Sasuke found himself on Thursday morning in a meeting he never even remembered going to. The past week since his fight with Naruto left him feeling lost and lonelier than before. He didn't know how he got through this past week, living each day in some sort of a haze. He let out a sigh, slouching in his seat.

Neji shot him a glare without turning his head. The look went unnoticed by the raven as he continued to slouch further into his chair.

Itachi glanced at his little brother and mentally rolled his eyes at his unprofessionalism. He cleared his throat before directing his attention to him. "Sasuke."

Sasuke let out an audible growl before grabbing at his hair. "I don't know, Itachi!"

All eyes were on the younger Uchiha as he stood up suddenly, his chair toppling over at the sudden movement.

"Just leave me alone!" He yelled out, storming his way out of the meeting room and heading towards his office.

The room broke out into whispers and Itachi glanced at Neji who gave him a brief nod. Itachi nodded his own head in response before clearing his throat loudly. "Well I think that should conclude our meeting for today." He smiled politely to the room as he waited for everyone, except for Neji, to gather their belongings and leave.

As soon as the room was empty. Itachi let out a long sigh, placing both hands on top of the desk and giving Neji a tired look. "Alright, let's go see what's wrong with my little brother, huh?"

Neji snickered before standing up and the two made their way up to Sasuke's office.

Sasuke slammed his door closed, not concerned as a picture tilted from the force of the slam. He stomped his way over to his desk where he fell into his seat, letting out a frustrated breath. He leaned forward, his elbows resting atop the desks surface, and pulled frustratingly at his hair.

He didn't know how long he was sitting there when suddenly his door opened. He suspected it was Neji and his brother, whoever it was, he didn't care. "Go away."

"Are you serious right now?" The calm, angry tone of his older brother's voice had Sasuke briefly glancing up to confirm that it was Neji and Itachi. "Do you know just how important that meeting was? And for you to just storm out like a child?! What is wrong with you?!" The volume of his voice grew with each word.

Sasuke said nothing, his gaze on the top of his desk. He sneered at a piece of paper. He felt tears begin to prickle at the corner of his eyes, he mentally cursed his current emotional state

Itachi let out an audible growl at the lack of response from his younger brother. Without warning, he reached over the desk and pulled at Sasuke's hair, forcing him to look into his angry, onyx eyes.

Both Neji and Itachi gasped in shock. Sasuke glared back, a steady trail of tears flowing from his eyes. "Sasuke." Neji whispered before quickly making his way to the raven's side. "Are you okay?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes and tore away from Itachi's grip on his hair. He wiped at his eyes and gave a quick sniff. He then narrowed his eyes in a glare at Neji. "Do I fucking look okay?"

Neji let out a defeated sigh and gave a roll of his own eyes. "Alright, let me try that again." He replied in a bored tone. He cleared his throat. "What's wrong?"

Sasuke kept his glare on Neji before he let out a slow breath and kept his gaze back on his desk. "Naruto."

Itachi perked up, grabbing a chair from the side of the office and pulling it up in front of Sasuke's desk. "Oh no, what happened with our dear Naruto?"

Sasuke mentally rolled his eyes at the concern Itachi displayed when it came to Naruto. He'd brush it off for now. A defeated sigh escaped his lips as he leaned back in his seat. "We got into a fight over the weekend."

"And so what?" Neji snorted. "You two are always fighting."

Sasuke shook his head, letting out a long sigh. "This time was different. I didn't," he ran his hand through his hair. "I didn't trust in Naruto's words. I thought he was lying to me. He tried to tell me the truth but I refused to listen."

Itachi shook his own head, making a disappointed sound. "Oh, foolish little brother."

Sasuke shot his brother a glare before letting out another disappointed sigh. "I've been trying to call him every night but he doesn't answer the phone. I've even been going to Ichiraku, hoping I'd get a chance to talk with him there but even the owner says he hasn't been there."

"Well yeah," Neji chimed in. "Him and Gaara have been out of town for a few days."

Sasuke's head shot up as his eyes widened to stare at Neji. "What?"

Neji gave him a sheepish look. "Yeah, Gaara told me they were going to visit his parents, it was a spur of the moment visit so I can only assume it was Naruto's idea to get away.

Sasuke said nothing, the overwhelming feeling of disappointment flooding over him.

Neji frowned at Sasuke's somber expression and placed his hand on top of the raven's shoulder. "Once we get to the club, we can grab a few drinks and have a good night. Take your mind off of things."

Sasuke sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes. "I don't want to go." He crossed his arms over his chest. "I think I'll just go home and try calling Naruto some more."

"I don't think so." Itachi said sternly, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against Sasuke's desk. "You going home and obsessing over this is not helpful to you or Naruto. If you keep calling him, you may just drive him away."

Realization hit him like a ton of bricks and his eyes widened. He hated to admit it, but Itachi was right. He was acting like those annoying people he slept with. The face of Karen, or was it Karina, flashed through his mind and he let out a shudder. "You know what?" He looked up at both Itachi and Neji. "You're actually right." He sat up in his seat as a slow smirk spread over his face. He glanced at Neji, a determined gleam in his eyes. "I'll go out tonight."

"That's the spirit!" Neji exclaimed.

"Good to hear, little brother." Itachi smiled before making his way out of the office.

"Oh, I almost forgot, Sasuke." The upper half of Itachi's form appeared in front of the doorway, a small smile on his face. Sasuke and Neji both raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to continue. "I'm going to need you to write me a report on that meeting by the end of the day, thank you."

Sasuke blinked and the elder Uchiha disappeared. A scowl spread over his lips and he let out an audible growl. "Asshole."

Neji rolled his eyes before giving Sasuke a bored look. "Don't worry, I'll email you a brief summary of what happened."

Sasuke smirked, leaning forward on his desk. "Thank you, work wife."

Neji sent him a glare before flipping him off as he made his way to leave the office.

Later that evening, Sasuke stepped out of his car, straightening his shirt as he made his way inside the club. Despite his initial feelings, the longer the day progressed, the more excited he was to go out and enjoy himself.

He made his way to the back of the club, heading to their usual table. As he approached, he was surprised to only see Gaara sitting there, alone. He glanced around, hoping to spot the bright blonde hair he was so use to seeing, but no such luck.

"Gaara." He demanded as he slid into the seat quickly directly next to the red-head. "Where is Naruto?"

"Don't worry," Gaara's tone was bored as he played with the glass in his hand, not meeting Sasuke's gaze. "He got your apology and the other hundreds of pathetic voicemails you left for him." He looked up to see Sasuke begin to blush, his lips pulling up into a smirk. "Naruto will see you when he's ready to."

Sasuke frowned in disappointment at Gaara's words. He watched Gaara closely as he took a sip of his drink. He opened his mouth only to be interrupted by Sakura and Ino placing themselves in-between them, greeting them to say hello. Sasuke said his greetings quickly, hoping to still catch Gaara's attention, wanting to continue the conversation, when the rest of the group followed behind the pair. He let out a disappointed sigh a Neji showed up, Gaara giving him his full attention.

Sasuke sat back in his seat, looking around at the table, starting to feel jealous as he realized he was surrounded by couples. He felt a scowl begin to form, beginning to regret coming out.

"Hey." Suigetsu placed a hand on the raven's shoulder, causing onyx eyes to send a glare his way. "I can see that bitter jealousy in your eyes." He teased, giving him a playful smirk. "I get it, I'm in the same boat. You know," here he licked his lips, his eyes giving him a seductive glint. "The two of us could always have fun."

Sasuke let out a groan as his head hit the table with a light slam. "I can't do this." He stood up from his chair and made his way to Neji and Gaara. "Neji." He called the brunettes name as he casually placed his hands in his pocket. Lavender eyes turned toward him. "I'm going to head out, I'm just not feeling this."

"Oh Sasuke, come on." Neji turned to face him. "You've barely been here twenty minutes. The drag show hasn't even started yet."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "And? I've never cared before."

Without warning, Neji grabbed onto Sasuke's arm, pulling him down harshly. The raven hissed as he landed back into his empty seat. He sent the brunette a glare as he rubbed the spot that Neji had grabbed him. Neji sent him a glare back. "You are going to have fun, even if it kills you. Now stay sitting and shut up." He stood up. "I'll grab you a beer."

Sasuke sucked his teeth as Neji walked away. The club got silent and Sasuke turned towards the stage to see that the drag was about to start. He rolled his eyes and began to tune out the voice of the announcer, crossing his arms over his chest. His eyes roamed the club and landed on a particular good-looking face. He began to smirk to himself as old habits began to come back to him.

"Now, welcome to the stage, Naruko!" Onyx eyes widened at the name, it couldn't be. His gaze slowly made its way to the stage where the spotlight was directed on the closed red curtain. His heartbeat quickened in anticipation as he waited for this 'Naruko' to appear on stage.

A soft song began to play and the curtains opened to reveal a long blonde-haired woman, her hair done up in pigtails. Dressed in a blue and white gingham sundress, she gave the crowd a playful smile before swaying her hips gently to the song, lip syncing to the song.

Sasuke stood up from his seat, she was beautiful and if it wasn't for the distinct whisker-like birthmarks that made him know it was Naruto, he would've fallen in-love right then and there. He began to slowly make his way to the stage, entranced by the movements of the beautiful blonde before him. He pushed past the excited crowd to make it almost near the front when those beautiful, cerulean eyes locked onto his.

For the rest of the song and performance, the two kept their eyes on each other, feeling like the only two in the room. The song came to an end, and Naruko kept her eyes on him until the announcer came back to the stage. Without missing a beat, Naruko looked back out into the crowd, blowing a kiss and heading backstage.

The hypnotic hold the blonde had on him was broken and he quickly turned and made his way to the back of the club where he could get access to the dressing rooms. Ignoring the chaotic state of the dressing rooms and backstage area, he looked around until he saw a door that was shut, a piece of tape labeled 'Naruko' on the door. With determination in his steps, Sasuke opened the door without knocking.

Naruko looked up, already knowing there was only one person who would just barge into a room like that. He gave a blank stare into the mirror, staring into onyx eyes.

"Naruko." Sasuke whispered. "Or should I say, Naruto?"
