Yeah, that encounter didn't end well at all. Minerva didn't know what Dumbledore was going to get out it. He had absolutely no ground to stand on. They didn't know who he was. They were muggles.

Immediately the two kids were hushed out of the room while Minerva and Dumbledore stood on the porch. They weren't let in so they had to stand. He tried to get his way in with a little charisma and it nearly worked but when he mentioned Harry, the man stiffed up.

Then the woman came and chewed him out saying if he knew about Harry he should have came earlier. Not a single look of guilt or shame was behind his eyes. He just got more annoyed.

By the end with a good bye never come back the doors closed. Dumbledore breathes in and out of his nostrils flaring them.

With aggravation clear, he muttered, "Screw it, those people care for him, who cares if he's attacked by death eaters, he doesn't need to be alive or anything."

Dumbledore walked away and Minerva followed. He kept muttering all the way about deaths eaters, Voldemort, and his dahmmed reputation. How he should just live the rest of his life with Grindelwald in his prison cell.

When he got to the wife of the house, he set off a forget and notice me not charm then apparated with Minerva still following. She was just listening to the muttering not wanting to get into another argument. Her anger and annoyance has softened with worry for the world if Grindelwald and Dumbledore got back together.

What didn't help her state of mind is that she saw the Austrian flag, the country with his prison in it.

"Minerva, leave me here, the people want me behind bars so I'm giving them what they want," said Dumbledore.

Minerva rose her eyebrows. She always forgot how dramatic this man could be. "No, you are not, you don't give up that easy for anything, plus, you wouldn't be able to get your socks."

"I usually don't but I'm hated at all sides at the moment and I need to be away for it to cool off." Dumbledore made a box with his hands.

"They are just going to get worse with you gone, they will go on a man hunt for either you or Harry, could you do that to the poor boy?" Logic with a mix of guilt is typically a good route to go for convincing someone.

If that someone wasn't Dumbledore, "I'm done, if they're so ungrateful for all the years, no decades, of service and help I've provided for them then they can rot."

"This bad thing is pretty big, the people feel like they've been lied to, and it doesn't feel good, I feel betrayed too." Minerva was letting more of the softness of an old friend deep into her voice. Hoping that would do more good than the harsh tone she's been using.

They've been walking the entire conversation since Austria. And not in a direction she likes. She may not a geography nut but it feels like they're walking towards the prison. Just, something in the air.

"I'm sorry you feel betrayed, it was for the greater good, if people can't see after all this time how my plans typically work out in the end then I can't lead them without trust." He knew the logic game, he's played it plenty of times before.

"You aren't actually going to joint Grindelwald, are you?" She just wanted to check to make sure. She can see him walking right in and not leaving.

The idea seemed very appealing. A good solid plan B. He needs to make a plan A first though. The whole day seemed to just be getting his bearings.

He stopped walking toward the prison.

"No, I won't join him now. I'm going to pull every favor I can or do plan something so distracting they forget about this." Said Dumbledore.

He pulled a manic grin that worried Minerva.

Minerva said, "I don't like that look of yours."

"You won't like this plan either."

She got angry sick of not getting the full picture. "Tell me right now or I'm going to hand you into the authorities."

He put his hand on his wand and took a step back ready to escape. "Do you know who the Potters Secret Keeper was?"

She was was edge with her hand on her want. In a careful tone, "Yes, it was Sirius Black."

He knew this might be a breaking point for her but he knew she could help with this. "No, it was Peter Pettigrew."

She stood straight and her eyes went blank. She breathed silently as she stared at him. He never left his position waiting for it. Knowing it would come.

"WHY THE BLOODY HELL IS SIRIUS IN AZKABAN THEN"

Even being prepared, he still flinched. He tried to explain, "Because I can't prove he's innocent but if I bring him with me back to London, then all the attention won't be on me, I can pay somebody to write a dozen articles on Black plus all the natural publicity he'll attract so there'll be less space for me."

She hated that his logic made sense. She was flexing her fist and grabbed her wand for something to hold onto.

"How're we going to get him out?" She asked. "You can't do it because it would scream of ulterior motives."

He started spitballing. "We can tell the press and get a band of people to protest for him or we can Amelia Bones, she has a strong sense of justice and finding out somebody didn't get a trial will disgust her, we can send her a direct letter."

"Yes, that would work."

"We must do it now, Minerva, can you write it?"

She shook her head but agreed none the less. They went to find paper and pen to write with. Dumbledore spoke while she wrote.

Amelia Bones

It has come to my attention that Sirius Black was not the Secret Keeper to the Potters cottage but instead Peter Pettigrew. Black also never received a trial. I hope this can be changed. This is a serious issue of lack of justice for a potentially innocent man.

Minerva reread it, "Do we really need the last part?"

"Yes, adds a sense of urgency on her part." He wanted to keep this moving so she didn't question why she was helping him. "You have to drop it off in her office or deliver it via Patronus."

"I'll deliver it right now to her office, stay here while I go."

He nodded his head as he watched her got to an apparition spot. As soon as she couldn't see him anymore, he ran the opposite direction and went to a separate spot.

Before he appirated, he covered himself with the invisibility cloak. He went to Azkaban to quickly break Sirius out knowing it would cause an even bigger stir if the criminal someone 'broke out'

When he arrived, he cast the patronus and told it a message to give to Sirius. The message was "Night Night". He planned to follow the patronus to Sirius cell.

He didn't run into any trouble mostly because he has access to this facility so no alarms went off. When he arrived to the cell he immediately knocked out Sirius and put a feather light charm on him. With the charm, Dumbledore could carry him.

He carried him underneath the cloak and cast another patronus.

When get got back outside, Dumbledore put him down and out of the cloak to appirate to Bones office. He stayed firmly underneath.

When he arrived, Amelia was double checking the claim Black never received a trial to find it was true. As soon as she began processing this, Sirius seemed to appear with a pop pop. She was so startled she jumped a foot in the air.

Dumbledore went back to the Austrian prison expecting Minerva to be there and red. Instead though, he came face to face with half a dozen Aurors.
