Just One Little Break?
Maureen came into the room, and pouted her full lips. Joanne was still working. It was close to 11:30, and the diva wanted to have some fun. She went over to her lover, and began to massage her shoulders. Joanne moaned loudly at first, but quickly understood what Maureen wanted.
"Honey, I'm trying to work here," she said firmly.
"That's all you ever do now is work. You get up real early, go down to the firm, and then you bring your work home, and spend all your time doing paperwork." Slowly, Maureen slid her hands down the front of Joanne's shirt until…
"Maureen!" Joanne shrieked, nearly jumping out of her skin. "I'm trying to work!"
"Come on Pookie," Maureen purred in her ear. "Just one little break?"
"No." Joanne sighed when Maureen began to kiss her neck. "Give me half and hour." Maureen jumped up and down, clapping. Then, Joanne heard her set the alarm on her hot pink Walmart watch, so she wouldn't have to wait any longer for her to take a break. Maureen then sauntered to their bedroom to plan her next protest.
Twenty-five minutes later, Maureen came back into the room. Joanne was still busily working at the kitchen table. Maureen draped herself across the table. She propped herself up with one elbow, and began to play with the corner of Joanne's paperwork. Joanne looked up slightly, but quickly went back to her work. Five minutes later, the timer on Maureen's watch went off. True to her word, Joanne put all her stuff away, and looked at her lover.
"Okay Mo, I'm all yours," she said simply. Maureen smiled mischievously as she straddled the lawyer. She snaked her arms around her neck, and pressed her lips against Joanne's. Joanne began to kiss Maureen back passionately.
Before either one knew what was going on, they were on top of the table, completely wrapped up in each other. As clothes were torn off each other, the familiar crevices of their bodies were explored yet again. Maureen felt Joanne's hand creep down to her inner thigh. The diva moaned loudly, and pressed herself against her lover.
At 6:30 the next morning, Joanne's alarm clock woke Maureen up. Grumbling, Maureen turned off the alarm, and began to look for Joanne. Joanne was sitting at the kitchen table working. Maureen wrapped a blanket around her lover's shoulders to protect her from the cold February air.
"How long have you been up?" she asked as she made them both some coffee.
"Since 4:00. I couldn't sleep, and I had some work to finish, so I came out here to work."
"Oh Pookie, you're going to be so tired today. After last night, and getting up early, you'll be completely wiped when you get home tonight." Joanne smiled fondly when Maureen mention the night before.
"Don't worry about
me honey. What are you doing up so early?"
"Your alarm woke
me up. Here drink." Maureen shoved a mug of hot coffee into
Joanne's hand. Joanne took a long drink of the hot liquid.
"Why are you in such a good mood?" she questioned.
"Last night," Maureen whispered in her ear before sitting cross-legged on the table with her own cup of coffee. "Do you want me to leave so you can work?"
"You're not going back to sleep?"
"I'm up, I have coffee in my hand, you're stuck with me for another day. That is, of course, unless you want me to leave." Maureen showed of her famous pout, causing Joanne to smile.
"No, stay here with me. We never get a chance to talk anymore. I'm a gifted multi-tasker, so I can't believe I'm saying this, start talking!" Maureen smiled. Joanne was right; they ever got a chance to talk anymore. She gently ran her fingers through Joanne's curly hair.
"I love you, Pookie." Joanne took Maureen's hand, and kissed it softly.
"I love you too, Honeybear."
