Author's note: finally, I can write again!
Thank you for your patience :)
Health problems pilled up these past months, literally preventing me to type as much as I usually do… I've managed to write down on paper what crossed my mind: I'm so happy to share this chapter with you!
Anyways, here is the seventeenth issue of this story. I feel like I'm nearing the end, with some time jumps involved.
I wonder if I bit more than I could chew with all I'm involved with since September… Anyway, I'm glad to see this through the end, even if it is at a slow pace
The sound of muffled laughter echoed along a deep singing voice reaching painfully a high-pitched tune, as an angry sneer came from behind the drums.
"Oï, stop trying to sing if you just plan to butcher the song!"
Eijirou shrugged dismissively, as he went on with the last chorus, striking a victory pose as the song ended.
Kaminari tapped on his phone's screen, saving the video in his special folder.
"I didn't think I would live long enough to see this…. Ei and Kacchan playing a Babymetal song on Rock band…", he chuckled softly as he high-fived Sero, who seemed to have the same idea as him by immortalizing this moment.
"We'll be able to tease them for a long time… Imagine showing this video to their children and grand-children… or at their marriage…."
Denki's grin grew wider as he side-hugged the only person who could think of this.
"You're a genius, Kyo… Blackmail material for decades to come!"
"I want a percentage on everything you'll get out of your bribes."
"30/70, take it or leave it," said Sero, "this idiot will give you his share anyway"
The blonde boy playfully pouted as Kyoka extended her hand to make the deal.
"Okay, fair enough," she answered, "we're winning anyway, since we have two brains to scheme instead of a lonely one."
Denki raised an eyebrow at her calm but harsh sniping, and patted the back of a frozen Sero. "I guess you got her angry about something, Sero, and you should know better than upset the birthday girl."
"Hey, I was only joking, don't take it personally," Kyoka said apologetically, "I know I tend to go overboard with the sarcasm."
Sero waved her concern away with a smile before heading back to Mina who was taking Bakugou's place behind the drums. "Don't fret, I can go a little too far sometimes too. Anyway, I'm up for any future blackmail partnership!"
"You sure there's no another lingering feeling?"
She sighed and headed to the buffet they had set up near against one of the wall of the common room, looking for some refreshment and a way to clear her head.
Even if she told Sero that she was joking, she knew that she had lost her temper too, and she knew exactly what triggered this. After helping herself with a glass of lemonade, she sat down on the terrace, Denki in tow. She took a sip and muttered to herself. "I don't like anyone other than me saying that you're an idiot."
Denki leaned in to kiss her forehead. "That was way too cute, getting angry on my behalf…"
Kyoka's cheeks turned crimson as she averted her face from him, a light pout on her lips.
"I hate it when you do that..."
Denki's light laugh ringed in her ear as he engulfed her in a hug, careful of not spilling her drink.
"Let me enjoy a flustered Kyoka once in a while", he whispered in a low voice, making her skin turn a tone darker. She groaned in frustration.
"That's not a way to treat the birthday girl..."
His grin grew wider as he squeezed her free hand.
"I promise to make it up to you later", he said with a playful wink, walking back toward the hollering crowd formed by their classmates.
Kyoka drank the remaining of her lemonade, getting her composure slowly back with each gulp. She got up and began her trip back to the table, mumbling to herself.
"That sneaky idiot..."
A light chuckle startled the dark-haired girl.
"It's rare to see you being bullied, Kyoka."
Momo smiled and reached for the glass she had poured for herself.
"Don't tell me that you're ganging up against me too, Yaomomo!"
"I wouldn't dare to, my dear friend!"
Kyoka rolled her eyes and put down her own glass. "But I must admit that I like seeing you flustered, it's a nice change of pace."
Kyoka stuck her tongue out childishly, as Momo laughed out loud.
"Don't get me started, Momo, I have plenty of blackmail material ready to use..."
The long-haired teen took a fake frightened expression and started to shiver exaggeratedly.
"I have awaken the dark queen, please save me!"
"Grovel in fear, for I'll reign without mercy on this pitiful world!", Kyoka shouted while extending dramatically her hand, flipping an invisible cape.
"...…"
Shoto stood silently, a quizzical eyebrow raised as he watched the scene unfolding in front of him, Momo bowing in fear and hardly holding back her laughter in front of a madly grinning Kyoka.
He silently showed the buffet, hoping to convey his intention to the self-proclaimed ruler of the world. The girl nodded, winking at him. This gesture made him raise his eyebrow higher, his shoulders slightly lumbering in defeat as he began to made his way.
"Oh, but there he is, my archenemy, ready to defend the innocent maiden!"
His mismatched eyes widened slightly. So that was what that grin was about...
He could ignore her antics and fetch his drink. Really, that was the rational and logical thing to do. But the light hint of red and widened eyes adorning Momo's face when she turned to him somehow made his rationality go away, leaving only an urge to keep seeing her cheeks rosy with embarrassment.
"Begone, evil queen. I will not let this world fall into your grasp", he stated in a monotonous voice, moving his arm like he was brandishing a sword.
"Eh?"
Momo couldn't help but let out her surprise, her face reddening even more as Todoroki got between her and Kyoka, shielding her from the supposed harm.
As the knight and evil queen kept on exchanging verbal jabs, Momo's eyes were darting back and forth, glaring at Kyoka and silently pleading Shoto to not go with the flow, her expression jumping from ice-cold toward her so-called best friend who pulled this prank to scorching each time her eyes met Shoto's face.
Feeling her gaze on his back, Shoto turned his head toward her slightly with a slight playful smile on his lips.
"Fear not, fair lady, for I will keep you from harm's way."
"Huh… He… Thank… Thank you, I guess… brave... knight…."
The smile turned into a smirk, as he turned his head back in front of him, Kyoka winking at him again while barely holding her laugh.
"You are underestimating me, mere mortal… Behold the power of darkness!", Kyoka exclaimed while doing flashy hand gesture.
Momo snickered at the ridiculous scene, regaining her composure slowly. It was time for her to stop this, she thought, as she began to walk past Shoto…
Suddenly, she felt her hand engulfed in a rougher one, under the teasing gaze of Kyoka.
"I won't be able to withstand this attack, my lady… We need to flee…", Todoroki whispered in a very low voice.
Momo gasped, her mind registering too much things at the same time. The warmth of their joined hands, the embarrassment from this whole joke, the smile he flashed her earlier, the smug smile on Kyoka's face who was obviously planning something…
And a second later, she was dragged outside, under Kyoka's heartfelt laugh, Shoto running in the garden without looking back.
"The evil queen feels benevolent today… It is up to you to seize your chance, fair lady!"
Shoto's mind was running as much as his legs. He knew why he went along with Kyoka, but he didn't plan to go this far. He acted on an impulse, but right now he didn't know what to say to the fair lady he dragged along. Was he supposed to tell her how her blush made his mind blank? How the contrast between her usual elegant demeanor and her laid-back and playful attitude was endearing? How he just thought about this as the perfect excuse laid on a platter by Kyoka to spend time with her, because he couldn't ask for it by himself?
He knew he had to stop running, so he slowed down and stopped under the tree, the shade welcoming them.
Momo's mind began to run again, as she huffed lowly, catching her breath. "What now?", she kept thinking, her hand still in his, the shyness mixed with joy, fear, expectation.
Suddenly, a small laugh echoed in the stillness of the garden, the sound getting louder by the seconds.
Shoto was laughing his heart out, tilting his head back, clenching his stomach from time to time. Momo's eyes softened at this unusual sight, her own laugh bubbling and joining his.
A few seconds went by, their laughs subsiding very slowly, their breathing still a little heavy.
"I'm…. sorry…for making you... run like this..."
"I didn't laugh like this for a long time, so don't apologize", she replied softly.
He let go of her hand and turned around, his eyes cast downside.
"I.. I still must apologize… I played along with Kyoka and made you uncomfortable."
"I certainly wasn't at ease at all, but…", she paused and forced herself to keep her dark gaze on his face, "I got to see a side of you I wasn't aware of, and I appreciated it."
His eyes shot back up, making contact with hers. She was radiant with nervousness and determination at the same time.
"I wasn't aware that I wanted to see it too, the flustered, blushing and mischievous Yaomomo…"
His usually deep and monotonous voice held a warmer tone, and the small crooked smile on his face made Momo turn a shade darker, the eye contact getting harder to maintain. The words Kyoka told her at the beach rang in her head, and she knew her friend was spot-on: she was terrified, elated and terrified to potentially see her feelings returned. Because it meant losing something precious for her for something which outcome she couldn't predict one bit.
But she couldn't simply ignore his own wish, could she?
She slowly raised her hand to tuck a strand of loose hair behind her ear, and inhaled slowly, her eyes slightly downcast.
In front of her, Shoto was getting restless, trapped in his own doubts.
Was it too bold of him? Had he chosen the right words?
He didn't know himself yet what he truly wanted, where he wanted this to go. He just knew that he couldn't suppress the need to get a little bit closer anymore, a need that was growing as he watched every changes in her demeanor with a kind of fascination.
The possessiveness that flared from time to time made it clear at least that the woman in front of him was special to him.
He was currently fighting this strange urge to tuck this strand of her behind her eat himself, but he decided against it, as she had been flustered too much in a single day already.
He wasn't prepared for her to reach for his hand, joining their fingers together, her cheeks still flushed.
He wasn't prepared for the tiny soft smile reaching her eyes as she whispered "In that is the case, why not try to get to know each other better?"
He wasn't aware of the warmth reaching his cheeks as he simply nodded with a faint smile.
...
"Tadam!"
Denki lifted his hand from Kyoka's eyes, dramatically showing her what he had prepared for her birthday night. Her eyes softened at the display she found in front of her: a fluffy picnic blanket, full of her favorite drinks and snacks, a small Bluetooth speaker letting their playlist out at low volume. Garlands of small lights were hanging on his bedroom walls, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere.
She glanced at his goofy grin, as he was visibly trying to scan her reactions to see if she was happy.
She reached for his face and cupped it between her hands, softly kissing him.
"You're really a dork, you know that?"
He hummed in response, his eyes still showing his eagerness to know her real thoughts. She chuckled and headed toward the blanket, sitting down next to the snacks.
"It's adorable, thank you Denks…"
His gigawatt smile made her laugh, as he nearly jumped beside her, offering her a drink.
They silently ate and drank, occasionally singing softly along the songs.
There was a time when Denki would fret over the silence, but recently, he had learned to enjoy the comfort it could bring, simply being near someone who's dear to you and who understand you.
"Hey?"
"Hummm?"
"Is it okay if I come visit your parents next weekend?"
He choked on the mouthful of chips he had just engulfed, coughing loudly.
She brought him a bottle of water and waited patiently for him to regain his composure.
"How come… you want to visit suddenly?"
"It is only fair, right? You came to meet my parents, and we agreed that I'll do the same soon. School will start in 2 weeks, so I thought it would be the best time to visit."
The surprise fading, a mixed feelings of excitement and feat coursed through him: they had discussed it, true, but somehow it fell in the back of his mind with all that happened the last few weeks. But seeing how eager and happy she seemed at the idea of seeing his parents made his heart thump a little bit louder.
"I think it'll be okay, I'll check everything with them tomorrow."
She clasped her hands enthusiastically before grabbing a bottle of Dr Pepper next to him.
"Oh, by the way!," he suddenly exclaimed, reaching for the drawer of his bedside table, "happy birthday Kyo! I'm grateful for you being on this planet!"
In the palm of his hand was a small package with a "Happy Birthday" scribbled in his messy handwriting.
She felt her throat tightens, as a gut-feeling hit her hard: he probably had made this gift himself, and this simple idea created a surge of emotions she struggled to handle.
She shakily took the package, as she could feel his look on her, observing every reaction once again.
How could he think that she'd be unhappy and disappointed when he was always so thoughtful of her?
She slowly opened her present, observing with attention every little detail.
It was a simple necklace made of 2 interlaced bands of leather, one black and the other a deep purple. Small yellow leather bonds were tightening the two chords together at a regular interval, the accessory matching the one she had gifted him on his birthday. A miniature portrait of them rested at the bottom of the package, a recollection of the photo she had taken on their date.
Denki got up and sat down behind her, embracing her gently. She let herself relax, leaning against his torso and handing him the necklace for him to clasp it behind her neck. He kissed the crown of her head before doing as he has been told, landing a last kiss on her neck as he finished his task.
"You did it yourself, I suppose?"
He nodded and whispered "It's the first time I tried to craft something like that."
"I really love it. Simple but meaningful… And its practical too, since it's not too long. I'll be able to wear it even on the field."
"I thought it would be better if you could do so."
She turned her head to plant a light kiss on his cheek.
"You're an endless bag of surprises, my dear."
"I must admit that I'm more a bag of stress, madam."
They both laughed at their own antics and talked the night away, falling asleep together on the blanket surrounded by snacks and music.
...
Their intertwined hands resting on the seat between them, Kaminari and Kyoka shared one of their comfortable silence, as they each were lost in their own thoughts, their head lulled by the soft rolling of the train.
Even if he was on the other side this time, Denki couldn't help but feel worried as the thought of his family meeting Kyoka for the first time. He knew she would be loved by everyone… After all, everyone, including Takuto was already fond of her.
No, it was a more vicious worry, a little voice whispering to him that she was bound to discover something that could drive her away from him, that could disgust her for good.
It was irrational, weird, an obvious nonsensical thing to think about.
But it had been nonetheless here in a tiny corner of his mind at one point. It was no use to hide it, so he told her about it, and she had just confirmed what he already knew: there was no reason for him to fear any of those things.
He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so he did his best to shut down his paranoia to focus on the only important thing: enjoying this day where his most loved persons in the world would finally meet.
His thumb slowly drew circles on the back of her hand, her head leaning slowly against his shoulder.
She felt herself relax under his touch, the minutes passing making her more jittery. It was strange to think that he had been in her place few weeks ago, and she now could picture how he must have felt in the train, or at the bakery she had hinted him to go before coming at her house. She knew that he had been anxious to the point he got lost as he went out of the bakery and had to call her, his voice laced with shame behind his usual jokes.
He still remained a mystery to her sometimes, waltzing from insecure and full of self-doubt to brave and daring in a blink of an eye.
She was lucky he was here with her today, for she knew she wouldn't be as relaxed as she felt right now. Behind her confidence and continuous sarcasm were hidden fears and insecurities that Denki helped to manage as much as he ignited them.
After all, he was her first serious relationship, the first boy she felt deeply connected to, someone she sometimes felt like spending her life with, and this very thought was the scariest of all. It was too much, too soon, and she was pretty sure that the majority of the seventeen years old girls weren't thinking about this. And meeting his parents today was pushing this particular button, making everything more real… but it would be alright.
That was what crossed her mind as she felt the weight of his own head against hers, the lyrics of a song they discovered recently whispered in a low voice.
She promised herself to tell him how much he unknowingly help her just by standing by her side, just by being him.
But for now, she just joined his humming, holding his hand a bit tighter, the pace of the train slowing softly as the feminine voice announced their arrival at their penultimate station.
...
For the tenth time in half an hour, Denki got up after tossing and turning in his bed, his eyes wandering on the moon up in the august night.
He should have known that sleep wouldn't be found when Kyoka was just a few doors away, in his own house. Even if it had been planned days ago, even if everyone agreed on this arrangement, he couldn't help but feel giddy, anxious and excited at the same time.
If someone had told him months ago that he would feel this fulfilled, he wouldn't have believed it. Everything that happened today had been a source of joy and happiness, from the warm welcome his parents reserved to Kyoka to the joined teasing he had undergone by her and Takuto when they all hung out in his room tonight, casually playing games and listening to music.
They even ganged up against him while playing Mario Kart, teasing him relentlessly as they shot red turtle shells, bursting out of laughter when he was struck by lightning and shrunk, asking him where his lightning rod abilities went. He yelled at them in mock frustration, throwing some pillows at Takuto, the whole thing turning in a messy pillow fight.
His jaw and stomach and muscles were hurting from laughing so much and running around in his room.
As he remembered the last month, all he could think of was happiness. Between their field trip, Kyoka's birthday and their visit to his family, it was the busiest and funniest summer he ever had.
And the sense of growth and confidence that was welling up more and more inside him was exhilarating. But he knew better than letting this get to his head too much: self-esteem was an every day battle, where the slightest bump in the road could make you fall, hard.
As his mind was wandering on all this thoughts, a soft knock echoed against his door.
He wondered who could that be, his parents having already made him live the most awkward and embarrassing moment in his life last time he visited by showering him with intimate questions about his relationship with Kyoka, and how to behave on several matters from now on…
He groaned as the memory replayed in his head, even if he knew this was bound to happen at one point. In the end, he was glad they had this conversation, since they got a little more physical with their relationship lately. But still, the glimpse on his own parents intimacy left a scar that he hadn't quite recovered of yet.
He slowly got to his door, the talk he had with his father in the kitchen before going up to join Kyoka and Takuto with some snacks coming right up in his mind.
His father wasn't really the talkative type: Denki knew he cared for him, but he usually showed it by acting rather than expressing his feelings.
That's how they went to his favorite restaurant the day he came back from school after exposing that Takuto was bullied, or how they all took a day off to go to the countryside when he came back from UA after the incident.
So seeing his father motioning for him to come closer had startled him quite a bit, and it was with a hint of worry that he had put down the tray and went to his father side.
His worry flew away when he took in the small grin on his face: a rare sight that made him relax. After all, people were always saying that he was the splitting portrait of his mother, until they saw him smile.
"I'm glad that Kyoka-chan could came, I was eager to meet the person that's doing so much good in my son's life."
Denki nodded, scratching sheepishly the back of his head.
"I'm glad that she seemed to be at ease… I wasn't as relax when I met her family last time."
Denki's father patted his back, sighing.
"It is always more difficult for a father to entrust his daughter to another man…. I've been in your shoes one day too…"
Denki raised his eyebrows, suddenly curious.
"Care to tell me about it?"
"Would take too long, you have guests, remember?"
"Shoot, I better get going!"
Denki wished his father good night before taking the tray back.
"Hey Denki!"
"Hmm?"
"Never forget to take care of what is important to you, okay?"
Denki grinned and winked to his father.
"Roger, dad!", he exclaimed as he was heading to the stairs.
Another impatient knock got him out of his trip down memory lane.
"Comin'", he whispered as he opened the door.
His eyes widened when his amber orbs fell on the petite silhouette he knew so well.
"Kyo? Something's wrong?"
She smiled and whispered "Not really, I just have a hard time to fall asleep after all this adrenaline."
He made room for her to enter, and quietly shut the door behind her. It was nearly midnight, and his parents were already fast asleep.
And even if nothing wrong was going on, he'd rather avoid any suspicions from them…
Kyoka sat down on his bed, trying her best to not let her uneasiness show. It was one thing to be here with his friend to hang out. Heck, it was also another thing to stay in his room at UA, simply because it was the place they were thriving to become heroes. In the end they had slept in the same room only twice by accident, and they made sure to keep displays of affection to the minimum.
But there, it was his room, a part of his childhood and teenage years. She was surrounded by his scent, his memories, the environment he grew up in, and it was another sense of intimacy that thrilled and scared her… along with the sight of his body simply clad in a dark tank top and a white short.
He sat down next to her, reaching for her hand.
"Is it the only thing troubling you?"
She cast her eyes downwards, searching for her words.
She finally whispered "I…. I kinda missed you. It felt weird to be alone in this room."
He moved to rest against the wall, and silently motioned for her to come closer. She settled between his open legs and rested her back against his chest, their usual position in their sanctuary, near the tree.
He weaved his arms around her waist and kissed the crown of her head.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think you would be this uncomfortable."
She shook her head while humming, wanting to ease his mind.
"It's more that I felt a bit overwhelmed by everything. We had a great time today, I'm relieved that I got along well with your family and with Takuto, and I feel all tingly just by being in the place you grew up."
He hummed in understanding, still maintaining her in his arms.
He whispered close to her ear "Can I confess something? I was afraid you wouldn't feel safe if I told you you could stay with me here. My parents thought it would be better too."
She chuckled softly and turned her head back to look at him.
"I feel so unsafe that the first thing coming to my mind was to find you when I felt strange."
He laughed in a low voice, closing the gap between them and bumping her forehead with his, the smile on her face turning softer.
But Denki didn't want to let this matter slide so easily behind light jokes and hidden sarcasms.
"I'm serious though. I mean, we never talk about this, but we have some steamy moments, and I don't want you to think I'm pushing you to do anything."
Kyoka's smile widened, her throat feeling tight from the flow of tenderness she was experiencing. She already knew that he was one of the sweetest person she had the chance to meet, but he still managed to take her by surprise in moment like this by dropping meaningful sentences out of the blue.
She brought her right hand to his cheek, her thumb circling lightly his skin.
"I think that I don't tell you this enough, but I fully trust you. You have no idea how much you made me grow these past months, only by being the most respectful and caring boy I've ever known."
She felt his grip slowly tightening on her tee-shirt, a soft warmth appearing under her fingertips as she went on.
"And I'm fully capable to make my own decisions, on any kind of subjects."
He kissed her as soon as the last word left her mouth, their lips barely touching, the next words escaping his whispered in a rush.
"I'm sorry if I made you think that you were unable to do so, because it is absolutely not what I think. It's just that I don't want you to regret doing anything in the spur of a moment."
She sighed: sometimes, he really made it more difficult than necessary. She suddenly broke their embrace by turning around and straddling him, maintaining his head between her two hands, her onyx gaze determinedly glaring at his amber one.
"Denki Kaminari, I want you to carve this in your memory: I will never regret doing anything if it is with you, because first, I love you, and second, I trust you with every fiber of my being. Don't you trust me?"
"More than anything."
"So, problem solved."
"I… wanted to ask you something though."
His face was still slightly red, and Kyoka was beginning to feel the burn on her cheeks too. Too much intimacy, she thought, as she recalled their position, his hands still on her side, the bare skin of their legs touching as they both were wearing their night attire.
She took a deep breath: after all, she asked him to trust her on this subject, it was fair enough to be open to discussion.
"How do you feel when we are... making out and stuff?"
She remembered the first time when they got more intimate, when he came back to UA, and bit her lower lip at the recollection. She didn't saw this coming...
"I... I wonder why you want to know that."
"We never really talked about all this, and you know how insecure I can be about you're well being. I don't want you to tell me if you feel physically good or something like that, even if it's always flattering..."
She flicked his forehead while clicking her tongue, as he smirked cheekily.
His face grew serious again, as he went on. "I was just wondering what's going on your mind, because mine is always so overwhelmed. I'm afraid, overjoyed, worried, bursting with so much feelings that I'm..."
"Afraid to lose control?"
He cast his gaze downward, his cheeks flaring from embarrassment. She reached for his right cheek, making him look up.
"That makes two of us in this case. It's scary and thrilling at the same time. I never thought I would jump on you like the first time, and each time is bringing a greed so fierce that I don't know what to do about it."
He smiled softly, probably remembering that time too, she thought, as he began running his hand slowly up and down her waist absentmindedly.
"I was surprised at first, but I kinda like this side of you... Or the fact that I'm the one waking it!".
She pinched his cheek in retaliation, before kissing him lightly.
"I never understand how you can turn from so sweet to a borderline jerk in the blink of an eye."
"It hurts, Ma'am… I'm just a tad bit cheeky, and I know you like it", he replied with a wink, dodging the following flick. It soon turned into a flick and tickle fight, the seriousness of the previous conversation thrown away by their muffled laughter.
The moonlight lit the room softly, as they laid side by side on Denki's bed, regaining their breath from the intense contest. They called it a draw, their jaws sore from laughing and smiling, before enjoying the stillness of the summer night and the cool breeze entering by the lightly opened window.
Denki stood on his elbow, taking in the sight of her laying there, her hair pooling on his pillow, the light softening even more her features.
Pulled in by a strange emotion, he lowered himself and captured her lips softly, the kiss growing fiercer by the seconds, an urgency pouring from him as his tongue embraced hers, his arms surrounding her as he pulled her against him.
He withdrew slightly after a while, caressing her flushed cheeks, watching her eyes slowly coming back from the daze she was in.
His lips just a little bit away from hers, his voice low and raspy let out an "I love you" barely whispered, as he buried his head in the crook of her neck, his hand lazily caressing her back.
His muffled voice went on, his lips occasionally grazing her skin as he kept on talking.
"I just… I can't imagine my life without you anymore…."
One of his hand touched protectively the naked skin of her lower back, where her night shirt had riled up a bit.
"It's scary sometimes…. How I want us to always be together…"
She let out a small whimper, the warmth of his touch sending shivers along her whole spine, his words echoing her own fears and desires.
His head shot up with instant worry in his eyes, that she decided to shut down by kissing him as fiercely, her hands traveling under his tank top, her short nails scratching his abdomen gently. His voice let out the same kind of sound that escaped her seconds before, as his eyes widened in surprise.
"See… You didn't hurt me… I'm the same," she whispered between small kisses she was sowing everywhere on his face and neck, "I desperately want to be with you, to discover every side of you…"
Denki's amber eyes turned a shade darker, a new light igniting them as his hand went up on Kyoka's back, his fingers tasting her pale skin while the other hand was buried in her dark locks, angling her head to give him a better access to her neck and earlobe.
He'll trust her with every fiber of his soul, he'll trust himself and his feelings even more from now on, for their desires and wishes were aligned, like the stars in the August sky.
