Peter was not your ordinary pillager, he liked to explore. He was always sneaking out of the mansion or outpost he was stationed at to go find some temple or another.

"Cave's are where all the good stuff is", I said, "no one ventures into caves, and even if I don't find anything down here there are still a bunch of cool ores". I was wandering around a cave when I saw some deepslate, so I followed it down. I collected some samples of the deepslate, with various ores embed into it. Then I found some weird speckled dark blue stuff. I said "cool!", and collected more samples. I noticed that some of the formations responded to sound. I then realized what it was, sculk. I'd heard about it from various bedtime stories, but they where probably mostly made up. As I ventured deeper into the area with the sculk, that the bedtime stories had dubbed the deep dark. As I wondered further into the deep dark I found a sort of underground city, or an ancient city as I had heard before. As I entered the city I heard a yell, it had come from a sculk formation that I called a shrieker. It seemed like some kind of warning, but when has a warning ever stopped me? I continued exploring the ancient city, but quietly this time. When I opened a chest though, I heard another shriek, remembering the three strikes your out rule, and ran, but the noise of my footsteps triggered a third shriek, and there was an earthquake, and a frighting creature that my parents had scared my with stories of emerged from the ground, the warden. I ran and ran, and when I reached the end of the cave I looked back and I thought I lost it. I emerged from the cave full of curiosity, and a newfound respect for bedtime stories. A few minutes later, the warden left the cave too.
