for the few who did like this story, you can thank our fickle friend writer's block for this. my brain is running around in circles trying to figure out how to send the story in the direction i want it to go (i'm at chapter 24), while working on another VERY different story(not going to be on this site, i'm having an english teacher review it and then trying to find a publisher.) and dealing with teachers who do not know how to check thier e-mail to grade a test! so right before my brain spontaniously combusted, i decided to fix up some of the older chapters.
i hope you like this one, it's a nice twist even though it's short!
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL STORY, PLEASE RESPECT THAT. I DONT COPY YOURS, YOU DONT COPY MINE (AND NO BORROWING EITHER CAPICHE?)
thanks much and dont forget to R&R!

Chapter 12
Missing
Saul paced angrily in his study. Something is wrong he thought. Tristan and his crew should be back by now. He had sent them hours ago to ask around Hadsworth for anyone who had seen Anyé. It was a risky measure, but he decided it was necessary.
"Mary!" He shouted ripping open the door.
Mary appeared at the base of the stairs covered in flour.
"For the tenth time! No, they are not in the kitchen fooling around! Why don't you go get some sleep? You're making yourself paranoid! And with you screaming every five seconds, I've lost three, count them, three soufflés, not to mention the one Seth ruined when he came in to speak with Simon."
Saul thought for a moment. "Is that where he's been hiding to get out of work up here?"
"Who Seth?"
"No!" shouted Saul exasperatedly. "Simon!"
"Oh Heavens no! Thankfully he left hours ago. Right after Seth left actually."
"Out of curiosity, do you know where he is now?" Asked Saul.
"No, I thought he had gone back upstairs to work."
Within minuets the valley was turned upside down searching for Simon, and the missing scout crew, who were a bit tied up, deep in the forest, with Connor keeping watch.
For the third time since being ambushed, Tristan bit through his gag and spat at Connor.
"Traitor! Liar! Cheat! We'll get you for this!"
Connor pushed his greasy hair out of his eyes and shoved the gag forcefully back into the hunter's mouth.
"No one's going to "get me"; because, once I get the signal, it's my job to get you!" The fear in the crew's eyes was almost too much for the sneak; he turned and walked in to the trees, leaving the four scouts struggling against their bonds.
please R&R the button is preset! its not that hard! and as long as it's constructive criticism, meaning noflames, i will be very happy!
