Finding Happiness Ch. 40

Jax called everyone in, they went on lockdown, until they knew who took Luna, they weren't going to take any chances with anyone else. The sun was rising over town, it had been several hours since Luna was taken, no calls, no demands, they called everyone they could, trying to figure out who would have an issue with the club to stage a kidnapping.

He watched Neeta feed Abel, he was glad that she was willing to come to the clubhouse, she didn't ask questions, but trusted it was best for her safety. Looking around the room he could see everyone was in different moods, some sadness, most rage, racking his brain he honestly couldn't think of what or who, and her message made no sense to him.

By night fall Jax was ready to start setting the world on fire, if she was harmed in anyway, the level of brutality that he would bring upon on them would be biblical.

Liz was sitting around, staring at the Wall of Fame. By this point she memorized the all the mug shot numbers. She knew that it was the right thing to do to run with the baby, but it didn't make her feel any better. As she looked over the mug shots for the millionth time, she felt someone next to her, looking up she could see Happy staring at her.

He watched her; he could tell that she was restless. He didn't know why but felt like he needed to check on her. He watched her body as he approached, she was aware of her surroundings. "You doing OK?" he asked.

Letting out a sigh. "No. Not really." Closing her eyes, she didn't want to cry she needed to hope that Luna would get in contact with them.

"She's going to be alright, she's a scrappy little thing." he said to her.

Opening her eyes again, she wanted to roll her eyes and tell him she knew that, but Liz knew that he was trying to be kind. "I know. It was the right thing to get the baby here, Luna would never have forgiven me if something happened to Abel." Inhaling deeply, "I just wish I paid more attention to the SUV in front of the house, gotten plate number or at least the type of SUV. But I was so focused on getting Abel to safety, I didn't even look." Liz was going to beat herself up for that for a long time.

Not knowing what else to do, he put his arm around her, it always seemed to have helped Luna when she was feeling bad. "Not your fault. Abel was the priority in that moment."

Liz was shocked when he put his arm around her, it did feel nice. "I know, but thanks for saying it."

Otto was holding Luann in their dorm; he could feel his wife crying. "She's going to be OK. That girl is smart she'll figure something out." he said trying to reassure her. Mostly trying to convince himself.

Wiping her eyes, "Why didn't she put up a struggle, something?" Luann knew that Luna could take care of herself, she just couldn't figure it out.

She wasn't the only one that asked that, but his only explanation to them and now Luann, "I'm guessing they had guns on her. She probably was just probably trying not to get shot."

Nodding into her husband's chest, "I can see that. Did she leave a clue or anything?" she asked.

"Yea, she was trying to text Jax, we think she didn't have enough time to send it or hit the wrong button." Otto and the rest of the club didn't understand, so the going assumption that she hit the wrong key.

"Really? What was it?" Luann asked.

Rubbing his beard, "A green clover." Before he could elaborate, a knock on the door got his attention. "Yea?"

Phil was on the other side, "Jax wants everyone in CHURCH."

Kissing his wife, "I'll be back as soon as I can." With that he opened the door and walked past the prospect.

Luann felt restless, looking at the clock on the wall, Otto was in CHURCH this entire time, no news, she figured they were going to stay in there all night, trying to get any information. Picking up her phone, she started going through her text messages from Luna, she couldn't help but laugh at most of it, she was constantly sending her meme's as she told her it was called. Sighing, she wondered, she opened her text and found the faces, looking through them. She didn't know what she was looking for but figured she could see if she could find it, it probably wouldn't mean anything, but didn't hurt to look.

After about 10 minutes of going through all the faces and animals, she found the clover, it was a 4-leaf clover. Why would she try to send this? Staring at it, she felt like this had to mean something, Luna wouldn't have wasted a text on this if it didn't mean anything. Taking herself out to the bar, she wanted a drink, taking a seat she had the prospect pour her one. "Hey, kid, where's Gemma?" she asked.

Phil looked at Otto's wife, "Um, I think she's in her dorm with Abel. She wanted to make sure that he got some sleep."

Nodding, that made sense. Taking her shot of whiskey, she looked around the clubhouse, she could see a few people milling about, "Donna in the dorm as well?"

Nodding. "I believe so. You are the only Old Lady out here. Sorry. Do you want me to go get them for you?" He asked.

Shaking her head. "No." With that Luann went outside, it was close to 7pm, Luna has been missing close to 17hrs. Sitting on at the picnic table, she stared at the moon, it was starting to rise higher in the sky. She stayed outside another hour, but her ass was hurting, standing up, she looked up at the moon, she felt that she was missing something, taking another look at her phone, she pulled the clover back up. Looking at the image for another few minutes, it hit her like a freight train. "OMG."

Running as fast as she could, she ran straight into CHURCH, she knew she might catch some shit, but she didn't fucking care. Stumbling through the doors, she could see the guys looking at her like she was nuts. Not letting them speak, "She was trying to send a 4-leaf clover, right? She was telling you it was the IRISH, clover, IRISH. Someone from the IRISH has her." she breathed out.

As the words left her mouth the guys all looked at each other, Otto looked at his wife. Turning to Jax, "Jimmy has been pushing a trying to push a deal on you, you turned him and Cameron down twice."

Chibs cursed. "Fucking bastard," looking at Jax, "He's capable of it, he took Fi from me, and gave me these for my troubles." Pointing to his scars.

Clay looked around the table, "Sounds right, but," looking at Jax, who was on the verge of snapping, "we need to get confirmation on Jimmy's status with the Kings, we go after him and he's protected they will come and bring war to the SONs."

Bobby the voice of reason, "We need to reach out to someone that we can trust that would know if he is on the outs with the KINGS." Looking at Chibs, "Don't you have a nephew plugged into the IRA?" he asked.

"Aye. Padraic." Standing up, he grabbed his phone from the bar. Walking past Luann, giving her a quick kiss on her temple. "Ya did good Lass." Dialing the number, he waited for his nephew to pick up. After the 3rd ring, he answered.

"It's 4am, better be important."
"Paddy, I need your help."
"Oye, wut is it?"
"Jax's old lady has been kidnapped, we have suspicions on Jimmy. Need to know if it's possible, and if he's protected?"
"No shit, Jimmy has been excommunicated. Give me a few. Need to speak to the powers above me."

Disconnecting the call, he turned to the boys. "Jimmy is excommunicated."

Jax stood up ready to do what he had to find her, Chibs understood the need to kill, "Hold on Jackie boy, Paddy iz contact'n someone up the chain. We need blessings and such." he said.

Growling out his frustrations, he cursed "They have an hour, after that, I don't fucking care, I'll scorch the earth to find her." Sitting back down, he lit another cig, he needed something to calm him. Anything at this point, he wanted a drink, but he had to stay focused.

Liz heard everything, the door to CHURCH was wide open. She wanted so bad to leave the clubhouse and start looking for Luna, but she didn't even know where to start. She didn't know anyone other than Luna in this town, and she sure as shit didn't know anyone in Ireland. Turning her eyes back against the wall, she stared, by now she could close her eyes and tell you the order and what row each picture was on. Like everyone else, she was feeling angry and helpless. A small tear escaped and slid down her face. Shaking it off. She'd cry when Luna was safe.

Chibs stared at his phone, willing it to ring. After another 20 minutes of waiting, his phone went off.

"Yea?"
"Hello Filip, Kellan Ashby."
"What do you know, Father?"
"Had Cameron and a team pick up Fiona and Kerrianne, they are safe."
"I appreciate that Father, but what about Jimmy?"
"Fiona shared his location, he's about hour outside of Charming. You have the blessing of the KINGS to handle it as you see fit." Disconnecting the call.
"Father?"

A second later coordinates came in via text. Chibs smiled, "Got the location."

Jax stood up, "Strap up boys."

Soon the SONs were rolling out towards Luna. Come hell or high water they were going to bring her home.

Ow. My head. Opening her eyes, she could see that she was in a warehouse. Feeling her arms, they were tired to a chair. Not wanting to bring attention yet that she was awake, she surveyed her surroundings.

There were 2 men, with their backs to her, she recognized the one with red hair, he's the one that stuck her in the neck with something. Fucking bastard. The one standing next to him was the boss.

Shaking her head from the fog, she thought back on the moment they entered her home. When they kicked her door open, she couldn't fight them, the boss had a gun pointed at her head.

She watched as they searched the house, looking for Abel, sending a silent prayer to whoever was listening that Liz was able to get him out of here. The one with the gun smirked at her.

Luna held her phone by behind her back, as he turned to see where his companion was, she attempted to send a text Jax, but she didn't have the ability to see if it sent. Dropping to the floor she kicked it under the couch. Hoping when the guys came looking for her, they'd see it, and get what she was trying to say.

"And who might you be lassie?"

She figured the more she complied for now, she'd be safe. "Luna."

"Luna, such a lovely name, you're not the nanny, who are you love?" he asked.

She knew that she couldn't lie, because if they felt that they didn't have someone important, they would try again for Abel. Playing into his need to scare her, she swallowed, "No, Jax Teller's Old Lady."

Jimmy smiled, "Well, I was hoping for baby Teller, Jax has been naughty, I guess I'll just take you instead." He indicated to the man with the red hair, and she felt a slight pinch in her neck. Feeling herself fall, she vowed that when she had an opportunity, she'd kill them both.

Coming back to her current situation, she could see the SUV outside, it was the same one that was outside her house. Surprised they didn't dump it.

Listening carefully, she could make out that they were trying to leave the country with her, somewhere in South America. That was bad, the moment she left California, it would be next to impossible for the club to find her. She knew that she had to get out of here.

She watched as they moved, clocking that they didn't have their weapons on them, but she could see across the small warehouse there were several guns. Resisting the urge to snort, they didn't think that she wasn't capable of escaping. She just needed them near her. Looking down she could see that the chair she was in was a cheap wood, and her legs weren't tied. A plan formed in her mind, it was risky, but if she didn't try, she'd be halfway across the world before she got a chance to escape.

Taking a deep breath, she rolled her neck stretching out the kinks, focusing on the men in front of her, she dropped her head, letting out a moan.

"OW." Lifting her head, she could see the noise got their attention. Acting scared she tried pulling on the ropes, "What are you doing, let me go." she cried out.

Jimmy smiled and indicated for his man to follow him. "Well, you're awake, you were out for almost a whole day. Too much lorazepam eh." His voice so confident.

She watched as they got closer, she needed just one of them to get within striking distance. Keeping her body relaxed, she turned on the waterworks, "What do you want with me?"

Jimmy felt that he won, there was no harm in sharing some of his plan. "You lassie, are going to be insurance for Jax to behave, I need to go on a little vacation, bad men are trying to find me, I need the money he makes me. You're going to make sure that he follows orders." Everything was going according to plan.

She needed him closer, the only way he would do that is he lost his temper. Setting her jaw, "Let me go Lucky Charms, and perhaps I'll keep Jax from cutting your tongue out of your mouth." she taunted.

Jimmy got pissed, walking over to her he back handed her. "I'm trying to be a gentleman, keep trying my patience lassie, and I'll be less honorable." Lifting her chin, locking his eyes with her, "You're beautiful, I could find many ways to keep you compliant."

Luna understood the inference. She couldn't help but smirk up at him, "Is that they only way you can get a woman to stick around? Is that what keeps Fiona in line?" She said.

Seeing red, he went to hit her again, but the pain that shot up his leg stopped him.

She watched as he telegraphed his motion to hit her again, as his hand went up, she kicked him dead center of his knee, cracking the kneecap, as he hunched over, she brought her head up hitting him the just under the chin, which sent him to the ground. She could see his partner make a move towards her, jumping and rolling the chair she was able to get upright enough and bring herself and the chair down on his foot, breaking the top of it. Bringing her head back she her the crunch of his nose breaking. Standing she turned on heels and kicked him hard in the stomach towards Jimmy, causing him to fall over. She could see that they were both on the floor, running at them she used his back and did a front somersault and landing the chair on the back breaking into pieces, she quickly shimmed out of the broken chair and the ropes that were holding it together.

Now that her hands were free, she could see the red head stand first, bringing her fist up she brought a devastating right hook, causing him to hit the ground, taking her foot she put it on the back of his neck bringing it down to the floor, effectively knocking him out.

She could hear Jimmy getting up, and he was heading towards the guns. Running, she jumped on his back and wrapped her hands around his neck putting him in a choke hold. Surprisingly he was able to flip her off and onto the ground, she rolled out of the way as he tried to stomp on her face, swinging her foot at his stomach she hit him, and he took several steps back.

Jimmy was scared, he needed to get to his gun. "I'm going to kill you bitch."

Standing between him and the guns, "You first you Irish prick."

She watched as he attempted to orient himself, swinging wild she blocked his first hit, but he got a good hit on her face, she stumbled back, she could see that he was getting smug. Focusing her eyes on his shoulders, she could see that he was coming back with the same move, as he swung at her, she ducked and missed the first one, stepping back for the second punch, which threw his center of gravity off, grabbing his arm, she jumped and wrapped her legs around it, using her body to flip him over himself, causing him to hit the ground hard. Twisting her body over his she straddled him and brought her fist down two times on his face. Seeing his eyes roll in the back of his head she knew that he was passed out.

Standing up, she looked around making sure that there weren't any more threats, turning her eyes towards the guns, before she could take a step the doors blew off and people came running in. Holding her hands up not wanting to get shot.

Quickly recognizing it was the SONs. Seeing Jax standing in front. "JAX!"

Jax hearing his name, looked up and saw that Luna was running towards him, opening his arms as she jumped into them.

Wrapping her legs around his waist, she was so happy that he was here, looking into his eyes, she was over come with joy, unable to contain stop herself, she kissed him, needed to feel him, and letting him know that she was safe.
