on.

He pulled a book from one of the shelves… and could not read the writing. This book was large and it looked regal. The writing looked weird, yet sophisticated at the same time. It was a writing that looked fit for royalty and it was ancient writing, like it belonged to a unique race of people. He guessed that a special language was spoken here. Yet, once he turned the pages, he could not help but continue to browse. And what he saw filled him with rage and irritation.

Naruto saw pictures of himself, lots of pictures of different positions. He was sure what was written was about him. He was enraged when he saw pictures of what looked like humans and Jugo's Sage Transformation. He saw pictures of all sorts of weird creatures being mated with humans and pictures of creatures that had been mutated and had grown very powerful.

Naruto closed the book and tossed it away. He closed his eyes and controlled his chakra which was now leaking out and making the tower shake and the ground quake and shiver. The dragons were on high alert now, but Naruto looked out the expansive window and gave them a signal that everything was okay. There was something in the air reacting to his chakra. He needed to be cautious. The last thing he truly needed was hurting anyone and drawing attention to himself.

Naruto was now lost in his thoughts. How long was he truly asleep, he wondered. And he also wondered how he ended up in this place at all. His mind, his memories were all hazy. And every time he would try to think about this, something stopped him from remembering. Was it the war, was it the aftermath of the war, or was it something else entirely? And how had they managed to lock him up?

Something happened in this place for sure. Somehow, the ruling people here found his body and experimented on him. They must have used the enchanted steel to take blood and samples of his skin. Naruto surmised they combined it with creatures and it had a negative effect.

The Valyrians had no idea in hell what they were truly dealing with when it came to Uzumaki Naruto. Naruto's blood contained exceptional amounts of life force. His very chakra could be used to create trees itself. Only those with sufficient physiologies and power could handle that kind of life force. Naruto surmised that these creatures and humans went berserk and became even more bestial and destructive and had to be put down. He did not want to guess how much time and effort that must have taken.

Yet, this alone was not the only thing that gave Naruto pause. No, it was this land itself. Naruto did not believe for a second that this could have been a natural occurrence. He reasoned that a sophisticated society with dragons had to have taken precautions for those volcanoes. They had to know that strange and enormous power filled their land and if left unchecked, it would lead to disaster.

Then again, with all the human corpses he saw underground and the chains, Naruto wondered if the universe itself had to make things right. These people were doing things man and woman should never do. They were conducting sick experiments and trying to open doors beyond their understanding and comprehension. Perhaps… that's what ended this great empire. Or, it could have been something else entirely.

In any case, he needed answers. Whatever had ended the empire could possibly still be alive out there. And Naruto was sure that there was something else in this land, something deep underground, something that these people created that was waiting with deep patience, ready to attack. Whatever these people were experimenting with, their results must have led to another type of disaster.

The land was not safe for anyone. He was the exception, however. With his vast abilities and power, he could handle whatever came his way. He would have blown these volcanoes to kingdom came, if he did not believe that something else could happen.

In any case, Naruto decided to leave this place, temporarily of course. He needed to gather information. There was someone out there that could help him, perhaps even guide him. And if there were people trying to fuck with him, well, they did so at their own peril.

Naruto gathered a small of amount of valuables needed for trade. He needed to eat, he was hungry. And he needed to secure some food for these dragons. He was sure that man flesh was a delicacy for them, yet, that might not be a good idea if he needed an audience. He left the beautiful sword, armor, and shield behind as he made his walk out of the tower.

The dragons saw him emerge from the tower below and waited for his next move. The dragon slithering and moving on the ground now appeared next to him, waiting for him to say something. And then he spoke.

"Okay… okay. I am going to find answers. Um… you all stay here. I don't need people getting bright ideas."

The dragons simply roared into the sky and breathed fire into the air as Naruto shook his head. He forgot that he didn't speak the language of dragons. The dragon slithering on the ground simply nudged him to keep going. Naruto simply sighed.

"All right, you can come along. Just, don't eat man flesh, or woman flesh. It does not taste good, okay? And, try to keep up."

Naruto closed his eyes as he lightened the gravity surrounding his body. He began hovering in the air and then shot up straight into the sky, as the dragons looked in awe. The large dragon with the deformed neck and body stood up and roared as Naruto took off into the sky, with the dragon's right behind him.

As Naruto soared through the sky, the dragons did their best to keep up with him. He could understand how the dragons felt. To be able to fly through the air without a care in the world, it was something special to have and behold. As he looked down, he saw what looked like a large city protected by black walls.

From the sky, the city looked opulent and grand. He touched down near the outskirts as many of the dragons hovered in the sky far above the city. The dragon that had chosen Naruto as its new master had decided to follow him wherever he decided to go. Naruto knew this might not be a bad idea, but he needed to make an entrance of his own. After all, he was the most unpredictable man alive in existence.

Naruto had touched down and then leaped high into the air as he landed in a city known as Volantis. It was the eldest of the Free Cities, the so-called First Daughter of the Valyrian Freehold. Needless to say, the city was grand and special and opulent. And the appearance of a naked, muscular man was enough to drive people into silence. Not to mention, a very large dragon.

Naruto simply walked forward, slowly and powerfully as the people of the city stared at him wide-eyed and slack jawed. Here in front of them was a man, an exotic looking man with golden hair and ice-blue eyes and a figure that could make any woman, married or no, swoon.

And the man carried a dragon, a symbol of power. Not that Naruto needed one, as he is power. He continued to walk as man and woman stared at him. Even the soldiers were dumbfounded. They all gave him a wide berth. It was good they did. There was no need to end up as road kill.

The people of the city wondered if he was a child of Valyria. Naruto saw that men had nasty smiles on their faces and women were giving him lustful looks of various degrees. Their eyes were drawn to his body and to his lower half as they licked their lips. Naruto shook his head in disgust as he realized some things never changed.

Naruto took a look around as he observed other people. There were men and woman in red cloaks with markings on their faces; he guessed they were part of some cult. Behind this cult was a path to an extremely massive temple. Naruto shook his head and moved on.

Naruto was irritated by the smell of this city. The heat was disgusting. It was not warm and kind like Konoha; no it was foul and disgusting, like something was in it. And the place smelled like shit, like dead decaying corpses. He saw people were sweating while they were observing his every move. This city may be grand, but it smelled like disgust.

He noticed other people with strange markings on their faces, and to his anger, a market where people were in chains being sold to the highest bidder. The dragon behind Naruto sensed his master's anger and roared at everyone. The people were in shock as they moved back. This dragon was bigger and larger than anything they had seen. Naruto smirked as he moved on, formulating his next move.

Apparently, there was slavery in this world and that angered him. Naruto was disgusted by the fact that human beings played with the lives of others. He understood why the Tailed Beasts only had love for certain humans. Well, he would change that soon enough.

He noticed people in the shadows watching him; copper skinned people with long, black hair in braids, armed with curved weapons and wearing what looked like leather and animal skin. He paid no attention to them, even though they were watching him with interest. He found what looked like a place of rest; an inn of sorts. He looked at the dragon following him and decided to talk to it.

"Okay, listen. You can't come in here. Its not big enough for you. I need some food and a little rest. After that, I will look into getting you some food as well. Don't eat the people here, even if they are shifty and full of ill intentions."

The dragon simply roared as it shot fire into the air. Naruto knew he had no idea what he was saying and he swore the dragon was fucking with him. Well, this ought to be fun.

He walked into the Inn as he saw everyone looking at him with their jaws dropped. He calmly walked to the bar and asked for a meal as he showed the lady a piece of gold from Valyria.

The lady was busy collecting her jaw from the floor and then almost dropped it when she saw the gold that was being given to her. Naruto did not know it, but the gold he gave the woman was priceless. She hurried and gave him what they had; a rich soup made from beets that tasted like honey. Naruto had to admit that the taste was good. He also was able to enjoy bread and cheese and even some other vegetables. It felt so good to savor the taste of food. While this all paled in comparison to Ramen, it had its place.

And once he was finished, he asked for room and board, and the lady simply pointed upstairs. Naruto responded by kissing her cheek, which made her drop to the ground. Naruto shook his head.

"Pathetic."

He found his room and lay down on the bed as he wondered where he was going to get cattle from. He had a hard time believing that cattle could exist here in this shitty city. Well, he would sleep on it and decided to tackle the matter later.

Volantis was a city, perhaps even the city of Slaves. It was a Valyrian colony that was meant to protect the borders of the Freehold. It was the "First Daughter" of Valyria, a place where the dragonlords went to enjoy themselves when needed. It was ruled by the three Triarchs, individuals who could prove unbroken descent from Valyria. These elections were festive and chaotic but ultimately peaceful.

The triarchs were considered so elevated, that their feet did not touch the ground during their year of service. They belonged to one of two political parties- the elephants and the tigers. The elephants were merchants and moneylenders who advocated for trade, while the tigers were aristocrats and warriors who loved conquest.

Volantis was also the key to the slave trade. And here was the biggest problem. Naruto's appearance in the city sent shockwaves through the continent of Essos. Rumors were abounding that the Doom had come for Valyria and the Freehold was destroyed. Yet, the appearance of a man and a dragon in the city was casting doubt towards these rumors.

As for these slavers, they saw an opportunity of their own. These Slavers believed they were the gift of the gods. They felt they could do whatever they wanted. Volantis was the most powerful of the Nine Free Cities. And they had killed dragons and their dragonlords before. They were afraid of nothing, absolutely nothing.

They would kill that slithering dragon in the city, and capture this man. His blonde hair and blue eyes would fetch a high price. And once he was sufficiently broken, he would make a good bed mate for woman or a bodyguard for other powerful men. Hell, he could be whatever they wanted.

A young slaver decided to make a name for himself. He decided to go to the Inn with his hired men to capture this man and make a name for himself. And he would take this dragon and use him for their own needs. If the people of Yi Ti could keep a dragon in their court, this man and his dragon was nothing.

It was so easy to capture him. They put a black bag over his head and dragged his body to an expansive home where the young master would lord his new slave to the older masters and to the Triarchs. It was all so easy. The Slavers thought they were above all.

Little did they understand what they were truly dealing with.

The Young Slaver had invited the other Slavers to his home to show off his new conquest. His hired men had brought Naruto in, who was bound and his head covered in a black cloth. The upstart was smirking while the others felt jealous.

And then, his end had truly come.

Naruto who was awake for the entire thing, had grown bored of the game. He took a deep breath and slammed his head backward. The force of the headbutt had shattered the upstart's nose and disfigured his face. And as quick as the wind, he had slaughtered the guards and removed the cloth from his head.

The Slavers had gulped as they looked into those blue eyes that had now turned gold. There was nothing but death and pain inside of them; death and pain that was promised to them.

Naruto crossed his arms and closed his eyes. The ground had quaked and shook as the skies rumbled with lightning. And then Naruto unleashed a silent scream as raw Natural Energy was unleashed like a bomb.

An immense and devastating explosion had occurred as a column of invisible energy shot up straight into the sky. The power of this explosion had wiped out every slaver inside the home, reducing them into dust as shockwaves filled the city. And when Naruto wiped the dust from his naked body, he looked to see a Triarch along with many soldiers ready to kill him.

And before the soldiers could make a move, they heard a roar. They could see a dragon approach them, deformed with a long neck as he slithered next to his master. The soldiers looked to the sky and saw hundreds of dragons in the sky. And Naruto's dragon roared violently as Naruto shook his head. In the end, he understood one thing. His dragon wanted all the smoke and lived for the chaos and the fight.

One soldier made a brave move to attack Naruto as his dragon descended upon him like thunder, devouring him whole. And before anything else could happen, Naruto flooded the area with an insane amount of killing intent. The elephant carrying the Triarch ran for his life, as the Triarch fell to the ground. His soldiers were clawing themselves and screaming and babbling incoherently, begging for death and mercy and for the visions to stop.

Naruto then quietly approached the Triarch who had pissed and shit himself at Naruto approaching him. Naruto kneeled down to the Triarch's level. The Triarch was in horror as he looked into Naruto's gold eyes; the eyes that held death in them. Naruto placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke politely.

"In this shithole of a city, there must be cattle and sheep. Please bring it to the outskirts of the city. I will wait there for a moment, and I will not ask again. And when I return to this city again, I hope to discuss the flesh trade with you, and how it will end."

And as Naruto went to leave, the Triarch demanded an answer.

"WHO ARE YOU… WHO ARE YOU TO COMMAND ME?!"

And when Naruto looked back and spoke, it sent chills down his spine.

"I am the answer to all that is evil."

And then before the Triarch lost consciousness, he witnessed the dragon walk beside him and the dragons in the air following keenly. He witnessed the man walk on water and then collapse, wondering what was coming for Volantis.

Something had crawled out from the Doom of Valyria. The impact that Uzumaki Naruto would have on the world would be astounding. No one knew what his next destination would be. Perhaps it would be Braavos. Would Braavos prove to be fools like Volantis? Or would they realize clearly that Uzumaki Naruto was not a man to be crossed?

Only time would truly tell.

Codex Targaryen

Taken from the Notes of Daenys the Dreamer from the book Signs and Portents of the Doom

Subject- Uzumaki Naruto

Titles- The Savior, The Protector, The Will of Fire, The Elemental, The Answer to all that is Evil

Description:

Uzumaki Naruto has continued to not only elude my sight, to my immense frustration. I do not know how he does it, only that he is able to and I do not know how and why. Perhaps he toys with me.

Only through the glass candle can I see mere bits and pieces of what he does. A strange power holds back the strength of Dragonstone.

Through the candle, I saw that Naruto had travelled to the city of Valyria and learned of the experiments that were happening. I must confess that even the Targaryens had no knowledge of what was happening beneath the Fourteen Flames. Perhaps our sins caused the Doom itself.

And then, Naruto travelled to Volantis. It seems that Naruto had attracted quite a bit of attention. After all, when does an exotic, naked, muscular man appear in the middle of a shithole?

I pity the foolish slaver who tried to make Naruto his slave. I would like to think he did not suffer during his death, then again, I do not really care how the Slavers died. I detest slavery, unlike my other counterparts. It is good to see that Naruto does as well.

Once again, Naruto unleashed an energy I had never witnessed or seen before. I still do not understand what it is. It is as if nature was at the beck and call of this man. Lightning roared in the sky and the ground quaked as Naruto commanded the elements themselves.

Ad when he left Volantis, I could see the dragons leaving with him as they roared as one. I must confess that I cannot understand him. With such a powerful army, the entire known world could be his. What is his heart's desire? Doe she long for blood and conquest? Or does he desire a family and peace of his own?

And now, I have no idea where he is going. Perhaps, it is Braavos or another of the Free Cities, or perhaps even the Shadow Lands themselves.

One thing is for certain, I Daenys the Dreamer must find and meet this man. My visions are not things to take lightly. I am for certain that this man is tied to the fate of House Targaryen. He is the one who is destined to save my house from utter ruin.

I have lost much in life. I am soon to lose my beloved Gaemon to time itself. If there is one thing I can do for my house, it is to find this man. I will do whatever is needed to protect the future of House Targaryen.

I did not risk it all; risk everything just to see my house turn to utter ruin in my dreams. I will give my everything to see the Targaryens live on.

Chapter End

Well everyone that is the chapter. Please read and review generously. I hope you all enjoy it.

Naruto has learned about what Valyria was doing with his body and he is not happy. And Volantis got a taste of suffering and pain. Where is Naruto to go now? Braavos, or somewhere else? Please do offer your ideas and suggestions for this story. I love feedback.

I am not perfect at the lore, so constructive criticism is much appreciated.

Naruto's dragon is just like Caraxes, he is here for the chaos and the smoke and his master's journey.

Perhaps, we may see Naruto/Daenys in the future. Their child may rule Valyria one day. We may also see Naruto and Visenya as a pairing one day. That fight will be a legendary one. I can imagine Naruto being her perfect mate.

Once again, please do offer your ideas and suggestions. I want to read what you wish to see.

Stay safe and much well wishes to you all. See you in the next update.
