MUSHROOM KINGDOM'S LAST HOPE

DRAGONBALL/SUPER MARIO CROSSOVER

Chapter 3 Searching for the Dragon in the Dry Dry Ruins

**OUTSIDE the KOOPA BROS. FORTRESS**

Ty looked back at the large structure, as Koops, Kooper, Bombette, and Nolren started heading back towards Koopa Village; everyone looked back seeing the young man staring at the fortress.

"Hey Ty; you coming, man?" Kooper asked.

"Just one more thing." Was all Ty said before flying up, while everyone watched.

"Wonder what he is he doing?" Bombette asked.

"Not sure." Koops replied.

"Everyone we better stand back." Nolren motioned the party, to follow him further.

Soon as the bright purple light surrounded Ty's body, the picture was clear what the half-saiyan was going to do.

"Payback time, for all the suffering you caused!" Ty announced, readying his special attack.

"GALICK GUUUUNNNNN!"

Launching the Galick Gun, within contact and a massive explosion and earth shaking power, what once stood as well built castle or fortress; now is reduced to just rubble and rock. Nodding at the site and looking around to see if everyone got back, Ty sunk back down to the hard ground surface.

"Why did you do that?" Bombette wondered why he blew up the fortress.

"So the Bob-ombs can rebuild, or whoever wants to live here." Ty without thinking replied. "No use having a waste of a structure with the, then owners, are no longer around right?" everyone giggled, and nodded at the guy's reasoning.

With the good deed now done, our heroes headed west back towards the small village, minus the squash jobs on Koopa Troopas and Goombas once again. In no time our group arrived in Koopa Village, to everyone's surprise all the villagers just about have cleaned up their home, with help from some newly freed Bob-ombs.

"Wow, amazing." Ty smiled, seeing the team work from the community.

"That is what we are Ty." Kooper said proudly. "We are all family; we look out for each other."

Giving some assists too, Ty pitched in and helped the citizens rebuilt. Thinking back seeing how many times his parents helped other people in need, as a child. Also the thoughts kept creeping back into his mind about the hero that was this Kingdom's savior; Ty still couldn't understand something. Dusk about fell on the dark turned sky, as all the hard work finally was completed.

"Ty would you like to stay overnight? We would sure want to repay and celebrate our freedom from the Koopa Brothers." Koops asked, as Kooper and Koopie nodded in agreement.

"I would, but I need to get back to Toad Town, I want to make sure all the people are ok." Ty was flattered by their generosity.

"Oh ok, well, we want to take you for everything you did for us." Kooper, Koops, and Bombette walked up to their half-saiyan friend and shook hands or gave hugs, in some cases both.

"You all are very welcome. I will do my best to restore peace to this world." Ty promised, getting smiles.

"We appreciate that very much." Nolren bowed as Ty did the same.

"Since Mario died, we didn't know what to do, but the only thing we could do is try to fight for ourselves, and try to survive." Kooper replied.

"Before I go; Kooper, who was this Mario you keep saying about?" Ty asked, curious to whom this guy was.

"Mario was our savior, our hero. He had a unbelievable heart, always willing to help anyone who was in trouble, and he deeply cared for everyone." The red bandana wearing Koopa went into who the plumber's personality. "Most importantly, he deeply cared and loved our princess; we knew it was a matter of time before the two probably would have been together. That's the reason Bowser killed him; jealousy from being rejected and beaten time after time, and after time by him; he couldn't take it anymore. Now he is even more despicable and evil than ever before." Was all Kooper could muster to say, hearing his voice start cracking, talking about a good friend. Reaching up and putting a hand on his shoulder, Kooper looked at Ty.

"Now I get it, thank you Kooper. And hey, Mario would be very proud how you fought." Ty smiled slightly, getting a nod from the blue shelled koopa. "I went through the same thing; I lost some family and mentors to me as well." Ty replied, patting Kooper on his shell and gave him another hug and pat on his shell.

Saying farewell to everyone, Ty powered up and flew off towards the west. Looking at a capsule in his hand and smiled. "Two down five more to go. I hope I can collect them before that murder does." Ty said to himself, flying off at almost top speed.

Compared to walking, flying took so much time out of traveling. Landing in Toad Town, again no one in site, and again, looks like guards have increased, just slightly from when he first got here. Sneaking slowly, and not helping a little "fun" blasting a few Koopatrols, Ty made his way to the pipe.

On the other side, Ty was greeted by the Toad family he saved. Chuckling hearing the children's giggling and other Toads coming by and chatting with him; then Merlon came into the picture.

"Good to see you back, Ty my boy." Merlon greeted.

"You too Merlon sir." Ty bowed in respect.

"Now my boy, you don't have to be so formal." The wizard said.

"My apologizes, but my family raised me to be a gentleman." Ty replied back.

"So I assume the dragon ball was recovered?" Merlon changed the subject getting into more important matters.

Pulling out a small capsule and clicking it before dropping it next to him, as a smoke screen clouded it. The smoke cleared unveiling a big size case, with the two dragon balls inside it.

"I would say yes I did, the Koopa Brothers had it, along with Nolren." Ty explained sensing Merlon tense up. "They didn't do anything to him; he was ok besides being kidnapped."

"Thank the stars, although I have to say, Bowser's Koopa Troop have become more violent and disgusting in their actions." Merlon stated, thankful his son is ok, and earned "yes" replies from the surviving Toad Town citizens.

"I took them out easily, and the castle they built." A loud "wow" came over the crowd, hearing that this guy destroyed one of Bowser's army koopas.

"Fantastic, my boy! Now; onto the next one right?" that got only a nod from Ty.

Clicking the dragon radar, Ty saw nothing, but after enlarging the surrounding area; a small beep and dot revealed the next location.

"Looks like; the next one is to the… southeast of here." Ty read the radar.

"Sounds like; the next dragon ball is at the Dry Dry Outpost in the Gritzy Desert."

"Desert huh?" Ty repeated.

"Yes, my daughter Merlee lives there, also legend has it, the Dry Dry Ruins is somewhere in the deepest part of the Gritzy Desert." Merlon said some facts about the dry land.

"Really and why did you point that out, Merlon?" Ty was confused, as to why the guardian pointed this out to him.

"Because Bowser and his terrors have invaded that ruin before; so if they try to kidnap her, you will know where to go for a search." Merlon answered before looking over everyone. "There is no doubt I fear that Bowser once again has took over the ruins for his own greed."

Ty fists began shaking hearing "Bowser" after what Kooper had told him all the pain and torture this monster has put this Kingdom through. Sensing this Merlon put a hand on the young warrior's shoulder.

"You should get some rest Ty; you have a long journey ahead of you." Ty wanted to disagree with the wizard's request, but everyone looked at him, including the Toad family. Agreed into submission, he looked for a short of comfortable spot and lay down.

Struggling to stay asleep, the half-saiyan got up and looked to the sky from the opening up through the pipe.

"Too much; on your mind, my boy?" Ty jumped slightly, hearing Merlon's voice.

"Nah, just couldn't sleep." He responded.

"You know, I saw the whole fight from the crystal ball." Merlon started, getting Ty's attention. "You are pretty strong, Ty, your father must have trained you well." That sentence gave a small chuckle from the young warrior.

"My uncle and dad were my biggest influences, my dad and mom lost so much. My world had to deal with one threat after another, after another, and after another. All the lives that were lost and the poverty they went through sounded horrible." Ty described his world.

"That sounds like us, only our one savior is gone." Merlon started, until Ty cut him off.

"I hate to ask this Merlon, but has it been more than a year, from what you said?" Merlon shook his head.

"Not really sure at this point, maybe a few years." Ty nodded in understanding. "Why you ask, young lad?" Turning his attention from the pipe, Ty glanced to the wizard.

"Not sure just seems more than that. I… I just don't understand how all the heroes here are gone, and all that's left is the friends of this Mario… and they seem capable of holding their own." Merlon understood what the young half-saiyan was getting at.

"Mario was the only one strong enough to stand up to Bowser, because he has fought him so many times and always found a way to overcome the odds. His friends, I think always knew as long as he was around, they could jump in if needed." Merlon tried his best to explain his opinion.

"I think I get it now." Ty said, Merlon wondered what Ty meant by that.

"Something else, I was curious about is what Princess Peach looks like?" That question, made Merlon look at Ty funny.

"Say that again my boy?" Understanding what he had just said, Ty turned to hide his face, embarrassed.

"N..Nothing; never mind." Ty quickly said.

Taking out and placing his crystal ball between them, Merlon moved his hands around performing his magic, and an image of the princess came up.

In awe, Ty to say he was mind blown is an understatement; Peach is about as tall as he was, with long yellow blond hair, eyes blue as the ocean, a slim body, and a long pink dress with a low top. Now Ty understood why Bowser was after her.

'Wow; she is absolutely gorgeous!' Ty thought staring before a small cough from Merlon snapped him out of it.

"Is that what you expected?" Merlon tried not to laugh.

"I.. I got to get to sleep, thanks for the chat Merlon." Ty got up and walked back to his spot.

Watching the young man walk off, he couldn't help the amusement he saw from Ty's facial expressions.

'I can definitely, even without seeing the princess' physical expression. There is indeed a flame developing.' Merlon thought, knowing he was seeing Peach's expression from his fortune teller's ball, checking up on her.

**NEXT DAY**

Saying goodbye to everyone, Ty powered up and quickly shot out of the pipe, so to not attract any attention from the Koopa Troop soldiers to the citizen's hiding location. Swiftly flying south east, Ty passed what once was a train and headed straight east. While not looking around, Ty could see what grass was once green and beautiful flowers, now just stood craters, destroyed train tracks, and just in plain word devastation.

'This is absolutely terrible; from what Kooper has told me and all other info I gathered, Bowser seems to not want to stop until every single thing in this world is reduced to rubble and death.' His facial expression turned to anger and if it was possible more determination. 'Sounds like Mario defeated this freak time after time; but never pulled the trigger. Well I sure won't hesitate to pull it. This world deserves a second chance at peace and harmony; just like mine.'

** TOAD TOWN / GRITZY DESERT BORDER**

Crossing the plains over to the desert boarder, Ty kept a close eye out for anything or anyone coming at him. Soon, he arrived at a huge mountain area, Mt Rugged. Stopping and dropping down to the ground, all the half-saiyan could see is mountains, dry and hot; as you would normally see in a desert. The only thing that was different, a man made water canal, bending over and getting a few hand full drink of water; he reached into his pocket, pulling and clicking the dragon radar. Right a along the right end of the radar screen, showed the green dot.

"Long way to go, yet." Ty stated, looking ahead.

Taking care of once again, more Koopa Troopas, and also seeing some Monty Moles, our hero continued on his quest; while going deeper into the mountainous terrain, a small yellow block with a question mark caught his attention.

"Hmm wonder what this is?" Ty looked at it.

"Hit it and find out." Ty jumped slightly, hearing a voice, turning around, there is a peach colored faced Goomba, with a yellow ponytail, wearing a goomba version of an archaeologist uniform and a light helmet on its head.

"Pardon?" Ty asked, not sure what this goomba meant by that.

"Go and hit it." The female voiced goomba, said again.

Not wanting to irritate the in his mind enemy, Ty smashed the block and an orange flower popped out of it. Dropping it, the half-saiyan looked at it.

"What is this?" Ty thought out loud.

"That is a flame flower." The female goomba answered.

"Flame flower?"

"Yes, it's a power up, you use powerful fire-based moves, also has a massive power increase."

"Hmm, interesting." Ty put the flower power up in his pocket, and looked over at the female creature. "Thank you for the info, young lady." Ty bowed thanking.

"Um, sure; I guess you aren't from this world I have never seen you before." The goomba was confused as to why this person didn't know what the power-up was.

"No I am not, my name is Ty, I came here from another world." He introduced himself.

"Oh I see, nice to meet you, I'm Goombella, may I ask why did you come here?" Goombella said, and asked.

"I came here to put an end to Bowser's madness." His answer nearly made Goombella laugh.

"You are joking right?" somewhat irritated with her response, as Ty was ready to answer.

"HEEELLLLPPPP!" a loud cry pleaded.

"What the?" Ty sensed where the plea was coming from and took off, flying.

"Hey wait for me!" Goombella tried rushing towards the young man.

Reaching the peak of Mt. Rugged, Ty could see the situation in front of him. A flying koopa with an old school pilot's hat is being assaulted by a big looking vulture-looking bird.

"Time to make you lunch, turtle boy!" the vulture sickening announced, swooping in for the kill; only to meet a kick in the face from the half-saiyan.

"Now your fight is with me, ugly turkey." Ty said, focused.

Hmmm?" the vulture pulled out a piece of paper it had somewhere and glanced at it before putting it away. "You look like the same guy, on King Bowser's most wanted, what is your name?" Ty's demeanor turned from focused to rage hearing "Bowser", while Goombella checked on the flying koopa's condition.

"So, you are part of turtle boy's cronies huh, in that case, I am Ty." The warrior smirked.

"TYYYY! Oh I will be more than thrilled to present your bones to the King." The vulture smirked with confidence.

"Not a chance bird brain!" Powering up, Ty vanished, and reappeared, forearming the large bird in the back of the head.

Recollecting his wits; only for the vulture to be hit with an onslaught of kicks and strikes; before the flying predator vanished, and blew a strong gust of wind at Ty. Following a hard tackle into the young warrior; knocking him for a loop.

"HA HA HA HA! Time to die!" the vulture presented his claws diving towards its foes face.

Goombella closed her eyes, not wanting to watch the end, only to hear a loud; cling. At the last moment, Ty blocked the birds weapon with one of his own; his sword. Seeing the blade brought a shock to the vulture's face.

"Oh did you not expect that?" Ty questioned in a mocking matter, seeing the vulture just tremble. "What's wrong, you only enjoy a fight when you have the upper hand; when you were bullying that koopa over there!"

"AHHHH CURSE YOU!" the bird yelled back, backing away, before launching hard feathers at the young warrior, who easily deflected them with the sword.

"You Bowser cronies are all the same, you're nothing!" Ty shouted vanishing.

"AHHHH!" the vulture scream, getting sliced by the sword, much to the surprise of the bird and the two on the ground.

"Here is a message to your boss!" Ty unleashed, charging and firing a bright blue energy blast, Buster Cannon, creating an explosion, destroying the vulture, Buzzar. Burnt feathers fell like rain, after the aftermath of the attack.

"W..Wow" was all the female goomba and parakoopa could say, as Ty landed back on the ground, glancing over at the two.

"Hey you ok buddy?" Ty asked the parakoopa, who didn't hear him at first.

"Huh, oh, I'm hurting a little bit; but I'll be fine. Thanks for the help…" the koopa thanked, not thinking of his name.

"Ty; not a problem, just a friendly Bowser crony exterminator." Ty replied, getting chuckles from the last part.

"Nice to meet you Ty, the name is Parakarry, I am a postman." Parakarry introduced himself.

"Hey Ty?" both Ty and Parakarry looked over at Goombella. "I believe what you said earlier; with that skill you can beat that jerk Bowser." Ty blushed with a smile.

"Really, you are going after Bowser? I hope you do, no one else has been able to since Mario died." Parakarry said, in a sad tone.

The way Parakarry talked, Ty could sense he was another one of Mario's friends. Reaching over and putting his arm on post-koopa's shoulder. "I'll make sure Bowser pays for what he did to him." Ty vowed, getting a slight smile from Parakarry.

"So what are you two doing in the desert?" Ty randomly asked, trying to break the ice.

"I was on my way to deliver letters to Dry Dry Outpost, before I got attacked." Parakarry stated.

"And I'm searching for the great archaeologist Kolorado Koopa, I'm assisting him in search for the Dry Dry Ruins." Goombella replied.

"Huh, we are all pretty much going the same direction." Ty commented on their paths. "I'm heading towards Dry Dry Outpost too, how about you two join me?" both goomba and koopa happily accepted the half-saiyan's offer, plus if any lowlife Koopa Troop member comes they knew they would be in safe hands.

Getting off the Mt. Rugged path, our three heroes stepped into a dry wasteland of sand, sand, and rock, and sand. A few cactus-like monsters and thieves tried giving them trouble but were handled by Ty, with some help from the headbonk attack from Goombella and Parakarry's Sky Shot. As the sun sank a little lower, the group noticed a tent, set up between two big boulders, with three or four koopas wear archaeologist clothing.

"Goombella, young lady, glad to see you." A voice said, as the three saw a mustached koopa.

"Kolorado, good to see you too, professor. Any luck finding the ruins?" she asked with enthusiasm, only for it to go down as Kolorado shook his head.

"No afraid not yet; but we are getting closer, I can feel it!" Kolorado replied, with determination.

'He can also feel his brain melting from this heat.' Ty thought to himself hearing this adventurous turtle.

"He is like this all the time." Parakarry softly said to Ty. "His wife always gives him a hard time going on adventures all the time."

'Ha ha, sounds like my grandma telling me stories about grandpa always training.' Ty chuckled at the thought.

After chatting and explaining their destination, the three left Kolorado's base and continued on through the hot desert. Checking his dragon radar again, it seems the dragon ball moved from it originally was at the start.

'Darn it, Bowser's goons must have Merlon's daughter, well might as well keep going to Dry Dry Outpost and see what info I can gather.' Ty now annoyed, thinking he is a step ahead, however one step back from Bowser.

Upon reaching the desert village of Dry Dry Outpost, Ty took in the surroundings, everyone carrying on their daily day to day life; it sure is a whole different environment than Toad Town. Checking everything out the town, the trio suddenly saw something in an alley way. Walking in Ty saw two mice almost knocked out from clearly an assault.

"Parakarry, Goombella, come here quick!" Ty shouted, trying to treat the locals for their injuries.

"What happened Ty!" Parakarry shouted, as he and Goombella gasped seeing the site.

"This is clearly, Bowser's handy work." Ty noticed the trend.

"You are correct." Everyone turned to see another mouse, dressed in middle astern-style clothing, limping as well.

Wasting no time, Ty and the others helped the mouse out as best they could.

"Thank you kind folks." The mouse thanked.

"You're welcome, can we ask what happened?" Goombella asked; concerned over what happened.

"Day was like any other, next thing we know, a flying witch swooped in and kidnapped our fortune teller." The green mouse explained the situation, only to lead the three more confused.

"Why would this witch take your fortune teller? That doesn't make sense." Goombella thought about it for a moment.

"Surely there must have been a point…" was all Parakarry could get out, until Ty interrupted.

"Did your fortune teller happen to have a crystal ball with stars on it?" Ty asked, looking at the green Nomadimouse.

"Yes, do you seek to find her?" the green mouse said, looking at Ty.

"Yes I do, she's in danger, and Bowser is after her family for their Crystal Star Dragon balls." Ty explained.

"I see, and why is Bowser after these balls?" the mouse asked again.

"He wants to prevent use from using the dragon balls to revive the Star Spirits." Everyone looked at him, surprised. "So we need to hurry and find these creeps, before they do something to her."

"Indeed this situation sounds dire." The mouse replied, reaching in, and pulls out a round pink and white stone.

"Take this, they must be heading towards the Dry Dry Ruins; use this Pulse Stone and you will find it." Ty bowed in respect.

"Thank you sir, I will avenge your people." Ty promised.

"No thanks are necessary, just get rid of Bowser's fools!" the mouse replied.

Finished aiding the injured civilians, Ty, Goombella and Parakarry left the outpost, returning to the hot desert, as Ty pulled the Pulse Stone out going west, as the stone started beeping slowly. Going a little farther west, the beeping weakened.

"Hmm?" Ty pointed in all directions, nothing.

"Darn it!" hearing the frustration, Goombella came closer, looking at the Pulse Stone.

"Try pointing that way?" she offered, motioning the north direction.

The female goomba's advice worked, the beeping returned, and got stronger as they continued north. While Ty kept his focus on the stone, Parakarry and Goombella took care of any Pokeys and Bandits they saw. Ty's focused got interrupted seeing three bandits surrounding him, as one sneaked and took the Pulse Stone.

"Why you!?" trying to get away, the warrior surprised them, appearing in front of them, scaring the thieves in the process.

"I don't have time to deal with little men." The irritated young man replied, getting looks from the bandits, being called "little".

Using the numbers advantage, or so they thought, however the result ended with the three being obliterated from energy blasts. Regaining the stone, Ty pointed north hoping they would be on the right track.

"Remind me never get on Ty's bad side." Parakarry said to Goombella, watching the half-saiyan destroy his opponents quickly.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Goombella answered.

"Found it guys." Ty announced, as the beeping from the stone became more frequent.

"Getting closer." The female goomba replied; as they continued north.

Soon the noise became non-stop, the three approached as far north as you can go. Looking around, Ty didn't see the ruins, only a big rugged rock. Upon looking at it closer, Goombella realized what it was.

"Ty, place the stone in this slot." She suggested, pointing out a shaped groove, almost like a stone shape on top of the rock.

Placing the stone in the slot, suddenly the rock spun into the ground, as the sky darkened and a massive swirling fog appeared. Not wanting to stand in the path, Ty grabbed Goombella, as him and Parakarry flew back a few yards, while an ancient stone temple came up from underground causing a massive surface shaking earthquake feel.

"Awwahhh, wow!" Ty watched, as the temple finally showed itself.

"Wow; the Dry Dry Ruins!" Goombella exclaimed excited.

A loud thud could be heard, as the stairs to the entrance folded up to the entryway. All three looked at one another ready to go inside. The excitement was too much for the female goomba, she ran in full speed wanting to see what was inside. Embarrassed, Ty and Parakarry followed after words. Once inside a loud spooky voice threated.

"Bleeag, Blooooaaaagh! I'm the huge scary Tutankoopa! Remorseless king of the desert! Who dares set foot in this, my palace of the sands? Speak and be known! Begone from this place! NOW! Or disaster will be fall you!"

"Ha ha ha, yeah sure." Ty laughed at the warning, though his two partners were spooked by the creepy voice.

"As long as I'm here guys, you will be alright, and no coward ghost or weird-o is going to scare me." Slight smiles broke on the goomba and para-troopa's faces.

Venturing into the stone palace, they passed what looked like mummy cases, but light green-blue looking pokey's popped out only to receive ki blasts from the half-saiyan. Goombella and Parakarry kept their eyes open for enemies, as they went further into the tomb, once again.

"Fool! You have, ignored my warning, haven't you? You fool! You will fall to my legions and become a mummy of the sands!"

Rolling his eyes, Ty along with the others went forward, Goombella and Parakarry fought off a bunch of Buzzy Beetles, trying to drop and attack our trio. Watching them fight brought a smile to Ty's face. Blasting a crack in the wall, Goombella grabbed a key.

"Hmm, wonder where this goes to?" she asked to herself.

"Must be; Bowser's cowards." Ty replied. "Tombs don't have keys like that."

None the less, our three heroes continued going down, then Ty spotted something in one of the rooms; up on top of a display; stood a small, green triangle shaped-stone.

"That looks pretty interesting." Goombella wondered, starting to go towards it, until Ty stopped her.

"Stop, Goombella." Ty put a hand on her head.

"Hey, what are doing Ty?" she asked irritated why he stopped her.

"Saving you, something feels wrong." Ty explained sensing something, but barely.

"Really?" Ty nodded at her question.

"Parakarry, stay with her."

"Right" the flying koopa said flying and staying with the goomba.

Leaping up and getting close to the stone; Ty picked it up and as he thought; booby-trap. A round stone monster with big eyes, and large shark-like teeth, lunged at him, only to be prepared with his sword. Launching a ki blast, the chain chop dodged the attack and a second chain chomp appeared.

"What the…. Rrrhaaa!" Ty fired and destroyed the stoned creature, but only to keep fending off the aggressive one.

While Ty kept the Stoned Chain-Chomp at bay, out of nowhere Parakarry launched his Air Shot attack, using his body as a battering ram knocking the chomp off his balance, and Ty finished it off with another ki blast.

"Thanks Parakarry." Ty gave thumbs up.

"No problem bud, you helped me and I help you." Parakarry gave thumbs up back.

"That witch must be up to this." Ty thought thinking who would be sending these monsters out.

"Yeah must have, but it looks like you got the stone key." Goombella said, as Ty pulled it out and showed it to her.

"Hmm, must unlock something? Well the only way to know is to keep looking." She replied.

Our three heroes continued their journey going further down the ruins. Going down to the next floor, Ty sensed something close by. Looking behind, he saw nothing behind his partners.

"What's up Ty?" Parakarry asked, seeing the intense look on Ty's face.

"I get the feeling we are not alone." Ty, replied, as everyone jumped, hearing evil laughing straight ahead.

"Bwa heh heh heh! You would be correct you little runt!" Looking ahead, there was Kamek with three Pokey Mummies behind him.

"You!" Ty stared at the male witch.

"So we finally meet, fool! I'll have to say you irritate my King ruining his plans." The half-saiyan nearly growled hearing his "King".

"You are the one who kidnapped the fortune teller, or should I say this desert's guardian." Ty remarked, getting a smirk back.

"And so if I was, what is a pathetic warrior like you going to do about?" Kamek taunted, making Ty madder.

"I will destroy you, that's what, you piece of worthless trash!" Ty growled.

"Hmph, boy I would go back to the world you came from. Even if you beat the ruler in here, you are no match for King Bowser, and we will make you watch the wedding of our King and the Princess." Kamek's remarks only enraged Ty more, as energy volts sparked.

"Mummies, get them!" the pale green pokeies came after the three, as Goombella and Parakarry were ready for battle. However Ty had other plans, extending his arms out, forming a bright yellow flash.

"What the…?" Kamek puzzled, but started feeling uneasy, while the Pokey Mummies got closer.

"Feel my wrath, FINNALLLL FLAAAASSSSHHHH!" firing the special attack, a massive explosion erupted inside, as the area clouded in smoke from the impact of the blast.

All the mummy-like Pokies are gone, but somehow Kamek managed to vanish quick enough not to get caught up in the blast.

"You tell your boss, I will be coming for him sooner or later." Ty said in determination.

Amazed and frightened by the power, Goombella and Parakarry regained themselves, and the three continued on, going down deeper, the warning voices were silent, and the enemies were quickly disposed of from the team work from our three good creatures. Entering another chamber, this one they found five chomp craved statues, with slots on the bottoms of each statue.

"Oh wow, looks like a puzzle, I wonder what goes in these slots?" she looked at the statues.

"Maybe this triangle stone is one of the pieces." Ty suggested.

"I think maybe you're right Ty."

"Hey you two!" Parakarry shouted out, pointing at a locked door. "Looks like that Kamek locked this door." He pointed out the lock on the door.

Smirking, Ty pulled the key they found and gave it to Goombella, who gladly accepted the offer. Unlocking the lock, the door pulled up open, and in the chambers, looked like more chain chomp statues; only a massive pile of sand is covering up to what the heads of the chomps. Seeing a pink trip switch, Ty leaped forward, hitting the switch, as the sand sank down a hole underneath. Once the sand was gone, the statues showed a key clue to the mystery.

"Looks like, we have to find two more stone keys." Goombella said, studying the discovery.

"What are we missing?" Ty asked, leaping back to his friends.

"We have the triangle stone, all we need is the diamond and lunar stones." She answered.

"Alright then, let's go hunting for keys." Ty announced, getting chuckles from the other two.

Walking down a level in the temple, they reached the room with the Lunar Stone, but as Goombella tried to go up for the key; three Stone Chomps appeared. The fear-stricken Goomba ran back, while Ty and Parakarry started fighting them. Ty unleashed a fury of energy blasts, and Parakarry finished them with his Air Shot strike. Finished with their foes, the letter-carrier koopa, retrieved the Lunar Stone. For safe keeping, Ty put it in an empty capsule he had.

"Hey Ty, what was that?" Goombella asked curious.

"Oh, these, these are capsules. Back on my world, my grandmother's company developed these things for easy storage. You basically can fit a house or anything you want in here." Ty said, getting the goomba's attention.

"Really, that is so cool." Goombella replied.

"Yeah, my grandma, is a pretty smart woman." Ty smiled remembering his only grandparent.

Going further down the ancient palace, soon enough, the one remaining item they were missing, they found it. Leaping up, Ty grabbed the Diamond Stone waiting for the Stone Chomp.

"TY, ABOVE YOU!" Goombella screamed out.

Looking up, Ty vanished, as the Stone Chomps teeth got stuck in the brick.

"Oh hell no, freak, HAAAAAA!" Ty powered up, and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, eliminating the ancient predator.

Catching their breaths after a scary moment, our three retraced their steps, getting back to the chambers. Setting the correct stones in the slots, the eyes of the chomps lit up, while the place shook, as a secret path of stairs went below them. Walking down the stairs, our heroes again heard another spooky warning.

"This is your final warning! Enough of this foolishness! Leave at once!"

"Try me fool!" Ty shouted at the warning, ready for a fight.

Walking in, the room is pitched black, as Ty tried to sense where the fortune teller could be.

"Bleah heh heh heh…" a farrow's hat suddenly appeared, floating all the way to a flat platform.

All at once, what looked like puzzle pieces, floated around, as everything came together, forming a pharaoh koopa, as the warrior took his fighting stance.

"You! You ignored all those very scary warning!" the koopa started in a scary voice, his voice made Goombella and Parakarry a bit scared.

"Psss, you couldn't scare a puzzle to pieces worm!" Ty remarked, making the Egyptian Koopa irritated.

"You disrespectful punk! You shouldn't mess with Tutankoopa, a faithful follower of King…" Tutankoopa was sent into the wall by a right hand from the black-haired warrior.

"Oh shut up, and start fighting. I don't have time to listen to you go on about your coward boss." Ty remarked again, wanting to kick the crap out of this enemy.

"Oh we will fight, but I'm not fighting alone." Tutankoopa announced, using his magic to open a barred gate under him.

"CHOMP CHOMPS! Time to play!" Two good-sized Chain Chomps came out, as the monsters stared at our three heroes.

The black circular beasts, lounged at the goomba and parakoopa, while Ty went after his main target, Tutankoopa. To his surprise this pharaoh koopa vanished and dodged, Ty's attacks, getting the warrior irritated. The exchange of energy and magic blasts flared up, as they dodged and bounced them away. Firing a magic blasts in a chain-chomp shape, Ty took the hit, however braced himself, not suffering much damage.

Menwhile, Goombella and Parakarry were having a difficult time, fighting the pharaoh's pets; Goombella's heabonks weren't doing anything, and Parakarry's Air Shots are only doing few damage. Evading an attempted attack, Goombella grabbed the chain, not allowing the chomp to lounge at them.

"Parakarry, now!" she yelled out.

Powering up Parakarry launched and connected the Air Shot, knocking the Chain Chomp down. The victory was short lived, as the last Chain Chomp lounged at them.

Exchanging blasts, Tutankoopa could sense his pets down, calling for another one. Only this time, Ty destroyed that one before it could become a problem.

"No pets allowed, besides I hate hearing these ugly teeth chomping all the time." Ty taunted the pharaoh's Chain-Chomps.

"Grrrr you!" shooting a magic shot, Tutankoopa, quickly and suddenly, got hit with his blast, falling to the ground.

Now is his chance, Ty powered up, began giving a full blown assault on this Egyptian koopa. Full speed, the warrior kicked him right in the stomach, sending screams of pain inside the temple.

"GAAAAHHHHHHHHAAAA!" the loud cry echoed, before Ty shut him up with a straight up uppercut, sending him in the air.

Pulling his arm back, charging up, Ty's final blow was ready, as the light turned light green.

"This ends now! Final Shine ATTTTTTAAAAAACCCCKKKK!"

Blasting his Final Shine, Tutankoopa, tried to shield with his magic. The barrier is doing its job; but only for a moment, the force of the power shattered and the blast engulfed the Egyptian koopa, causing a loud explosion and dust. At the same time Parakarry struck the other chain chomp with another Air Shot attack, fiercely, but quickly ending the battle.

Huffing and puffing for a moment, Ty tried regaining his energy and breath, as the gate opened. Slowly walking in, Ty saw the fortune teller, but more so, the guardian of the dragon balls; tied up. Running over, Ty and the others helped out getting her free.

"Thank you very much, sweetheart." The female Shaman thanked, being untied.

"You are welcome. I was hoping to come and chat with you, minus us dealing with this mess." Ty replied.

"I agree but I am ok, and you all are ok." She replied, seeing Goombella and Parakarry.

"So I suppose you are looking for this Ty?" she pulled out the three-star Crystal Dragon Ball.

"Yes I am." Ty smiled knowing the dragon ball is safe.

"Wow, that's so beautiful!" Goombella cooed overseeing the crystal ball.

"Indeed it is." Ty replied.

"So this is what you are after, Ty"

"Yes, these balls hold incredible power. Once all seven Crystal Dragon Balls are collected, you can summon the eternal dragon." Ty smiled, as Parakarry and Goombella listened to what Ty was explaining.
