Japan of 1953 in spring time:

In the woods a huge Willow tree stands in the middle of a creek, a perfect place to relax or have a picnic. A young boy and girl that looked to be in their teens laid underneath the Willow tree with a picnic blanket laid underneath them. The boy had spiky hair like a porcupine with three different hair colors. It was violet at the tips then it was black in the middle and his yellow bangs that always seem to manage to get in his face no matter how many times he brushes them away. His eyes had a look of wonder and determination. The color of his eyes were a dark amethyst color as they seem to have a little sparkle to them.

The young lady had smooth silk black hair that seemed to shine when the sun shines down upon it. Her eyes were a ruby blue color that seemed to shine with excitement and adventure, her smile had a warm and innocent feeling." Solomon, you know that you're the greatest man I ever met." she stated to the boy beside her. The boy laugh" Heh, I think you met better and more good looking men than me." Solomon stated. The woman shook her head" No, not as handsome, unique, kind, and gentle." she said dreamily. Solomon laugh" Well then Willow you're the most beautiful, kind, lovable, forgiving, and helpful woman that I ever met." he stated. Willow playfully slapped the young man on the shoulder" Oh Solomon that is not true there are women out there who are way better than I am." she stated.

Solomon looked at Willow lovenly" That might be true, but none of them have nice silk black hair and the most gorgeous ruby blue eyes and skin that are soft and smooth to the touch. They also don't have those nice soft pink lips that taste like honey." Solomon explains as he leans and pulls Willow into a kiss.

When the couple pulled out their kiss they looked at one another" You know if I die one day I want to be buried by this Willow tree." Willow said out of the blue. Solomon looked at his beloved" Why?" he asked. " Well my parents named me after the Willow tree so I figured I might as well be buried in a place that I was named after." Willow explained. Solomon looked at Willow" Your one of a kind my lady, you know there is something I wanted to tell you." he said as he started digging something out of his pocket. Willow looked at him confused as he pulled a tiny wooden box. She didn't realize what Solomon was doing until he got down on one knee and opened the tiny wooden box" Willow Tanaka, will you make me the happiest man alive and take my hand in marriage?" He asked, as a golden ring that has a purple Willow flower that was made out of diamonds but was molded and shaped into a Willow flower.

Willow Tanaka burst into tears" Yes yes I will, my darling." she said happily as more tears of joy slid down her face. Solomon laughed in joy as tears slid down his face as well as he took the ring and slid it on to her ring finger. The now engaged couple kiss each other once more.

Japan presence day 1994 September:

In a game shop an old man with spiky grey hair like a porcupine wore a black bandana on his forehead. He sat on his bed in his bedroom looking at an old photo of him and a lovely looking woman beside him. An old record player was playing soft music as he sadly looked at the photo as tears ran down his face.(1)

"Only you….

Can make this world seem right

Only you…..

Can make my darkness bright

Only you and you alone

Can thrill me like you do

And fill my heart with love for only you

Only you..

Can make this change in me

For it's true

You are my destiny

When you hold my hand, I understand

The magic that you do

You're my dream come true

My one and only you, (only you)

Only you and you alone

Can thrill me like you do

And fill my heart with love for only you

Only you

Can make this change in me

For it's true

You are my destiny

When you hold my hand, I understand

The magic that you do

You're my dream come true

My one,my one, my one and only you

When the record stopped playing he put the disc away in a case. He heard movement down stairs. He got up off the bed and walked out into the hallway. He looked around when he heard glass breaking down stairs. He looked over where the stairs lead downstairs before looking the other way when Yugi's bedroom door was open. There was a thump down the stairs as if something fell over. He walked down the steps into the kitchen to see his grandson in his blue with stars pajamas." Yugi what are you doing up?" he asked his grandson.

Yugi didn't answer, he just continued to walk around the room like he was some sort of zombie. Grandpa walked over and waved his hands in front of Yugi, but the boy had no reaction at all. Solomon sigh" I thought he quit sleepwalking a long time ago." he said under his breath. He carefully led his sleepwalking grandson back up the stairs into his room." Alright back to bed you go." he said more to himself since Yugi is technically still asleep. He picked up his grandson. He was starting to get worried about his grandson for a lot of reasons.1: his grandson seems very lightweight no matter how much he feeds his grandson.2: He's been sleepwalking again.3: his panic attacks. Yes even though Yugi never told him his friends did as they somehow knew that Yugi wouldn't tell his grandfather.

Solomon sighs again" Maybe it's about time to see a doctor or psychiatrist, something." he thought. He pulled the covers on top of his grandson. Yugi's eyes were now closed as the boy snuggled deeper into his covers. A tiny smile came across his face but soon faded away when he heard a knock on the door down stairs. The elderly man sigh" Can't I catch a break." he thought miserably. He walked down the steps as another knock sounded through the house." I'm coming, just give this old geezer a second." he responded out loudly hoping whoever was at the door at six o-clock in the morning on a saturday. As he reached the door he opened it to reveal none other then" Hiro Hayashi? What are you doing here? I thought you had to leave this week." Solomon asked in wonder. The elderly woman looked up at Solomon with sympathy" I'm so sorry to bother you this early in the morning, but my flight got canceled due to a storm that's over the Pacific ocean that I won't be able to head over to America for a week or two. Plus I need to save my money for my next flight that is available." she explained in one breath that it was a wonder that she didn't pass out.

Solomon blinked before opening the door all the way '' Come in, it's cold outside." he said as he stepped aside so that Hiro could walk in. Hiro bowed her head in thankfulness as she stepped into the nice warm building." Well I'll go and make some tea. You are more welcome to sit anywhere you want." the elderly man suggested." Thanks Solomon, I think I'll sit in the living room." the elderly lady responded as she sat in one of the loveseats. Solomon soon returned with freshly brewed green tea as he set two tea cups and started pouring the drink into the cups." So how much longer are you staying here in Domino?" Solomon asked as he handed Hiro the fresh cup of tea. Ms. Hayashi took a sip of here tea before looking up at the elderly man" Well whenever the airport opens up the flights to America of course there other ways to get there it's just that I don't have enough money to do all that travel." she explained. Solomon looked at the women with sympathy before giving an encouraging smile" Well your more than welcome to stay here until you can book your next flight and before you reject the offer we have an extra room down here you can stay in and all you have to do is help me around the shop and stuff and that can be consider as payment." Solomon elucidates. Ms. Hayashi gave Solomon a warm smile" Mr. Muto I appreciate the hospitality that you're giving me, but I can't just start living in your home." she started." Who says you can't stay here?" Solomon saids arching an eyebrow.

Ms. Hayashi sigh" Well, what about your family? What will they say about this." she stated. Solomon shook his head sadly" Hiro I am taking care of my grandson for a reason his family doesn't ever come around here anymore and I'm not for sure they know their son is even alive anymore they probably think he is long gone by now, cause the thing is I didn't tell you the reason I have Yugi in my custody. He was a very sick child from the day he was born. The mother didn't want Yugi to die in her care because she was afraid she would go insane if she saw him die. As for my son, he didn't want to take care of him because he didn't want a sick child because he thought it was too much work and a waste of time. So my son gave him to me and told me it was my punishment for not being there for him and the cause of his mother's death. He pretty much told me that if the child dies in my care I'll understand how he felt when I wasn't there for him." Solomon explained the story.

The older man's eyes glazed over being lost in the memory of the past. Hiro looked down in affinity; she never would've thought this family had such a rocky relationship if not broken. Hayashi looked at Solomon in the eyes and she could see the sadness and the guilt in those eyes. She puts down her cup of tea as she gently grabs Solomon's hands and gives them a gentle squeeze." Solomon you know it's not your fault right I'm pretty sure whatever happened it was not your fault and I'm most certain that you try your best to be a good father cause if you weren't Yugi wouldn't want to be here with you." she explained to Solomon in her soft gentle voice that seemed warm like summer rain. Solomon shook his head" Your wrong Hiro I didn't try at all to be a good father to my son. I left him and my wife home alone for weeks and months and all I ever cared about was finding something new to explore to find something that no one ever found. I neglected my family and for that my wife died in a car crash leaving my son all alone for five days living at home alone until I got back. Since that day he resented me, he blamed me for his mother, my wife's accident telling me she wouldn't have died that day if I was home with them. And I believe it. If I was home that day she wouldn't have left to go get a welcome home cake that was meant for me cause I was supposed to come home that day." he spoke broken heartedly as tears started spewing and rolled down his face like an endless waterfall as he got lost in his memory and told the rest of the story.

*Flashback*: Solomon was in his hotel as he started unpacking his bags. He was supposed to go home today but he and his excavation team just made a great breakthrough of maybe finding a new tomb in the valley of the kings. So now he was unpacking his things. He stopped in the middle of his unpacking and looked at the handset cord phone on the nightstand. He dropped his things and dialled the game shop/ house number to tell his wife Willow that he wouldn't be back until another three weeks. He dial the number in and waited as the phone rang and rang and rang until finally someone picked up" Hello thi-" but the person on the phone didn't get to finish what they were about to say as Solomon interrupted" Willow honey I'm sorry to give bad news, but I won't be home until abo-." suddenly Solomon was interrupted by the other person on the phone" Sir sir I'm not your wife Willow I'm officer Shi and I'm afraid to give you devastating news, but your wife was in a terrible accident and I'm afraid she was killed on impact. I'm sorry for your lost sir." the femin voice spoke. Silence was the only reply officer Shi received and it worried her." Mr. Muto, are you still there?" she asked worriedly thinking the man must've passed out or something. It seemed like forever before she heard the reply" I-I-Is my my s-s-son ok." she heard Solomon stutter out." Your son is fine Mr. Muto,he was home alone when we came here. It looked like he was setting up balloons for some birthday party or something." the woman explained.

Solomon's hands were shaking like crazy tears rolled down" I-I-I-I'm a-all away i-in Egypt I-I-I d-don't kn-know how long i-it will take- for….me… to…...book….another…..plane….ticket….." he said in shock. Then everything broke down on Solomon as everything finally came crashing down on him as he mentally broke down on the phone" Please this can't be happening I-I-I was ju-just talking to her this morning she was ok, Willow was ok she… Willow I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm so sorry please let this be a bad dream." he brokenly said. Officer sighs sadly" I'm sorry sir but I'm afraid it's not a bad dream." she said. Solomon fell onto his knees as his legs lost their strength to hold him any longer as he let go of the phone as hang off the nightstand. Solomon bellowed in anguish as tears fell down like rain on a stormy night.

Since that evening everything was a blur to Solomon he didn't remember booking another plane ticket or even getting on the plane itself. He barely remembers coming home to his sixteen year old son sitting in the living room. He slightly remembers his son yelling at him telling him it was all his fault cause he was supposed to be home around noon the day Willow died. Since then Solomon's son was mostly gone all day; the child would get up early in the morning and come back late at night. Then the day the boy turned eighteen he left and Solomon thought he would never see him again.

It was not until six years later his son came back, but he was not alone. A beautiful young woman with magenta hair and blackish grey eyes. She also has two thick eyebrows that are covered by her little front bangs. She wore a yellow long sleeved shirt with a light baby blue shirt over top, her skin was pale white color as she also wore black high heels shoes. She silently waved at Solomon who gave her nod before looking back at his son." Well it has been a while now hasn't Eito." Solomon said to his son. Eito Solomon's son grunted" Six years is not a very long time in my book father." the man stated. The woman grabbed Eiko's arm" Honey, you said you would try, come on, you can't ignore your father for the rest of your life." the women stated. Eiko sigh" fine" he whispered before looking up at Solomon" Father I came here today to make an amend and put this little feud that we have behind us, also I came here to tell you me and my wife are gonna have a baby." he said in a rush that Solomon could hardly keep up on what his son said.

After that day the son and wife moved in with Solomon. Eiko was mostly gone during the day having to go to his job. Solomon took care of Ms. Muto who's first name was Nishi. For a good while everything seemed to go pretty well until the day the child was supposed to be born. Solomon was putting games on shelves when he heard Nishi scream his name" SOLOMON! I THINK MY WATER BROKE!" she yelled in the downstairs bedroom. Solomon rushed into the room and sure enough Nishi water had broken and there was a puddle of water to prove it.

An hour later Solomon was waiting in the hospital waiting room waiting for his son to show up as he called him when he arrived at the hospital. A few minutes had passed when Eiko came barging into the hospital. Another hour later a baby boy was born, but something went wrong, the baby was slightly blue. So the mother wasn't able to hold her baby like any other mother was able to. The doctors and nurses cleaned the baby boy as fast as they could. Soon they attach oxygen tubs into the baby's nose canal and place the baby into a container. The doctors soon realized the baby had low concentration of oxygen in the circulation of blood in the heart.

It took a whole month for the baby whose mother's name was Yugi to be free to leave the hospital. It seems the infant was excited to leave the place as well as his bright amethyst eyes shine, he would smile and squeal with excitement. The baby had tiny black strands of hair on his tiny little head. If anyone looked at the small infant they would've thought the baby was a premature baby, but the thing was he wasn't he was just a very small baby.

Everything seemed to go smoothly the couple found a house of their own and moved in with their baby. Solomon was a little sad, but was happy nonetheless. Two years later passed and everything once more went downhill, but this time worse. Baby Yugi one night kept on crying and was running with a high fever. The mother and father rushed him to the hospital, but not even the doctors could figure out what was wrong.

About a week later the doctors called the parents giving them devastating news they still didn't know what was causing the child to be so deathly sick all they knew was the child was dying.

Not long after that the whole family once more broke apart; the mother and father left the grandfather to take care of their sick child. Since then the mom and dad never showed up ever again and Solomon only had Yugi to take care of even though he knew the child could die at any time or day he still loved the child unconditionally. * End of Flashback*

After Solomon was done telling the story he pretty much broke down into tears as all the things he tried to block and forget started crashing down on him. Hiro rubs Solomon back trying to comfort him as best to her ability." Solomon it's ok from what you told you tried your best to keep the family together just look on the bright side of things your grandson who the doctors thought he wouldn't make pass four years old and look now here he is fourteen years old and still alive and he not sick anymore. You're a great person Solomon and don't let anyone tell you any different." She said soothingly.

Yugi woke up feeling tired like he walked a marathon for some reason. Strange cause he has been feeling like that for a good while now. At first it was a little unnoticeable, but now he is really starting to feel it in his tired muscles and brain. He stretched his body and let out a yawn as he tried to get rid of the tiredness that was still trying to plague him. He rubbed his eyes with his hands as he cracked one of his eyes. It had been three days since the fake predictor incident, they found the teen in the homeroom classroom unconscious with a broken bottle of chloroform. No one knew what really happened. Some guess was that he was about to leave when the bottle of chloroform that was under his cloak fell and knocked him unconscious. Even when the lad woke up he kept on screaming that his bottle of chloroform was floating and that he was using his psychic powers. Of course the bottle was not because it was broken on the floor so the teachers of the school called an ambulance and Kokurano went straight to the hospital.

Yugi laid back and thought about what happened three days ago. He remembered seeing a book on the floor, went to the library, and a book shelf ready to fall on him. After that everything was once again a mystery to him; he doesn't remember ever walking home. When he asked Anzu how she got home she just said the stranger that saved her from the criminal at Burger World took her home." Maybe he came back and took me home too?" he wondered. He shook that thought out of his head" No that can't be it the stranger wouldn't even know I was in the library." he scolded himself. Suddenly a warm feeling surrounded him and a golden light glowed. He looked over at the dresser to see the Millennium Puzzle sitting there shining as if trying to give him the hint." Maybe." he spoke softly. The young teen slapped himself" Argh! Come on Yugi you're not a little kid anymore so stop thinking like one there no way the puzzle helped me get home that's impossible." he said out loud scolding himself more.

He got up and grabbed his black tank top and pair of black jeans. He went to the bathroom and stripped down into his birthday suit. He turned on the water and pulled up on the tap to turn on the shower head. At first it was cold but slowly it started to get warmer. He steps in as the warm water showers down on him as his whole body seems to lose every trace of sleep that his body wanted earlier. His hair that seems to always defy gravity sloped down over his face. He grabbed the shampoo bottle and squirted some into his hands and rubbed the content into his hair. As soon as he was done getting clean he turned off the water and stepped out onto the bath rug. He grabbed a towel off the towel rack and started drying himself off from his head to his toes. He got dressed and grabbed a blowdryer out of the bathroom sink cubby hole as he plugs it into the wall and dried his hair.

Once his hair was all dried he grabbed a comb and started brushing it out. After his hair was all combed out and fixed he put it away. He stepped on a stool so he could grab his toothbrush and toothpaste out of his Kuribo cup holder that his grandfather gave him when he was five years old. When he went to spit out the toothpaste out of his mouth into the sink he could've sworn he saw someone else behind him in the reflection of the mirror. He turned around really quick, but that was his mistake as the stool tipped over at the sudden quick movement and shot out from underneath him. Yugi tried to catch himself from falling as his hand landed on the sink but also something sharp as a sharp pain shot threw his left hand. The boy yelped in pain as he clutched his hand in pain. He looked around to see what cut to find his grandfather's razor on the floor with blood on it; his blood. He heard rushing footsteps coming up the stairs" Oh man, I probably scared Jii-chan to death." the boy thought sympathetically.

Not long after he thought this the bathroom door burst opened" Yugi! Are you alright?" Solomon shouted out in worry. Yugi looked at his left hand to see red crimson blood dripping from the palm of his hand" Solomon what's wrong, is everything ok?" asked a worried feminine voice. Yugi looked up in shock to see Ms. Hayashi behind his grandfather. Before any question could form in Yugi's mouth Hiro gasped out loud in shock as she covered her mouth with her hands." Oh poor dear your bleeding here let me help you." the elderly woman stated as she stepped forward and reached her hand out. Yugi scooted himself away as he shook his head in negativity as he grabbed a rag and wrapped it around his injured hand. He went to open the cabinet that had the first aid kit out from under the sink, but a soft and gentle hand grabbed the hand that wasn't injured.

Yugi looked up to see Ms. Hayashi looked down at him with sympathy" Yugi please let me help, it'll be easier and faster if I help." she said in a quiet voice. Yugi grit his teeth but didn't struggle when Hiro grabbed the aid kit and grabbed some bandages and creme." I got this Solomon you can finish breakfast if you want." she told the guardian. Solomon nodded his head as he headed back down stairs to finish breakfast. Yugi kept frowning while Hiro cleaned his cut and put numbing cream on it." I'm not a helpless little child you know, I could've done this myself." Yugi said quietly. Hiro looked down at Yugi, `` I'm pretty sure you can, but it doesn't hurt for someone to help you." the elderly lady stated as she started wrapping his hand with bandages." It does when everyone is always helping you." the boy thought grumply.

Breakfast was really quiet in the Muto's home. No one spoke Solomon was reading the daily newspaper as usual. Of course even though Yugi didn't voice it he could clearly see from his peripheral vision that Ms. Hayashi was staring at him. Pretty soon he couldn't take it anymore feeling like some dejavu Yugi stood up from out of seat, but this time he just put his dish in the sink, slipped on a pair of shoes and headed out the door without saying anything. Solomon was shocked by his grandson's behavior; normally he doesn't act so stubborn. Solomon made a decision right then and there he was gonna make an appointment with a doctor.

Yugi was fuming as his cheeks were bright red and puffed out. You could say he looked like a little kid who didn't get what he wanted for christmas. He was in Domino park sitting on one of the swings of the swing set." Argh! Why is she back all of the sudden? Why is Jii-chan acting like she's been living there all my whole life? she creeps me out. Why does she keep staring at me like I'm some prize jewel or something." Yugi growled out loud. " Why are you so upset?" a familiar voice spoken out of the blue. Yugi looks up in shock to see Mokuba" Mokuba! What are you doing here? Uh and h-how much did you hear?" he asked nervously. Mokuba shrugged his shoulder" Well to answer your first question Seto brought me here to spend some family time, but of course as soon as we arrived he got an important phone call that just had to ruin it. Now for the second question I heard enough that you seem to have some type of family problem." the younger boy explained.

Yugi dropped his head low in and sigh" Man can't I do anything without anybody having to worry about me." he mumbled. Mokuba arches an eyebrow '' What's wrong with people worrying about you?" he asked out of curiosity. Yugi didn't know what happened to him. He just exploded into a crying broken child. Well, he looked like one in Mokuba's eye's." The fact that I'm fourteen years old that looks and acts like a little kid and everyone wants to help me cause they think I'm weak which is true cause I can't defend myself. Then I get bullied and have a full blown panic attack having some weird image that doesn't make sense to me and no one will tell me why I'm having them. Not only is Jii-chan acting strange he lets a complete strange women that happens to be a friend of his and she won't stop staring at me and it creeps me out, but stupid me I won't tell Jii-chan cause I don't want him to worried about me more than he already is. I just don't know what to do anymore Mokuba I feel like I'm losing myself." Yugi cried as he covered his face with his hands.

Mokuba just looked at Yugi in sympathy as he cried." Man this kid gots problems." he thought. Mokuba wasn't being rude or anything, he just doesn't know how to help a distraught teen who seems to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. Yugi slowly stopped crying as he wiped his tears away" Sorry Mokuba I didn't mean to drop my problems on you." he said feeling ashamed of himself for telling a kid who's way younger than him his problems. Mokuba shrugged it off" It's ok Yugi, it seems to me you've been keeping those thoughts to yourself for a while, maybe you should have someone to talk to about it." he suggested. The young teen looked up at the boy tilting his head" But who Mokuba? I can't just bother some random stranger about my problem." Yugi explained. Mokuba didn't know what to say. The only thing he could do is be a friend so he walked up to Yugi and gave him a hug. Yugi flinched at first, but soon relaxed other than Anzu, Mokuba it seemed like the only other person was willing to become his friend without a cause. Now he knows Honda and Jounouchi well, but he couldn't help himself to think that the only reason they became his friends was because he defended them in front of big bully Ushio.

After a while the two boys played together at the park until it started to get dark and Seto yelled at his brother that it was time to go home. Mokuba wished Yugi good luck and waved goodbye as he ran to his older brother Seto looked up at Yugi and gave him a wave as well before leaving in his limo. Everything once again became a blur to Yugi as he slowly walked home." Dad look what I got it's new Zombire Comic book!" Yugi looked up to see a little boy who looked to be around seven years old running to a man with light grey hair, glasses, and wearing a business suite." Yeah I see that sport is good for you." the man commented.*Flash scene*" Jii-chan, Jii-chan, Jii-chan!" A young Yugi shouted at his grandfather. The older man looked up at grandson from the bench he was sitting on." Yes Yugi what is it?" the man asked." Look what I got, it's a Little Kuribo plushie." the lad said excitedly." Yes I see it's a cutie isn't you know even though this creature looks innocent and cute it has a special ability to defeat it's enemy." the elderly man explained to his grandson. Little Yugi looked down at his plushie creature with a sad smile on his face" I wish I can be like a Kuribo someday cause if I can be as strong as him then that's a sign for me that I can become stronger like the Dark Magician." the child said sadly as small tears swelled up in his eyes." That's if I live long enough." the boy stated before looking at Solomon with tears rolling down his face." I DON'T WANT TO DIE JII-CHAN!" Yugi cried out as he ran to his grandpa and started crying on the older man's legs. Solomon couldn't help but have tears in his eyes, but he didn't let them fall. The really sad thing about this was Solomon didn't even tell Yugi that he was a very sick boy he somehow already knew.* End Of Flashback*.

Yugi snapped out of his memory and noticed something wet and warm rolling down his 's when he noticed he was crying. He wiped the tears away as he continued to walk home not noticing that someone was really worried about him.

The spirit of the Millennium puzzle was worried about his hakari. He could feel his host worries and other mixed feelings which for him kind of made him feel dizzy. He didn't know what to do other than what he was already doing, but it seems it doesn't work anymore. He also was trying to block the bad thing that had happened to his light, but it looks like it's making it worse. Now there is a weird creepy old lady that his host doesn't trust as far as he could possibly throw her. In his case he doesn't blame his hikari, he wouldn't trust that old wessel if she was just staring at him all day either. He also noticed he was a little careless of being curious about things and phasing out of the puzzle. Like today he got curious on what his host was doing in the bathroom. Of course now he knew his hakari was just brushing his teeth, but he didn't know that then. In the process of his light spotting him the boy got injured causing the lad to have a rocky start. He was glad that the boy Mokuba was doing well and was out of the thing you call a hospital because if the boy lad helpt his host to feel a whole lot better.

Suddenly the spirit felt his host going into a memory thing. Speaking of memory he never did find out what he was or why he was here. He kept on searching through the puzzle to see if he could find anything, but nothing just traps or empty rooms in every single room he heads into. It's frustrating for the spirit to have no memories other than being in nothing but darkness. He didn't know how long he was in the darkness, but it was long enough that he noticed he wasn't alone in that darkness. Black swirling shadows moved around he could've sworn at one point in time they would hiss. At first they would torture him and even attack him. One day he had enough and he somehow managed to control them and he would fight back if they tried to attack him. Soon enough he tamed them and they quit attacking him as they would back away from him when he approached them. Of course being alone by yourself in the darkness with nothing but these Shadows he likes to call them, to accompany him. He soon started talking to them saying he didn't want to be alone anymore and that he wanted to become acquainted with them. They would hiss at him in response but not the aggressive hiss he received the first time he met them.

Since then he would talk to them and they would swirl around him trying to comfort him. Strange how once these Shadows were his enemies, but now they became his loyal subjects. After spending more time with them he slowly understood what they were saying. The Shadows called him master which for him left him uneasy for awhile, but he soon got used to them calling him master. He didn't have a name or did he and he just doesn't remember it like everything else. Soon he felt a different presence and the Shadows felt them too as they hissed in displeasure. He also didn't like this new presence either all he felt was" GREED" the Shadows hiss out." Greed?" he wondered." So greed is bad. If greed is bad then they shouldn't be near him." he thought. It didn't make sense to him. He knew he was trapped in something but he didn't know what he was trapped in. When the presence got closer one of them was close to touching him before he let the shadows attack this greedy presence. Back then he didn't know what to call them cause he didn't know what they were. Now he knew they were some sort of people that find old things. Something like this golden pyramid that he stuck in and can't move more than ten feet away from.

If his memory serves him correctly only one of those people survived but barely. Not long after those incidents three people came, two of them had the same feeling like the first group of people. The third one was strange he/she had this adventure, this light to him and a warm feeling. He liked the feeling that the person was radiating off of him. So instead of attacking all them he ordered the shadows to get rid of the other two greedy people. Sadly the good man got injured in the process by some weird object that could blow out tiny round grey things. Then after that he sat in some little room with boxes and things that these people call shelves. Then he met his hakari and boy was that boy special. The child light was so bright that it made his heart stop well if he had one that is. It was brighter than the old person's light and even warmer it was innocent. Then the day he finally was free from the darkness no longer having to ask the Shadows what was what and he could finally see his savoir face. But all things are not always sunshine lollipops and rainbows. Like a raging storm destroying everything in its path his host changed after that terrible incident. The Shadows though they don't come out very often anymore were angry that day just like he was. He wanted to punish those monsters so badly, but he couldn't, the Shadows were not strong enough; he wasn't strong enough to do anything to save his light.

So here he is keeping his vow to protect his host from any possible danger no matter the cost even if that means he had to sacrifice himself to do it. The Shadows hiss at him for thinking those thoughts as they didn't agree with his idea, but they too wanted to protect his light as well. The Shadows just didn't want to lose their master in the process. The spirit stopped talking to the Shadows; he was done arguing with them. The only thing on his mind now is his hakari and that's it he doesn't care if his memory never returns to him as long his host is safe and sound. If anyone opposes any threat to the boy he will destroy them;literally.

Yugi finally reached the Kame Game Shop or in his case home. He walked in and saw his grandfather sitting on the couch. Hearing the bell at the shop door ring, the elderly looked up to see his grandson. Yugi looked into his grandfather's eyes and he could see the hurt, worry, and concern writing all over his face. Solomon got up off the couch and walked slowly toward his grandson who was looking down at the floor in shame. Yugi felt guilty and ashamed of himself for causing his grandfather to be worried about him. Now that he thinks about it he didn't tell his grandfather where he was going he just ran out the door in frustration." Jii-chan I'm uh-" but he didn't get to finish to apologize as he was brought into a crushing bear hug. " Yugi don't you ever leave for that long without telling me where you are going, do you understand me young man? I wouldn't know what I'd do if I lost you." Solomon blubbered out as his body began to shake. Yugi, hating himself for doing this to his grandfather started weeping as he hugged his guardian tighter" I'm sorry Jii-chan I'm sorry I'm really sorry." he cried like the hundredth time today.

Hiro Hayashi was in the corner of the room in the bedroom that Solomon had given her to stay in watching from the door, seeing the scene that had played out." This family is really messed up." she thought. She walked back into her room, closed the door and went to sleep.

Yugi went to bed thinking about his actions. Why did he run out today? It couldn't just because the old lady was just staring at him though it did make him uncomfortable. Could it be that he was a little jealous of Hiro Hayashi? A flash of image the elderly lady popped in his head and he couldn't help but clenched his teeth harder. Turned over in bed and closed his trying to go to sleep, but it was easier said than done as he let out a frustrating sigh. He got out of bed and walked down the dark hallway and down the stairs into the kitchen. He opened the fridge and grabbed the bottle of milk and closed the fridge door behind him. He grabbed a small plastic cup and poured some milk into the cup and put the milk away. He walked back at the table and picked up his cup of milk and popped it into the microwave. As he waited for his milk to warm up he leaned against the kitchen table. The microwave beeped as he walked toward it and opened it and grabbed the nice warm cup of milk. He took a sip sighing in delight as the warm liquid went down his throat.

Once he finished his drink he put it in the sink and turned only to jump back in fright as Hiro Hayashi stood there looking down at him." Ms. Hayashi, you scared me to death. I think my soul almost left my body." he added a little humor in his words." What are you doing up so late." the woman asked. Yugi looked up at her, arching an eyebrow" Why does she want to know?" he wondered. As if someone changed the thermostat in the room, Yugi's whole body started to shake in fear." I-I could- couldn't sleep so I w-was getting so-something to drink." the boy's voice quivered. Hiro walked over to the side of a wall and flipped the light switch on, illuminating the room in brightness. Yugi squinted at the sudden brightness" Why are you in the dark?" Hayashi asked." Oh I don't know how it hurts your eyes when you go from dark to bright." Yugi sarcastically thought." Like I said to get a cup of milk." he said with a little more gumption in his voice." Ok you don't have to have an attitude with me I was just wondering what you are doing walking in the dark." Ms. Hayashi explained." Well for one thing your not my O bachan(2) or my Mama(3) so why don't you mind your own business and leave me alone you stinken Furui haggu!(4)." Yugi shouted in exasperation as he stormed past the shocked old lady as he went up stairs into his room.

Hiro Hayashi was shocked when she heard Solomon's grandson call her that." Huh, even the nicest and most beautiful eye child could have some nasty language too." she thought. A small smile played across her face as she looked up the steps that the young teenage boy went up." Oh two can play this game. This is war. I love seeing the fire in your eyes." she said quietly." And when I win I can have my prize." she finished as she went back into her room.

Yugi shut his bedroom door and jumped on his bed only to scream into his pillow." Why can't she leave me alone? Why can't she mind her own beeswax? Why does she always stare at me like I'm some stinken trophy? Why..why...does…. bad… things… keep….happening….to me." he said the last sentences in a monotone. Salty tears sprang to his eye he quickly wiped them away" Why am I .." before he could finish what he was gonna say the puzzle glowed and caused him to feel warm and made every dark thought disappear. His eyes grew heavy as he fell asleep.

The spirit of the puzzle knew what the boy was gonna say, but he didn't want the boy to say he didn't to hear that disgusting word come out of his light mouth. So he used the power of the puzzle to calm the boy down. Once the boy was asleep he phased out of the puzzle and watched his host rest peacefully with that cute baby face of his. Looking so peaceful, innocent, and kind he was anything but worthless. Worthless, that's the disgusting word that his harkari was about to say before he stopped him. Why would such a kind innocent soul think something so dismaying about himself? He watched his light rest for a while before retreating back into his soul room inside the puzzle, the dark and cold soul room that seems to be like some tomb. He didn't mind though the Shadows were there with him to keep him company and he could always leave outside the puzzle to discover so many weird and different things. With this thought in mind he closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep once again.

Somewhere on the other side of Domino a group of seven people were at the Domino airport. The first one seems to be about 6'1'' tall, with comb blond hair that almost covered his ears. He wore a blue button up shirt and black pants with a brown leather belt. His bright blue eyes seem to shine like stars against the full moon. The second was a little taller than blond 6' 1 and half inches taller to be exact. He had black glasses over his dark grey eyes and a black vest with dark blue jeans. The third and fourth people are twins at the height of 5'8" with orange bob haircut hairstyle and blue eyes. They both wore white shirts with a blue jacket and blue jeans. The fifth one was a young boy holding a blue teddy bear. He had honey eyes and a blue t-shirt and shorts. The sixth one, a very loyal friend to the fifth person, had very short black hair and his eyes were a very dark brown. His height goes up to 6'2" the tallest of the rest of the group. And the last but not least another boy with a pixy brown haircut and lovely brown eyes he too wore a blue button up shirt and black pants like the first and he is 5'7" tall.

The first boy jumped around with excitement" All right we made it Domino City of Japan!" he shouted cause a few people that were walking by them looked at him strangely." Dylan you're causing a scene please keep it down." said the second male as he pushed his glasses up closer to his face. But the first boy now known as Dylan seems to haven't heard the second boy as he shouts at every little thing." Alright crew, let's book a hotel for us to stay in and Monday we're going to uh um Don what did you say the school was called again?" Dylan asked nervously. The second boy now known as Don pushed his glasses up again as they always seem to want to slide down" It's called Domino middle school. They say it's a very unique place." he said as he picked up his suitcase and started walking. Everyone in the group did the same and followed Don.

The group soon found a hotel to stay in for the night Dylan laid on his back up at the ceiling with a bright smile on his face." Can't wait until Monday we will make Domino Middle school even better. We may even get new recruits." He thought happily to himself as he closed his eyes and dreamed about his sudden future only he didn't realize how much the future will hold for him.
