Stakeout's are not all like we see in the movies, they involve lots of boredom, long conversations, and more boredom, followed by some few minutes of excitement.

However things seem to never go entirely to plan when Midoriya is there.

Chapter 4 - Stakeout

Hosu: 5:00 AM

Four figures entered an old apartment building from the air, only three of whom were flying, the forth was being carried. The balcony door had been left open and a cat headed human was monitoring their target.

"I'm amazed your theory about Dark Shadow being able to allow me to fly was correct," Tokoyami stated.

"Thanks.. How did you know?" Both Midoriya and Hawks said simultaneously.

"Midoriya theorized that it was possible based on how I wasn't affected by any added strain when Dark Shadow picked up heavy objects, I shouldn't be surprised that the Number 3 Hero also picked up on it."

"Aren't I awesome," Dark Shadow bragged.

"Any activity? Rocky asked.

"No, hey kids," the police officer waved, "I'm Sansa Tamagawa, so these two are the ones that got the first Learner's Permits in what five years?"

"Yeah," answered Hawks, 'So he's All Might's detective friend's subordinate.'

"Pardon for asking," Tokoyami asked, "But what are we doing here?"

"Yeah that's right, you guys weren't fully briefed..." said Hawks, "Okay we received a tip about an illegal drug shipment coming in, this place is situated near where it's supposed to go down. That's why those learner permits were so critical, it allowed the two of you to fully participate under my orders without getting you or me in trouble."

"They're awfully young, I know they are the 2nd and 3rd place contenders in the Sports Festival, but wouldn't that Bakugo kid..."

"He'd have been too noisy," Hawks cut him off, "not to mention too impatient."

"When's this delivery supposed to take place?" Midoriya asked, "and for that matter what is it?"

The door to the apartment from the interior hallway opened, "Either late this evening, or early tomorrow morning, according to Sir," Mr. Centipede walked in carrying a full breakfast takeout order for everyone, "How do you do that Hawks, always arrive at precisely the right time..."

"What can I say, I'm just too fast for my own good..."

"Well at least everything is hot and fresh," Rocky commented sounding entirely professional, "so we've got 3 watch shifts. Bugboy and Catboy will be coming off their shift soon, so that means Tsukuyomi and myself are up next, Hawks and Deku after you two eat you both will also hit the sack, your shifts will start this evening. I hope bug boy brought enough sleeping bags..."

"I thought Hawks was in charge," Mr. Centipede looked confused, "And yes I brought 6 of them.

"Rocky tends to handle the logistics of most of my agency's stakeouts," Hawks commented, "It's one of the reasons I made him one of my sidekicks. Also it sounds like a good plan considering Midoriya's long day yesterday."

After they all ate breakfast, Hawks and Midoriya rolled out four sleeping bags in the room off of what would have been the living room if this apartment were still in use. "Well at least they have the utilities back up and no roaches," Hawks commented, "but then Rocky is a stickler for such things... Ever been camping."

"Once when I was nine, it was part of a class trip," Midoriya shuddered, "I didn't get any sleep that night." He had been terrified of what his classmates would do to him, in fact one of his classmates had tried to pull something but managed to trip over Kacchan, and stepped on the face of yet another kid (who had a porcupine quirk), while the teachers didn't care about him, they didn't tolerate what they had thought was a prank directed at Kacchan.

"My first camping trip was when I was twelve," Hawks told him, "it was part of survival training, I didn't much sleep because of the noise, it's gotten easier as I've learned to tune stuff out."

"That's right! You can sense vibrations through your feathers even if they aren't connected to you, and you can also telekinetically direct your feathers and them as weapons," Midoriya's eyes had lit up eagerly reciting everything he knew off the top of his head regarding Hawks' quirk.

'Okay now there's another reason why he couldn't have been a traitor, if he were god help us all,' it took all of Hawks' training to keep from reacting negatively, "You're really good at analyzing quirks."

"Not really..."

"Kid, you figured out some things about my quirk that isn't public knowledge..." Hawks admitted, "You're really good at it."

"People often get angry..."

"Kid, that's because you make them nervous," Hawks smiled, "Even before your quirk manifested, they realized you could be dangerous to them. It made them even more angry because they thought you were a weakling."

"So it was my..."

"It's not your fault," Hawks admonished him, "Don't even think it, if they hadn't been so concerned with their own ego's they would have recognized just how incredibly valuable someone like you would be working for their hero agency, if they had gone into heroics. It's nothing to be ashamed over."

"I don't understand, Kacchan is nearly as good as I am at figuring out quirks, and he's faster," Midoriya's lack of self-esteem was on full display again.

'I don't know what's scarier the fact he's so good at analyzing people's abilities, or the fact he was browbeat so much that he has such a low sense of self-worth that he doesn't even realize it,' thought Hawks. "He probably learned how to analyze others from you, also you are used to being more methodical, we're going to work on you speeding up your planning, but I imagine there are things that Bakugo can miss," Hawks shrugged and pulled off his shoes and overcoat, "you're going to want to stay in your hero suit except for those clodhoppers, that and that over-sized... is that a air filtering mask?"

"Yes," Midoriya did as he was told, "thanks." He yawned falling to sleep.

"Don't mention it," Hawks replied noting that the two people coming off shift were walking in and it was now 7 AM.

"Your shift starts at 3 PM," the police officer commented, "We'll call in other officers when it's showtime."

"That's cool..." answered Hawks settling in for a nap.

Hosu: 10:00 PM

Midoriya was seriously looking forward to the end of his shift, both he and Hawks were incredibly bored.

"They really make these seem a lot cooler in movies, huh?" Hawks commented.

"I don't watch many movies," Midoriya admitted.

"That so?"

"I have a question?"

"Okay what is it?"

"Do you think a quirkless person can be a hero?"

"You mean like a pro?" Hawks asked as Midoriya slowly nodded, "Well that's a tough one... If I were to be perfectly honest, I'd say it is possible but incredibly difficult, All Might told you it wasn't right?"

"How'd you know?"

"Well I am the Number 3 Hero," Hawks commented, "But seriously, I've had some inputs that All Might didn't have, you see Rocky isn't just a fanboy of old cartoons as well as All Might, he has a large comic book collection, granted almost all of them are digitized versions of the originals which would have fallen apart... He also has some of the old games, particularly the Arkham Series..."

"I don't understand?"

"It was a character named Bruce Wayne, aka the Batman..."

"I don't follow, did he have a quirk related to bats?"

"No, it was a man whose parents were gunned down in front of him when he was eight years old," Hawks explained, "Now his parents were incredibly rich and he inheritted that money..."

"So he started an agency that heroes worked for?"

"You could say that happened...eventually," answered Hawks, "but not to start with. He went around the world and received all kinds of training in martial arts, detective work, gymnastics, etc., then came back to Gotham and became a vigilante, though in our legal system he wouldn't be considered one. Essentially, he became a Hero before there were pro heroes. He utilized, his training, gadgets, cool vehicles, a scary suit, and so forth to become a hero. Though he was still dangerous outside the suit, he wasn't like Marvel's Iron Man, he didn't depend on the suit."

"So what quirk did he have?"

"His own hard work and determination, he was just a guy in a suit."

"So he was quirkless," Midoriya's eyes went wide, "Was that common in the old comics?"

"No, most heroes in the old comics had some innate power, or were chosen like you were, you'd be like Billy Batson aka Captain Marvel who was chosen and given incredible powers by some super-old wizard, however the Batman was one of the rare exceptions," answered Hawks, "In those comics he was one of the founding members of a hero organization and arguably their most dangerous member even without powers."

"So based on that..."

"Well a lot of the gear can be made with today's tech," Hawks commented, "He avoided the daylight stuff we see from people like All Might, he was kind of an underground hero, sticking to the shadows. Rocky does the same thing, primarily because he has extremely good low-light vision. Anyways this fictional character had an enormous rogues gallery, many of them had powers of their own. So, I think it is plausible for someone whom is quirkless to be a hero, but it would be an incredibly hard life in real life, and I don't think they would last long, very few people are as resourceful as Bruce Wayne was in the comics."

"Why?"

"Powers are often the great equalizer, while there have been quirkless vigilantes, and again legally they aren't vigilante because they don't have quirks, they tend to have to push themselves further than it is healthy, and things start to catch up on them quickly," Hawks sighed, "They have to be a lot smarter than their adversaries, you've got the brains for it, but not the body nor the training, the closest to a quirkless hero that comes to mind would be..."

"Eraser Head," answered Midoriya.

"I suppose, in the pro-hero circuit, but only because people aren't used to fighting without their quirks. He wasn't who I was thinking of, I was referring to a vigilante called Knuckleduster, though rumor has it he used to be the original o'Clock, until something happened to his quirk..."

"All for One?"

"Probably," Hawks admitted, "Knuckleduster has apparently had to give it up though, it was too hard on his body. A quirkless pro-hero's life would likely be very bright, but alarmingly brief. Maybe with a few exceptions... My point is it would take training at an incredibly early age...And it's showtime, get them up." Midoriya got up from the chair to get the others up. "I must say Nighteye can make these convenient," Hawks muttered.

"Sir?"

"I'll tell you later."

Hosu Warehouse District: 10:20 PM

"Hurry up time is money!" came a voice down below, as Hawks deposited Midoriya on top of the roof.

"Okay Rocky you're up," directed Hawks, the Squirrel Hero grinned and glided to a darkened area.

"What's he doing?" Midoriya asked.

"Just watch, Deku he's setting the table, I'm counting 18 with unknown quirks, a few too many for me to take all at once, given how spread out they are, so he's taking them out one by one. Just be ready to move in case he ends up in over his own head."

There was a sudden crash and as a forklift crashed into a wall, Midoriya could just barely make out Rocky scurrying away and climbing a wall.

"OH MY GOD! SOMEONE KILLED KENNY, THOSE BASTARDS!"

"He's not dead, idiot."

'Great are these villains or a failed comedy troop,' thought Hawks grimacing.

"Quit goofing off we're already behind schedule!"

Midoriya spotted Rocky giving a thumbs up from as he climbed up to start another run. When one of the criminals spotted him and opened fire, Rocky managed to vault from his perch.

"Shit let's move," Hawks ordered, "Tsukuyomi, get that truck out of commission. Deku, I need you to take out that those 2 over there, it's 2 more than I can hit all at once."

Both boy's launched for their targets, Midoriya rebounding off walls in the alley to get ground-side.

'Okay, I've gotta hit them all at once,' Hawks dispatched his feathers and managed to hit all of his targets except the shooter, though two of the ones he targeted shrugged it off, and started shooting at him, but were having a harder time tracking him than the one guy was targeting his sidekick. 'It's his quirk,' he realized, 'he can see just as well as Keito in the dark, maybe better, no he's tracking his body heat, that's how he can see him, even through the crates. Not good.' He caught Midoriya taking out the two thugs he assigned to him, 'Good job, Deku, now where are the cops. We could use some backup those two have hardening quirks...'

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami had switched targets and attacked the two villains that had shrugged off Hawk's feathers.

'That wasn't the assigned target but good call,' thought Hawks as he diverted some feathers to slash the truck's tires as the driver tried to start it. Just then, 4 police cars, a SWAT van, and police wagon showed up, showed up. 'Bout time.' Midoriya had closed in on the one targeting Rocky and before he could bring the weapon to bear Midoriya kicked him into a crate.

"THIS IS THE POLICE!"

"Hey guys," Hawks flew down, "Got you some presents."

Hosu (Police Station): 11:20 PM

"Rocky?" Midoriya asked, they were sitting in a conference room while Hawks was talking with the police chief.

"I'm fine, the vest stopped the bullet, it just hurts like hell," Rocky said then glared at Mr. Centipede, "You KNEW about them having someone with a quirk that would let them see in the dark! That guy had thermal vision for a quirk!"

"If Rocky relies on stealth like Mr. Aizawa given his small stature and light weight when he has to take down villains, he loses all his advantages if his opponent has the ability to see body heat..." Midoriya mumbled only to be shaken out of it by Tokoyami getting him to refocus on the two pro heroes.

"I assure you I didn't..."

"That no good..."

"Enough!" Tokoyami jumped in, "I shouldn't have to tell a pro to not jump to conclusions..."

"Actually, I have a question?" Midoriya asked, "You clearly don't like Mr. Centipede and his boss, why is that?"

"I know of his dislike for me it has to do with the fact he can't deduce what I'm thinking from facial expressions," Mr. Centipede commented, "but the bulk of it is directed at Sir, not me. I told you before that Sir's quirk has limits, and when he sees the future it can't be changed. Her death was unfortunate, but unavoidable, if you had been told in that critical moment, you'd be dead too. It would either be you survived, or neither of you survived."

"So Nighteye's quirk involves precognition, it stands to reason that he's capable of seeing possible futures, but I'm with Rocky his quirk won't lock in events," Midoriya commented.

"The other thing involves a more recent dispute," Rocky spat, "Or did your boss also neglect to mention that little tidbit."

"I'm not sure I understand," Mr. Centipede stated, "Was there a spat you had in Hawks office, with my boss?"

"I apologize," sighed Rocky, "Tokoyami's right I am taking out my anger at your boss on you."

"It's okay, Sir can sometimes be extremely irritating to work with," Mr. Centipede admitted, "I know you cared for her deeply..."

Police Chief's Office:

"Hawks, those kids should not have been involved, woof!"

"They have permits and were operating under my express orders," Hawks looked rather bemused, "Look, if you want to yell at anyone, go pester Sir Nighteye. By the way where were you guys?"

The Chief opened his mouth then closed it again, then finally, "I thought those Learner Permits were discontinued..."

"Surprisingly, they weren't..."

"Damn politicians!"

"You're preaching to the choir on that one," Hawks laughed, "You didn't answer my question."

"Woof, I imagine I am, to answer your question, I hate to admit this but our people got caught in traffic due to an accident that blocked up a critical intersection, they had to backtrack and go around. Woof!" the chief thought for a moment and considered the positives of the situation, "Well at least I don't need to lecture them on vigilantism, woof!"

"Nope, all of this was strictly above board, so where's Sir Nighteye?" Hawks glanced at the Chief, then face-palmed, "I think I need to be in the conference room before you have a war in the Police Station."

Conference Room:

"So there you are," Nighteye entered the waiting room.

"Hello sir," Mr. Centipede acknowledged.

"I know you, you used to by All Might's sidekick up until about 6 years ago," Midoriya commented excitedly going into full fanboy mode, however Rocky positioned himself between the two, his ears laid back in a manner that suggested he was ready to fight. "W-what's going on?"

"Trust me you really don't want to know..." Rocky stated evenly, "Remember Hawks' warning, you knew about that thug."

"My foresight has limits and it is centered on the person I used my quirk on," Nighteye replied, "I saw the end of everything that you would be alive at the end of it. Anyways, I used my quirk on my contact which was one of the two people that Midoriya here took down!" His eyes turned purple while looking at Midoriya.

"S-sorry, is he going to be alright?" Midoriya was looking down at the floor, 'I'm a total screw up.'

"Yes, that doesn't change the fact..."

"If your contact is okay, then why are you admonishing him?" Rocky looked ready to really go at it, baring his teeth (which Midoriya knew could be incredibly dangerous), "You never gave us the identity of your contact, he was given an order by Hawks to take down those two, and that's what he did! Stop trying to bully him!" This shocked Nighteye out of using his quirk, Rocky really did look ready to tear him apart to protect the boy.

"Rocky stand down!" Hawks ordered, Rocky hurriedly recomposed himself and looked sheepish, "And don't look smug Nighteye, you and I are going to have a discussion later. As I said, messing with my subordinates is the same as messing with me. Got it!" Nighteye's face immediately went into a scowl. Hawks walked up to Nighteye and spoke quietly, too softly for anyone else to hear, "Izuku Midoriya is off limits, I know what you were trying to pull. I don't give a shit that you used to be All Might's sidekick, you could still be for all I care. Izuku Midoriya is my apprentice, mess with him and I'm going to take it personally, and there will be a reckoning, got it?" Nighteye stiffened. "Good."

'What is going on?' thought Midoriya, 'First Rocky and now Hawks, and the way Nighteye looked at me, it was like I was back in Middle School with those teachers, worse even.'

"Woof, I'm not sure what is going on, but take your squabbles elsewhere, woof," the Police Chief stated, "Given that the two boys have Learner Permits and were operating under their mentor's guidance, I have no reason to take any action towards them. The boy's actions made it easier to separate the undercover officer from the group without compromising his identity, and he's right you didn't exactly give them any clues as to the identity of your contact to go easy on them, woof! I can tell them both good job. We've been after that group of drug runners for months, woof!"

"It's no big deal," Hawks assured him, "We're going to be in neighborhood at least thru the day after. We've got a report to write and turn in, but it's kinda late. Let's say we set up at a hotel for the night."

"It isn't that late," Sir Nighteye commented.

"It's a school night and these two are pushing their bedtime," Hawks grinned and then shot Nighteye a look.

"I understand, we can reconvene in the morning..."

"Try noon..." Hawks replied, "A working lunch and you're buying..."

"I suppose that can be arranged," Nighteye adjusted his glasses.

As the four left the police station, Midoriya wondered why everything seemed so tense. Though he figured he better wait till he could ask away from prying ears.

Hotel room: 12:30 AM

"You sure you don't need that looked at?" Hawks asked, "That's a pretty nasty bruise."

"Well it isn't broke and I had an officer with X-ray vision look at it, my Ribs are just bruised not cracked."

The place Hawks had managed to book them in was an adjoining room suite with a grand total of 4 beds. Tokoyami and Midoriya had one room and while Rocky and Hawks had the other.

"Sir you didn't have to..."

"I appreciate good work, and we still have to supervise you two, it's too late to head back to the office anyways..." Hawks commented.

"What was that about with Nighteye?"

"I'm understandably curious as well," stated Tokoyami.

"He's a bastard obviously," commented Dark Shadow.

"Not far from the truth," Hawks muttered, "Okay, since this concerns you. Midoriya, do not trust the guy. He's the first person All Might called when he chose you. However, instead of being supportive, he took issue with you being chosen. Not only that, he'd been grooming some other kid named Mirio Togata to be the successor. All Might was on his way to U.A. that day to meet the kid because Nezu also recommended him, but then All Might met you."

"So I wasn't supposed to be the successor..."

"All Might chose you," said Hawks, "I've met Togata briefly, and I'll say All Might made a much better call."

"But..."

"Midoriya, this is why people didn't tell you, cause you'd beat yourself up for no reason, also for all we know All Might wouldn't have offered Togata the quirk anyways."

"I still should have known, I feel like I robbed him..."

"You shouldn't feel that way..." Tokoyami stated, "How many more of us would have died at USJ if you weren't there?"

"Midoriya, the tests yesterday demonstrated that All Might likely made the correct choice," Hawks assured him, "Togata wouldn't have been as compatible with the quirk, trust me on this."

"So what's this have to do with Nighteye?"

"He wants to manipulate you into giving the quirk to Mirio," Rocky spat, "the arrogant self..."

"Rocky, behave yourself," Hawks admonished...

"And Rocky blames Nighteye for his love's death..." Tokoyami theorized, "I can see the hostility."

"It's not like I'm going to kill him or anything," Rocky muttered.

"Anyways the question isn't about whether or not Togata is worthy, the question is whether or not you were," Hawks commented, "You've proven on numerous occasions that you are worthy, and Togata already has a quirk and is already set to becoming a pro next year, you didn't. So instead of one really powerful hero, there are two, plus if you knew what his quirk was you'd agree it had the potential of being really dangerous if supercharged."

"What is it?"

"His quirk essentially lets him phase through objects, if supercharged it could also affect buildings, now imagine how many people could get hurt," said Hawks ruffling Midoriya's hair, "Now get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow, and remember what I said Midoriya, he is an expert at psychologically manipulating people and preying on their self-doubts."

"Not to mention we're going to have a luncheon with Nighteye," Rocky's eyes gleamed as he grinned, "and he's paying!"

"No running up the tab," Hawks replied causing Rocky's grin to fall, "I expect everyone to be on good behavior tomorrow. That includes Nighteye by the way. If there is going to be feathers flying tomorrow, I want him to clearly start it."

"He won't," Rocky commented.

"Anyways, I made it clear that you're my Apprentice Midoriya, so if he's messing with you, it is the same as messing with the Number 3 Pro Hero, same goes for Tokoyami and you too Dark Shadow," Hawks grinned, "That said hopefully we can all enjoy the day tomorrow, the paperwork shouldn't be too bad..."

Inn: (on the other side of Hosu)

"Sir, your comments towards the boy were out of line," Mr. Centipede stated, "They didn't know who the contact was, let alone that the contact was on site."

Nighteye stiffened at that admonishment, and for a moment the sidekick thought he had potentially put his job in jeopardy, "So what is your opinion of him then."

"If I didn't know that it was the same person who placed 2nd in the Sports Festival, I would suspect the boy I met and the runner up from the festival to be two different people."

"Explain."

"In person, the boy is incredibly shy and unsure of himself, though in a crisis situation from what the cameras could make out, he's extremely decisive," the sidekick reported, "He's actually fairly likable in his own way, extremely courteous of others, all in all I don't see why you have the hostility..."

"It has to do with a difference in opinion between myself and All Might, I'm afraid," Nighteye admitted.

"Then why put the boy in the middle of it?" his sidekick asked.

'That is a fair point,' Nighteye admitted, "It has to do with choosing successors, All Might can't be there forever, as much as that truth pains me."

"So this is over who All Might is choosing as a protege?" asked the sidekick.

"Yes."

"Why can't he choose both?"

"What?"

"Sir, Mirio is very similar to All Might as you know," Mr. Centipede thought for a moment, "However there are aspects of Midoriya that are similar to All Might as well. I discretely asked Tokoyami about Midoriya and discovered he's frighteningly intelligent. Some of his new moves were directly taken from an analysis Midoriya made concerning his quirk. He can be incredibly timid, but his class trusts him to step up to the plate in a crisis. So the two boys are very different, but it is not a fair comparison."

"How so?"

"Mirio is a few years older, if you were being objective, you'd realize that it isn't a fair comparison," the sidekick pointed out, "Mirio has significantly more experience, while Midoriya is just at the starting line."

"I'm talking charisma, being a shining beacon?"

"No, he's more like a candle in comparison, but again in pitch darkness one can see a candle from 10 miles away," Mr. Centipede thought for a moment, "I think Midoriya's charisma is more subtle, and if he were paired up with Mirio, it would amplify Mirio's charisma."

"Anything else?"

"Not without direct interaction with the boy, and that was kept limited," his sidekick pointed out, "and quite frankly that isn't likely to happen anytime soon. His mentor's distrust of you extended to me as well. Is this why you wanted Minoru Mineta?"

"It more had to do with the fact that he got 4th place and demonstrated he has a level of intelligence that is rarely seen," Nighteye commented, "Though part of it was to get find out more, a good deal more had to do with just how inventive he is... He managed to hold his own against two opponents that were really bad matchups for him."

"I see..."

"Don't worry, your job isn't in jeopardy," Sir Nighteye assured him, "Thank you for providing me with an alternate perspective on the matter."

"Good night Sir." His sidekick then left the room.

'Did I really make a mistake when I objected to All Might's choice?' he thought, 'How much stronger would he have been if I had stepped in to teach him? Was the fuzzball right? He would have had the quirk earlier certainly. The concept of someone with All Might's strength, combined with his analytical abilities unpolished as they are is frightening. He could actually make All for One wary of confronting him. Especially if the reckless streak was trained out of him. I should have considered that possibility, two successors Mirio is pretty strong already, and if paired up with Midoriya, we could have hidden the 9th Holder in plain sight. I need to keep an open mind about him, particularly with what I foresaw when I focused on him with my quirk at the station.'

Flashback:

Nighteye discretely activated his quirk when looking at Midoriya, He saw Midoriya standing between a kid on the ground in an Ingenium style costume and a man armed with knives and swords. As the man initially managed to take Midoriya out of the fight, the man refocused on his original prey instead of Midoriya. The mouth movements allowed him to make out what the man was saying: "...But you are worth keeping alive, unlike these others..." He saw a small shape diving in at the edge of what he could see...

Present:

'If only that walking buzz-saw with a tail hadn't intervened,' Nighteye grimaced, 'He kept me from getting a long enough look at me quirk to review a wider time frame. Still I need to do the responsible thing and let Hawks know, this is going to happen tomorrow evening. then it hit him, he hadn't seen Hawks there. The Number 3 hero was incredibly protective of the boy something big was going down.

He called Hawks, "Look I know it's late..."

"Yeah, why are you calling now?"

"I used my quirk on Midoriya and was trying to figure out what to make of it before informing you."

"What?"

"He will encounter the Hero Killer tomorrow evening in an alley, I couldn't see the whole fight how it will end, but it looked like Midoriya was safe...from the Hero Killer anyways."

"What?!"

"I read the man's lips, he said: 'But you are worth keeping alive, unlike these others.' I may have saw Rocky at the edge of what I could see, but you weren't there."

"When?"

"Tomorrow evening..."

"Okay I'll figure something out, see you tomorrow." Hawks hung up.

What we didn't know is that by that afternoon was that Endeavor would finally make his appearance, hunting for the Hero Killer, and the reason why Nighteye, hadn't seen Hawks was because the League of Villains would also make their move. - Izuku Midoriya

Notes:

I figured this provided some more backstory into Rocky's dislike of Sir Nighteye.

I imagine people have picked up on what is coming soon, the Hero Killer Stain is soon to make his appearance.

I hope people like the Southpark reference, though I'm not a fan, I just found myself adding it to the fight seen and thought it was funny.
