Author's Note: This nonsense all became a thing because I wanted Loki to sing Marilyn Monroe's Birthday song to Kennedy. That's it. That is all I wanted out of this... and a lap dance... and a piano. Yup. Plot, what's that?
A Quiet Birthday
Tony was awake early. There wasn't anything unusual about this of course, but today was his forty-seventh birthday, and for once in his very wild, unpredictable life, he was going to spend it quietly in the Malibu Mansion with a few close family and that was it. The morning sun was bright, dancing off the sparkling ocean waters as it peeked over the horizon and warming the vast space of the house covered in windows.
Taking the fresh-brewed espresso from the kitchen to the open room covered in a glass wall and white marble floors, a sleek black piano stood at its center. Tony took a seat and sipped at the cup before placing it haphazardly on the edge of the piano and pulled the key guard up. It had been ages since he last played, but the muscle memory was there as he laid his over-calloused fingers on the ivory keys and played a few chords at random to test if it was still tuned.
Taking a breath, Tony slowly started to play the birthday tune one key at a time, chuckling to himself as he continued the elementary playing style with a single finger. He shot back the rest of his espresso as he finished the song, feeling oddly pleased with himself from it.
What slightly caught him off guard was that the piano started to play the song again, but much more intricately than he had, and at a slower pace. Tony swiveled himself around on the bench to see Loki approaching with a smirk on his face and a glimmer in his eye, wearing nothing but a pair of black boxer briefs to match his bed-tousled hair.
"Happy birthday to you," he sang slowly along with the piano's tune.
Tony inclined his head as Loki's hands glided over his tank top-clad chest and shoulders, moving seductively around him and the bench.
"Happy birthday to you," Loki continued, curling an arm around the back of Tony's neck as he sat onto his lap sideways, leaning back some in the process.
"Birthday spec—"
Tony was interrupted with a deep, sound kiss and fluid movements on his lap. Loki pulled back enough to brush his lips down stubbled jawline, uttering more of the song as he did so.
"Thanks, Anthony Stark," he whispered in an ear, "for all the things that you've done."
Loki expertly turned in Tony's lap, pressing his back against his chest as he moved his hips on Tony's thighs, smirking when he felt that stir in the merchant's groin twitch against him.
"For the battles that you've won…" Loki felt Tony slide his hands down his sides, but he stood up and quickly turned to face him. "The way you deal with US steel…"
Loki now straddled Tony's lap, allowing him to grab his hips as he gracefully slid up and down his thighs. He stole another kiss, slipping long fingers under the tank top to graze his hands over his skin.
"...and the problems by the ton…"
Tony leaned heavily into the piano then, interrupting the enchanted keys delicate song while he was being devoured by Loki's mouth. The tank top was completely gone now, carelessly discarded on the edge of the piano, leaving Tony in the ever growing tighter grey and white workout shorts he had thrown on. His hands wandered over Loki's lower back, hips, and thighs as they made out, uncaring of the crude sounds coming from the piano keys as they did so.
"How cute, the space god knows Marilyn Monroe."
Rhodey said suddenly and very nonchalantly, sporting a very unimpressed look on his face when the pair abruptly pulled away from each other to whip their attention to him. Pepper approached from behind him seconds later, holding a bag that matched the two in Rhodey's hands. Coming up beside him, she barely glanced at them and their indecency before rolling her eyes and heading for the kitchen.
Rhodey tilted his head her way, giving a little shrug. "I'm just going to follow her… but I suggest maybe getting a room before Happy comes in with Peter and May."
Tony shifted forward, catching Loki off guard enough that he slipped off Tony's lap and toppled straight onto the soft greyscale-and-cerulean blue patterned rug below.
"Well that certainly didn't go as planned," Loki grumbled, half-glaring at Tony when he stood up, chuckling.
"Appreciate you, Horns," he said fondly, offering Loki a hand. "Seems like the party committee came early, though… raincheck?"
Loki let out a growly sigh, accepting the hand to be hoisted up. He immediately pressed against Tony's bare chest once upright, stealing another kiss.
"You better make it up to me, merchant."
