A portion of the wall slid away, bringing from behind it two high profile women before sliding closed behind them. The Black Widow, otherwise known as Natasha Romanoff and a small variety of other names, and The Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff slightly behind her. They had brought in their best it seemed. The telepath and one of the most notorious spies in the world. The spy turned heroine and revolutionary turned traitor. There weren't many in the world who wouldn't recognize the Widow's face after what happened in New York. Witch, fellow mutation but turned from the cause. Both women now traitors from their path of origin.
The Widow would be for the interrogation and Witchy in case she got feisty. Not that The Widow couldn't hold her own. Or some fun mind games were in store. Maybe torture? That could make things interesting. Not that they seemed like people who had the stomach for torture.
Three looked between the two women but didn't say anything. Mind as blank as the walls. This would be tricky with a skilled telepath. But doable nevertheless. At least, that was the hope.
At the sight of the two women, the girl's eyes widened and she shifted in her corner. From that position, a talented person could spring up to fight with barely a second's warning. It could be a coincidence but this was a person Hydra had meddled with. It was unlikely.
The girl fixed her gaze on Wanda, but didn't say anything. Her blonde, curly hair was short and frazzled as though a bird had decided that her head was the perfect spot for a nest, plus that look in her eyes and the hospital gown really did help with the padded room look she had going. However, looks could be deceiving.
Natasha sat cross legged in front of the girl, confident with her own skills and those of Wanda's, "I'm guessing you know who we are?"
The girl didn't look away from Wanda as she nodded, her knuckles going white as she clutched at her legs. What lies had they told this child about the kind of people they were to make her so afraid? It wasn't as if they were going to torture her or anything.
She was tall, lean, and well muscled. No scarring to be seen on her body. The bandage was already removed from her neck - probably in a different corner somewhere. It was a small wound compared to how she was in the medbay. Definitely not starved for food. But how much food there was in her diet didn't mean she was treated well. That look in her eye said as much. She was well fed, more than likely had a background in fighting, and there must be some form of healing abilities.
"Can you speak?" Natasha ventured in Russian. This was Hydra, the chances the girl didn't know Russian were slim to none. If not, then she'd try German next.
That brought those sharp, green eyes to her, "I speak English."
Natasha nodded, switching back to English, "What is your name?"
The girl just looked back to Wanda, squinting lightly, "You are the one who saved me. Aren't you?" She said it in Serbian, the accent was perfect. So was the English accent. A small pit of dread formed in Natasha's stomach. This girl was not just a mutation. This was a mutation with training. But how much?
Wanda took a step back, "How did you know?" She answered in her mother tongue.
"You smell the same. Just no blood on you now." She shifted, changing her position to mirror Natasha's own and turned to her fully. Enhanced sense of smell was now added to the list. "What do you want to know?" Relaxed now that she had identified Wanda as one of her rescuers.
Natasha put herself in a more relaxed position as well, back against the wall, "Tell me about yourself."
"I am nobody." She ran a hand through her short blonde hair, eyes gone to the distance.
"How do you mean?" Direct seemed to be a good method with this one.
"I'm called subject three and have been ever since I can remember. Haven't earned a name yet." The girl kept her eyes averted, "Thus, I am still nobody. I know nothing."
"Not everyone is given enhancements like you. That's not a nobody." The girl was evidently some form of experimentation. But how deep did it go? Where were her alliances? How much did the girl truly know? What was just what they told her?
"I was born with these." The girl, Subject Three, waved it off, revealing the silhouette of a red rabbit on the inside of her wrist, "They only gave me the training to use it and a place to live when my family threw me out as a baby. In return, I do as they ask. No questions asked." The failed experiment?
"What's that on your wrist?"
"Not exactly sure. I can't remember when I got it." She looked down at her wrist, "What are you going to do with me?"
"We don't know yet."
"Well," She tilted her head a bit, looking back at them with an unreadable glint in her eye, "They have abandoned me to whatever fate you decide. I owe them no allegiance after that."

"She looks a bit like Nat." Tony had his feet kicked up on the table, arms crossed as he watched the interrogation. "At least, with them so close together. Never would have seen it otherwise."
"She sooner looks like you than she looks like Natasha." Bruce said, scrunching up his eyebrows, "How do you even see anything similar about her?"
"It's the eyes. They've got that look to them and the same color too" Clint offered, "But besides that, no. Not at all."
"So she's part of whatever this Project Red Rabbit experiment was." Steve didn't take his eyes from the screen. "Has there been any further mention of it?"
"Friday will get it to us when she's gotten everything off that database that she can."

Three hesitated at the next question from The Widow. How much to give in return for a shaky trust? This wasn't just some training mission. This was quite real with long term results.
What were they expecting? What did they want? How did one give a bit of both?
The Widow's heartbeat was calm, her scent gave no signs of fear or anger, and neither did her features. She was good. Painfully good. Hydra had excellent spies and undercover agents but none were as good as this. Redhead had been the best of the best. Even now she still was.
Witch on the other hand was rather twitchy. Her suspicion and desire to enter her mind was evident in every feature. That was what came of giving a person powers and only letting them start to learn it. Strucker was a fool. Not that the Avengers really helped with any of that either. There was the potential for a good soldier but it was too late now.
Esca - a name for herself, rather, would be coming if she played her cards right with these people. If not? Probably some cell or prison that even she couldn't escape from. Or Hydra would neutralize their faulty asset due to her failure to thrive under strenuous circumstances. There was no way to escape Hydra alone.
Being the brute force was so much easier. Tactical knowledge, strategy, everything around it was the best. Escapism, contortion, and sabotage were enjoyable as well. Like the Winter Soldier or even Captain America with his strengths so similar to her own. Mind games? Manipulation? Boring. Yet here she was, playing the game. It was like playing checkers with chess pieces and a random minion from some unknown game
"If you're going to kill me then just get it over with." Three changed the subject in answer to the question, not really caring whether it was important or not. Some resistance was needed to be believable. "I know nothing so you might as well stop wasting your time." According to her training, these people rarely killed others. Preferring the cruelty of locking them up. But even if they did kill her it didn't matter much. It wasn't as if she'd ever get awa - a name. She would earn her place. Escape from her fate was not an option.

"Boss," Friday's voice came into the room, "The blood results are in."
Tony stood to go to the lab, "I'll head over to the lab to take a look. You coming Brucey?" Bruce nodded and made his way towards the door.
"We'll let you know if anything happens." Steve called as they left.
"At least she's cooperating." Clint noted as the questioning from Nat continued.
"There's something about her." Steve muttered, "Something that makes me want to help her. Not just give her over to SHIELD."
As if summoned, Agent Maria stepped into the room.
A/N ~ Hey all! I'm not exactly sure if Serbian is Wanda's original language but that's what the information I could find so I'm sorry if that's not correct!
