Peter Parker and Joline Wang officially traded each other's number just a week after they met. Joline had been the one who made the idea, since they were neighbors and all.

She actually sighed as she took in his phone.

"What have you done to this wonderful, beautiful piece of technology?" She muttered as she typed in her number. His phone had more cracks than before. "You must be super clumsy,"

Peter awkwardly looked away in shame and typed his own number to her phone. It was the newest model of Stark Phone! It had just released just a little over two months ago, and the price was still in the high.

He stopped typing to think.

One, she's apparently an orphan. Doesn't really look like she got adopted too.

Two, she has quite the amount of money to be able to redecorate her apartment like this.

Three, she says she usually wakes up early and doesn't sleep much because of her work. Peter never saw her do anything since she's usually in her apartment. And when she does, she's gone, like there were no traces of her in this Earth.

She's very mysterious...

It was the 5 PM on the 15th of December when Joline spam-texted Peter while he was doing his usual friendly-neighboorhood Spider-Man duties and had to stop and reply.

Joline:

Hello Peter...

Are you there???

Hello...?

Peter!!!

Peter:

I'm here

Did you forget to turn off the oven again?

Joline:

No!

And it was one time!!!

Peter actually laughed, and sat down on the ledge of a roof. Joline had given her apartment key for Peter in case emergencies like her forgetting to turn off the oven happened. The two (mainly Peter) joke around about the incident from time to time.

Joline:

Ugh, I can hear u laughing from miles away.

Peter:

Sorry. What do you need?

Joline:

Are you free tonight?

Other than his Spider-Man duties, not really.

Peter

Yes... Why?

Joline:

Meet me at Lunt Fontanne Theatre at 6.

Wear something nice!!!

Peter:

What???

Joline:

It's an emergency!!!

Level 10

There's an Avenger's level threat!!!

Don't be late!!!

Peter:

Wait what

What emergency?

Hello?

Joline?

When she didn't reply, he had quickly went home and picked up his blazer, pants, and dress shirt. It was 40 Minutes to six, he had spent around 20 minutes swinging home. He had patrolled out of the usual area today, so it spent a little more time than usual.

He quickly put it on a bag and swung out of his apartment again, with his full costume, knowing it's around rush hour and his swinging was faster. The Lunt Fontanne Theatre was actually quite far in distance from their apartment in Queens.

Unluckily, Peter had to take down thugs in a shady alleyway quickly on the way, with him grumbling that he was going to be late.

Thankfully it didn't took too long, he webbed all of the thugs to the wall and called police with the nearest local phone (to not track him down, duh?) and swung away.

He landed on the rooftop across the theatre and went down to change in the alleyway. His uniform was still underneath his wrinkly clothes (he never irons them, doesn't have time to), and put his mask somewhere inside the inner pocket of his blazer.

He webbed the bag in the wall, knowing that he wont ever see it again anytime soon, and no one would take it since it was unreachable. There wasn't anything important there anyways... Hopefully.

He took out his phone and called Joline. She surprisingly answered quite quickly this time, albeit being a little out of breath. Must've been the cold weather. It had been slightly colder than usual since it was already Winter. Snow was falling slightly.

"Hello? Peter! It's almost six, you got to hurry!" Joline answered through the phone.

"I'm already here, Joline," He also said a little bit out of breath, buttoning his dress shirt on the way.

"...That was oddly fast." She whispered to herself, and Peter couldn't help but cough.

"I- Uhh, I had something to do earlier and was already wearing something nice. It was just along the way." He reasoned.

"I thought you were free?"

Peter gulped. "W-Well yeah, I have just done something earlier. I-It was a perfect coincidence!" He cringed to himself. That was a horrible counter.

"Pfft, whatever. As long as you're on time, it doesn't matter." She breathed, "Also, where are you right now?"

"I'm crossing the street- Be just there in a second!" He answered. Just as he did, he managed to cross the street safely and jogged a little.

"Oh, I see you now. Hey!" Joline said through the phone.

It was oddly crowded in front of the theatre, and Peter was trying to find Joline amidst the nicely dressed bodies. He scowled to himself that he should've iron his clothes first, since he got around 5 minutes to spare.

As his eyes searched through the crowd, it had seemed like it parted like the red sea in his favor, and Joline-

Holy heck. That's Joline?

Peter's jaw dropped as he saw Joline, a nicely dressed Joline, waving at him as she disconnected their call. Peter stopped walking in front of her and couldn't seem to talk as he tried to breathe.

"I- Uh--" He tried to speak, but no words came out of his mouth.

Joline looked pretty.

He snapped out of his thoughts.

"Really? You just broke up with your ex-girlfriend not long ago, what the heck, Peter?!" He thought to himself.

"But Joline does look pretty though..." He didn't deny.

Joline was wearing an off shoulder burgundy dress that fell just a few centimeters above her knee. She was also wearing matching red blocked heels that elevated her height. She was about his height now, but he was still taller than her by a little bit. Her hair was in her usual waves, but she tied it in a low puffy ponytail.

For accessories whe wore golden earrings. They were shaped like a flower branch. It went up to her helix and behind her ear, making her look elegant and beautiful. She also wore a simple golden flower necklace that matches her earpiece, along with golden bracelets and a few rings. She was also carrying a medium sized clutch.

Peter never really realized it before but Joline was actually very pretty. Her make up was done very simple, there was not much of a difference between her usual self and now. Just a little bit of touch up.

"I took the color combo from Iron Man," She said proudly, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Uh yeah! You look great by the way," He complimented. Joline replied with a cute giggle.

"You look dashing as well..." She trailed off, noting the wrinkles.

"Sorry," He apologized, trying to tidy his wrinkles to no results. Joline chuckled again and patted him on the back.

"It's okay, you can only see them if you're this close anyways." She smiled.

Peter gulped as he realized they were actually standing pretty close. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.

"Uh, why'd you ask me to come here anyways?" He asks, truly wondering. Joline smirked and pulled two slips of paper from her clutch.

"I got two tickets to watch Rogers the Musical!" She said excitedly.

"Aren't these expensive?" He blinked. "I can't--"

"I got these from someone, actually. Told me to 'enjoy the show'! So I thought, why not bring you with me?"

They both have nothing to do anyways.

They're the same.

"Okay but-"

"No but's!!! You're my partner for tonight, okay, Parker?" She said with a pout, pulling him along to wait in line.

He noticed that he was actually underdressed. People around him were wearing suits and dresses. And he was just there in a wrinkly suit.

Joline must have noticed him looking awkward and down, so she stopped walking. It made him stop as well.

"I knew you'll feel a little bit out of place, so I made you this," She pulled a little box from her clutch. She then opened the box to reveal golden collar chains that appear to match her accessories.

"I have to button this up," She asked for permission, which he nodded. Joline actually stopped to think for a moment then shook her head. She then worked her magic and put the collar chains on. She also took golden cufflinks from the little box and lifted his hands so she can put them on.

Peter watched as she put them on meticulously, fully concentrating. He turned to look a but into the mirror that the lobby had and he looked quite good. Joline had smoothed the wrinkles magically as well.

He also noticed how he fit into the dress shirt and blazer better now, having grown more muscle throughout the year. It felt less loose and more tighter and his whole outfit fit him well.

He looked back to Joline looking up at him in thought. Peter gulped again.

"Excuse me," She apologized, then ran her hands through his hair. They felt very soft when Joline combed her hands through his hair. She separated parts and styled his hair, and as she put her hands back down again he looked in the mirror in awe.

"Wow, he breathed. "Huh, I actually look decent now."

Joline only snorted at that.

"You've never looked at yourself in the mirror? You've always been beautiful." She complimented. The two went silent at that. Peter blushed and Joline suddenly gasped.

"Okay, let's just ignore that and go in." She said, turning around hiding the blush and walking inside.

Peter blinked as he stood there, still blushing.

As he noticed she started walking away more he quickly went over to her side.

Being the gentleman he is, he offered his arm. Glancing at him through the corner of her eye, she shyly linked her arm with his and walked inside smiling.

Peter couldn't help but smile as well.

The sight of Peter Parker and Joline Wang, fancily dressed as they ate at the McDonalds near the theatre was a sight.

They had gone hungry after the long musical. The restaurant near the area was quite expensive for them so they opted for McDonalds instead.

They got cheeseburgers, fries, nuggets, and McFlurries. They had two sodas for their drinks. Peter ate a lot of food because of his heightened metabolism, but he didn't expect for Joline to order that much as well.

As they munched through their food they discussed about the musical that they have seen.

"Can you believe it? How is there Ant-Man on the Battle of New York?!" She scoffed. "They didn't have their facts straight."

Peter nodded as he munched on his burger. His mind went back to goofy Scott Lang who told him how he went back in time to get the Tesseract in the battle of New York. He was actually there... But not really.

"The music is good though," He said.

"Yeah, I agree." She smiled and dipped her fries in her McFlurry.

As they continued to eat people didn't really pay mind to their outfit presence. It was New York. Unusual things happen.

They finished their food not long after and walked through the street, enjoying the night air. The two exchanged some corny jokes that made Joline laugh too hard. Their mindless walking eventually got them to Central Park, where they enjoyed the view.

As the night grew close to midnight and the air turn cold. Snow fell from the sky occassionally. He noticed Joline slightly shivering. She seem to forgot to wear a coat in this cold weather. He quickly took off his blazer and draped it on her.

"Thanks." She smiled softly, making his heart beat quicker. They kept walking for quite a long time. Joline was pretty admirable walking distances in those heels of hers.

"Thank you for inviting me, Joline. It was a fun night." Peter smiled.

"Thank you for accompanying me, Peter. It felt less lonely for me because of you." She said honestly, looking to the ground. Peter nodded at that.

They walked even more until he noticed Joline starts to talk slower. It was not long after that Joline yawned.

"It's already quite late, we should head back home." He commented. Joline nodded.

"The ticket actually came with a hotel." She explained dazedly, taking out a room card key. "I've been there earlier today. Have my stuff in it."

"Alright, let's go there."

Peter kept watching Joline walk in the corner if his eye, afraid that she'll pass out of exhaustion. When she almost stumbled, Peter with his Spidey-senses quickly caught her. She thanked him.

Not wanting her to suddenly stumble again, he offered his arm again which Joline accepted. She leaned her head on his neck as they walked through the streets to the hotel.

He gulped as he caught sight of a quite fancy hotel. Peter looked at Joline who had her eyes half shut from the light of the lobby and wondered how she'd manage to stay on a fancy hotel.

The room card key thankfully had a number on it. Peter got them to the floor and room, leading Joline carefully inside. It was a fancy room with a large, king-sized bed with a huge screen TV, along with a bar. One bottle of wine was already opened and was on top of the table, along with her laptop. A few of her stuff was tidily scattered around the room as well.

Joline must have drunk before they went to watch the musical.

He led her to the bed and made her sit down. He then helped her take off all of her accessories, which Joline half dazedly do. Peter put them all on the lamp table beside the bed and got down on one knee and helped her take off her shoe. He took off the straps and took the shoe out of her feet, and put them aside the bed.

Joline looked like she could pass out any moment as she slouched. Her hand took off the tie that held her low ponytail, and it flung somewhere around the room. Peter stood up to get it from the floor and went to put it amongst her acessories. He took off his cufflinks and collar chain as well, and put them with the acessories too.

He then turned back to Joline and stood eye level to her.

"Alright, I'll go home now Joline-- Woah!"

Peter stumbled as Joline pulled him onto the bed.

"J-Joline?!" He panicked. Joline had pulled him by the neck to the bed. She comfortably snuggled closer in the crook of his neck which made him gulp. His left arm was around her waist as his fast reflexes did in the fast moment.

"Warm..." Was all she said as her hold on Peter tightened. The blazer that was on her shoulders fell off, and Peter was the nearest heat source for her in the room.

"W-What? Joline... I need to go home," He panicked, trying to get her hold off him. She only clung to him tighter like a koala as she made herself comfortable on the bed.

Peter's eyes widened as he saw the red fabric of his mask peeking out of his blazer. He carefully took the blazer and chucked the mask inside more, and hoped Joline saw nothing.

"It... Has been... A long... Long... Time... Since I... Have slept... Heartily..." She said slowly through her breaths, now turning into a snore.

Peter stare at her wide eyed.

She did say she woke up early and rarely slept. She must've had insomnia.

He sighed and looked at the ceiling.

What have he gotten into?

He just hopes Joline won't claw inside his shirt. He still had his uniform on too.

Joline suddenly giggled, tickling him as her lips kissed his neck.

"Burnt... Pie..." She giggled, then snored again.

Peter actually snorted at her sleep talking and was reminded of the oven incident. She had left her oven running and burnt her pie. He had actuallt laughed and sent the picture to her, which she replied with over a hundred sad crying emojis.

He eventually closed his eyes and dozed to sleep as well, his arm comfortably around her waist.

What a night.

To Morgan, thank you again for your reviews! I truly have them planned already (hehe, great minds think alike) and can't wait to write them! I usually write each chapter then instantly post it, just writing and see where it goes. I do this for fun anyways. Hope you all like the chapter!

I also like to put references here and there. Hope you caught on a few in this chapter!

Also Joline's name is actually read like the name Jo-lene, but i like writing it like Joline better. Wang is read like Woo-ang not Woo-aeng, since it's a Chinese surname. She doesn't mind how you pronounce it though XD
