He did get teary eyed. Of course he would never let his husband know of this as he felt deeply ashamed for it. But he couldn't help it; he was a greedy man in love. Perhaps a little too greedy.

Deidara was distressed and he hated it. Internally he felt it was his fault- but surely it wasn't. But what if it was? Sasori on the other hand was ignoring it not out of ignorance and not to be mean. If anything he felt embarrassed and ashamed as well, even more so than Deidara. This was his problem after all, not Deidara's. The fact he was trying to cope with it alone was what wasn't healthy- for either of them.

Sighing in the mirror, today was going to be the day Deidara talked to Sasori about it and end it. They couldn't live on like this. They hadn't had intercourse in well over a month! Sure Sasori helped Deidara get off, but that was the thing. Sasori didn't. Well it wasn't to say he didn't want to become aroused by his husband's naked and delicious smelling body. Sasori did, really did, and it was the natural reaction. Instead here in lie the main problem that was the root of their misery; He couldn't.

Sasori had started down the slope of erectile dysfunction and both weren't acknowledging it. How could they? Sasori was young still. He was only fifty-one! Not only that- Deidara was at his peak gorgeousness. A mixture of rough masculinity and, pure beauty. He'd love the shove Deidara into their martial bed! This man was pure art and it drove Sasori bonkers he wasn't getting aroused by him. Well he was, sometimes, just it wasn't enough to keep up the full act of intercourse. It made Sasori feel pathetic, no matter how reassuring Deidara was.

"Sasori."

Sasori jerked and looked up from his seat. He stared with wide eyes at his husband, dressed and ready to go. The fact he used his name and not an affectionate term of endearment was whilst wearing pants was... unsettling.

"Am I in trouble?"

He wasn't going to sugar coat it, "We are going to the doctors, hn."

Sasori stood up with a sigh as Deidara grabbed his coat for him, holding it open to help him in it. "It was bound to happen." Sasori mumbled to himself as Deidara then kneeled before him, removing the slippers Sasori wore and helping him into and then tying his shoes for him.

"Yup... it was bound to happen, hm." Deidara agreed with a sigh as he stood up straight, but ultimately kissed Sasori's forehead when he was finally all bundled up. "It'll be okay though."

"Yeah... right."

The doctor smiled at the couple. They had been their doctor for years now, having been Sasori's before having even met Deidara. He was a good doctor, a wonderful older man who held no prejudice and even advocated, thus for had multiple homosexual patients.
Even though he married a woman, he himself was an old bisexual male.

Man were his patients going to miss him when he retired soon. What a ally.

"What seems to be the problem, Deidara?" The Doctor asked with a chuckle as of lately Deidara was the one storming in and making all the medical demands. He would come in with a list with symptoms of Sasori's ailments and his worries. All while Sasori, the actual patient, would sit back quietly like a small child.

Deidara only wanted his husband to be healthy and well! The Doctor knew this and Sasori wasn't going to argue. He liked being pampered after all. Not that he would ever admit it. No, he would never admit that.

The Doctor took note of the men's faces though as soon as he asked. Sasori clearly didn't want to be here and Deidara was without his notes.

"Oh dear, what's going on boys?" The Doctor said leaning forward as his elbows rested on his knees, the heavy energy in the room already weighing him down too.

Sasori's lips screwed shut. If he wasn't allowed to talk at his doctors appointments before, he wasn't going to start talking now. So instead Deidara took a deep breath, "It's no good."

Sasori's head whipped towards Deidara. He glared at him, "It's no good? What do you mean, 'no good'!"

Apparently the screw on his lips wasn't tight enough.

Shaking his head, Deidara pulled at his hair, "It's not working anymore! We haven't- he can't- we need a solution."

Not getting an answer as he was instead outright ignored, Sasori glared on.

The Doctor put it together pretty quick. Sasori was in his fifties now, it was bound to happen, and they were bound to show up eventually as from their previous visits he had already been well aware of their one on one active life to the fullest details. As a man too, he knew what was 'no good'.

"Well you came to the right place Deidara." The Doctor chuckled as he stood up, "Sasori I'm going to check your blood pressure and heart."

Sasori nodded, returning to his silence, and allowed his upper arm to be wrapped and his heart pressure checked. This wasn't a new occurrence. As soon as he turned fifty, they began keeping a closer look on his heart. Especially after Deidara made big demands they do so as,

"That heart right there? It's mine! I get to take care of it however I please! So I get to take it in for tuning and checkups whenever the hell I damn want, hmph!"

That appointment sounded like a continuation of an argument the two had at home. An argument Sasori lost seeing as he was dragged to the doctors sulking as Deidara yelled about his ownership over Sasori. Also Sasori's silence in denying it.

The doctor smiled and took one more look over Sasori's medical history. Looking at the options, he prescribed Sasori a particular blue pill. It's good for him now for his circumstances, we'll still keep checking his heart as per usual; lest you, Deidara, come barging in due to HIS heart acting up.

Because that heart in Sasori's chest belongs to Deidara.

"Now listen..." The doctor stopped from addressing Sasori, the patient, and turned to Deidara, "Just because you have a pill to help now, doesn't mean they get to do it as often as you once did."

Deidara sighed, pouting, "I dunno doc, that's gonna be hard... I mean look at him!" He yelled, thrusting his hands towards Sasori, starling the poor guy. Sasori just stared at his husband like he was insane. "See? Handsomely Precious!"

"Let's say... stick to twice, maybe three times a week? No more than that. There may even be a chance three times a week is too much."

Sasori muttered quietly, "Oh thank god..." after hearing the doctor tell Deidara that their intimacy would be decreased. Now that he was in his fifties, Sasori was not only struggling to... but he was also beginning to feel the pain after doing so. Oh how he ached as he tried to keep up with Deidara.

What a freak in the sheets. It was too bad he couldn't keep up anymore. He had some fond memories or romping around with Deidara in sack.

Deidara scowled, "That's such a downgrade."

"Do you love Sasori any less then?"

Deidara gasped loudly, hand pressed to his chest in offense, "Of course not! If anything it just means I'm going to find new and creative ways to express my love to him, hm!"

Sasori let out a guttural sound, "Dear lord..."

Laughing at the two, the Doctor chuckled, "You kids these days..."

Sasori opened his usual lunch kit and noticed a note on his food. Reading it, he snorted. How foolish of Deidara. Folding it up neatly, he put it into his desk for safe keeping. Who knows when he'll need a moment, a time to look back while at work at someone who loves him.

For the next eleven years, and longer, Sasori kept those notes in his desk, now in a book that Deidara didn't know about. Sasori had never vocally acknowledged the heart filled notes from Deidara and Deidara had never mentioned them to Sasori. Just a silent a acknowledgement of them as Sasori would come home, peck Deidara on the cheek and thank him for a delightful lunch.

Each note filled with love that Sasori wished to keep forever, as Deidara kept his word and never failed to prove he loved him any less.

i mean he's gettin older, but not less lovable.
