Chapter 20: Might Tower!

"Listen I'm telling you! You have to have been there!" Skyler was exclaiming again, a piece of shrimp still in his chopsticks as he was moving them around as he told his story, "Our Great Uncle Deadshot was the one who brought down the S-Ranked Villain, The Black Rider."

"Yeah." Felix cut in after throwing his chopsticks into his empty bowl, "With the help of five other heroes! You always seem to leave out that part."

"Come on, don't be a spoil sport!" Skyler pouted as he leaned back in his chair, only for it to almost tip over, resulting in a funny moment where everyone laughed at him as he briefly flailed his arms as he struggled not to fall over. Once up and while everyone was laughing he retorted back pointing a finger at his brother, "At least I didn't get kicked in the balls that one time for—"

"Shhhhhhhhhh!"

"So what did you do in the illustrious hero course so far today?" Kaito asked as they all finished laughing at Skyler's near accident and the near revealing of one of Felix's secrets.

Izuku's face reddened. Before their general morning classes had started, Vlad King had suggested that they hold an election for class representatives. They had everyone come up to the podium and say why they should be class rep. His ears were still smarting from hearing Iida's and Yoarashi's unreasonably loud explanations as to why they should be class reps.

Other people said they weren't just interested, like Shiozaki, Bondo, Izuku and Hiro. However… that did not stop Izuku being elected as Vice Representative with Itsuka Kendo being elected as Class Representative. Iida was still a sourpuss that he wasn't elected.

Izuku was miffed because this is almost a recreation of what happened back at Soumei. He was repeatedly elected class representative simply because he had multiple quirks and it appeared the same thing had repeated at UA. He was just glad that he wasn't elected full on representative and only got second place.

Needless to say, he was still miffed that they wouldn't accept his immediate resignation upon being bequeathed the position. Back at Soumei they caved in after he gave a hissy fit that he didn't want the job. He just had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to get away with that with his new peers.

It turned out that both of Izuku's and Hiro's support and business course reps got elected to be their class reps for their respective classes. Unofficially their lunch table was sort of as now known as the Class Rep table as a result. Hiro on the other hand, was glad not to have a spotlight shining on him, and could tease his foster brother relentlessly about having to deal with UA student politics.

"So I was thinking—" Alex began saying but he was cut off by an announcement from the PA system.

"LEVEL 3 SECURITY BREACH! PLEASE EVACUATE IN AN ORDERLY FASHION!"

"Guys! That means!" Izuku said as he looked around at the others at the table as their eyes collectively went wide. Having attended orientation, they were briefed on what a Level 3 Security breach actually was and knew how serious the situation must be.

The group quickly got out of their chairs and started rushing towards the stairwell. However, they quickly got caught in a human traffic jam.

"This is ridiculous!" Kaito called out as held onto Felix and Skyler who were by far the shortest of the group, "How in Shiozaki's definition of Hell are we supposed to get out when we are all trapped like this?"

Izuku then pressed up against the window, actually caught a glimpse of the press that managed to get past the main gates and were harassing Present Mic and Eraser Head at the main doors.

"Kaito!" Izuku called out, Nakamoto being the only one he could clearly see, "I'm going to lift you up above everyone else and I need you to shout that it is just the press and we all need to stay calm!"

Kaito to his credit, while his face was flushed with early embarrassment, nodded as Izuku used his quirk to levitate his classmate above everyone as he called out for everyone to calm down and that it was just the press causing trouble. The riot died down immediately after that.

As the group passed the empty staff office, Izuku thought he saw the door click shut. He blinked because there was clearly no one there, and when he opened the door to look in he saw no one.

"What's up Izuku?" Hiro asked as his brother closed the door.

"Nothing," Izuku sighed, "I just thought I heard this door close."

"Did you see anyone?" Asked Felix, an inquisitive look on his face.

"No…" Izuku said slowly, not sure whether or not he trusted his short term memory.

"Must have been your imagination Izuku." Tenya argued, "You are still probably hyped up from that fiasco of an evacuation in the cafeteria."

"Yeah, you're probably right." Izuku agreed as they headed back to their individual classrooms.

Not long after they had all gathered back at their desks and were discussing and theorizing how the press managed to get past the UA barrier, Kan-Sensei walked back into the room.

"Normally we would be having a heroics class." He went on to explain, "But given what just happened with the press, afternoon classes have been cancelled. Please head back to the dorms and relax where we all know where you'll be. Those who have permission to head home for the weekend, please wait for your guardians to pick you up."

Slowly the class filed out, some like Haimawari, Yoarashi, and Testsutetsu mumbling that they were missing out on possibly training with All Might again. While the others mumbled about having to wait for their parent's to get off work to come and collect them, not being allowed to go home like they normally would be able to thanks to the extenuating circumstances. Then there was Shishida who just wanted to get back to his chemistry experiment that he was running in his dorm room.

"So do you have your bag packed Hiro?" Izuku asked his blue haired foster brother as they walked back into the dorm, "Toshinori-Sama shouldn't be long to take us back to my mom's."

"Actually we won't be going back to your mother's place." Toshi said as both Hiro and Izuku, as well as a few other boys jumped as he came up upon them silently. "I was able to convince your mother to move into my condo in Might Tower in Minato, Tokyo."

"Wait really?!" Izuku said with sheer excitement, "We are moving into THEE Might Tower!?"

"Yep," Toshi said with a smile as the rest of his male classmates stared at them with open mouths, "I was able to convince your mother that it was safer given…." However his voice trailed off, he didn't want to reveal too much about Hiro's past to the rest of the first year boys, "Given that there are few villain attacks near Might Tower. Plus my unit is on a very high floor of the tower."

However this is when Bakugo decided to make his presence known, and in typical Bakugo fashion, he wasn't in a good mood.

"So is it true you worked for All Might?" Bakugo said bluntly as he walked up to Toshinori, hands in his pockets. "Was Deku really telling the truth?"

Toshinori for his part, narrowed his eyes. "Yes, everything Young MIDORIYA has said is true about me having worked for All Might in the past, including his training regimen and all. I also happen to know that All Might personally told me he was extremely disappointed to know that you got yourself suspended from the next hero course exercise for your extremely poorly thought out and heartless actions during his first lesson, which because of your actions, turned his first lesson into an ordeal he really didn't want to have to deal with, especially on his first day of teaching no less. I myself reviewed the footage, and as someone who has analyzed thousands of actual hero vs villains fights I agree that what you did was beyond reckless. When I had to call your mother and tell her exactly what you did, she was beyond livid. I don't envy your weekend at home. Something about taking two strikes away?"

The more Toshinori spoke, the more Bakugo's face turned to horror and shock, "Anyways, I can't stay here much longer. I made the mistake of telling your mother why you are coming home earlier than usual and she is quite frantic. I suggest you finish packing quickly so as to make our arrival have less tears and yelling as possible."

"Yes Toshinori-Sama!" Izuku and Hiro said in unison as they both rushed to the stairwell to head up to their rooms to get their bags. As they both passed Bakugo who simply walked back to the couch in the common area, a look of pure terror on his face as he thought about how his parents would behave once they got out of earshot of his classmates.

It wasn't long before both boys appeared sprinting across the common room with duffle bags over their shoulders.

"Toshinori-Sama!" Izuku called as he approached his mentor, "I was just thinking! What about the plants that I had at my mom's? And what about our stuff from our room?"

"I'm afraid your mother gave away all the plants at your old place." Toshi explained to an Izuku who looked as though his soul had just been forcefully ripped from his body, and thus he quickly backpedaled, "But I'm sure I can ask All Might's staff if it would be okay for you to use the greenhouses at Might Tower!"

That managed to cheer Izuku up a little bit as they walked across campus towards the staff parking lot. However, he was still mourning the loss of the plants he had spent years cultivating and raising.

"Cheer up Izuku." Hiro said patting his shoulder as they were stuck in rush hour traffic, "I'm sure you'll have access to more amazing plants at Might Tower…"

"You don't understand Hiro." Izuku sighed as he overdramatically stared out the window with his hand on his chin as he gazed at every slow moving traffic.

"Why wouldn't I understand Izuku?" Hiro decided to probe, however Izuku chose to be an overdramatic teenager and not respond and instead continued to sulk as they drove deeper into central Tokyo.

Is Izuku Dating Reiko? Group Chat:

Water Droplet: Izuku is being a Drama Queen.

Philosopher's Stone: Sounds like he is impersonating my dear brother.

Iron Man: I AM NOT A DRAMA QUEEN SKYLER!

Paint Pallet: ….

Coffee Mug: ….

Engine: ….

Iron Man: Okay… But only a little bit….

Philosopher's Stone: Sure….. If you want I can share numerous stories of you being all Drama Queen.

Iron Man: I wouldn't say numerous.

Philosopher's Stone: You went on an hour long monologue when your high school crush said no when you asked her out.

Iron Man: Her betrayal will never be forgotten…

Paint Pallet: ….

Coffee Mug: ….

Engine: ….

Water Droplet: ….

Philosopher's Stone: … She said no because you were moving to Japan and she didn't want to do long distance…

Iron Man: It's not my fault I have a thing for gingers…

Water Droplet: So does that mean you have a thing for the Class 1-B Prez Itsuka Kendo?

Iron Man: No!

Coffee Mug: That response came way too fast for someone who was innocent.

Iron Man: I am innocent! I don't have a crush on Kendo!

Engine: And Orange Juice doesn't give me fuel for my quirk.

Paint Pallet: So that's why you drink nothing but that stuff?

Engine: I drink loads of other stuff!

Coffee Mug: Like whiskey?

Engine: I WOULD NEVER!

Philosopher's Stone: Guys! We need to spice Iida's OJ with whiskey!

Water Droplet: That actually sounds like it would taste kind of gross.

Paint Pallet: How would you know what Whiskey tastes like?

Water Droplet:

Water Droplet: I had a sip once.

Engine: Hiro Fuji! Of all the irresponsible acts! I would have never believed you would've done something so villainous!

Coffee Mug: Cool your jets Iida. Having a sip of whiskey isn't villainous. I sometimes like to add some of my parent's cinnamon whiskey to hot chocolate on a cold winter day.

Engine: Alexander Adachi! You too!

Philosopher's Stone: Relax Iida. Just because you are no fun doesn't mean the rest of us are if you catch my drift. Besides we got off topic. We were discussing whether or not Felix has a crush on Itsuka Kendo.

Iron Man: I thought we had already moved on from that topic!

Philosopher's Stone: And I am bringing us right back around dear brother.

Iron Man: What makes you think I have a crush on Kendo?

Philosopher's Stone: She's totally your type bro.

Iron Man: And do tell me, why is she my type dear brother?

Philosopher's Stone: She is a ginger, she is strong and muscular, she has teal eyes and teal is one of your favorite colors. Do I need to mention she has a leader kind of attitude which is totally your shtick?

Iron Man:

Coffee Mug: He's got you good.

Paint Pallet: Indeed

Water Droplet: Can't unsee it now.

Engine: Even with my abysmal vision, I can see it crystal clear.

Iron Man: I hate you all.

A short time later….

"We are approaching Might Tower boys." Toshi called out which finally took Hiro off his phone and Izuku out of his sulking as they both looked up towards Might Tower as they approached, craning their necks to see the top.

Toshi then pulled into an underground parking garage and they looked straight ahead again as they massaged their necks. They kept on driving down, 10 levels down, 15 levels down, 25 levels down. Soon they started to feel a bit queasy as they kept on descending in circles, over and over again till they reached sub-basement level 42.

"Toshi." Izuku began as they got out of the old pick up, "Why did we have to drive down so many levels?"

"Well…" Toshi began to explain, "I don't want anyone finding my truck…"

"Yagi." Hiro sighed as he took his bag out of the bed of the truck, "Your truck is really a POS. Can't you afford a nice car like Inko?"

"Nice cars haven't really been my thing." Toshi shrugged as the two boys moaned.

"Here I was thinking we would find a collection of supercars down this low." Hiro groaned as they followed Toshi to an elevator to take them up his condo.

His condo happened to be the Penthouse on the top floor of Might Tower. As they stepped out they were greeted with a large view of Tokyo Bay from the massive living room.

"Take your shoes off boys and feel free to explore and look around." Called their mother's voice from somewhere else in the penthouse, "I already unpacked all of your things from your old room. You each have your own individual rooms now. I decided to pick them out for you boys since they are carbon copies of each other."

"Thank you very much Mom/Inko!" Izuku and Hiro called out as they finished putting on the 'at home slippers'

"I'm afraid I must leave you two boys." Toshi sighed, "I need to head downstairs to the office to do some paperwork."

Both boys chuckled at the thought of All Might doing paperwork.

"Hey watch it! Soon it will be both of your turns to do mountains of paperwork!" Toshi shot back as he pointed his finger at the boys. "By the way, I decided to help decorate your rooms as a surprise. I hope you like them."

With that he left and Izuku and Hiro hefted their bags again and they walked through the penthouse to find their individual rooms.

Starting right in front of them was an expansive living room with a ceiling that was clearly two stories tall. There was a gas fireplace at one end of the room with a trio of large couches surrounding it with two large arm leather tufted armchairs right beside it. On the other end of the living room was another seating area that descended into a pit that looked upon a large projector screen, there must have been a high quality projector hidden nearby, but neither boy could see it. Separating the space was a giant red grand piano that was playing with itself.

The boys walked toward the right and found a closed door labeled: Toshi's Home Office. Hiro was against sneaking in a quick peek, but Izuku couldn't help himself. Arguing to his fellow brethren that they would be in this room sooner than later. Inside was a wood paneled room with a large wooden desk that wouldn't be out of place in the White House. There was another fireplace, oddly enough this one was wood burning given the evidence of the metal grate in front of it and the soot stained brick lining. The walls were lined with old fashioned books and on the wall was a picture of a woman who Izuku guessed was Nana Shimura, All Might's teacher.

Backing out they walked along a hallway lined with pictures of pro heroes, framed newspaper clippings, and paintings, passing an arcade room that had loads of Skeeball, Pinball, Air Hockey, and Arcade Machines. They passed a couple of guest rooms that had generic furnishings with ensuites. There were a few more fun rooms too, apparently Hiro and Izuku had their own little offices.

Izuku's office had all sixty plus of his hero notebooks lined up on bookshelves along with various books about heroes and the business in general. There was a nifty triple monitor setup that Izuku was dying to go gaming on.

Hiro's office was very similar to Izuku's. The main difference was the lack of books on the shelves. Izuku summarized that All Might didn't know what might interest Hiro in terms of reading material and thus didn't want to spend a bunch of money buying books he wouldn't be interested in. They eventually nearly circled around to the kitchen where they found Inko cooking dinner on an eight burner gas stove.

As Izuku looked around the kitchen, he got jealous that he wasn't cooking dinner tonight. Apart from the eight burner stove top that was on top of a center island, there were 2 sets of stainless steel double ovens behind her. There were two sets of sinks facing the windows and the central Tokyo skyline. The walls were lined with pristine cabinetry, and there were four dishwashers which made him jealous that they didn't have that many back in the dorms. The best part of the kitchen in Izuku's opinion were the countertops which were ivory white with strands of sparkling veins of gold flowing through them.

Izuku felt a sharp jab in the small of his back and looked towards his brother who pointed at his mouth. Izuku put his hand up and with a pang of embarrassment realized he had actually been drooling.

"Shut it." Izuku whispered as Hiro managed to get a fit of the giggles at Izuku's behavior, "Or I will find a way to get back at you."

"Sorry boys, you will have to wait a few more hours till dinner is ready." Inko sighed as she looked up from a pot of boiling water, "I only just got started on dinner. I was expecting you two to be here so soon."

"Mom." Izuku said, stepping forward, again wiping his mouth with his sleeve to double make sure he didn't have any drool left. "Why didn't you tell us that we were moving in with All Might? I could've moved my plants over here."

"I'm sorry Izuku." Inko said patting her son on the cheek after giving him a hug, "I wanted it to be a surprise. Besides, here you both get your own rooms. It's a much nicer place overall and much safer given we never know if Waira might come after Hiro."

At the mention of Waira, Hiro tensed up and began shaking a bit.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry Hiro!" Inko cried out as she rushed over to him, Niagara Falls coming out of her eyes as she hugged him. "I didn't mean to speak his name. I'm sorry Hiro! Please forgive me!"

"It's okay Inko…" Hiro said with a shaky voice, his eyes fully open, but slowly closing back to normal as he shakily put his arms around Inko, "It had to be said. It would have crossed my mind eventually."

"Please let me make it up to you." Inko said as she patted his uniform back down, "Is there anything special you wanted to eat for dinner or dessert?"

"Can we have bacon for dinner?" Hiro asked, looking hopeful. However, Inko's face turned into a deadpan.

"For the forty-seventh time Hiro, you can't have just bacon for dinner. Besides, bacon is a food only appropriate for breakfast." Inko said with zero emotion in her voice.

"Not necessarily true." Izuku piped up as he felt fear in his chest as his mother gave him a look that said: are you really about to contradict your mother and say she is wrong? "Bacon can go in salads at dinner, or in Spaghetti Carbonara, or in a loaded baked potato."

Izuku held his breath as he waited for his mother to yell at him. The seconds ticked by as he began to visibly sweat. Meanwhile Hiro was giving him a look that said: "You just had to jump into a metaphorical hornet's nest didn't you?"

"I guess you are right Izuku. I guess I can put bacon in a salad for dinner."

Instantly Izuku deflated as all the fear and tension left his body as his breath went out in a large sigh.

"Anyways, head upstairs so you can change and unpack. You two are going to love your new rooms. I doubt I'll be able to get you boys to move out after graduating from UA. Your rooms are on the second floor, while Toshi and my room is on the third floor."

Izuku and Hiro walked up a stone staircase up to the second floor. Given how nice the place was there was probably an elevator, but they must have overlooked it. There were five bedrooms on the level and given the hint that All Might gave as they arrived, they were identical, just with different views given their placement.

As soon as Izuku opened the door to his new bedroom he unknowingly let his bag drop to the floor as he mouth fell open in a comical fashion.

Inside was a giant king size bed that seemed to be bigger than a normal king. On top was an elaborate bottle green bed set with the thickest duvet he had ever seen. Over the bed frame in block letters lit up with individual Edison light bulbs was his name spelled out in English and in Japanese.

Directly across from the bed was a view of central Tokyo and Tokyo Bay and in the middle was a pillar that had a TV mounted in a way that made it seem to be one with the and above a two way fireplace so you could enjoy it in the bedroom or on the balcony beyond. In front of the fireplace were two massage chairs that seemed to be similar to the one that Reiko had in her dorm room, all on top of a giant plush rug with the UA logo on it. Decorating the walls was a glass case with figurines of every number one hero since the dawn of quirks as well as the current Top 100 heroes, all signed. The other wall was completely covered in limited edition All Might posters, all framed and signed. All of his middle school trophies were among the posters as well.

Izuku walked toward the door on the wall on the right with all the figurines and opened it. Inside was a walk in closet that was thrice the size of his dorm room back at Height's Alliance. Again Izuku was shocked. Was this what Momo considered normal? Was this more extravagant than Momo's childhood home?! The closet was already filled with leather jackets, suits and ties, drawers with watches being spun around as they were being wound, drawers full of jeans and shorts of every color from designer brands, and branded T-shirts of all of Izuku's favorite pro heroes All Might. Izuku felt like he needed to collapse on one of the benches or arm chairs in the closet.

Composing himself, he left the closet and walked across to the door on the opposite end of the room, the one on the wall full of his trophies and signed All Might posters. He opened it and his mouth fell open again. This was the bathroom, but it put most other master bathrooms to shame.

Immediately to his left upon entering was a room to a toilet, which would prove convenient, Izuku thought. To Izuku's right was a view outside, this part only viewing Central Tokyo. There were two sinks set into the same kind of stone that made up the kitchen countertops with veins of sparkling emerald green formations rather than the gold in the kitchen flowing like rivers through the white stone. Next to the window was a gigantic round bathtub that could easily fit multiple people made of some light colored stone that made up the counters he just examined, green sparkling veins included. On top of that, the bathtub with pillows lining the edge to rest on while in the tub. In addition the tub had hundreds of holes drilled into it which Izuku guessed was a jet system in combination with a lighting system given evidence by the tablet that was on a stand next to the tub. Underneath the tub in the cabinets Izuku found loads of bath bombs, melts, fizzes, and bottles of scented bubble bath.

More impressive than the tub was the shower lining the wall at the end of the room, taking up the entire back wall, with the window to the outside being a part of it. It was basically a room in itself. Izuku walked in and looked at the many handles. As he was about to turn one of them on, his brain kicked in and told him it was probably not the best idea to be in the shower while it's on, while still dressed in his UA school uniform. So he stepped out and stripped before heading back in and playing with the features.

There were two large rainfall showerheads in the ceiling along with a multitude of multicolor changing lights, and also apparently a speaker system that went along with the rest of the bedroom, including a subwoofer just meant for the shower that was hidden in the ceiling between the two rainfall showerheads. There were body sprayers on both sides of the wall so he could just wash his body from the neck down if he wanted to. There were also gentle jets of water coming out of the floor of the shower like in a children's splash pad at a park. All the water coming out of every bit of the shower could be colored thanks to some nifty lighting system too. Finally there was a bench underneath the window that looked over Tokyo that Izuku could sit on and look over Tokyo as he showered.

Izuku then realized that there was room to dance with Reiko in here. Not ballroom dance mind you, but dance arm in arm together. At the thought of showering with Reiko, his imagination kicked into overdrive imaging every part of Reiko's undressed body in immaculate detail from head to toe, and also her rubbing shower gel over every centimeter of his body.

Izuku shook himself out of his nirvana level trance as he looked down to a certain part of his body standing at attention, and then toxic thoughts entered his mind.

"As much as I'd love to show Reiko my new room, what is she going to think? That I'm too rich for her? That I'm financially out of her league? That there isn't a gift that she could give me that would be expensive enough for my tastes given my room? How am I going to convince her that I'm not a snobby rich kid now? Wait… I'm an idiot. I'm a total goddamn fucking idiot. She already knows my mom is dating All Might. She knows where I lived before and what my old room looked like. She knows I'm not used to this level of luxury. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Worrying about something I don't need to worry about. Crap. This is probably going to happen when I try and fall asleep tonight too..."

Sighing with relief, Izuku turned all the water and the steam off in the shower as he grabbed an extremely fluffy white and soft towel with his name embroidered on it in bright green lettering off the warming rack. He spent a few minutes checking out his new muscles in the mirror before picking up his discarded clothes to put them in the laundry basket in his closet.

He walked across his room, but then sprinted into the closet as he realized that he had left his bedroom door wide open and anyone looking in would've seen more than they would have wanted to, sans Reiko Yanagi of course. Closing the door, he decided to place his clothes in the double set of washers and dryers that were in his closet along with the rest of his dirty clothes that he packed to get washed. He was going to have to have them clean anyways.

Izuku decided to put on a pair of generic black boxer-briefs, ignoring the pair of All Might branded undies, (he just couldn't imagine having his mom's boyfriend's face anywhere near his privates,) a pair of forest green sweatpants and an All Might T-Shirt. He looked at the numerous watches spinning in their drawers and decided to pick one that had a silver band and rim lined with green stones of some kind with an emerald green face and silver lettering. It fit just perfectly on his wrist.

All dressed up, he walked over to Hiro's room and knocked. He heard a faint, 'Come in!' and walked in. Hiro's room was the same size and shape as Izuku's, except his view encompassed all of Tokyo Bay along with a view of Chiba in the distance and a bit of Haneda Airport. He had the same massage chairs on top of a plush UA rug, but that was where the difference in decoration started to change.

Hiro had a plaid bed set like back at the UA dorms, this one being grey and green just like he had there. Hiro's end tables were made out of actual metal instead of rich wood like Izuku's. Hiro also had his name spelled out in Edison lightbulbs as well, in English and Japanese respectively. Decorating the walls were bricks that looked to be real, and on the left wall there were some signed posters from Nighteye and Fat Gum.

On the right wall there were some empty shelves where Hiro could put some stuff up as he collected things. Izuku wondered why his room was so heavily decorated, but Hiro's wasn't. When he and Hiro discussed it, they agreed that it was simply that All Might didn't know much about Hiro's interests and desires compared to Izuku, rather than blatant favoritism.

Hiro's closet had much similar clothing options like Izuku's. However, he noticed that there was far more plaid in this closet compared to Izuku's wardrobe.

"So how did you like the shower?" Izuku asked, noticing Hiro's damp blue hair.

"It's like wonderland." Hiro replied with a genuine smile, "After having to deal with sharing a single broken showerhead with four other boys for years, it was like I had my own private waterpark. Plus with my quirk, I can have all sorts of fun in there that you can't."

That earned him a soft punch to the shoulder.

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUB IN!" Izuku yelled out, but he was still smiling. "Have you thought about which clothes you are going to bring back to UA?"

"As much plaid as I can bring." Hiro said with a serious face that had Izuku trying not to laugh, not understanding his foster brother's obsession with plaid. "Anyways, let's head up to the third floor and see what is there apart from you mom's room."

The two boys headed up stairs to see a set of giant double doors which most likely lead to the master bedroom. Izuku decided it would probably be best not to go in there without permission, given it was his mother's private space after all. He didn't want to see something lying about that would scar him for all eternity. The master bedroom took up half of the entire floor, and the remaining spaces were taken up by a large home theater that could sit all of Class 1-A and 1-B, a golf simulator, a VR room, and miniature bowling alley.

From there they went up onto the actual roof. There was a gigantic rooftop swimming pool with hot tubs on every corner. There were sun loungers laid about surrounding the pool and grill's set up for an American style BBQ. Speaking of barbeque, there was an actual wood smoker set up with a letter taped onto it. Izuku noticed the letter was addressed to him.

Young Midoriya!:

You have made it plain and clear that you love cooking very much. I'm willing to bet you were geeking out when you saw the kitchen. When I spent my early hero career over in California, I happened to really fall in love with American BBQ. I haven't been able to get the same quality over here that I had stateside.

Now I bought this because I have a challenge for you. I dare you to try and make barbecue that would win awards in St. Louis or Texas for us this summer. Hope you are up to it.

All Might

"Izuku!" Hiro called out, "Stop crying or we will have to call the city's flood management department because Tokyo Bay will have overflown!"

"I've always wanted a real wood smoker…" Izuku whispered through the tears of gratitude as he opened up several cabinets which had stacks of various types of wood, ready to add flavor to some amazing food.

"I think it would be best if I pulled you away from this contraption." Hiro said slowly as he placed an arm around Izuku, guiding him back downstairs to the kitchen as Izuku moaned something about not wanting to leave 'his precious behind.'

"Hiro," Inko said as they walked back into the kitchen, "What's wrong with Izuku?"

"He found the wood smoker up top, and now he won't stop muttering something about his precious."

Inko merrily started cackling which brought Izuku out of his trance.

"Don't worry too much Hiro. It has always been one of Izuku's dreams to cook authentic American style BBQ, but we could never have a smoker at our old place. He'd ask for one every Christmas and every birthday and I'd have to tell him no every time. But we aren't having BBQ for dinner tonight Izuku since I've already started seasoning the steaks for dinner. Go to your offices and get your homework done before dinner so you will be free all weekend to have fun."

"Yes mom/Inko." both boys moaned as they trudged to the offices that All Might had set up for them.

Dinner was a long affair when All Might finally came back upstairs. Izuku made sure to get on his knees and thank him for setting up his room, and for the wood smoker. He confirmed their theories as to why Hiro's room wasn't as lavishly decorated as Izuku's, given that he had yet to develop his own tastes and desires.

"So Izuku." Inko said, turning to her son who had just finished his A5 Ribeye, and was polishing off his loaded baked potato. "What is really going on with you and Reiko Yanagi?"

Izuku nearly choked on his bit of loaded baked potato as he spluttered. He should've expected his mother to ask about Reiko, but yet he failed to prepare for the inevitable question.

"We are just really close friends mom." Izuku said, his voice higher than normal and everyone at the table gave a 'really?' look right back at him.

"So you have a crush on Reiko then?" Inko said, putting down her silverware, pushing her plate in front of her and then clasping her hands.

"What makes you say that?" Izuku gulped his face turning pink.

"Oh, Young Iida texted me saying that you had a crush on her." Inko said smiling as she took a sip from her glass of wine.

"You are dead Tenya! You are so fucking dead!" Izuku thought to himself as he struggled to rapidly think of a line of conversation to distract his mother from this most unpleasant topic. He thought about hinting that Hiro had a crush on somebody, although he had no idea who it was. Then he remembered how badly he reacted when the pressure was placed upon him when that topic came up and didn't want that on their first night together in Might Tower.

"When did he tell you this mother?" Izuku finally spoke up, hoping to delay and delay and delay. Then delay some more.

"Oh he texted me earlier today," Inko smiled, "He is such a well behaved young boy. Apparently he told me everyone's crushes. Apparently Felix has a crush on Kendo, your class president. You should invite her over, she seems to be a kind woman. Then he told me that Skyler has a crush on a Mellissa Shield…"

"WHAT!?" Toshi spluttered, spitting blood as everyone turned to look at him.

"Do you know this Mellissa Toshi?" Inko said, looking over towards her boyfriend.

"Um… Yes…" Toshi muttered, realizing he had inadvertently been over dramatic, "She's the daughter of a good friend of mine from back in the day, David Shield and I were colleagues when I lived in America and he has designed all my suits. I've known her since she was a little girl."

"Well apparently she has made a name for herself and has just graduated from the I-Island support academy a year early from what I've been told and is looking to go into an apprenticeship." Inko explained, "Apparently what Skyler finds attractive in her is that she is extremely intelligent and she doesn't let the fact that she is quirkless stand in her way."

"Well I guess those are appropriate reasons for being attracted to someone." All Might mused in a brooding tone, but still uncomfortable with the idea, stabbing his baked potato with more force than was necessary.

"If she graduated a year early, but still is in her 20s." Inko deadpanned, "Why are you against her dating if she is at that age and you are okay with Izuku dating? Besides, she isn't your flesh and blood. Isn't the overprotective father shtick supposed to fall under David Shield's purview?"

"I guess." Toshi mumbled as Izuku and Hiro took the opportunity to excuse themselves and clean their plates up to avoid becoming the focus of the dinner table conversation again.

Walking back upstairs to their individual rooms, Izuku went back into this closet and tried on some bottle green satin pajamas. He had never tried sleeping in them before and decided to try something new. Apparently Hiro had decided to do the same thing when he knocked on the door and entered wearing satin silver pajamas.

"Can I have a quick word with you Izuku?" He asked, looking a bit nervous.

"Of course you can Hiro." Izuku replied as he walked over to the fireplace and fumbled with the remote to try and turn it on. Once he had it on he sat down in the massage chair opposite Hiro, "What did you want to talk about?"

"Well…" Hiro began stuttering, feeling like he wanted to get the words out but there was a heavy weight pressing up on his chest. "Are you a bit uncomfortable living in this kind of place?"

"Kind of…" Izuku shrugged, "I thought about how I would explain it to our friends when we invite them over eventually. Only Reiko knows that Toshi is actually All Might, and she found out by freak accident. So it wouldn't be a surprise to her."

"Are you saying we should lie to our friends?" Hiro asked.

"Not exactly." Izuku mused, "We should ask Toshi about how we should discuss it with them, given that he is an expert in dodging questions."

"Except when your mother is asking them." Hiro laughed, which caused Izuku to sputter and then erupt in laughter as well. "I think that is a hidden quirk of her's if I'm honest. Anyways, we should ask him tomorrow morning."

"Was there anything else you wanted to ask?"

"Apart from feeling awkward, having grown up in a bedroom shared with twenty plus boys to having my own condo inside a condo… I feel as though… I don't deserve all that is happening to me… Why is this happening to me? Why aren't the other boys I lived with so lucky?"

Hiro paused looking into the flames for a good while. Izuku remained silent, not knowing how to respond to such a statement.

"Why out of all the people who grew up in the cursed place, did I find a family that loves me when few others did? I haven't heard much from the other boys. What I have learned from Inui-Sensei is that the majority were sent off to different orphanages around the country. Meaning most of the boys I lived with, are still living miserable lives. Why is it that I am now living a luxurious lifestyle when the rest of them are in better places than they were originally, but still living miserable lives without much hope?"

"I-I don't know how to answer that Hiro…" Izuku finally said after a long pause, his voice uneven. "I'm not like Inui-Sensei, Sakura-Sensei, or Dr. Maruki. I don't know how to answer these difficult questions, other than… It was just dumb luck that we met that one morning on the subway as I went to train with All Might at Dagobah Beach and you had snuck out that night. If you hadn't snuck out that night, or I had never taken that turn to walk under that bridge and ended up never meeting All Might, we would have never met. You would and all those other boys would be stuck in that shitty piss poor excuse for an orphanage."

Izuku then gulped as he thought of something else. He debated on not saying it out loud, but he decided to say it anyway, "Or you could be dead for applying to UA's Business Course… There would be no way the UA staff wouldn't have investigated the place where one of their students lived. It wouldn't have been easy for them as it actually happened, given I handed them your confession on a silver platter. But in the end I think Waira would've killed you in the end for starting about the events that brought the downfall of his main base of operations. You were nearly killed the way things actually played out. Also the only reason you were back on your feet so soon was because I used my green aura on you."

"Did you have to say it like that Izuku?" Hiro deadpanned which caused Izuku to fluster like mad.

"Dear god Hiro! I'm sorry!"

"It's okay Izuku." Hiro said, his knees up to his chest. "My mind was just going down a rabbit hole and I just needed to talk things out like Inui-San suggested in our meetings. Speaking of talking things out, do you want to talk about Reiko?"

"Not particularly." Izuku replied in a tensed voice, his muscles twitching. "I already had enough of that from Toshi and Mom."

"Sorry. I didn't expect Iida to blab about everyone's crushes to your mom." Hiro chuckled which got him a side-eye look from his foster brother. "When you were being a drama queen we were talking in our group chat and we managed to reveal Felix's crush on Kendo and then everyone's crushes got revealed."

"Including yours?" Izuku asked a bit uncomfortably, and Hiro looked back over the skyline of Central Tokyo.

"No. They couldn't guess my crush or Kaito's crush. They managed to guess everyone else's though."

"Even Tenya? You can't be telling me that he has a crush too?" Izuku said with a laugh.

"Yeah." Hiro chuckled, "Apparently he has a crush on Yaoyorozu, and it has nothing to do with her boobarouz or her ass. It all has to do with the fact that she respects rules and regulations and listens to authority leaders."

"I couldn't think of any more lame reasons to be attracted to someone!" Izuku laughed out loud, but then he quickly covered his mouth with both of his hands and got his laughter under control, "Please don't tell Tenya I said that."

"Only if you tell me what you find attractive in Reiko Yanagi." Hiro cheered with a devilish smile.

Izuku's face turned a bit pink and he struggled to speak. "Well you see… Her eyes are… well… um… a really beautiful shade of blue… She's kind… She likes video games and manga… We have similar quirks… Nice bum…"

"Sorry I didn't hear that last part." Hiro teased cupping his hand against his ear and Izuku's face turned red with frustration and embarrassment.

"I find her sexy! Is that what you wanted me to say?!" Izuku lashed out instinctively and then placed both of his hands over his mouth, realizing what he had just done.

"Okay! I'll stop!" Hiro said looking nervous, placing both his hands in front of him. "I'll stop teasing you about how you fantasize doing sexually inappropriate things to Reiko's lady bits."

"How did you-"

"I didn't." Hiro laughed, "But you just confirmed my theory."

"Fuck…. You…." Izuku growled, "It's not fair. You have a crush and I don't know who it is and thus I can't tease you about being attracted to him or her!"

"Oh that reminds me, Alex has a crush on Pony Tsunotori."

"Really? Why her?"

"Apparently it is her sweet farm girl attitude that can go into raunchiness if you say the right thing. Also the fact that they are extremely fluent English speakers, and he has a thing for the cow-girl look." Hiro chuckled.

"So who is your crush on?" Izuku asked again and Hiro's face once again turned white.

"Well you see…" Hiro began before going silent for a time, hoping for Izuku to start talking, but Izuku remained silent too. "I'm afraid to say."

"Hiro, you have nothing to be afraid of." Izuku said in a calm voice, "I'm not like Tenya who will tattle everyone's crushes to everyone's mother."

"It's not that Izuku." Hiro tried to explain, "How do I know what I'm feeling is actually a crush and not something else?"

"That's a good question." Izuku hummed, pausing for a moment, "When you look at this person, do you feel happy?"

"Yeah."

"Do you find this person cute?"

"Sort of… Yeah, they are cute…"

"Do you 'gulp' find yourself looking at their assets when they aren't paying attention?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Yeah…."

"Do you get this funny, warm, awkward, unexplainable jitters when you talk to this person?"

"Sometimes."

"Have you ever pictured what this person looks like naked?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Not before, but I just did…"

"Did you just like what you imagined?" Izuku asked while trying to not bust up laughing at his own question.

"Izuku….."

"Well, Hiro…" Izuku sighed, "I think you have a crush on this person. Can you tell me who it is?"

"No!" Hiro exclaimed, getting defensive, "Because then you will tease me relentlessly!"

"Like you have been teasing me about Reiko! It is only fair!" Izuku chided back, "Besides, part of being a foster brother means acting like a brother, which means teasing you at every possible opportunity!"

"Then I'm not giving you an advantage!" Hiro shot back.

"Come on please Hiro!" Izuku pleaded, getting out of his chair and getting on his knees to start begging! "I won't tell anyone without your permission and I'll limit my teasing to only when I know it is the two of us in the room!"

"Why should I tell you now? You just admitted that you would tease me!" Hiro shot back, glaring down at his foster brother who was trying the good old, puppy eyes trick. "Fine… Just please promise you won't make fun of me for having a crush on this person."

"As long as it isn't Tenya, or a teacher, or my mom, then I don't see a reason to make fun of you for having a crush on this boy or girl."

Hiro for his part gagged, "YOUR MOM IZUKU!? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!
How could you imagine me making out with Inko?!"

Izuku then also began to gag and retch as his imagination worked without his permission and began retching, "Why did you have to say that?!"

"Don't you try and put the blame on me Izuku! You were the one who mentioned me and your mom for crying out loud!"

"Fine...I'll tell you… If you promise... "Hiro sighed, looking very nervous, "Do you really promise Izuku?"

"Of course I do Hiro."

"I guess... "Hiro sighed, taking a deep breath. "I have a crush on Kaito..."

"See…" Izuku said after a moment's pause, "Wasn't that hard to say it out loud was it?"

"So you don't think it is weird or abnormal that I have a crush on Kaito?" Hiro asked, looking unsure at his foster brother.

"Why would I? We have only met Kaito this week since moving into UA, and they seem to be a good person, although I do admit we don't know much about him personally." Izuku explained, "Also I can see why you find him attractive, green eyes, freckles, all qualities found in an attractive person. Although the grey hair could be a more vibrant color, perhaps green?"

"Are you trying to toot your own horn Izuku?"

"A little bit." Izuku said with a smile and a shrug, "Despite not being my type, I prefer a different equipment setup, but I can see why you find them cute. You both also have similar personalities. That is, your personality when you are public, I've noticed you are far more open and friendlier when it is just the two of us."

"That's because you're my foster brother." Hiro said looking out at the Tokyo skyline, "I knew you before everything… happened. I don't know how to explain it, but even though I've known Tenya just as long… I feel more comfortable around you than anyone else."

"Have you talked about this with anyone yet?" Izuku asked, leaning back closer towards the fireplace so it warmed his backside a bit more.

"I've only sat down with Dr. Maruki a few times so far and Sakura-Sensei once." Hiro began to explain while shaking his head and experimenting with the buttons on the remote for the massage chair, "But seriously, you don't have a problem with me having a crush on Kaito even though we are both guys?"

Izuku sighed and laid flat on his back on the rug in front of the fire with his arms behind his head.

"Hiro. Don't you remember from history class? Homophobia pretty much died out pretty much completely a few decades after quirks first manifested in China." Izuku explained,

"The awakening of quirks was pretty much the definitive proof that evolution was an actual thing that not even the most religious of people could deny, which led to their decline of the religions that were popular during the pre-quirk era of society. Shiozaki is one of perhaps 2,000,000 Christians left on the planet out of 10.5 Billion people. Given that while there are more religious people than non-religious people on the planet, the vast majority of the population now follows non-theistic religions which are more tolerant to that sort of viewpoint. Also, given that there are surrogacy quirks and the natural evolution of science means that two men or women can have their own biological children without the help of a third party, besides that of carrying the child when two men have a kid."

"I'm sorry…"

"What do you have to be sorry for?" Izuku snapped back, looking angry which made Hiro look a bit shocked so Izuku took a few deep breaths.

"It's okay Hiro. I'm not angry at you. I'm angry at those Zu'Kuvma bastards who ran the orphanage you were brought up in who taught you that it was pretty much a crime or a punishable offense to have romantic feelings towards anyone. Am I wrong?"

Hiro shook his head.

"That pretty much hit the nail on the head. We weren't allowed to have any romantic relationships of any kind, even between residents. What they did to boys who were caught in a relationship together… is best not described. I already went over it once with the detective, I don't want to do it again. Especially given that we still have to show up in court when they hold the mass trial for all those who worked at the orphanage."

Izuku gulped.

"I completely forgot about that Hiro." Izuku moaned, "I don't want to go to court any more than you do. I don't know if I'll be able to control my anger when I look at the people who made your life as Shiozaki would describe: A Living Hell. I honestly don't think I will be able to stop myself from hurting them."

"Perhaps we can both ask to wear quirk suppressing cuffs?" Hiro suggested, "I don't think I'll be able to control my rage any more than you."

"Something to ask dad…." Izuku's eyes immediately went wide and he covered his mouth, and tears started leaking from eyes.

"Izuku…" Hiro asked slowly, "Did you just call All Might dad?"

There was a few seconds pause before Izuku nodded.

"I don't know why I did that." Izuku croaked, "Please don't tell him or mom."

"Why?" Hiro asked, getting out of his massage chair and joining his foster brother on the floor, wrapping one arm around him. "Why do you think All Might would not want to hear you call him dad?"

"I don't fucking know." Izuku croaked, wiping away a couple tears. "And I have no clue why I'm crying."

"Perhaps… Perhaps you should tell him anyways tomorrow, in private." Hiro suggested.

"Why? Won't it just be humiliating and embarrassing?" Izuku argued, looking at his brother in his eyes.

"Growing up as an orphan," Hiro said, taking a deep breath before continuing, "I would give up anything in the world just to have a dad of my own that I could be proud of and look up to. You can't do any better than the number one hero and role model that you've looked up to your entire life as a father figure when one wasn't in the house."

"Hiro…"

"Izuku…"

"Just between you and me… I fucking hate it when you make perfect sense…"

"As long as you don't hold it against me for too long bro…"

The two brothers hugged each other and stood up, and it was at that point that Izuku gave an involuntary yawn and quickly went to cover his mouth.

"I'll leave you to get dressed in pajamas and ready for bed." Hiro said as he turned his chair off and stretched.

"I am wearing pajamas already!" Izuku protested but Hiro merely snorted, and went into Izuku's closet and came out a minute later carrying a pair of green silk pajamas.

"These are pajamas Izuku." Hiro said, "Give them a try at least."

"Sweatpants are pajamas to me though Hiro." Izuku tried to argue, "Besides, sometimes I don't like wearing anything at all when I go to bed."

"You never slept nude when we shared a room together at the old place?" Hiro inquired which caused Izuku to let out a gruff sigh of annoyance.

"Well! That's because I wasn't alone in that room thank you very much!" Izuku replied argumentatively, his voice full of sass and volume rising.

"Just put that proper pajamas on Izuku!" Hiro said frustratingly.

"Why are you so obsessed with what I wear to bed?" Izuku asked, "What's wrong with not wearing anything to bed?"

"Because it's just that…" Hiro replied looking uncomfortable, "Remember what I told you about that one rule from growing up at the orphanage? It still has a strong hold on me."

Izuku thought for a moment. Couldn't remember, but then it hit him on why they had a rule from that one story and went, "Oh… Hold on… Do you think I might actually poop the bed?!"

"I mean you never know." Hiro said looking uncomfortable, "What if you have a dream in which you go to the bathroom and as a result go to the bathroom in real life?"

Izuku was about to make an argument, but then paused, "You know I've never thought about that. I don't recall ever going to the bathroom in one of my dreams, but if I did…."

Izuku then quickly grabbed the pajamas from out of Hiro's grasp, "Fine! I'll wear them. But only because I think these beds are more expensive than mom's new car anyways. Which reminds me, we definitely need to petition dad to buy a more respectable car."

"Fine." Hiro said as he slowly walked towards the door, "Also I wanted you to wear those so just in case we wake up all tired and dazed and don't walk out with your meter stick swinging."

Izuku immediately flustered red as he finished putting on his new pajama bottoms, "I thought you were against calling my… a meter stick… after how you went after Tetsutetsu and Kirishima the other night? It's not even close to a meter long!"

Hiro chuckled, and this angered Izuku, "But you are still by far the biggest with only Ojiro close to you."

"If you don't stop joking about my privates, I'll drop a hint to Kaito that for you, the carpets match the drapes Hiro!"

"You wouldn't dare!" Hiro said, turning pink as he almost lost his footing, "I could say the same to you and Reiko."

That got Izuku flustered too.

"I just want to go to bed okay?!" Izuku said with his face flush with color, "Just drop this inappropriate topic of conversation okay Hiro!"

"You were the one who brought up my hair Izuku." Hiro said, pointing an accusatory finger at Izuku.

"Well you were the one who brought up my size!" Izuku called out, but then they both heard a voice that brought them the identical feeling of being dipped into a frozen lake.

"Boys! Why are you both shouting about?" Inko's voice came as she opened the door without invitation looking at Hiro and Izuku, both their faces flushed pink. "And what is this and Izuku and size?"

"Oh you see Inko." Hiro stammered, "I was just teasing Izuku about Reiko and he didn't like being teased, and the conversation got a bit heated."

"I can see that." Inko giggled as Izuku felt a rush of embarrassment flood through him, "But where does size come in?"

"It doesn't mom." Izuku said, voice high pitched as he walked over to his mom, "Listen mom, it is really late and I'm exhausted, and really need sleep."

"Sure thing son," Inko said with a devilish grin that sent a chill up Izuku's spine, "We can just talk about this tomorrow morning over breakfast."

"Um… Mom…" Izuku said looking nervous as Hiro stealthily escaped the room and headed back to his own room, locking the door for good measure, "What Hiro and I talked about, can it just stay between the two of us? I understand you are concerned about us, being our mom and all, and the shouting, and possible colorful language you heard us use. Can it just stay between brothers without our mom getting involved?"

Inko stared at her son while he felt his heart beat rapidly in his chest.

"Fine." Inko said with a sigh and Izuku felt like an anvil was just lifted off his chest, "Just don't be shouting so loud late at night. I know we aren't in our old apartment where the neighbors could easily overhear us, but still you should know your manners young man."

"Yes mom. I will mom." Izuku said, quickly bowing and closing the door as he spread out on his very comfy bed.

"Oh and FYI Izuku." Inko's voice called through the door, "I have some of my good friends coming over for dinner tomorrow and they're bringing their families with them. So I'll be handling dinner tomorrow night too. Oh and just because we agreed to not talk about it, doesn't mean I can't speculate."

Izuku then violently threw himself onto his bed, grabbed a pillow and screamed in it in frustration. Speculation could be far worse than the truth, especially if it was his mother doing it.

A/N:

So Hiro's crush is Kaito Nakamoto! It has finally been revealed. I always intended before I wrote the first chapter that Hiro would be involved in a same-sex relationship. There being so many straight relationships in the story, I figured I'd add in a same-sex one in as well. That's a part of one of the reasons I created OC's. The only possible gay character in BNHA currently is Aoyoma, and not all gay men are like Aoyoma. The only other theorized gay character is Monoma, who I've read in some forums is a clear closet case. I didn't see it myself till I thought about it for a great deal, and then it made sense. But I didn't want to write a fanfiction where they were main characters so I created my own.

If you don't like the idea of Same Sex Characters. Please feel free to stop reading and unfollow/unfavorite the story. I don't need your patronage anyways. I would keep writing this story even if I had less than 10 followers and favorites because I simply enjoy writing it. Also, the person writing this story is an openly gay man, so another reason for all of you haters to leave. Bye Felicia! You won't be missed and feel free to let the door hit you on the way out!
