Taming of The Wolf

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, otherwise why would I be writing a Fanfic about them?

She sat her back to the tree. She could hear the pages of a certain orange book being turned. She picked her head up to see the twenty minute late shinobi approaching. The reason he was twenty minutes late and not six hours? To put it simply he had a mission. And Kakashi never missed missions At least not without a dire reason.

He wore a jonin uniform the standard attire for the thirty three year old elite jonin. The same old mask, leaf village headband over his left eye, black shirt, black pants, gloves, and his significant jonin vest.

He kept his eyes on his book, though she knew better he would always be the same. The orange perverted books with the acclaimed title, 'Come, Come, Paridise', there would forever be a volume at hand. He had never really explained how and why he became addictive to the novel's, some times she wondered if they were graphic.

Then she would have to question his sanity by saying, 'How can you read that with a strait face in public!' Yeah, along the lines of that.

She stopped looking at him to grin sheepishly and ask, "So what took you so long?"

He snapped his book shut and directed his attention to the pink haired kunoichi. "I saw a girl crying because she lost her cat." He said simply. "So I went to look for her and I found out it was a black cat, so I had to take a completely different direction." He crossed his arms one book in hand.

Sakura stared at him with disbelief, and fatigue. She yawned covering her mouth, "Y-e-a-h, sure." She waved him off. "You say that."

"I was hoping you would believe me this time Sakura," he said teasingly. A small glint of playfullness was shown in his visable eye. He opened the book again to read back on the page he started

"In your dreams." She yawned again and rubbed her eyes.

Kakashi chuckled, she looked so cute when she was tired. He dug his nose back into his book as he sat down beside the nineteen year old female. She looked extremely tired.

She yawned once more, and as quick as a snap Sakura was asleep. Her slowed breathing gave it away. She unconsciously moved towards the direction of her ex-teacher, her head fell in his lap.

Kakashi looked down at his former student. Her hair wasn't short like it had been in her first chunin exams. It was a least to her mid-back, braided so the strands of silk wouldn't be in the way while she was on her duties. She was breathing soundlessly, obliviously she was in need of sleep there was black rings around her eyes.

Kakashi yawned again his view began to flutter in and out. He was consious on how awkward the situation would be if one of his friends found them like this. But he doubted the abrupt thought if they had a camera with them.

He yawned. Yawns are contagious. He rested his head against the tree as the book fell from his hands, dropping on the ground. He nuzzled the warmth close to him.

His body slumpled from leaning against the tree to lying completely on the ground. He snaked an arm , for fate couldn't help stirring the mixing pot up.

He sighed in his sleep as his ex-student reminded him of someone as warm as th blooming Sakura on the ground. Mother. He finally was asleep the warm breeze easing him into this situation.

"Hakano."

Don't forget to review! It gets really depressing when you have no reviews while posting a new story, with a great plot in your head!

Oh and How You Remind Me, sorry for the wait but I have to type all the pages I wrote while I was in the Costa Rica (for a good 2 weeks!)
