"Ah, I found it!"

"Found what?" Beckett asked, looking up from the items they'd gotten at the Mob Museum.

"A place for dinner," Castle replied. "Since you were kind enough to let me pick," he added.

"Where?" Beckett said with a smile at his exaggerated loving tone.

"Blossom," Castle said simply in reply. When she looked at him in surprise he said, "It's Chinese and at the Aria. It's gotten really great reviews and I managed to get a table."

"It sounds good," Beckett said with a smile as she watched him walk around to her. "What do you think?" she asked him while she held up the shirt they'd found for Josie.

"You were right, it's a lot better," Castle said before he wrapped his arms around her. He gently made her drop the shirt and lightly kissed her temple before going to her cheek. "Luckily I made it for later," he told her when he made her turn to face him. As soon as he could he leaned down and took her lips with his before he was making it deep immediately. After he pulled away, he felt her pulling him back to her and they were kissing hungrily again while they were grasping at each other tightly.

Beckett became a little lost at the feel of her husband's hands spanning her back before she stopped the kiss moving away from him and pressing her cheek to his. "Rick," she sighed when he was kissing at her neck since her hair was pulled back, moaning softly while he murmured against her skin.

"I've been wanting to do this all day," Castle breathed. He pressed a few more kisses before he went back to her lips, taking them and kissing her sensuously that time. When they parted slowly, he told her with a smile, "I should warn you; I'll probably end up doing this tomorrow."

"I'm not surprised," Beckett said, smiling herself. She then became serious and pulled her husband to her so they could kiss again. They were far deeper that time and she was dueling his tongue before they settled into rubbing against each other until they had to catch their breath. She felt her husband rest his cheek against hers before she said, "We should stop."

"I know, but at least we got the chance for that," Castle said, smiling at her. He raised his head and brushed his lips to hers before he said, "Okay, the reservations are at six, I hope you don't mind."

"No, that's fine," Beckett replied, turning her attention to the shirts on the bed. "But that's not a lot of time."

"What did you want to do?" Castle asked in surprise.

"Take a shower," Beckett replied. "Quickly."

"So you have to invade my bathroom?" Castle asked, since hers only had a tub. When she nodded, he said, "I couldn't persuade you to use it at the same time I am? It's huge."

"It is," Beckett replied easily. "But it's not the right time."

"I was hoping you wouldn't say that," Castle replied.

"But you knew I would," Beckett said. When he nodded, she laughed softly and asked, "Do you want to take yours first?"

"I should," Castle said.

"I was going to tell you to," Beckett replied with a smile. "I'll take longer but I'll duck back into my own bathroom." She then put her finger to his chest and said, "You will watch TV… or read. It's your choice." She smiled again at him pursing his lips but nodding before he said, "I'll change." "What's the attire?" she asked before he could head to the bathroom.

"It says business casual, so a sweater would work," Castle said. "I'll be back."

Smiling while she watched him, Beckett turned her attention to the girls' shirts as she waited for her turn. Picking up the one for Josie again, she folded it quickly so the design of a flapper dancing on a black background was showing and got Eliza's. That one was red and had the profile of a woman in a white cloche that looked Art Deco. She studied it before folding it, hoping the little girl wouldn't mind the color. Julia's was a blue color with two Model Ts and people hanging out the windows in twenties clothing and she knew already her second oldest would love it. They hadn't been able to find anything for anyone else but her father, a book on the government's work to bring down the mob through history. That was already in her suitcase, and she put the shirts with them in her closet before grabbing what she needed for her shower. When she looked out into the bedroom she couldn't see or hear her husband there, so she went back into her closet to check on her clothes for that night.

"Kate?" Castle called when he walked into the bedroom.

"I'm here," Beckett said, holding her towel with what she needed on top.

"It's all yours," Castle told her. He waited for her to walk up to him and they shared a kiss before he said, "I could have showered in one of the other rooms."

"We'll try and bathe and shower on Monday," Beckett said with a smile. When he nodded in exaggerated eagerness she laughed briefly and said, "Remember I told you try."

"Oh I heard you," Castle replied easily. "But I'm still going to hope."

"I'm not surprised," Beckett said, reaching out and grabbing his hand. "One more," she told him when he turned to look at her, slightly startled. She was pleased when he leaned into her immediately and they shared a lingering kiss though they kept it simple. After they'd parted she told her husband, "I'll try not to take that long."

"Of course," Castle said, kissing her again though he merely brushed his lips to hers. Once they'd parted, he let her go and watched her slip into the room before the door closed behind her. He sighed and turned to the bedroom to grab his blazer to wear over his black shirt before walking to the TV room. He turned it on but didn't really pay any attention to it while he waited, trying to listen for his wife before he heard her footsteps coming down the hall.

"What?" Beckett asked since her husband was staring at her. "Wait-" she said when he got up and walked to her. As he kissed her deeply, she responded since she'd been hoping for it and held onto him tightly. They were passionate and she could feel her lips throbbing when he pulled away and said, "You're lucky I didn't put my lip gloss on."

"I noticed when you walked in," Castle said. "I had a feeling why."

"Cocky," Beckett said though she was smiling at him.

Not responding to that verbally, Castle leaned down and captured her lips with his own before they were kissing again. That time they were more sensuous and he shortly after felt her tongue sliding into his mouth. He rubbed his to hers and they literally danced back and forth between their mouths until they were pulling apart, their tongues following slowly after. "So…" he started to say.

Beckett couldn't help laughing softly and she leaned against him before she told him, "We have to stop. But I don't want to either." She was going to continue after that when he was kissing her lightly and speaking to her seriously to her slight surprise.

"When we come back I don't want to stop," Castle said.

"I hope you mean kissing me," Beckett told him. She smiled when he nodded slightly so his lips were brushing against her and said, "I'll make you."

"Boy I wish that were sexual," Castle said, not surprised when his wife laughed softly before they were sharing a brief kiss. He let her go and said, "Another day."

"We just have tomorrow Rick," Beckett told him.

"Still too long," Castle said. When she cupped his cheek he leaned down to her and kissed her lightly before they went to the entry and got their coats. "Kate," he said while they were putting on their scarves.

"Yes?" Beckett asked in amusement since he hadn't made that a question, but she had a feeling he was going to ask her something.

"Tomorrow you can pick where we go for lunch and dinner," Castle said.

"I don't have to," Beckett replied, getting her camera to check it.

"No, but-" Castle started to say before she was interrupting him.

"If you're doing that out of some mistaken thought I'm mildly looking forward to Monday, please stop," Beckett told him firmly. "I want it to get here already and spend that rolling around in bed with you, us joined by our groins. So tomorrow we choose together and know I've been wanting you for ages."

"Me too," Castle said. "And I didn't think you were mildly looking forward to it."

"No?" Beckett asked in surprise. When he shook his head slowly it came to her and she said, "I don't mind you fantasizing about me."

"I'm in the habit of thinking you do," Castle explained.

Beckett gestured her husband to her and after they shared a firm, slightly lingering kiss told him, "I'll have to discipline you to stop doing that."

"Do you want me to be able to walk out of here?" Castle asked her half-jokingly.

"Yes, which is why we're going now," Beckett replied. She smiled when he hurried to open the door for her, and they stepped out into the hall. They made their way through the casino and onto the Strip where her husband touched her shoulder lightly before he spoke in Irish to her surprise.

"Ar mhiste leat dá gcoinneoinn do lámh?" Castle asked, which meant 'would you mind if I held your hand.'

"Táim chun tú a dhéanamh mura ndéanann tú," Beckett told him teasingly since that meant 'I'm going to make you if you don't.' She couldn't help laughing when he rushed to take her left hand telling him, "Thank you love."

"You're welcome," Castle said, wishing she weren't wearing gloves since he'd wanted to kiss the back of her hand. They made their way south and he watched her taking pictures of the casinos and lights they were passing and on the other side of the street. When they made their way over the pedestrian bridge from Caesars to the Bellagio he noticed the fountain show was going and hurried her through the building and down to street level so they could catch the end of it.

Though she was annoyed at them having to let go of each other, Beckett was pleased with her pictures once she'd finished and said, "That was nice."

"It was, the girls will be jealous," Castle said, reaching for her hand while they were walking down the street again. He was startled when she squeezed his hand and looked at her questioningly before she spoke.

"No they won't," Beckett said firmly.

Castle was about to refute that before he realized what she meant and said, "Good point."

Beckett smiled and said, "I know, it's still weird they're pushing us to be alone."

"But we're not complaining," Castle said quickly.

"Oh no, as long as they're not," Beckett replied before they were sharing a smile. They'd reached the Aria and she stopped her husband before he opened the door to go inside for her, taking a picture looking straight up at the building. "Got it," she said while she looked at him and saw the way he was looking at her. She was startled when her husband suddenly grabbed for her, more so when all he did was brush his lips to hers before he murmured into her ear, breath tickling it and making her suddenly warm.

"I would have more if I could," Castle told her. "I'm going to later."

Feeling a shiver go through her body at how intent her husband's tone of voice was, Beckett squeezed his hand before she said, "I'll hold you to that."

"We… let me get the door for you," Castle said, going to it. After he opened the door he said, "I'm looking forward to this place; the reviews were great."

"I'm sure," Beckett replied with a smile at his distraction. She walked inside and they stepped to the side before taking off their outer layers and coats before she said, "Have you been in this one before?"

"I have," Castle replied. "I stayed here."

"I had a feeling," Beckett said when he stopped there abruptly. She was aware he was indicating the last time he'd been there after the protest bombing case and she said, "It's a little too…"

"Fancy?" Castle asked slowly.

"Younger," Beckett said while they watched a group of people walking by them to the Strip.

"Kate-" Castle began.

"I have a family now Rick," Beckett said, speaking in Irish. "I have my doubts any of them have thought of having that themselves where I enjoy mine greatly… and you." She smiled when he kissed the back of her hand and told him, "Visiting is fine."

"It is," Castle said. "And I agree with you completely."

"I'm really glad to hear that," Beckett replied.

"Ahead of Monday?" Castle asked.

"Yes," Beckett said. "Pervert," she added with a smile. As he inclined his head to her she said, "Are we going to be able to find it?"

"I've been watching the signs," Castle replied quickly. "Oh, here," he told her when he saw it ahead of them. Stepping up to the host at the front of the restaurant he gave his name, and they were immediately led through until they were more towards the back.

"Did you ask for this?" Beckett asked her husband while they set their things on one side of the table.

"Sort of," Castle replied before they were sitting together. "I asked if it was possible though. Luckily it was."

"Luckily," Beckett echoed in amusement while she was starting to look at the menu.

"Do you want wine?" Castle asked, looking at the menu for that.

"I think I'll pass," Beckett told him. "We had a drink earlier and we're planning on playing mini-golf so…"

"You know what, I agree," Castle replied.

"Are we going to make that a competition?" Beckett asked wryly.

Since their waiter was coming over to them Castle couldn't answer, and he ordered tea and water along with pot stickers for them before they were alone. "You know we could," he told her.

Smiling, Beckett said, "Let me think about it."

"Sure," Castle replied. "Anything standing out to you?"

"Beef broccoli," Beckett said.

"I was going to say," Castle said with a smile. "I'm thinking about the chicken breast and beef with ginger and pineapple."

"Maybe just one of those," Beckett said. "There are only two of us."

"Chicken?" Castle asked. When his wife nodded he then said, "Do you want something from the vegetables?"

"Mixed vegetables," Beckett replied. "I know you're thinking of noodles and rice, but I think we should opt for the individual servings of white rice." She tried not to laugh when he nodded before she said, "And just get chow mein," smiling when he was responding to that shortly after.

"Think we'll have leftovers?" Castle asked.

"Then we should just have one entrée," Beckett told him. She reached over to him and took his hand before the waiter returned with their drinks and their appetizer. While she let her husband pour the tea she said, "Don't make me choose and don't automatically pick the beef broccoli."

"But I was," Castle replied. "I feel like having that too."

"Alright," Beckett said since she could tell he was serious. She reached with her chopsticks for a pot sticker and put it on his plate before getting one of her own. "You know," she said with a smile. "Maybe we should pick between the rice and the chow mein too."

"Rice?" Castle asked. When she nodded, he leaned over and brushed his lips to hers before he said, "Okay, luckily we have that set because here comes the waiter."

Beckett wasn't surprised when her husband ordered the chow mein in the end after asking about the portions before she said, "I should have told you that."

"At least we'll just have one rice to share," Castle said. "And we're walking."

Finishing her pot sticker, Beckett said, "What're you thinking love?" in amusement.

"I want to go to the M&Ms store after New York," Castle answered promptly.

Smiling for a moment, Beckett then said, "I'm not surprised, but why?"

"Some M&Ms for the gir- baking, for baking cookies," Castle said, correcting himself in the middle.

"What about for the girls to bake with?" Beckett asked.

"Oh, nice," Castle said, not surprised when she was laughing.

"Yes, a little for dessert and then some for baking," Beckett replied once she had calmed down. "But don't go crazy."

"Not with you there," Castle replied. He was going to continue when he said, "That wasn't insulting was it?"

"No," Beckett said, leaning against him briefly since she had spotted their waiter with their food. After they had everything, they were serving themselves though her husband had tried to do it for her at first. "Thank you," she told him.

"I try," Castle said. He was startled when his wife tugged on the front of his shirt and he was moving to kiss her gently before he said, "You're beautiful love."

Brushing her lips to his Beckett then said, "Tell me that on Monday."

"I will," Castle said, leaning into her and kissing her lightly before she kept him close and whispered into his ear.

"You look great, but I want to see you without your clothes on desperately," Beckett said. She wasn't surprised when he grabbed her hand a little roughly before he pulled away and said, "I'm sure you're thinking the same."

"I am," Castle replied. "But for now…" he said before they turned their attention to their food. He did his best to focus on that though he was glancing at his wife every so often until she touched his shoulder and spoke.

"I'm glad you picked here," Beckett told him.

"It is good," Castle said with a nod. He picked up her hand to kiss the back of it and then said, "I'm glad I looked specifically for Chinese food."

"So am I," Beckett replied before she finished the last of her chow mein. They had finished by then and she said, "I'm stuffed again."

"We are walking," Castle pointed out. "But I am too. I was going to talk about dessert but… after the arcade."

Smiling at him adding that though they'd agreed on it already, Beckett said, "Should the loser buy for us?"

"Okay," Castle said, smiling when his wife was laughing softly. Watching her though she soon stopped as he was gazing at her, but their waiter was coming with the bill and he gave the man his card. "I wasn't thinking of the M&Ms being dessert," he told her to use for a distraction since his urge to kiss her was still strong.

"I had a feeling," Beckett replied. She squeezed his arm briefly and then turned her attention to getting up to grab her things, not surprised when he was talking to her in some concern.

"Good?" Castle asked.

"I am," Beckett said with a nod. "I just want to be ready."

Castle nodded and watched her putting on her coat before he saw the waiter returning. After he had his card back in his wallet he turned to go to the other side of the table when he paused as Beckett was walking up to him with his coat ready. "A guy could get used to this," he told her teasingly while he slipped his arms into it.

"Don't," Beckett said, using the same tone of voice. She wasn't surprised when her husband turned, and they shared a brief kiss before they got their gloves and scarves on. She got her camera ready, and they left the restaurant where she began taking pictures of the hotel's décor for the girls to get a chance to see.

Back out on the Strip, Castle and Beckett walked south again towards New York, New York though they paused every so often when she'd take pictures. After they'd reached the northern most part of the hotel, they walked along it while Beckett took several in succession until they'd gotten to the Statue of Liberty on the corner.

"Panoramic?" Castle asked his wife after she'd taken a picture of the statue above them.

"I hope," Beckett replied before she took his hand and walked with him to the nearest entrance. "It depends on my set up."

"I think you'll get it," Castle said before they were inside. "Now while I saw this place in the brochure, I have no idea where it is."

"They should have it on the signs," Beckett said before they were walking down the path a little to reach the first one they could see. She was relieved the course name was there and they made their way through the casino until they were going through a door with the course's name over it.

"While I think this is a good idea," Castle told his wife. "I'm not sure how I feel about the name."

"Maybe it's just Manhattan," Beckett commented since the name of the course was Manhattan Midway.

"But it's not a midway," Castle said.

"What have you always told me?" Beckett replied easily. "Alliteration." She smiled when her husband grumbled before they got into line and waited to get their clubs before they decided to get a locker as well.

"You're going to bring your camera, right?" Castle asked his wife.

"Of course I am," Beckett said, putting it over her husband's neck. "If you don't mind."

"I never do," Castle said. They leaned a little into each other but stopped before their lips could meet since there were other people at the lockers around them. "Let's get playing," he said, not surprised when his wife nodded in agreement.

Heading out to the first hole, Beckett smiled when it was hitting the golf ball through a giant apple, and she looked at her husband to see what he would say as he opened his mouth to speak.

"A little too on the nose," Castle commented. "Also misleading."

"What, you never saw the giant apples on 5th Avenue?" Beckett asked teasingly.

"Must have been a hidden part of the street," Castle said in mock annoyance. He smiled when she laughed and told him, "Go first love."

Beckett squeezed his hand before she turned her attention to the course and set down her ball. Hitting it through she watched while her husband followed her, and they proceeded through the course. After they'd gone through the holes with skyscrapers, taxis and houses among other obstacles she said, "That wasn't too bad."

"No, and I'm not surprised the Statue was last," Castle said, looking back at the Statue of Liberty which had been the eighteenth hole. "But we have to bring the girls."

"Of course, we won't be able to take them everywhere," Beckett said. "And we have to since you insisted on a picture at every one." She smiled when he nodded, and they went to return their clubs before getting their things from the lockers. "I have to admit-" she started to say.

"I'm hungry for dessert," Castle said at the same time she did. He smiled when she looked at him in surprise and said, "I thought you might be. And I did have somewhere in mind."

"The crêpe place?" Beckett asked when they left the golf course. When her husband nodded, she smiled and said, "I'm in," not surprised at his shock before he was speaking quickly.

"Great," Castle said.

"But we are splitting one," Beckett told him.

"Should we Roshambo to see who chooses?" Castle asked.

"I think we can pick together love," Beckett replied with a smile.

Since his wife had taken his hand and was entwining their fingers Castle could only nod and squeeze at them a little tighter. They'd reached the area that looked like the streets of the city, and he saw they were approaching the crêpe restaurant. He was pleased they needed to study the menu as it allowed them to hold hands for a little longer. He wasn't surprised when his wife suggested the strawberry crêpe and he nodded his agreement before he went to get a table.

Watching her ordering once he was sitting, Castle smiled and watched her walking back to him with a bottle of water and glasses. "You know what I just realized?" he asked her.

"What?" Beckett said, sitting while he poured water for them.

"We didn't keep score," Castle replied.

"No we didn't," Beckett said simply after she took a sip of water. When she put her glass down, she was startled at how intently her husband was staring at her and said, "What's wrong?"

Castle moved and whispered into his wife's ear, "You're fucking gorgeous Kate."

Beckett's breath became a little rough at his tone, but she soon whispered to him, "I still want you Rick-" She had been about to tell her husband that they should do something to ease the tension between them, but her name was called at the counter. "I'll be back," she said a little lamely.

Squeezing his wife's hand when she left, Castle knew she was feeling the same as he was, and he tried not to become frustrated again. Finally he turned his attention to the plate she held and said once she put it down, "Looks great."

"It does," Beckett said before she was sitting again. She let him split the dessert and they began to eat in silence before he was taking her hand and speaking to her in Irish.

"I know what you were going to say," Castle told her.

"I'm not surprised," Beckett replied. "Are we crazy doing this for so long?"

"I think the fact we're on our own is making it worse," Castle said after thinking that over for a moment. "But it's either we bring the girls over here or we try and handle tomorrow."

Smiling Beckett said as they let go of each other, "At least it's only one more day." She wasn't surprised when he nodded and then said, "But this is really good."

"Very, I'm glad you got a picture," Castle said, switching to English as she was.

"I think you would have remembered," Beckett pointed out to him. She quickly ate another bite before she said, "Remember how you were talking about a competition?"

"Yeah," Castle said, surprised she wanted to bring that up.

"There is the arcade," Beckett told him.

"Isn't that a little unfair?" Castle asked.

"It depends on what we play," Beckett said.

"Okay," Castle replied. They were watching the people walking by them then while they finished their crêpes and once they had he said, "Are you ready for the staircase?"

"Yes," Beckett said with a soft laugh as she was getting up while he threw away their trash. "You?"

"I am," Castle said. "One thing, we're not playing one of the basketball games."

"No, that would be unfair," Beckett replied because neither of them were good at that. "But maybe skeeball."

"Maybe," Castle said before they made their way to the staircase leading up to the arcade and roller coaster.

Looking around, Beckett said, "I think it might have to be skeeball." She turned her attention to her husband and asked with a smile, "Are you sure?"

"I'm fine with that," Castle replied. "Best out of three?"

"No," Beckett said with a laugh. "Just one game, or else we'll spend all our time here," she said.

Getting cards to use to pay for the games, Castle followed her to the game where they found they had them to themselves. "We could still do more than one game," he pointed out to his wife, picking up the first ball.

"Without competing," Beckett told him.

Throwing, Castle was satisfied he'd gotten a thirty and told his wife, "Sure, it's not attractive?"

"No," Beckett said simply. She smiled and said, "But this one we are."

"Noted," Castle said before he focused on his game. When he finished, he was pleased to see he'd gotten one hundred and fifty before he looked at the machine his wife was in front of. "I almost thought I had you," he said.

"You almost did," Beckett told him with a smile since she had ten points more. "But I'll be lenient," she said, speaking in Irish.

"Are you sure?" Castle asked with a smile since she had been very nonchalant.

"Very," Beckett replied, intending to ask him what he wanted to do next when he was talking first.

"I'd love to walk around and see everything before we pick the next game," Castle told her.

"I'll follow your lead," Beckett said, reaching for her husband's hand. She wasn't surprised when he entwined their fingers immediately and they began walking around looking at the different games. "Anything?" she asked in amusement.

"Sure," Castle replied.

Beckett couldn't help laughing at his exaggerated tone and she let him take her to the game he'd spotted, glad he'd thought of the place to keep them distracted.

Knocking on the doorway of his wife's bathroom, Castle wasn't surprised when she told him to come inside in annoyance since he knew she was feigning it.

"You realize if I didn't want you here I would have kept the door closed," Beckett said in amusement.

"Yes, but Mother taught me to be polite," Castle replied, reaching under the vanity at her counter and pulling out the seat already there. Sitting he told her, "And I was feeling lonely."

"Oh really?" Beckett asked while she was taking off her makeup.

"And it's a smaller bathroom," Castle added, smiling when she laughed softly. "Mind if I watch you?" he asked, not surprised when she smirked a little at him before she responded.

"Why bother asking?" Beckett said. "And to be honest this isn't very glamourous."

"It doesn't need to be," Castle said seriously. He smiled when his wife glanced at him, putting his elbows on the counter in front of him so he could prop his head on his hand to better watch.

"Okay," Beckett said before she turned her attention to finishing. She then washed her face, not surprised her husband handed her a towel, and she thanked him once she could look at him.

"Not a problem," Castle said, speaking a little absently. "What's next."

Beckett couldn't help smiling, her husband staring around at her toiletries, and she picked up the cream she put on her face. "I can do this myself," she said.

"I could pretend I'm giving you a facial," Castle commented.

"It's a risk love," Beckett said while she started to apply it.

Watching her Castle said, "What do you want to do after this? It's still early." He wasn't surprised when she looked at her father's watch and said, "Unless you want to go to bed early."

"No," Beckett said. "We can just watch TV," she then told him with a smile. "And then sleep."

"That's what I was hoping for," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when she looked at him with a startled expression on her face and told her, "I'm still aiming for Monday. But like we said we're so not doing this for a long time."

"So that's a no on doing it for Hawaii," Beckett commented. She wasn't surprised when he hesitated and reminded him, "We were going to see how it went once we got closer to the trip. Leave it for now Rick," watching him nodding before he spoke.

"Are you still set on tomorrow's plans?" Castle asked her.

"I am," Beckett replied. "You don't mind skipping the cats?"

"No, but the girls…" Castle started to say.

"I thought of that, but they do have some shirts in the shop by the café," Beckett told him.

"Why don't we just get some from the aquarium? You were worried about them having too many," Castle reminded her.

"I know," Beckett said. "And Josie has enough tiger things," she added with a smile.

"Agreed," Castle said, smiling when she laughed. "But I just hope we have enough to do during the day, the aquarium doesn't have that much."

"We can take our time," Beckett said, taking her hair down from the ponytail it was in. Since she'd finished she cupped her husband's cheek and made her way over to the bedroom, hearing him scrambling to follow behind her. "I couldn't help it," she told him as he came out and walked up to her.

"I figured," Castle said, brushing his lips to hers. He reluctantly let her go and said, "Do you want anything to drink? Tea?"

Shaking her head Beckett said while she walked around the bed and slipped under the sheets, "I think we should go to bed soon, if we're walking around the Strip that much we'll need the rest."

"True," Castle said, taking off his robe and getting under the covers. "Anything you want to watch?"

"Look around, see what's on," Beckett replied while she leaned against him and wrapped her arms around him tightly. When she felt her husband wrapping his arm around her waist she smiled and pressed her cheek to his shoulder while they watched the TV screen.

"If you see something you want to watch," Castle told her. "Just let me know and I'll stop."

"Are you going to play roulette?" Beckett asked with a smile. Something came to her then and she said, "We never gambled."

"No, but I don't mind going to the M&Ms store instead," Castle replied quickly, not surprised when she was laughing.

"I'm not surprised, there the twelve-year-old came out," Beckett teased him.

"You can't blame me, a wall of chocolate?" Castle asked. He smiled when she cuddled closer before he was telling her, "Nothing."

"No, keep going," Beckett replied, smiling as she recalled earlier that night when they'd gone to the candy store.

"Kate," Castle told his wife.

"What?" Beckett asked.

"Are we just getting a little bit of candy for them?" Castle asked.

"Yes love; we don't need to spoil them," Beckett said. "And we got shirts for them last time."

"Not Josie," Castle told her swiftly.

"No, but we don't know what color she'd like," Beckett said, not surprised he'd noticed the merchandise for each color ahead of them.

"So when she's older…" Castle started to say before his wife was finishing that for him.

"We'll get one for her," Beckett promised. "Come on, it's getting later."

"Yeah," Castle said though it was barely eight-twenty. They'd discussed spending the rest of their night before sleeping together in their room and they wanted to return. He followed her up to the third floor on the escalators before they stepped out to the floor and walked towards the back before he went a little ahead of his wife at nearly a jog.

"Why are you so eager?" Beckett said jokingly when he handed her a plastic bag for the candies.

"You aren't? I know you do like chocolate," Castle said.

"Yes, but I have a little more decorum," Beckett said seriously before she was smiling when her husband looked at her with wide eyes. "Come here," she told him before he leaned down. They shared a brief kiss and she told him, "You're adorable."

"I'd rather be ruggedly handsome," Castle said firmly.

"Then don't get hyper," Beckett replied easily.

"Okay," Castle said. He smiled when his wife laughed and followed her to the first of the M&Ms. "How're we picking?" he asked.

"Get a little of the teal ones for Eliza," Beckett said. "And the rest you know what she likes."

"You're getting for Julia?" Castle asked her. When his wife nodded, he watched her going to the peanut butter ones; their second oldest's favorite and he was turning to get Eliza's.

Grabbing some more flavors, Beckett was careful not to get too much before she was tying off the bag. "I'll get for Dad, but you need to take care of Alexis and Martha's bags," she told her husband while he grabbed a twist-tie next to her.

"I thought so," Castle replied. "But that means you need to get some for Louis."

"I remember what he likes," Beckett said with a smile. She squeezed his arm and they split up again for the last of the bags, letting her husband mark the one for her father and their son in law since he had a Sharpie. "Good thing you have that," she told him.

"I know, but it's good to have just in case," Castle replied, taking the bags. "Will you grab the ones for baking?"

"Of course," Beckett said, trying not to smile since she knew her husband was serious. But she was aware he was checking to see she was going to okay them getting the M&Ms. She grabbed a larger bag of plain ones and another of the mini telling Castle while he was watching her in obvious surprise, "In case we want to do more baking… or for decorating."

"The girls will love you for that; especially Eliza," Castle commented.

Beckett laughed and said, "I thought of that already. And I don't mind." She took her husband's swift kiss to her cheek after that before they made their way to the nearest register to pay and make it back out to the street.

"Are you asleep?" Castle asked his wife.

"No," Beckett said with a smile.

"Just checking," Castle said, kissing the top of her head. "I didn't think you'd want to watch this."

"Why would I have a problem with Casino?" Beckett said.

"Okay," Castle replied. He paused and said, "You know I just realized?"

"It's a coincidence," Beckett told her husband since one of the murders in the movie had been based on an actual mob hit they'd seen a picture of at the museum.

"Aren't we supposed to be here for Valentine's Day though?" Castle asked her.

"I think we fulfilled our rom-com quota," Beckett replied. "And I'm surprised at you being the one to say that."

"Me too," Castle commented. When his wife laughed briefly before she leaned up and kissed his cheek he turned his head swiftly down to her. He kissed her lightly on the lips and said, "Tell me to stop Kate."

"Not yet," Beckett breathed before she wrapped her arms around him, and they kissed again. She wasn't surprised when it didn't last long or when he pulled her onto his lap. Though she knew it was risky to do that, she wrapped her arms back around his neck and they were kissing deeply. She allowed his tongue into her mouth, and they were tangling around one another for some time before they parted, and she leaned her forehead against his.

"We're missing the movie," Castle told his wife, panting a little for air.

"I don't care; I've seen it before," Beckett replied before she was leaning into him.

Clinging at one another tightly, Castle and Beckett lost themselves in each other for some time while the movie was playing in the background. They were parting every so often and hearing the dialogue, but that never broke them from what they were doing, including gunshots. They finally stopped when they were both aware of toeing the line between being able to stop and losing control, turning their attention to the movie.

"We missed a lot," Castle said with a smile when he saw where it was at that point.

"Again, I've seen it," Beckett told him with a smile though she settled against him. "Are you okay with me here?" she said when recalled how long they'd been kissing.

"Are you?" Castle asked seriously. "It can't be comfortable." He saw the look on her face and asked, "What?"

"Do you realize how weird this conversation is?" Beckett asked in amusement.

"Now I do," Castle replied as he thought that over. "Should you move?"

"I really don't want to," Beckett told him honestly. They shared a kiss that lingered a little but didn't become too passionate and she told him, "But it's up to you."

"A little longer," Castle replied. When she nodded and leaned against him he told her, "Also I don't think we'll be able to finish the movie."

"I didn't think so," Beckett replied with a smile. "It's a long movie."

"Good thing I've seen it too," Castle said with a smile before he was kissing her temple. They watched a little more of the movie before he was gently rubbing her upper arm and she was saying his name gently.

"Rick?" Beckett asked.

"Yeah love?" Castle asked, rubbing her arm again.

"Do you mind I insisted we take the TV out of our room?" Beckett said.

"No," Castle replied. "It became our room, and you were right it was too much of a distraction." He paused for a moment before he told her, "Though we're really lucky we didn't end up with our eight kids in this life."

Beckett was unable to keep herself from laughing and she pressed her face into her husband's neck as she shook.

"I know, Mother used to say her dad joked that that was what happened when two Irish fell in love," Castle said, reaching up and running his fingers through her hair. When she pulled back he said, "Remember he and Mother's mother were partially Irish."

"I remember," Beckett replied. She then leaned against him and said, "Turn off the TV Rick, it's annoying me."

"Sure," Castle said, hurrying to do so. He kissed her temple before he set the remote aside and told her, "But she told me he and her mother joked about that since they only had her and my uncle. Apparently they had friends in London before they moved to the city who had ten."

"Ten?" Beckett asked in surprise.

"Yeah, they lost touch with them though so Mother said she couldn't confirm that," Castle replied.

"Cautionary tale?" Beckett asked.

"Half tale, half-truth?" Castle replied with his own question.

Smiling, Beckett kissed him and then said, "At least it worked."

"It did, but now the TV is off I'm a little bored," Castle said.

"You realize I might think you're talking about me," Beckett replied.

"And you know I'm not," Castle told her firmly.

Nodding Beckett shared a kiss with him before she said, "Maybe we should go to bed."

"Probably," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when she laughed and said, "Okay, I'll let you go."

Beckett wasn't surprised when her husband wasn't and kissing her deeply before they tore themselves apart. She moved to her side of the bed and watched her husband getting up before he took off his glasses. While he covered the windows and doors with the curtains she asked, "You shouldn't have done that first?"

"I think I can manage," Castle said. "And see. Now if I'd done the lights first…"

Smiling at her husband's tone of voice, Beckett watched him move to turn off the lights before he came around to her side of the bed. "Are you going to climb over me again?" she asked teasingly. She laughed when he suddenly leaned over onto the bed on top of her and told him, "You're incredibly rude."

"If we were naked and the sheets weren't in the way you wouldn't be saying that," Castle replied, raising his head to look at her.

"Get into bed love," Beckett told him, a smile on her face. She watched him climb over her before she shared a kiss with him and said, "I'll get the last one."

Watching her turn the light off above him, Castle settled the covers on her before they were in the dark. They laid down together and he shared a kiss with her once his eyes had adjusted enough before he said, "I love you, Kate."

Since her husband had spoken against her lips Beckett kissed him lightly and said softly, "I love you too. Only one more day."

"I'm going to end up dreaming of you," Castle warned her.

"I'll do the same about you; I did last night," Beckett replied with a smile.

"Me too," Castle said before they kissed tenderly. When they parted, he watched his wife settle on his chest before he kissed her forehead and they murmured goodnight. He felt her sleeping soon against him and he settled down to do the same, letting his dreams take him over gladly since they were all about Beckett wrapped tight in his arms.
