Well i am back once more. i have good news and bad news for all of you.

ok, bad news first.

i know most of you are cringing like i am, but it's for the best really. i have had severe writer's block on anyefor the last few weeks. my trash can is filled with balled up notebook paper, and i just cant think of what to write, Anye needs more danger, and i have nothing to give at the moment. so i have about 25 chapters written, and i will be trying to add more, posting the earlier ones as i go (and maybe re-working some of the others)

on to the good news now,

my writer's block officially ended july 7th, and i now for some strange reason, Ihave 2 more stories from Arret, the "world" that Anye is based in.

i admit that i cheated a little and based Arret off of Europe, but you cant plagiarise a continent.

these new stories take place in different time periods, and are in the outline forms now, one looking very good at the moment, (when you have an 18 page outline you cant go wrong.)

i hope you enjoy these chapters of Anye, this is the first i wrote when i was 16, so it's a bit more... put together than the others.

Chapter 20

A way out

Deep beneath Rose Hall, the dank, dripping dungeons glowed eerily with faded light, coming in through the high grating above the heads of the three bedraggled prisoners. Trapped, with no sense of time, or news of the outside world, they could not tell if it had been one day or a week. Tara was already tired of Gigand's optimistic outlook on their predicament.

"WILL YOU SHUT UP!" she shouted after one particular blabber about how the sun will never stop shining, even behind the clouds. Gigand looked like he had been slapped.

He opened his mouth to respond, but Tara held up a hand in the gray light.

"You know what? DON'T talk. Just keep your mouth shut. It'll be better that way." She turned and walked to the far corner. She was furious. Seething. Why couldn't that stupid, spoiled,Soren keep his mouth shut? Now what use to Anyé was she? Captured, and Anyé in trouble in Hadsworth. She sighed and slumped down against the damp stone wall, placing her head in her hands.

Curious, Soren, who had remained silent throughout the ordeal, went to her to comfort her. He had a knack for calming others.

"I know this looks bad, but—" Tara gave him a look of death. If she had powers like Anyé, she knew how she would use them now.

"Oh…this looks bad? Are you kidding? Look around! Where are we? Do you know what's happening out there? My best friend is in trouble, and quite possibly my village, maybe all of Tarelia!" she stood as she spoke and poked the prince in the chest with her index finger. "This looks bad, because, IT IS!" she shouted, pushing him with both arms.

Soren stumbled backwards, anger flashing on his face.

"It's not my fault that you couldn't figure out how to keep yourself out of trouble, you were caught before you came here!" their argument continued, but no one could hear it, they were too far away from the guards, and Gigand had found a way out.
