It was Saturday morning, Naruto making plans the previous night for the couple to go out shopping. They just woke up, both of them picking out clothes to wear.

"We're going to find some awesome things to spruce up your dull apartment." Naruto commented, pulling out a pair of jeans. "It's so depressing here."

Sasuke scowled as he looked over his clothes. "I don't see what the point is. The apartment is fine as it is."

Naruto rolled his eyes. "Please. The space needs it, it's like living in a hospital room. Absolutely nothing to look at."

Sasuke turned to face Naruto, his eyes half lidded and a half smirk on his lips. "All I need to look at is you."

Naruto stared at him with a bored look before gathering his clothes and making his way to the bathroom. "Hurry up." He slammed the bathroom door closed.

Sasuke let out a sigh as his attempt at being romantic failed before quickly getting dressed.

The pair eventually made it to the mall where Naruto dragged them into a home store.

"Sasuke!" Naruto called out as soon as they entered. "Look at this!"

The raven walked after his boyfriend, his hands in his pocket as he took his time to walk over to where he was. He raised an eyebrow as Naruto held up a picture of a giant frog. "What am I supposed to be looking at?"

Naruto looked down at the picture then back up to Sasuke, his eyes bright. "This cool ass picture of this frog! It's awesome."

"It's obnoxious." Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"Alright Mr. Picky." Naruto put the picture back, walking further down the shelves. "Ooh! Look at this!" He picked up a vase that was shaped like a cactus. "You can put some fake plants in this. Or real ones."

"Hard pass." Sasuke commented.

Naruto slammed the vase back on the shelf, placing a hand on his hip. "Come on, there's gotta be something in here that you like."

"Doubt it." Sasuke sneered at a figurine of a smiling angel.

"Just look around, Sasuke." Naruto rolled his eyes and began his walk through the shelves again.

The pair walked around, Naruto pointing out things and Sasuke immediately denying him.

"We've looked at everything, Sasuke." Naruto groaned, leaning on top of a shelf. "There really isn't anything you like?"

Sasuke looked around before his eyes stopped at Naruto.

"If you try and use that stupid line on me again, I'm gonna scream." Naruto glared.

Sasuke just smirked before nodding his head at him. "I like that painting next to you."

Naruto blinked before standing up and looking at the shelf he was just leaning on. He picked up the painting and smiled. It was a painting of an autumn forest, lots of orange and reds. "Perfect! Now we're finally getting somewhere. We'll have to check out more stores too."

Sasuke let out a groan as they reached the register. Naruto placed the painting on the counter, flashing the cashier a smile. "I don't even know why I'm paying for these." He handed his credit card to the cashier, giving him a glare. He turned back to look at Naruto. "I don't even want these."

Naruto ignored the grumbling raven, grabbing the bag and then Sasule's hand. He dragged them out of the store and pointed in the direction of the food court. "Let's go, I'm hungry."

Sasuke let out a sigh but let himself be dragged. "We just got here."

"Yeah but you took forever to decide on ONE thing." Naruto retorted, holding up the bag. He looked around the food court before deciding where to eat, getting in line and ordering.

Sasuke gave him a shrug, shoving his hands back in his pocket. "Not my fault they had ridiculous stuff there."

They waited for the food before making their way to an empty table and sitting down. Naruto looked over his food, licking his lips. He smiled brightly up at the raven. "Looks delicious."

Sasuke smirked in response.

There was a loud squeal and they looked up to see a woman waving wildly at them. Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Karen?"

Naruto turned a questioning gaze at him. "Karen? Who's Karen?"

Before Sasuke could answer, the red-head stopped at the table. She smiled brightly at the raven, then gave him a seductive look. "Sasuke," she drawled. "What are you up to?"

"I'm out with my boyfriend." He replied, his tone bored. He took a bite of his food.

"Boyfriend?!" She screeched, taking a step back in shock. She sent the blonde a glare before stomping closer to him. "What kind of boyfriend are you? I'm the only love interest Sasuke needs! You're just some stu-" she stopped mid sentence, looking him up and down. She narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "You look really familiar."

"I don't know who you are. Sasuke never said one thing about you." Naruto taunted, a smirk on his face.

Karin stayed quiet before a look of recognition dawned on her face. "Yeah! I do know you! You're from the club, those dra-"

She was suddenly cut off as a tan hand covered her mouth, Naruto suddenly standing up, giving her a glare. "Shut the fuck up and get out of here." Naruto hissed out so only she could hear. He let go of her, slowly sitting back down.

Karin let out a huff, giving a flip of her hair. "If you had any sense, Sasuke, you'll come back to me once you leave him behind." She gave another flip of her hair before walking away.

Naruto glared after her retreating form before letting out a breath and then clearing his throat. He smiled at Sasuke. "So where were we before we were interrupted?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the blonde. "What was that about?"

Naruto shrugged. "Nothing. I don't even know her."

"Well she sure seemed to know you." Sasuke accused.

Naruto looked at him in shock, his mouth agape. "You seriously can't be jealous right now?"

"It sure looked like a whole lot of something."

Naruto let out a scoff. "Says the guy who's slept with half the city."

Sasuke shrugged. "At least I'm honest about it."

Naruto let out a growl, feeling a surge of anger. "I am being honest! I don't. Know who. She is."

"Sure, okay. And what about that guy you were dancing in the club with?" Sasuke once again narrowed his eyes at the blonde.

"Are you serious right now?!" Naruto scowled. "It was one fucking dance and we weren't even together yet." Naruto sucked his teeth and stood up, feeling annoyed.

"Where are you going?" Sasuke demanded as Naruto began to walk away.

"Fuck off, Sasuke." Naruto threw over his shoulder. "You probably wouldn't believe me anyways!"

Sasuke sneered as he watched the blonde walk away, disappearing from his sight. He crossed his arms over his chest, sitting and glaring at Naruto's plate of food.

After some time, Sasuke felt himself becoming calm. He took a deep breath and stood up. He knew he was being irrational. He began to make his way to the front of the mall, grabbing the painting. Hopefully Naruto would be there waiting.

As he reached the front of the building, he spotted Naruto about to climb into Gaara's car. "Naruto!" He called out.

The blonde ignored him, continuing to get into the car and slammed the passenger door shut.

"Naruto, wait!" Sasuke called out again, running to try and catch up to the car before Gaara got too far.

"Leave him alone, Uchiha!" Gaara called out the window, shooting the raven a glare before speeding off.

Sasuke slowed, feeling defeated. "Fuck." He muttered as Gaara's car disappeared from sight. He let out a sigh and began to make his way to his car, ready to go home.

Later that night, Sasuke still hasn't heard from Naruto. He felt hungry and wished the blonde was there to cook something. He walked to the fridge, opening it and digging around. He smiled to himself as he pulled out some leftovers that Naruto made the other day.

He warmed it up before sitting at the table and taking a bite. "Mm." He smiled to himself as he enjoyed the taste. He savored the taste of each bite and soon he was finished. He sat back in his seat and looked at the bag that was sitting on the counter.

"Might as well hang it up." Sasuke mumbled to himself. He stood up and walked over to the bag, taking the painting out.

He found a spot in his living room, next to a window. He began to look around for a hook and hammer to begin to hang it up. It took him a moment to get it perfect, but he stepped back, admiring his work. "It really does make a difference." He chuckled to himself.

He let out a sigh. "I better call him." He went into his bedroom, and pulled out his cellphone, sitting on the edge of his bed. He quickly dialed Naruto's number but it was soon sent to voicemail.

"Hey Naruto," the raven started as soon as he heard the beep. "I just finished hanging up that painting and I hate to admit it, but you were right." He let out a laugh, running his hand through his hair. "It really is beginning to make this place feel like home. And having the smell of your cooking through my apartment. Even you just keeping me warm by my side at night. It all feels like home." He let out a long sigh. "I'm really sorry, Naruto. I miss you, please call me back." The voicemail cut him off before he could say anything else.

With a long defeated sigh, he threw his cellphone to the side before getting up and preparing for a cold night alone in his bed.

oOooOooo

Hello everyone! Another update and lots of drama. I've kinda been on a roll with writing chapters but I also don't want to jinx it. I've been sick with covid so some days it's been a struggle.

As always, if you liked it, please favorite and review!
