ehhh... this one started really good, but no matter how hard i tried to pick up the slack in the middle, it seems a bit lacking. so i apologize in advance, this one isnt as good as some of the others. i'm going to try to fix it, i just have added three more chapters to this, and i decided to post some stuff. (which basically means that i have severe writers block and while waiting for inspiration, i decided to go back and clean up the older chapters.)

Chapter 13
My Sister...
'You killed him? You killed the captain of the guards! Oh we're all going to be hanging for this! Just wait! You me and the dog!'
Red whimpered.
'Wait a minuet! Hold on' Anyé interrupted him. 'First of all, he's out cold, not dead. Secondly: He tried to kill you! You didn't deserve that! My escape wasn't your fault.'
The guard sighed, 'You have a point, but, this isn't the first time I've messed up. Just last week I shot one of Lord Carter's prized harts, a big one too. He was waiting for the antlers to come into season so it would look more impressive.' he shrugged.
Anyé went back over to Sir and used his small dagger to cut his other sleeve into strips.
'What are you doing?' the guard asked
'Making a bandage.' she replied.
'What? He doesn't need It.' she took the hem of her dress and tore along the seam.
She gave him an exasperated look. "You do."
He watched her fold the strips and sighed as he said, 'I did let the horses go on purpose though.'
Anyé reached over and put the padding against his cut. 'That so?' she wasn't really listening. She tied the hem neatly and announced 'Ta-Da! Done!'
"I used a little magic to make them run out of the stalls. I guess I was caught."
"I knew it!" Anyé smirked, listening now."I knew that you were a wizard. I have a sixth sense for magic." She said proudly.
They sat in silence for a few seconds, before she asked. 'Why did you do that?'
'What?' asked the guard?
'Why did you let the horses go?'
'Oh, um, well, when I was chasing you and when I kind of crashed into you, well,' he paused, uncomfortable. 'I thought you were someone I knew, a long time ago. I haven't been able to go visit her, or my other friends from that village. I guess to them I've kind of disappeared.' he started to stand up.
'Sampson, come here.' he called to his black horse. Sampson pulled his reins loose, and trotted over and knelt next to the guard. He grabbed the horse's mane and clicked his tongue. The horse stood slowly, pulling his master upright.
'Well you don't see that everyday,' said Anyé admiringly. 'You've really trained him! Where did you get him?'
'Oh, well that's an interesting story. The friend I just told you about gave him to me, I named him. Sam and I have been together for a$ while. Right buddy?'
The horse nickered and tossed his head in response.
Anyé stood up, and looked at both of them. 'I'm having the weirdest feeling of deja-vou. were your friends named Tara and Anyé?'
'Yeah, actually. What do you know about them?' asked the guard cautiously.
'They live in Thieves' Valley, Anyé had a pony named Dilly, and the only friend of theirs that "disappeared" was a little boy named Garron, who lived in Tollone.' Ailise waited for the guard's response.
He stood there in shock, until Anyé snapped her fingers in his face.
'What do you know about Garron?' she asked.
'I am Garron.' he paused, 'and you must be...'
Anyé began to laugh, 'it's me you idiot, Anyé.'
'No. You're kidding! It's been way to long! What's happened in the Valley? What have you been up to?'
'I could ask the same question. What are you doing in Tarelia?'
'Oh, nothing much I joined the guards. I can't join the Tollonian army, Aldebaran would kill me.'
"Well you look very handsome indeed in your blue uniform.' Said Anyé in a mocking tone. "Well I have to get back; you should leave too, before the others come back this way.'
Anyé saddled up on Sir's horse, and called to Red, who jumped up to her arms. She sat him in front of her and turned to watch Garron get on Sampson.
'Well maybe next time you could come and visit us, instead of attempting to chase me.' Anyé smiled, 'Good seeing you! Take care!' she spurred the horse and shot off down the path, away from the town.
'Wait!' Garron yelled after her. 'Shoot!' he cursed and spurred Sampson on. 'Come on boy, I don't know what she's thinking!'
He caught up with her down the road. 'What are you doing? You're heading straight for the other guards!'
Anyé slowed her horse, and looked at him. 'Don't worry, I'll be fine! You should be worried about yourself. Here they come!'
She pointed down the road at the advancing guards.
'Are you crazy? Run!' Garron pulled Sampson in front of her. 'Go now and I'll have them go and get the captain! You can get away. Go!' Anyé walked her horse around him and said calmly, 'here put this over your head,' she handed him her cloak. 'Watch.'
The guards were upon them, and Garron started to panic. Arrested for treason was the last thing the rebels needed him to be! But he obeyed Anyé and placed the cloak over his head, and averted his eyes as much as he could.
Anyé put on a big smile and began her performance. 'Good morrow to you sirs! A beautiful night for a ride! I am afraid that my sister,' Garron spluttered in shock, Anyé shot him a look of pure venom to keep him quiet. Caleb and Thomas are not stupid enough to believe this... Garron thought spitefully.
'-And I left late and need an escort for the perilous dark road, but you probably need to go help that man lying in the middle of the road back there, he's in awful shape.'
The guards looked carefully at her, perched delicately on top of the enormous horse.
Caleb broke into a smile, 'of course good miss, tell us, what does this man look like?'
Anyé nodded and answered. 'He had a peculiar moustache...'
The guards looked at each other and shouted 'the captain!'
Thomas turned back to Anyé and Garron and apologized. 'Ladies if you will excuse us, we must see to an important matter,'
Caleb took off. 'Was any one else present at the scene?' Thomas inquired.
Anyé lowered her voice and whispered to the guard 'why yes, now that you ask, I think there was some one slinking about in the bushes, but the horses spooked, so we rode out of there fast.'
The guard cursed under his breath. 'Damn you Garron, pardon me ladies, be careful, I guess there is an assailant about.' he too cantered off into the dark
'What was that all about?' demanded Garron. 'Ladies? My sister? What is going on?'
Anyé looked up into the cloudy night dusk sky, 'It looks like it might rain soon... well anyways, and to them you looked like a woman, if not an ugly one.'
'A cloak does not disguise a person that well!'
'No, but magic does.'
'So I'm guessing you've moved on from levitating pies from window sills.'
Anyé glared angrily at him. 'Hey that was once! And you were the one who told me to do it!'
Garron shook his head 'So what'll we do now?' he asked.
'What do you mean 'we'?'
'The captain will tell everyone that I attacked him, the whole town will be on watch.'
'Oh,' Anyé thought for a moment. 'Then you'll have to find somewhere to hide I guess. I'm taking the long way home by the way. So you better 'improve' your archery skills, or learn how to hunt with magic, which is supposed to be very difficult. Because you're going to have to eat something.'
Garron looked deeply hurt. 'Hey, I'm one of the best archers Aldebaran ever taught. You name it; I can shoot it, with or without magic.'
'Didn't you say you hit one of Carter's harts?' Anyé raised her eyebrows.
Garron grinned. 'But I didn't say it was an accident...'
this is yet another reminder that you will have instantCYBER GOOD KARMA if you R&R to my story!
(unfortunatly that type does not come in the form of green paper with U.S Presidents on it... SRY i'm not made of money!)
